Hello my name is Adam. I came to Reign about a month ago. I came from NJ and enrolled to the treatment center because I was struggling with some mental health symptoms that were unmanageable with life and needed assistance with getting myself back on track. The admissions team was so helpful and supportive, they were there when I was making my 22 hour drive. Jake, Benzi, Justin, and Morgan were so supportive on my drive. When I arrived at the facility and during the duration of my stay Corey the primary therapist was very friendly and welcoming. He wasn t like normal therapists where you would have your 30 min session and you re out but he gave me as much time as I needed and let me use my phone and make calls as much as I wanted to do. Then there was Brantley the operations manager and he Was just the absolute best. I developed a great friendship with him and every night we had a thing where we watch movies together. Gina was a great group facilitator and had very informative groups. Overall I had an amazing life changing experience,

I moved here from Ohio 6 ears ago from a brand new facility in Brookpark, Ohio a suburb of Cleveland. I have never had a bad experience. The facility is very modern, but the care I have experienced in Palatka VA Clinic is professional, caring and competent. I always feel like they care even when they are bombarded with numerous calls. I have never been ignored or dis missed. The staff and care is better then I have ever received in the public sector.

First of all I wish to thank all the people at St Augustine methadone treatment center, Melissa W has been a wonderful resource and a kind non judgmental person, Shanice is the best supervisor they have, I have been through 5 of them, when I started going there I saw no light at the end of the tunnel! But after sticking with the program and listening to the people and going on my journey I am back to being a normal functioning happy person! I want to thank Crystal, Cathy Deluchia, Brie at the dosing windows, Caroline the PA, and last but not least Valerie!!! You all have changed my life and I love you for it!!! I participated in the 30 day residential rehab at Epic and had an AWESOME experience. The staff and therapists are amazing - there are too many great people to mention by name. The counseling I received from our therapists was top notch, and the Epic staff as a whole made sure that I had medication, housing, and all available financial resources set up upon my exit from the program. The food was good and the daily 12 step meetings prepared me for what to expect in recovery. The only room for improvement I can think of is that it would be nice to have a fenced in outdoor area or some sort of set up where patients could be outside more. We usually got to walk for at least 30 minutes - an hour each day, but it can sometimes be depressing to be stuck inside for hours on end.I would highly recommend the detox and/or residential program to anyone who is struggling with substance dependency.

The psychiatrist that my son sees is absolutely amazing! He has done wonders for my son. The new therapist he sees is also awesome too. Both of them have been nothing short of a God send when helping with my son's problems. The reason they are not getting 5 stars is the fact his ex therapist called dcf on me saying I was physically abusing my son when I was not and that person who called and they know who it is needs to be fired for a false accusation! She also sucks when it comes to kids with autism, ODD, Adhd and IED. All she wants to do is sit and talk with your kid without you around when they are under 6 years old NOPE! That does not help at all. She needs her license taken away!

I was a resident at Lakeview for 42 days. I am an older person and was apprehensive about fitting in . There was no need to worry I was treated with respect and dignity. My alcohol addiction came later in life and a family member found Lakeview for me. I have read many reviews both positive and negative. I must say that I was cared for and cared about. I was a resident with women from all walks of life and ethnicities and I saw treatment equally across the board. When there were objections from fellow residents about treatment I was able to see both sides however , my observation was that many times there was an unwillingness on the part of the resident to completely comply to the prescribed regimen. This is not a place to go if you want to be coddled. If that s the case you may not be ready for recovery. But I can tell you I worked the program, gave myself over to the process of recovery and came out the other side. I certainly ran up against obstacles but this program taught me how to deal with them in a positive successful manner. I would personally like to recognize Karen, Kaylee, Shanna, Meredith and Suneeta to name just a few. The therapists are a great group, but it goes much deeper than that. The staff is there 24/7 and I was made to feel safe at all times through their dedication and teamwork. If you want to free yourself of addiction and are ready for a new life consider this treatment. I can tell you I didn t always agree with some protocol but this program gave me the tools to state my concerns, be heard and come to a resolution that benefitted me and stay in compliance with Lakeview s policies.

They offer LGBTQ inclusive treatment, military and first responders programs, and medication assisted treatment (MAT). They specialize in res | Treatments Programs Payment Options | From the moment I was introduced to The Refuge, I knew something powerful was about to unfold. What followed was nothing short of transformative.
I expanded my capacity to live life on life’s terms, no longer needing to cope with life, but learning how to live it fully. I discovered that boundaries aren’t just something we set with others, but something we honor within ourselves—especially when the outside world may not. I learned to accept myself not just as I was, but as I am, while creating a vision for who I want to become.
Acceptance isn’t about staying stuck or glorifying the past. It’s about understanding it—recognizing patterns, asking what they reveal, and deciding what to do with that insight. My path has not been linear. Allowing myself the time to simply be, and to be guided by professionals, was—at once—fear-inducing, frustrating, ego-challenging, and ultimately liberating.
Many treatment centers speak of recovery “tools,” but few prepare you to actually use them. The Refuge not only introduces you to these tools, but helps you uncover the motivation and build the inner drive to keep going when it’s hard.
Shelly, the Clinical Program Manager; Jessica Gomes, my therapist; Matthew Brinker, therapist; Alex Van Dyke, therapist; and Yogi Ana—all played pivotal roles in my healing. They gently (and sometimes not so gently) pushed me into the uncomfortable places where real growth happens. Just when I thought I was in over my head, they’d ask me to stand—and I’d realize the water was only waist-deep. With their support, I built resilience.
To them, I extend my deepest gratitude.
And to the community I shared space, time, and the most sacred parts of myself with—my hopes, my fears, and my love—thank you. You are forever part of my healing.
To anyone considering this journey: It may not be easy, but you will not be alone—and it will be worth it

I was hesitant when my psychiatrist HIGHLY recommended I come to The Refuge. I was at wits end - my depression and anxiety were killing me slowly. I have Complex-PTSD that desperately needed the specialized treatment that The Refuge was able to provide. Don't get me wrong - it's a LOT of work. It's go go go! But the staff GENUINELY cares, from medical (shout out to Nancy and Jessica), therapists (shout out to Nicole, Randy, and Brianna), BHAs (Kim and K), and even food (Justin). They want you to feel better and succeed. You have group therapy sessions that are informative, you have assignments and processing groups, oh, and don't forget Kelly in art therapy! I ended up extending my stay from 30 days to 45 because I needed to, to truly get the most out of it. It sounds cheesy, but I can honestly say that I think they may have saved my life. I can't recommend them highly enough.
