Embarking on the journey to sobriety is daunting—change is scary, especially when it involves reinventing your life. That’s why I’m incredibly grateful for Sober Living America (SLA) in Jacksonville, Florida. They offered me a genuine chance to rebuild my life, instilling not just confidence but also the essential life skills needed to start over. At SLA, you're treated with genuine respect and dignity. But let me be clear—this isn’t a walk in the park. Sobriety is hard work, and SLA expects you to invest effort into every aspect of your recovery. The structured curriculum includes targeted assignments to keep you mindful of the challenges you face, equipping you with the tools to navigate life responsibly, productively, and in a healthy manner. What truly sets SLA apart is their comprehensive support system. They offer assistance with finding a job, ensuring you have the guidance you need to secure employment. In addition, they provide reliable transportation to and from work, medical appointments, shopping, and more, so you can focus more on your recovery without worrying about the everyday logistics. A wonderful aspect of SLA is the community. Surrounding yourself with like-minded people—individuals who are all committed to achieving a meaningful recovery, just like you—is incredibly empowering. It’s inspiring to see everyone working together, building a stable foundation for a purpose-driven life. If you’re willing to put in the work and truly commit to a life of sobriety, I can’t recommend Sober Living America in Jacksonville enough. It’s a transformative experience—one that promises respect, support, and a real chance at a renewed life. Give it your all, and watch as every effort is returned with a brighter, happier, more fulfilling future. I have been coming to New Season for a week with my friend with chronic illnesses. I st patiently while my friend does what she is requested to do. The first time I entered the building, I was greeted by Kevin and Keisha. The are kind, caring and efficient with all the clients and me. Kevin's interactions with clients is impressive as he navigates their needs and concerns. Keisha is equally talented. I have met my friend's counselor who thanked me for my patience. Hearthstone Fellowship Foundation, founded in Daytona Beach, Florida, is a licensed drug rehab providing substance abuse services to individuals needing outpatient and inpatient drug and alcohol recovery treatment. I am required by the courts to attend meetings at Hearthstone Fellowship Foundation. At first I was angry and felt like I was being milked by the state and county. After three or four meetings my sentiments began to change and my addiction had become more and more obvious to me. As I began to accept my predicament, I nolonger was able to blame others or act as if it was all in their heads. Now several moths into the treatment offered by Hearthstone, I have opened up and started to change the destructive patterns dominating my life. I finally feel like I might stand a chance at real recovery. None of this would of been possible without the guidance of one person, Gail Wall, M.S. She has went out of her way to help me even when no one else would listen or believe that I was trying. I've been plagued with many health problems and my attendance was very challenging but she trusted in what I had to say and gave me the helping hand that has led me to welcome Recovery for the first time in my 30 year descent into chemical dependency. Thank you Gail. You are literally the best!!!

Hearthstone has some truly amazing people who it’s obvious that their work means a lot to them. They truly truly want to help people who want it and allow people who need help to leverage them. They have guided me and continue to, and keep it 💯 % upfront and transparent and sincere when it comes to what is expected. If there is a perfect combination of professional but also on a personal level, they nail it. It may not be their official motto or formal bottom line but they definitely exude a “we will help you when you don’t know how to help yourself type mentality; just Keep showing up, stay honest and leverage us and we can help you get to clear horizons! Special thanks and acknowledgments to Miss Gail and Janet! Miss Gail who runs groups that always have a focus but can be enjoyed and engaged in. She created a safe space for me come and talk, engaged and learn, and be myself , be the flawed human I am. I should also mention her genuine interest in my life and progress as a person not just a counselor who checks off a progress sheet. Miss Janet who has provided wise and judgement free counsel, in addition took the time out of her day without any notice to sit and talk with me for however long I needed when I lost my brother to an overdose January 11th of this year. Her insight and perspective were not only helpful (understatement) but gave me a deeper understanding and peace. I have so much gratitude for this very special place. I can’t say enough.. but think I already have! Thank you!

I'm writing this review because me and my family have received an amazing gift Having recently moved to Interlochen with my four children from the devistation of pinnellas county it was a welcome journey to say the least. One of the things to be done was to get a new doctor and supporting staff with the VA in Palatka Florida. Physical, blood work and refills for my blood pressure. Meeting Tamara was the amazing gift. She navigated me smoothly thru the whole " new person in town " process. There was also an income update form which made me nervous being retired. I also felt like Tamara absolutely cared for me. I really need my benefits and with the increases in everything the SERVICE AND HONOR that people like Tamara show us veterans are more precious than any materialistic thing. God bless and protect you and your families every one. In behalf of all us veterans we thank you Tamara. Sincerely, Richard
