Our loved one has now moved on to a sober-living home in another state for career-related reasons. I was in great need of help for depression when I found 5 Palms in Ormond Beach, FL. I completed their 28-day program last month. Promises 5 Palms was absolutely amazing! The people the community fabulous! Let me say I was very nervous to go to rehab a facility whatever you want to call it. Once I was there the positive energy ran through. I felt comfortable with all the staff as well as the other clients. They help you through anything that comes up. All you need to do is ask. I was so amazed with Promises! I would recommend to anyone that needs help with either mental health and or drug addiction recovery. Dom saved me more than once love him!Dom is AWESOME!! Counselor Jamie is amazing!!! This is the first time I've been in a treatment center. The faculty is outstanding, 5 star. They care. Always courteous. My favorite nurse is a lady named Toni. She just has what it takes to make my mind go somewhere else than on my problems of the day. She keeps a close eye on everything going on and the clients as they pass her station. She recognizes symptoms and actually stops me to see if I need anything to help at that moment. She's a great listener and I will miss her so much after I leave to start my new life of freedom from drugs and alcohol and my daily overall mental health. I want to thank the people of Spencer's recovery for the fine work they do morning, noon and night to keep everyone comfortable and in good spirits. I was in the worst stage of my life I was evicted from my home in Augusta ga and my wife passed away and facing homelessness with my two elderly dogs and was ready to give up I was lost in addiction, substance abuse combat related ptsd but here I found that I had a desire to not use or drink I know now I can trust again I was definitely lost in life but now I feel a I got a fresh start a new beginning a new chapter thanks to Dr. Pauls by the sea recovery the staff were amazing The people I met, Paul had the same desire to get better and thanks to Dr. Paul he was covering I was able to obtain four months recovery and looking forward to moving on to a healthier life. I have been a client for over 7 years in St Augustine. I would like to thank the staff, they do the best job they can considering the amount of turnovers with Directors, and always being understaffed. Kathy, has hung in there and has always had my back. It's unfortunate that the Corporate office, does not appreciate the fact, that the few employees they have working for them are hard working, dedicated, and give 110% to make sure clients are treated with the utmost care. I came to Recovery Keys via a referral from the lead detox physician at the University of Florida. At that point, I was unable to even drive. My main addiction was alcohol. The program I entered into takes a three hundred sixty degree approach to the treatment alcohol and drug addiction. They use a complete approach, under the direction of physicians and addictionologists. Early on, I was not the easiest, most cooperative patient. As time went on, and with a great amount of patience and encouragement, I made substantial progress in controlling my addiction and actually understanding the root causes in order to carve out a new life. Around me I saw amazing progress among the other patients. The amount of knowledge, patience and caring at this facility is incredible. I am getting my life back and cannot express my gratitude enough to do justice to the program and all of those involved. Thank you.

So anyone who needs help and wants sobriety I highly recommend Beaches Recovery. Chris Colcord is truly an angel and the staff at Tides, Mike, Lindsay, Celeste..my counselor Matt! Absolutely amazing team there. And then when you move over to Beaches, Elizabeth is the best therapist, constantly advocating and fighting for us..and the house techs Jennifer, Dawn and Sydney truly care and help with any and all that you need. I could never thank them all enough for everything and being apart of my journey in sobriety. I will forever be thankful. This is just a quick review to convey our sincere appreciation for Tyler and how helpful he was during our child’s time at Harmony Hills. The whole team was great, but we are highlighting Tyler because we interfaced the most with him and he really did go above and beyond.
Needless to say, this was all a pretty terrifying experience. We spoke with Tyler before we even were considering sending our child to Harmony Hills. Tyler took the time out of his day to speak with us because of his passion for helping people heal from their mental health issues. So he took the time to speak with us when we were in crisis mode and didn’t know where to turn.
As luck would have it, we realized Harmony Hills would indeed be the best place for our child. And so from that moment, he literally held our hand through the process. Was always incredibly gracious with his time, and we felt his true passion and desire to help us. We felt heard and acknowledged. And he made us feel more safe. Which is more than we could’ve asked.
Our child was at Harmony Hills for a month and we did see some great improvements for which we thank the entire team.
Often times, people take the time to post reviews when they’re unhappy with something. This is one of those times when we’re taking the time because of the amazing job that Tyler did. And how important it is to recognize high-quality team members. He’s a keeper.

I am a counselor and recently a person I know had an unexpected mental health crisis. I am experienced in mental health and what to look for and Harmony Hills provided excellent care to her! Most importantly, she received quality mental health care! She also reported great food, accommodations, enjoyable activities, and overall compassion and care. The staff, especially Eddie, Leah, Christine, and Nicole were collaborative and were professional and personable throughout the intake to her completion of the program. I am happy and relieved that she has recovered well and can't say enough good things about Harmony Hills. I would and will recommend them to my clients and anyone who needs residential treatment. They were a Godsend!

Tech Jen saved my life, but she probably doesn’t know that. I came in lacking basic hygiene necessities. She made sure I got deodorant and toothpaste. I dropped my sunglasses and they broke. So I’m hoping this is my last treatment center. Tides gave me what I needed when I needed it. I initially thought after 9 days I’d go home. As we do I thought that would be enough. The staff was smart and let me decide and gently pushed me in the direction of staying longer. I ended up doing 21 days but had planned to stay for 28. Unfortunately my insurance said it wasn’t medically necessary to stay past 21 days. The group sessions at the detox part of tides were good I really liked my counselor. When/if you go to the other tides which is a lower level of care that’s when the more intensive therapy starts. I think this is perhaps a unique approach when we first arrive in treatment we dont necessarily need to be thrust into deep therapy conversations were more than likely detoxing and need to heal more than anything. The reason why it’s 4 stars and not 5 is cause of the food. Some of my meals weren’t even edible. They cater them in and they really are mostly bad. You won’t starve I did find other options for me but just would’ve been better if the food wasn’t so bad. Either way we find something to get a resentment at and it really just takes one resentment to justify leaving early so I tried to be conscious aware of that. I truly appreciate everyone I came into contact with at tides from the staff to the clients and again I plan on this being my last treatment center but that will only happen if I remember that I just gotta stay sober for today.
