New Season - Daytona Methadone Treatment Center FL 32114

About New Season Treatment Center – Daytona

In the beachside community of Daytona Beach, Florida is the New Seasons Treatment Center. This is an opioid addiction recovery treatment center that works with men and women who are ready to start recovery from their opioid use struggles.

While the care here is offered in an outpatient setting, they can provide medically supervised detox so that you can start your recovery safely. Once your body has reached a point of stabilization, medication assisted treatment is usually the next step to help you manage ongoing withdrawal symptoms and cravings.

FDA approved medications that are available here include methadone, buprenorphine and Suboxone. You’re simply not swapping out medication use from one form (your opioid dependency) to another. Instead, these FDA approved medications are recognized as having effective influences on helping individuals achieve and maintain their sobriety.

As a national leader in opioid addiction recovery, the framework here at New Seasons Treatment Center is one that recognizes clinical approaches to care are most effective when supplemented by therapeutic approaches. This might include counseling and cognitive therapies to help reframe your thinking.

It’s this type of approach that allows individuals seeking care here to find success in their journey to recovery. It’s also the reason why New Season is recognized as being more than just a traditional methadone clinic.

It also doesn’t hurt that you’ll be receiving care and one of the most beautiful and highly sought-after communities in the central Florida coast. Known for its white sandy beaches, beachfront national parks and incredible outdoor and family amenities, Daytona Beach is a thriving community. It’s a perfect community to set down roots as you start your journey to recovery.

I have been.going to the clinic for awhile and have had a serious problem for over 40 years I finaly came to n.s. with my son after the death of my husband and brother (who was also going to the clinic) in the same week. Then 3mlater my 1st husband died and my best friend of after 9 months of being sober It hasn't been a easy rd my first counselor was Carlton who was able to help me get off of most everything then he quit and I bounced around from councilor to councilor I started going to steavans groups and felt a connection and I keep asking for him to be my. Councilor but he had a heavy load he told me just keep asking finally the gave me to Steven I was. Blessed and so happy we struggled and I managed to get my self cleaned for the first time in my life yes I slipped but he kept telling me I owed him something and I had good attention on it but him being let go was about the most stupid thing.thos place has done he had a following of the same people who went to his groups we talked and did things to help us not just coler (seriously what's that)I need more help then collecting or listening to music.we want and need Steven BACK I. Am not the type to go and write things like this but in this case I am because you just made a decision that will change my life and others like. Me I feel lost and hurt like losing one of my family

Let me first say this. Yes, I have been a patient for several years. The medication does have a not so favorable reputation. It has helped me more than I can say. I wish more people would take it serious. For the ones who are serious and clean, TREAT US BETTER!!!! This place could be SOUCH better. IT NEVER CHANGES! However, they had some amazing nurses like Jessica, she is awesome. Jason, Steve and Kevin are great counselors. Roberta was good. I think she is gone now. My main complaint is not being able to sign in until my drug test is complete. So while I wait for 30 to 60 minutes in the drug test line , people coming in after me are allowed to sign in for their turn. This isn't right!!!! The higher ups say it's because people skip their drug tests but this isn't true! Nurses have told me to go do my drug test before even seeing me. A few times I've had to go get a note from my counselor confirming it was completed before the nurse would even speak to me again! My other complaint is When it's my turn to go see the nurse, I am pushed back over and over because the nurses don't want to take the time to dispense all my bottles. Why do I have to be punished for doing the "right thing"? That's what it feels like. I've been here longer than 99% of the staff. I appreciate the fact I have my life under control. BUT STOP PUSHING ME BACK IN LINE! CHANGE YOUR BOTTLE OR WHATEVER! HOW WOULD YOU FEEL TO WAIT FOREVER JUST TO KEEP GETTING PUSHED BACK IN LINE? ITS BAD ENOUGH I CANT EVEN SIGN IN UNTIL I WAIT 30 TO AN HOUR TO DO A DRUG TEST! I AM TRYING TO MAINTAIN A NORMAL LIFE! Also stop being so nasty to patients who are nice. One time I tried explaining to a nurse why I was upset, another nurse beside her rolled her eyes at me and actually mimicked me like a little child. Some of us do have jobs and get wrote up for being 2 hours late. Also, I love how New Seasons responds to only positive reviews. I did see one they responded to. You want to know how the clinic is? Speak to the ones who have came there for years while remaining clean. I've seen and heard so many drug deals going down in the waiting areas. People advertising their Xanax bars, meth and even heroin once. I've seen 2 zombies in the waiting area. One guy couldn't even setup because he was so out of it. And I don't think it was the medication that does it. We should have a way to let staff know in cases such as this. Taking benzos with methadone can be deadly. One guy outside was seriously bent over almost touching his toes while sleeping.

Other Forms of Payment

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Medicare is a federal program that provides health insurance for those 65 and older. It also serves people under 65 with chronic and disabling health challenges. To use Medicare for addiction treatment you need to find a program that accepts Medicare and is in network with your plan. Out of pocket costs and preauthorization requirements vary, so always check with your provider.

Medicaid is a state based program that helps lower-income individuals and families pay for healthcare. Medicaid covers addiction treatment so those enrolled can use their coverage to pay for rehab. When a program accepts Medicaid the client often pays very little or nothing out of their own pocket.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

inpatient iconInpatient

Clients typically choose inpatient rehab when they are in early recovery or are experiencing a crisis that puts them at an increased risk of relapse. They reside at the treatment center for the length of their program, which may range from two weeks to more than 18 months, depending on the program design. Intensive psychotherapy is often the primary treatment modality, but clients in inpatient care may also receive holistic treatment and recovery-focused life skills training.

outpatient iconOutpatient

Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.

medically-assisted-detox iconMedically Assisted Detox

Drug and alcohol addiction often takes a heavy toll on one's body. Over time, a physical dependence can develop, meaning the body physiologically needs the substance to function. Detox is the process of removing drugs and/or alcohol from the body, a process that can be lethal if mismanaged. Medical detox is done by licensed medical professionals who monitor vital signs and keep you safe, healthy, and as comfortable as possible as you go through detox and withdrawal.

Treatments

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

Drug rehab in Florida provides quality treatment to help individuals overcome dependency related to a wide range of addictive substances. Programs address both the physical and mental aspects of addiction in order to help you make a full recovery.

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

Substance rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from substance abuse, including alcohol and drug addiction (both illegal and prescription drugs). They often include the opportunity to engage in both individual as well as group therapy.

Programs

adult-program thumbnail image

Adult Program

Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.
young-adult-program thumbnail image

Young Adult Program

Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.

Clinical Services

Research clearly demonstrates that recovery is far more successful and sustainable when loved ones like family members participate in rehab and substance abuse treatment. Genetic factors may be at play when it comes to drug and alcohol addiction, as well as mental health issues. Family dynamics often play a critical role in addiction triggers, and if properly educated, family members can be a strong source of support when it comes to rehabilitation.

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

I have been coming to New Season for a week with my friend with chronic illnesses. I st patiently while my friend does what she is requested to do. The first time I entered the building, I was greeted by Kevin and Keisha. The are kind, caring and efficient with all the clients and me. Kevin's interactions with clients is impressive as he navigates their needs and concerns. Keisha is equally talented. I have met my friend's counselor who thanked me for my patience. Everyone of the staff are upbeat which is what is needed in this environment. Capable people caring for those who are in need.
