I was a patient at Lakeview from October 20, 2002, to November 19, 2002. I was there during Lakeview's infancy, when there was only one building, a couple of picnic tables, a basketball hoop and a beat up volleyball net. I can tell you, with great conviction, their program works. Lakeview gave me the tools I needed to learn how to live a sober life. I still use those tools today, and I have been sober for just over 23 years now. I wish I could come down there and speak to the people currently residing there and tell them it's possible to turn theirs lives around. I am living proof of that, Thank you, Lakeview.

I was forced to go to Lakeview but I'm happy that I did. I finally admitted that I was an addict and I needed help and I need to change my life. At first I did not want to participate or talk with anyone but after a couple days of hearing other people's stories I realize where I was at in my life and where I was going to end up if I continue. During my stay here I follow their program schedule and start going to the group therapy. For some you may think it's dumb, useless, waste of time but if you really just be more open-minded and use what they teach you it will make a big difference in your life. A big plus for me while I was here was the pool and the gym, never really use the pool but it is a very nice pool with a nice view of the pond I'm back to the gym the gym have everything that you need and yes they do have real trainers. You only get access to the pool and gym if you're in the store, php, and IOP if you're in stepping stone you're out of luck. Yes you can bring your car and leave it park at the Star Wednesday and Saturday are outings AA meeting Monday, Wednesday and Friday NA meeting Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday Walmart runs and etc

Dr Herbly is kind and understanding, never in a hurry. I always feel more positive and hopeful after talking with him.

At Recovery Village in Umatilla, Florida all my needs were met by the staff and my peers. I didn’t have expectations when I arrived here, so leaving with a solid treatment plan, all of my appointments made by Chris my case manager, and I completed all my assignments from my therapist. I have the shout out for my therapist, Barb, Kelly, who works in the kitchen, some BHT’s named Shannon, Candy, Sherrie, Roz, Dorian, Ron, Mary, and I’m sure there’s many more but I’m being rushed to finish the survey Lol. I’m going home right now feeling amazing and I’m ready to go to meetings work with a sponsor, etc. I thoroughly have been taught about the AA program. Things. I am a mental health counselor and recently my daughter had an unexpected serious mental health crisis and required residential treatment. From experience, I understand residential care very well and how important of a decision it is for a client and family. I have nothing but great things to say about Harmony Hills. She has recovered thanks to the efforts of all the staff- especially Eddie, Leah, Christine, and Nicole...and many others. Most importantly, my daughter received quality mental health counseling! She also reported great food (she's a vegetarian), that the accommodations were very good, she enjoyed activities, and that compassion and care were continual during treatment. Further, the staff kept me updated and were collaborative about her care. She is doing great now and I could not be more pleased and relieved. They were professional and personable from the intake to the completion of her program. I cannot say enough good things about them. I would and will recommend Harmony Hills to my clients and anyone needing residential care. They were a Godsend!

i am writing this review as a loved one of someone who was treated at Harmony Hill. I wish to express my deepest gratitude to Shannon who clearly cared about my daughter and our family. In my experience thus far, she stands out with her caring and thoughtful ways. My daughter has not sounded this clear headed since her addiction started. Although we don't hold any false expectations, we are very hopeful that our daughter will continue in her journey of recovery. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because of the discharge process. I hope administration reads this. Discharge plans should start on the day of admission. Planning does not start when you get a discharge date. The centers explanation for last minute planning is that they don't start looking for availability until they have a d/c date. While i understand this, a list should be compiled of options before d/c that are within ones ins network to allow us time to make the best decision as not all sober living is equal.

First of all, HH was a great facility. If you genuinely WANT to help yourself and stay sober/clean, you’ll appreciate every single quality that this center has to offer. 1. The staff is amazing. My therapist was Shannon and she was a real person. She treated me not as an alcoholic but acted a mentor through my journey. Eric was the best therapist I’ve ever worked with. He challenged me and made me face issues that I didn’t plan on addressing in treatment. 2. The facility itself was BEAUTIFUL. It was quiet, serene and simply looked like a ranch in the middle of nowhere. The IDEAL atmosphere to focus on yourself and your recovery. 3. The ‘cottages’ or residences were new, CLEAN and felt more like a hotel than a hospital. People who are complaining about this facility CLEARLY

This place absolutely saved my life. I was a complete mess the staff is very compassionate and understanding and very easy to talk to. They help me realize there's so much more to life than that stagnant position I was sitting in that horrible Rabbit Hole I was going down thank you stepping stones for being there for me and pulling me up and far away from that rabbit hole!!!

Stepping Stones was amazing. I went there for alcohol, but they treat many issues. Therapists were great and listened carefully. Great place to go and get back on a good track

Stepping Stone was an amazing place to go for treatment. My counselors name was Patrick and he was there for me whenever I needed it the most. They have really good food there too!

Its a nice facility, medical care is a little messed up but besides that its a wonderful place and campus 😊. They may change you're meds doses or just flat out not give you them a lot of people have left because of that. Shelly the clinical director can be a little passive aggressive and if you get on her bad side it can mess up most of you're stay here. Everyone else is wonderful Wades the best case manager and helped me with a lot and Matt my therapist is wonderful and has helped me work through a lot of issues. BRING BUG SPRAY!

The Refuge, specifically the therapist Deborah, has been a major blessing for me. As an 18 year old addict, I’ve been a mess from a young age. The Refuge offers a place of healing and unconditional love for any and everybody willing to do the work. This has been my third facility, and I’ve never made so much groundbreaking progress in so little time. If you are ready for sobriety and healing COME HERE!!!

This is the first time I've been in a treatment center. The faculty is outstanding, 5 star. They care. Always courteous. My favorite nurse is a lady named Toni. She just has what it takes to make my mind go somewhere else than on my problems of the day. She keeps a close eye on everything going on and the clients as they pass her station. She recognizes symptoms and actually stops me to see if I need anything to help at that moment. She's a great listener and I will miss her so much after I leave to start my new life of freedom from drugs and alcohol and my daily overall mental health. I want to thank the people of Spencer's recovery for the fine work they do morning, noon and night to keep everyone comfortable and in good spirits. I would suggest to anyone having difficulty in daily life to seek help. It's here. They are here for you. I was in the worst stage of my life I was evicted from my home in Augusta ga and my wife passed away and facing homelessness with my two elderly dogs and was ready to give up I was lost in addiction, substance abuse combat related ptsd but here I found that I had a desire to not use or drink I know now I can trust again I was definitely lost in life but now I feel a I got a fresh start a new beginning a new chapter thanks to Dr. Pauls by the sea recovery the staff were amazing The people I met, Paul had the same desire to get better and thanks to Dr. Paul he was covering I was able to obtain four months recovery and looking forward to moving on to a healthier life.
