From our very first interaction with Christine, we felt warmth, compassion, and clear guidance. Case manager Tony showed consistent care and patience toward our loved one, and Jon led family meetings that were both helpful and informative. Scott’s passion for helping clients, combined with his own experiences, has been truly inspiring.
TARC is a safe and caring place for anyone seeking sobriety and recovery. The emphasis on healthy eating and fitness training is a powerful part of the program and will leave a lasting positive impact on each individual. The 3-day Family Weekend is especially meaningful and unique—staff like Sara, Andrew, and Tony provided excellent educational sessions, while the time spent together strengthened family bonds in a deep way.
Our loved one has now moved on to a sober-living home in another state for career-related reasons. While we wish he had chosen to stay longer and then continue with TARC’s sober-living program, which we understand is also very strong, we remain deeply grateful for the foundation TARC helped him build.
A big thank-you to all the staff, and to Jason, the owner, for his kind guidance and leadership. God bless you all for the important work you do—saving lives and helping people reclaim their future.

When our son came here, we didn't just find exceptional clinical care but we also found a place that treated our entire family like their own.The family program is unlike anything we could have expected. The family weekends brought us together with other families walking the same journey, and those connections have turned into lifelong friendships we will always treasure. It's rare to find a program that understands healing doesn't happen in isolation but it takes the whole family. That sense of community is something we never anticipated & will always be thankful for.

Our son went to Augustine Recovery Center for a 90 day program. He was a chronic relapser. We were worn out, scared, and yet still knew our son was always worth fighting for. We heard about Augustine from an interventionist. It was the BEST decision of our lives. Having other high end facilities let us down, not to mention the fees was disappointing BUT not this place. Lakeview was amazing, it saved my life. It felt like a vacation, Its practically a health resort. It was so peaceful and serene. I felt I was cared about when cared for, I felt like they were actually invested in my recovery rather than feeling like a number. From the nurses to the blue-shirts, the therapists, the kitchen staff... everyone was so nice and supportive.
The food was amazing, honestly. The pool was nice, gym was immaculate. Yoga instructors were awesome. We went for surfing lessons, went out to a horse farm to pet and feed some little horses. You have a massage therapist come in, and someone to come in for haircuts. Theres even a little zen meditation room. The lake on the men's side is full of life, little ducks and geese, big bass and turtles you can feed - although I don't think you're supposed to, anyways. The facility is nice, its got a real pretty view, good food, great staff. I cant imagine how they could go wrong.
If I had to complain, the apartments, the PHP after the inpatient - the last period before you graduate... the apartments kind of sucked, but the comradery, the fellowship there.. it was a great place to transition back into the real world. And the girl at the window that took the cigarette and vape orders seemed like she was always having a bad day... but still. This place is amazing.
I love Lakeview. I brag about my experience there. I highly recommend it.

I was a patient at Lakeview from October 20, 2002, to November 19, 2002. I was there during Lakeview's infancy, when there was only one building, a couple of picnic tables, a basketball hoop and a beat up volleyball net. I can tell you, with great conviction, their program works.
Lakeview gave me the tools I needed to learn how to live a sober life. I still use those tools today, and I have been sober for just over 23 years now. I wish I could come down there and speak to the people currently residing there and tell them it's possible to turn theirs lives around. I am living proof of that,
Thank you, Lakeview.

I didn’t always agree with how everything was run, but overall the program was truly worthwhile and helped me tremendously. The therapists were exceptional, and I credit them—along with other staff members—for my engagement and my desire to fully commit to and benefit from my time there.
The programming was a major strength, especially the medical sessions led by doctors and nurses, as well as the psychotherapy sessions led by trained therapists. These were pivotal to my success. They also offer nightly 12‑step meetings, typically hosted by outside groups such as AA and NA, which added meaningful support.
The living arrangements exceeded my expectations. The dorm room was comfortable (the beds were genuinely great), the food was very good with a wide variety of options every day, and there was a healthy balance of structured programming and downtime for reading, homework, movies, and rest.
One thing that particularly impressed me was their weekly Town Hall, where patients can openly raise concerns, complaints, suggestions, and compliments directly with leadership, including the CEO, Clinical Director, Nursing, Maintenance, and BHTs. While the facility is clearly short‑staffed, I never once felt unsafe or discouraged from voicing my concerns. Some of the rules could be frustrating, but they are clearly in place for patient safety.
I am 44 days sober today. When I arrived, I was angry at the world, ready to leave AMA, and intent on drinking myself to death. I left with a powerful desire to live and to continue doing the next right thing to stay grounded in my recovery. Stepping Stone—especially my individual therapist and the classes—saved my life. I will be forever grateful.

This was a great experience, I love the program. I learned a lot about myself and have grown quite a bit. I think the program will help a lot more people in the future and was worth every penny!

The i | Treatments Programs Payment Options | Taking the MRT class was an amazing experience that genuinely increased my self-awareness. Right from the start, Susan was incredibly friendly and helpful during the intake process, which made a huge difference. The program teaches you to look closely at your goals, behaviors, and thinking processes in ways you might not have realized you needed. It really opens your eyes to what’s happening around you, and having Robert Morger as an instructor made it even better. He was so supportive and made the material easy to connect with

When walking into the break the cycle I was greeted by Susan that was very friendly and super helpful. Having Jamie as our counselor who is the instructor in our classes has made this experience easier for me. She is so supportive and full of so much knowledge to make you understand the ins and the outs of whats right and what’s wrong. She is very genuine, but at the same time she gets her message across. For someone like me that has never had to experience this before in my lifetime Jamie has made me see this whole experience in a different lens .

For the first time in my life never did I ever think I would be in a situation so confusing in life, but I walked into the office in Bunnell and first met Susan ( Office Manager) and Jamie (my counselor) I was so nervous, not knowing what to expect but they both made my visit so comfortable for me. Thank you both for your support and politeness. You made my visit so much easier that I expected.

Saint Augustine, FL | Dr. Paul’s by the Sea, in Saint Augustine, Florida, is a private dual diagnosis treatment center. They offer inpatient treatment and aftercare support, including intensive outpatient programs. They accept a wide range of insurance plans for payment. You might enroll in their medication assisted treatment program if you’re in alcohol or opioid | Treatments Programs Payment Options | This is the first time I've been in a treatment center. The faculty is outstanding, 5 star. They care. Always courteous. My favorite nurse is a lady named Toni. She just has what it takes to make my mind go somewhere else than on my problems of the day. She keeps a close eye on everything going on and the clients as they pass her station. She recognizes symptoms and actually stops me to see if I need anything to help at that moment. She's a great listener and I will miss her so much after I leave to start my new life of freedom from drugs and alcohol and my daily overall mental health. I want to thank the people of Spencer's recovery for the fine work they do morning, noon and night to keep everyone comfortable and in good spirits. I would suggest to anyone having difficulty in daily life to seek help. It's here. They are here for you. Professional, courteous, and well trained to guide you through the process of healing your addiction or mental health issues.
Sincerely:
Yul Whitson Sr.
