First let me say thank God for The Augustine Recovery Center! The road to finding a top notch Recovery Center for our loved one finally landed us at TARC after four different and unsuccessful experiences in four different recommended centers throughout the country. One thing that I still remember from our initial calls with Christine are the words, “We will not give up on your son.” They have been true to their word and more- the transformation we have seen in our son is truly amazing and I thank the wonderful staff for their knowledge, commitment and compassion throughout the recovery process. I feel as though the staff goes beyond what is required of them and believe that this is a key reason that TARC is so well respected among clients and their families. Staff is readily available for family members that have questions or just want an update on their loved one. The Family Weekends were amazing and packed with informative sessions as well as time for relaxation with family and the other clients and their families. TARC is a smaller recovery center which provides our son with individual attention and counseling as well as group sessions which promote unity and support among the clients themselves. We love that they provide a continuum of services after the initial three months of inpatient, transitioning clients to Cornerstone and then Sober Living all on their same property allowing for continuing services with the same wonderful staff that has supported them throughout their recovery! The bonds that form among clients, staff, and within the community have helped tremendously in supporting a long term recovery for our son. I want to personally thank the entire staff at TARC because each and every one of them played an important part in giving us our son back but a special shout out to his case manager Scott whose knowledge, patience and compassion got us all through some very difficult times. We are all forever grateful to you!

If you are looking for a long term rehab for your loved one, look no further. My brother was in a few rehabs before my mother and I found TARC and nothing else could compare. The way the entire staff truly cared about the recovery of the guys there and their families is extraordinary. My brothers case manager, Ryan, always stayed in constant contact with both my mother and I. He was always a phone call away if we had any questions or concerns. He also reached out to us at minimum, on a weekly basis to keep us updated on my brothers progress. He always showed genuine care, compassion and concern. No other facility he was in ever did that! They also offer weekly family support group meetings which have been so helpful. After visiting during one of their family weekends, I could see the positive community and its impact on my brother. They really focus on a healthy lifestyle, behaviors and routines which my brother has continued after leaving TARC. I am extremely grateful for all the staff at TARC and their role in my brothers recovery.

Once he arrived, I received a call…he’s here, he’s safe. For the first time, I could breathe. Augustine Recovery has been a life changing experience. The family weekends are immersive, supportive, and meaningful. The treatment team was not just focused on my son; they were piecing together information about our family system in order to promote true healing. The commitment and support that we received was invaluable. Jon, our case manager and Karen, our therapist came together in every way possible to help my son and family. Jon was always one step ahead of me. He would listen and ask questions - often challenging my ideas and was always right in his approach. Karen, our therapist, always knew how to bring things back into balance. I truly appreciate the amount of time she spent to bring about the best outcomes in therapy. I have never witnessed such dedicated people interact with my son and be able to reach the depth of understanding the way they did. I was often in awe of them. My gratitude to Augustine Recovery and the entire staff is immeasurable. Trust the work that they do here and miracles unfold.

Jack is an outstanding counselor whose support has been instrumental in my recovery. I met him on my first day at the clinic — a day when I was sick, overwhelmed, and angry that I was even there…on my birthday, no less. I remember him saying to me that this was the best birthday present I could give myself. I didn’t believe him then, but now, over 2 years later, I can see that he was a 1000% right. I also remember how uncomfortable I was but Jack put me at ease immediately, he met me with kindness and compassion, and I feel so fortunate that on my first day, he was the first person I ran into. Throughout my first year of sobriety, Jack consistently went above and beyond. In the beginning, I remember connecting with him over cats- we were both cat-people. Through the first few months of my recovery, I was battling homelessness, & Jack always checked in with me and made sure my cat was ok and had food. That is above & beyond, genuinely kind, & exactly the traits you look for in a counselor. He always made himself available, provided honest and thoughtful guidance, and I appreciated when he asked me insightful questions that helped me understand my resilience, the circumstances of my recovery, and how I had the power to build a clear path forward. His approach is both realistic and deeply kind, and I always felt safe and supported in his care. And laughter! We were able to find humor in an otherwise complicated and dire situation. He always did everything he could to help me. I’ll never forget how supportive he was- you can tell he really cares. I still check in with him today, and he continues to be supportive and encouraging. I truly believe I’m sober today in large part because of his help, guidance, & support. I couldn’t recommend him more highly.

I had my visit lab work, 01/09/2020 and my first doctor visit 01/10/2020, the reception, respect and care almost brought to tears. I was just bragging about Lakeview and pointing a friend in this direction, and i was shocked to see even one negative review. Lakeview was amazing, it saved my life. It felt like a vacation, Its practically a health resort. It was so peaceful and serene. I felt I was cared about when cared for, I felt like they were actually invested in my recovery rather than feeling like a number. From the nurses to the blue-shirts, the therapists, the kitchen staff... everyone was so nice and supportive. The food was amazing, honestly. The pool was nice, gym was immaculate. Yoga instructors were awesome. We went for surfing lessons, went out to a horse farm to pet and feed some little horses. You have a massage therapist come in, and someone to come in for haircuts. Theres even a little zen meditation room. The lake on the men's side is full of life, little ducks and geese, big bass and turtles you can feed - although I don't think you're supposed to, anyways. The facility is nice, its got a real pretty view, good food, great staff. I cant imagine how they could go wrong. If I had to complain, the apartments, the PHP after the inpatient - the last period before you graduate... the apartments kind of sucked, but the comradery, the fellowship there.. it was a great place to transition back into the real world. And the girl at the window that took the cigarette and vape orders seemed like she was always having a bad day... but still. This place is amazing. I love Lakeview. I brag about my experience there. I highly recommend it.

I was a patient at Lakeview from October 20, 2002, to November 19, 2002. I was there during Lakeview's infancy, when there was only one building, a couple of picnic tables, a basketball hoop and a beat up volleyball net. I can tell you, with great conviction, their program works. Lakeview gave me the tools I needed to learn how to live a sober life. I still use those tools today, and I have been sober for just over 23 years now. I wish I could come down there and speak to the people currently residing there and tell them it's possible to turn theirs lives around. I am living proof of that, Thank you, Lakeview.

My experience at Umatilla TRV was mixed, but one person who genuinely stood out to me was Chris Fields, the Financial Manager. Chris was one of the best advocates for clients that I encountered. He was patient, understanding, and willing to actually listen and help when I had concerns. He made an effort to explain things clearly and treated me with respect, which made a real difference during a difficult time. I truly appreciate the way Chris advocates for clients and goes beyond simply doing his job. His compassion, professionalism, and willingness to help definitely deserve recognition. Overall, I’m giving my experience 4.5 stars, with Chris being a major reason for that rating.

I love Harmony Hills. If you are looking for a place to get fully recovered and finally be free of your addictions and mental health issues, you are looking in the right direction and there is hope for you. The teachers are amazing here and will teach you so much if you’re open and honest with your true self and ready and willing to hear. Your recovery depends on you here but Harmony Hills gives you the tools you need to thrive and get better. There is opportunity here if you’ll take it. It’s not luxury but the view is beautiful and everyone is so nice and welcoming always and it makes up for it. Here they realIy treat you like family. I cannot say enough good things about Mrs Amber, my therapist and Mrs Mary the teacher. You can learn a lot from them and if you have the chance to request Mrs Amber, do so. I came with no good ideas regarding coping skills or how to cope with difficult situations and now I’m leaving with a list of ways.

I didn’t always agree with how everything was run, but overall the program was truly worthwhile and helped me tremendously. The therapists were exceptional, and I credit them—along with other staff members—for my engagement and my desire to fully commit to and benefit from my time there. The programming was a major strength, especially the medical sessions led by doctors and nurses, as well as the psychotherapy sessions led by trained therapists. These were pivotal to my success. They also offer nightly 12‑step meetings, typically hosted by outside groups such as AA and NA, which added meaningful support. The living arrangements exceeded my expectations. The dorm room was comfortable (the beds were genuinely great), the food was very good with a wide variety of options every day, and there was a healthy balance of structured programming and downtime for reading, homework, movies, and rest. One thing that particularly impressed me was their weekly Town Hall, where patients can openly raise concerns, complaints, suggestions, and compliments directly with leadership, including the CEO, Clinical Director, Nursing, Maintenance, and BHTs. While the facility is clearly short‑staffed, I never once felt unsafe or discouraged from voicing my concerns. Some of the rules could be frustrating, but they are clearly in place for patient safety. I am 44 days sober today. When I arrived, I was angry at the world, ready to leave AMA, and intent on drinking myself to death. I left with a powerful desire to live and to continue doing the next right thing to stay grounded in my recovery. Stepping Stone—especially my individual therapist and the classes—saved my life. I will be forever grateful.

Getting treatment for PTSD and Trauma is hard to admit to. Going there and being traumatized by outside family members while I was suppose to be healing made the experience even more difficult. My complaints about The Refuge relate to employees clearly not train to care for patients struggling with disorders in mental health. I had a cardiac episode that was barely addressed and if I was lucky, I could see a medical provider once a week even though I understand vitals and voiced for 2 weeks something was wrong. The nurses held an "I know more than you mentality" despite me treating them with patience and respect and having experience in the medical field. The only reason I am giving this place 5 stars is because the therapist themselves and the CEO took my concerns seriously and genuinely cared about healing those who took the program seriously. It kind of seemed like each therapist held a specific personality so clients could learn to both tolerate different personality types, and not let those personalities that they were not compatible with cause them to spiral. Don't get me wrong, there were some therapists and staff members I dreaded dealing with. I quickly realized that if I wanted the program to work and chose to make the sacrifice of prioritizing my healing process. I faced the struggles of being away from my children and having attacks from my closest relatives attempting to sabotage my treatment. The clients there provided support and understanding in a safe environment where I likely would have given up if I wasn't there. I quickly realized that respect towards the staff and accountability to use the tools taught to me was the only way to heal. Sitting around complaining like other clients and expecting to be catered to by complaining about the services would get you no where. I reached a limit with my own therapist but when I started unwrapping buried memories from my childhood, my safe person became Shelley (clinical director) and Stephanie (CEO). You can tell Shelley lives for helping those struggling and Stephanie set the example of leadership that is rare to find these days. Her undercover boss personality to correct the wrongs/complaints about The Refuge often left me wondering when this woman ever went home. The only complaint I submitted pertained to a case manager and Stephanie was immediately on it, as was Shelley. Both made me feel heard when I previously had the habit of shutting down. I left The Refuge feeling like I was worthy of love and being able to love myself. Where I previously protected others, I gained the confidence and tools to protect myself. I never knew trauma was something that could be worked through. I'd always thought it was something I had to carry my whole life and learn to live with. Every business in the world has it's flaws but if you apply yourself while waiting for answers or assistance from therapist and staff members juggling a number of patients, you will progress and leave with something. I left stronger and feeling like a leader. I learned to never judge anyone and even people with a record or past deserve love and grace. People there are seeking help to change and not repeat patterns and I give the utmost respect. Thank you to The Refuge, Stephanie, and Shelley (honorable mention to Jana and Bonnie (who left to chase her dreams)) for restoring my faith in humanity.

The Refuge helped save my life. Just being away from stress helped my depression and anxiety. Certain staff members and clients were part of my healing process. I devoted to eating a healthy diet and started lifting weights again. I've lost 60 lbs and still lift, walk/jog and now I'm walking with a 30 lb rucking backpack. I've been more engaged with my 3 kids and web we've done some really tough hikes. I still have to rise from the ashes because I'm dealing with stuff at home. I'm a hundred and thirty one days sober. Drove down from Jacksonville for an ENT Consult. The receptionist was pleasant and on the ball, he was quick and professional at all time, even with the difficult vets. Saw DNP Kaminski would was polite, tentative and answered all our questions. She came up with a game plan that we all felt was a good step in the right direction. Glad I made the drive.

Beyond grateful for my two visits here at FRC. I am now coming up just shy of two years sober. I did my two stints at the old facility. The staff is extremely welcoming, the programming is great, and both times met great friends I am still in contact with today. Making the call to get a ride back to FRC after a month long binge, withdrawing in a fetal position on my floor, was the best choice I have made. From spiraling out of control and loosing it all, to building up a new prestigious career, brand new life, and most importantly, my peace of mind. I needed a break. A vacation from the lifestyle I was living. A trip back to reality. I couldn’t bear to live one more hour. FRC gave me it all. Get the hardest part over with. Make the call, you wont regret it.

I can't recommend FRC enough. This organization has truly been a life-changer and life-saver for me. My journey with FRC began in 2007 when I was a patient receiving care. I was at the lowest point in my life after years of substance use and a near fatal suicide attempt. Under the care of Dr. Teitelbaum, The support I found there was instrumental in introducing me to recovery, and I am incredibly grateful for the nearly 18 years of sobriety I have today because of that start. To come full circle and later spend over 12 years working on the incredible FRC Team has given me a unique perspective. I will forever be grateful for having the opportunity to witness firsthand the profound, life-changing work that happens there every single day. My appreciation for FRC, its mission, and its dedicated staff is immense. Unfortunately, I am starting a new job in another city to be closer to my family, but I will always carry FRC with me. "It works, if you work it, so work it, you're worth it!" I came to the Florida Recovery Center a broken man, suicidal, no self-confidence, and a great lack of a sense of purpose and worth. Through intensive individual therapy, group therapy, recreation therapy, in-depth 12 Step assignments and application, CBT (Cognitive Behavior Therapy), a multitude of informative and illuminating lectures (medical, recreational, spiritual, relational), and a greatly supportive community of people all working on the same goal of sobriety and sanity, I have been able to begin my life anew. I am now 90 days sober for the first time in 30 years thanks to FRC (Florida Recovery Center)!!!! I would not be alive to write this review had they not believed in me and, likewise, I had not believed and trusted the process. I just wanted to share that I have been going to this clinic off and on since 2013. I have came and gone, I have had counselor after counselor. My counselor now is IRA. I have been close with a lot of my counselors before but he’s the first counselor I can honestly say I have been 100% honest with. No judgement. When I think I have accomplished something as small as a grain of sand he reminds me of the mountain I just moved. Today I broke down and he brought up things that hit the heart with me and made so much sense because he actually listens. Other counselors have pushed me to go to meetings when all I needed was one on one counseling and the counseling I received today was exactly what I needed. I just wanted to share how awesome IRA is and how much he is apppreciated. I am so thankful for this clinic because I don’t feel so alone anymore. If you’re thinking about starting I would recommend this clinic 1000 percent. I’ve gone to multiple clinics and this clinic is by far the best

I've been with Quad County for a long time. I have had amazing Counselors. But the one I have now is her name is Melanie Pease. She is like no other councler. She go's far and beyond her job to help me. Melanie Is the reason my recovery goes smoothly and she trys to achieve and help me with my goals in my treatment. To be honest I thank god for giving me a councler that actually cares about the patient and helps us in our recovery. I believe that new season (Quad County) is a good place for the help we need but having a great councler like Melanie makes life and recovery so much smoother.

Go to new season and I know it'll be the best thing you ever did they just continue to get better the new stuff is awesome The new coordinator He's on top of everything and my new counselor Melanie she just rocks it I don't know how I don't know how she has so much care for her patients and will work so hard for them and I like my last counselor but I've not seen this kind of devotion in a counselor besides Julio which I've discovered to be tremendously a helpful person in my life his groups just make you be able to get through the week and there's more than one reason to go to groups you know but the reason mainly is to stay clean and get clean and I called it a life changer now it's a game changer because it's completely changed the way I play my game and I get scared of change of new stuff but new seasons they've got it covered because they hire good people so no matter who you get you're in good hands. I urge people who are trying to decide to go or not and have that scale tipping just tip it on in all you got to do is just take that baby step and then the next baby step after that and then it won't be so hard I just don't want to hear any more about these deaths or families lives being ruined it's it's sad and it took me a long time to see it from the other side it's new season who got me to the other side Melanie she rocks it and Mr Tim he seems very on top of it very professional like I said I just do put this on here because I hope if anybody's facing their recovery on the reviews do it you know do it for you and do it at new season even if you don't get Melanie all the other counselors are good Julio I know he's an excellent counselor I know all of the counselors are great people

Break the Cycle Counseling was not something I was honestly looking forward to doing at first. It was court-ordered as part of the requirements for completing my probation, so I went into it feeling a little unsure about what to expect. I called and spoke with Susan at the front desk, and she was incredibly sweet, knowledgeable, and helpful. She answered all of my questions and made the process easy from the very beginning. After completing my drug evaluation, I was assigned 12 classes with Jamie as my counselor. Jamie has brought up a lot of important points and helped me recognize things about my life that I had already started to see in myself. The classes have been easy to understand, informative, and, surprisingly, actually fun to attend. I want to sincerely thank Jamie and Susan for being so professional, friendly, and welcoming throughout this experience. Because of the way they have treated me, something I initially wasn't looking forward to became a much easier and more positive experience. It honestly seems like as soon as I walk in the door, I'm just about at completion. I only have two classes left, and I can't believe how quickly the time has gone by. I'm grateful for the experience and for the way Jamie and Susan have made the entire process so comfortable and positive.

Thanks to Mrs Ashley for being the best counselor. She was amazing and honestly really cool. She is strait forward and as long as you keep up with your homework and send it on time you won't have any problems. Easy classes and very quick. I'm glad I picked this online class, by the time I knew it I already graduated!!! (Quick tip) Just do ur homework ahead of time and just turn it in. Not all at once but at least you get it done and turn it in on the due date!! Thank you Break the cycle
