Thank you again William Rockwell 1 month ago Deciding stars on this was so hard because everyone has different expectations. I can only speak for the voluntary intensive outpatient program (IOP). It's difficult to communicate with the right person over the phone to get questions answered which was frustrating. I was eventually able to schedule an intake. The woman who did that was very kind and warm but the door is locked so that can be a little intimidating, especially when you're already not feeling well. The IOP is technically 3 days a week from 9 until noon. Generally Mon, Wed, Fri, but you can also go Tuesdays and Thursdays if you need to substitute. Ziggy is as wonderful as every review says she is. She's truly special. Be advised that she does not typically lead the group unless there is a day someone calls out. She runs the program but does speak to everyone individually and make a care plan with them. The days I went group was usually led by Brynna. Brynna is young but intelligent. She's very practical and professional which can sometimes come off a little chilly but she has some very valuable insight and a lot of care. You do meet with a psychiatrist once during the program. I don't remember his name but he was kind to me. We didn't have a lot to go over because I've been under care with another provider. I do have significant concerns about one of the group leaders who is mainly with children and adolescents but does lead the adult IOP group once a week or as a sub. Ms Washington was tardy, lackadaisical, disorganized, and self focused both times I encountered her. She made me hesitate on 5 stars but I did voice my concern to leadership and they took it very seriously. I changed that one day I went and had no problems after that. I urge anyone considering a program like this to understand that you'll get out what you put into it and while this was my first experience, it was overall positive and if I ever need to come back, I would choose palm point again Edited to add: the snacks and treats are a really nice touch. It is group therapy, so be mindful of your manners, numbers seem to range from 5 up to 12 depending on the day. I have good insurance but still had a significant copay. Simply put, in a very small group of residents, led by wonderful Christ Centered men who have also experienced the same path in addiction, Shenanigans get weeded out quickly, lives are turned around and saved, and families become restored. Love is rife here though sometimes tough, and there's no place for evil. God truly lives here. You won't find a better place to go or men who care as much as Pastor Dave and Pastor Lance. Started going to the church next door just to get out of the place, to have something to do but then went back to the church years later. Back then you could still smoke and we would go to the beach on weekends and meetings daily. I still have a lot of photos that I might edit and share block out the other girls' faces. Staff was always kind and amazing and learned how to crochet and my favorite part was there was no bars in the windows. I didn't feel like I was in jail. I think most of the bad reviews this place gets come from people not knowing what to expect from an in-patient experience. My kiddo had researched beforehand, and there were only a few surprises, like the strip search, and that no medication could be administered without legal guardian's approval (another child had a seizure because no legal guardian could be located to authorize their medication). My child felt like all the staff was kind and courteous. They felt safe at all times. The other patients were also nice during the stay. It's a very regulated and calm environment in general. My child does have autism, and felt like too many of the group therapy and activities had a musical component, which is unbearable because of their sensory issues. They weren't forced to participate and could spend more time in the day room instead, but they felt they might have gotten more therapeutic benefit if there had just been more quiet activities offered. As a parent on the outside, I felt that communication was good. Visitation is very limited, but daily calls are allowed. Do not bring anything to an in-patient facility that you're not willing to lose. Some of the clothing items that I dropped off on the first day of my child's stay didn't make it to their room and were never seen again. The discharge process was smooth, with a discharge facilitator finding an in-network therapist, and sending information to the necessary doctors, etc. There were some small bumps and frustrations during the whole process, but they were not in areas of my child's safety or comfort. On the whole, we have very positive feelings about this facility. Hopefully we'll be able to stay on top of my kid's care, but if they ever need in-patient care again, we would definitely come back here. Janell Taylor 2 months ago	6 6

First the man at the front desk James is Awesome! He is the one who keeps everything in order, when he's not there it's a little crazy. There are good and not so good counselors I know this because unfortunately I've been switched to around 10 in the past 2years and who wants to keep starting over telling a new person their story, it's very frustrating. It's because the counselors keep quitting. There are a few that are great so when you find one you connect with do your best to keep them. Mr. Benny was my first and he is very helpful with resources and is now the man in charge, lol. Rosa I've talked with a couple times and is very nice. I have Christian now and I am doing great with him. I feel comfortable talking about anything and he takes his time to really listen. I only go once a month sometimes I wish I could go more often to have that release to have him to talk with but they are very busy. The Recovery Advocates Jeremiah, Mike, Drew and Ryan are incredible gentleman and help guide you thru the steps. The BHTs Thomas and Dakota are great as well. They are always there if your going thru something or just need someone to talk, to they made me feel extremely comfortable and welcomed. The nursing staff lead by Mille with John, Lisa, Carmon, Jennifer and Blaine are always there to m.ake sure your comfortable. And the Director Jason and office staff Michelle and Elena are 5 star A+++++ Overall it'd just an amazing experience. So new seasons brought me down to 20mg. I was good at 20mg- I wanted to taper down though. I tapered down at 1mg a day. I was on methadone for a month and a week or two. I was going to dose for the last time- this memorial weekend that past we're my last 3 doses for 3mg,2mg and 1mg. I didn't know that I could get prescribed comfort meds by Jim or I would of done it before the weekend because it was a long weekend. I went into the clinic and cried to Christina than told her I was struggling. She got me prescribed comfort meds that day and so did jim. I got most of the comfort meds filled except one because the pharmacy wanted to speak with Jim first. I went into the office the next day to tell jim and he handled it right away. I went into dosing voluntarily but I was admitted to do IOP. IOP, counseling and the dosing has helped me so much- the dosing is more affordable at aspire as well. The comfort meds have really helped me- if you work the program it'll work. I got good sleep through the night and definitely feel better. Deciding stars on this was so hard because everyone has different expectations. I can only speak for the voluntary intensive outpatient program (IOP). It's difficult to communicate with the right person over the phone to get questions answered which was frustrating. I was eventually able to schedule an intake. The woman who did that was very kind and warm but the door is locked so that can be a little intimidating, especially when you're already not feeling well. The IOP is technically 3 days a week from 9 until noon. Generally Mon, Wed, Fri, but you can also go Tuesdays and Thursdays if you need to substitute. Ziggy is as wonderful as every review says she is. She's truly special. Be advised that she does not typically lead the group unless there is a day someone calls out. She runs the program but does speak to everyone individually and make a care plan with them. The days I went group was usually led by Brynna. Brynna is young but intelligent. She's very practical and professional which can sometimes come off a little chilly but she has some very valuable insight and a lot of care. You do meet with a psychiatrist once during the program. I don't remember his name but he was kind to me. We didn't have a lot to go over because I've been under care with another provider. I do have significant concerns about one of the group leaders who is mainly with children and adolescents but does lead the adult IOP group once a week or as a sub. Ms Washington was tardy, lackadaisical, disorganized, and self focused both times I encountered her. She made me hesitate on 5 stars but I did voice my concern to leadership and they took it very seriously. I changed that one day I went and had no problems after that. I urge anyone considering a program like this to understand that you'll get out what you put into it and while this was my first experience, it was overall positive and if I ever need to come back, I would choose palm point again Edited to add: the snacks and treats are a really nice touch. It is group therapy, so be mindful of your manners, numbers seem to range from 5 up to 12 depending on the day. I have good insurance but still had a significant copay. Everything was extremely clean but not as hospital like as you might expect.

Highly addicted to drugs and alcohol! This program saved my life. I fought so many things a long the way simply because I was hard headed and didn’t understand at the time. Lance, Damien and pastor Dave never quit on me and never gave up on me, they helped me build the foundation in a life with Christ and how to live in the world and hold my values and beliefs even in the hardest times! A lot that they thought me through the program didn’t make sense at the time but now 5 years later, I look around and see that my Daughter made a decision on her own to come live with me full time 2 years ago and is an honors student, also I am a USCG licensed Captain, owner and full time charter captain and fishing guide, involved in the designing in skiffs and boat buildings, I am trusted by my friends and family, and someone they can be proud to have around! I went through Liberty Lodges Christian Regeneration Program back in 2017. No place else has a more well balanced solution for recovery. Simply put, in a very small group of residents, led by wonderful Christ Centered men who have also experienced the same path in addiction, Shenanigans get weeded out quickly, lives are turned around and saved, and families become restored. Love is rife here though sometimes tough, and there's no place for evil. God truly lives here. You won't find a better place to go or men who care as much as Pastor Dave and Pastor Lance. I have been speaking with Joseph who has been amazing at explaining every step and detail of the process to me as well as what to expect. The staff seems from where I am standing to be incredibly supportive and greatfor someone transitioning from the addict lifestyle to a healthy lifestyle as well as I hate the wording of that but not sure what better words to use.The facility looks cozy enough so an inpatient program would be successful for a man who wants this in his life. I spent 6 months here voluntarily, and had some of the best experiences and learned a lot of tools. Started going to the church next door just to get out of the place, to have something to do but then went back to the church years later. Back then you could still smoke and we would go to the beach on weekends and meetings daily. I still have a lot of photos that I might edit and share block out the other girls' faces. Staff was always kind and amazing and learned how to crochet and my favorite part was there was no bars in the windows. I didn't feel like I was in jail. I'm hoping they can help someone close to me right now but it's up to that person. It's non-profit so it's important to remember where you come from!!

My child had a stay here in early April, 2026, and this review is both their impressions from the inside, and mine from the outside. I think most of the bad reviews this place gets come from people not knowing what to expect from an in-patient experience. My kiddo had researched beforehand, and there were only a few surprises, like the strip search, and that no medication could be administered without legal guardian's approval (another child had a seizure because no legal guardian could be located to authorize their medication). My child felt like all the staff was kind and courteous. They felt safe at all times. The other patients were also nice during the stay. It's a very regulated and calm environment in general. My child does have autism, and felt like too many of the group therapy and activities had a musical component, which is unbearable because of their sensory issues. They weren't forced to participate and could spend more time in the day room instead, but they felt they might have gotten more therapeutic benefit if there had just been more quiet activities offered. As a parent on the outside, I felt that communication was good. Visitation is very limited, but daily calls are allowed. Do not bring anything to an in-patient facility that you're not willing to lose. Some of the clothing items that I dropped off on the first day of my child's stay didn't make it to their room and were never seen again. The discharge process was smooth, with a discharge facilitator finding an in-network therapist, and sending information to the necessary doctors, etc. There were some small bumps and frustrations during the whole process, but they were not in areas of my child's safety or comfort. On the whole, we have very positive feelings about this facility. Hopefully we'll be able to stay on top of my kid's care, but if they ever need in-patient care again, we would definitely come back here.

There are good and bad things to say. First the man at the front desk James is Awesome! He is the one who keeps everything in order, when he's not there it's a little crazy. There are good and not so good counselors I know this because unfortunately I've been switched to around 10 in the past 2years and who wants to keep starting over telling a new person their story, it's very frustrating. It's because the counselors keep quitting. There are a few that are great so when you find one you connect with do your best to keep them. Mr. Benny was my first and he is very helpful with resources and is now the man in charge, lol. Rosa I've talked with a couple times and is very nice. I have Christian now and I am doing great with him. I feel comfortable talking about anything and he takes his time to really listen. I only go once a month sometimes I wish I could go more often to have that release to have him to talk with but they are very busy. I had to wait about a month to get in but they really saved me idk what I would had done without them.

I was up staying with my family during the memorial holiday weekend. I was a guest doser. I had made prior arrangements made through my home clinic. I have been to SSRC twice in 2/25 and 3/26. After my first stay there I put together 10 months before going to the hospital and getting morphine thru the IV. When that happened I went back and graduated 2 days ago. I currently have 57 days and if I ever relapse that's where I would go again. It is solution based. We spend a significant time in the big book of Alcoholics Anonymous. It is on a beautiful piece of land. There are outings to go bowling, put put, AA speaker meetings and the Beach. The initial phone call is with a gentleman named Ira and he genuinely seems to care. The Recovery Advocates Jeremiah, Mike, Drew and Ryan are incredible gentleman and help guide you thru the steps. The BHTs Thomas and Dakota are great as well. They are always there if your going thru something or just need someone to talk, to they made me feel extremely comfortable and welcomed. The nursing staff lead by Mille with John, Lisa, Carmon, Jennifer and Blaine are always there to m.ake sure your comfortable. And the Director Jason and office staff Michelle and Elena are 5 star A+++++ Overall it'd just an amazing experience. If your struggling with alcohol or drug addiction this is hands down the best treatment center and I have been to around two dozen Trust Good...Clean House...Help Others!!!!!

I can honestly say Sunrise Detox gave me a fresh start when I needed it most. The staff treated me like a real person instead of just another patient walking through the door. The environment was clean, professional, and surprisingly comforting during a really difficult time in my life. Michelle and Mrs. Sharpe were absolute standouts. Michelle has this perfect balance of compassion and honesty — the kind of counselor who can make you laugh while also calling you out in the exact way you need. And Mrs. Sharpe genuinely cares about people. You can tell this isn’t “just a job” for her. Both of them made a huge impact on my experience and helped me feel seen, understood, and motivated to keep moving forward. Detox is never going to feel like a vacation, but Sunrise made it feel possible. The food was solid, the nurses were attentive, and the support system there is real. If you’re scared to take the first step, trust me — just go. Future you will thank you. 10/10 experience for a place you hopefully only need once. :)

I went from new seasons to this clinic, I was at 40 mg from new seasons- I was over sedated at 40 mg so they brought me down to 35 than to 30 and I was still over sedated at 30. So new seasons brought me down to 20mg. I was good at 20mg- I wanted to taper down though. I tapered down at 1mg a day. I was on methadone for a month and a week or two. I was going to dose for the last time- this memorial weekend that past we're my last 3 doses for 3mg,2mg and 1mg. I didn't know that I could get prescribed comfort meds by Jim or I would of done it before the weekend because it was a long weekend. I went into the clinic and cried to Christina than told her I was struggling. She got me prescribed comfort meds that day and so did jim. I got most of the comfort meds filled except one because the pharmacy wanted to speak with Jim first. I went into the office the next day to tell jim and he handled it right away. I went into dosing voluntarily but I was admitted to do IOP. IOP, counseling and the dosing has helped me so much- the dosing is more affordable at aspire as well. The comfort meds have really helped me- if you work the program it'll work. I got good sleep through the night and definitely feel better.

If you can endure the lengthy intake process, everything else is quick and efficient. All the staff, from the front desk to providers were on point, and informative. Yes there are some delays from time to time just from over crowding or should I say a lot of clients all at once. Worth a shot if your trying to change your life and get clean. Orlando Recovery Village has been a truly positive experience. The environment is welcoming, respectful, and judgment-free, which made it easier to open up and connect with others. The group leaders are compassionate, attentive, and genuinely care about everyone’s well-being. Being able to share experiences and hear from people facing similar challenges helped me feel less alone and more understood. Unforgettable experience. Almost all staff there when I was there to rehabilitate, was thoughtful and had their hearts in the right place. The program directors, support councilors, and all other staff members on campus made sure almost daily to check up on the youth, and building solid foundations of trust needed to have consistent progress in therapy both in session and internal. There were opportunities to further your education and if you could show responsibility and determination to better yourself, your given opportunity’s to learn more hands on life skills, like painting or how to properly write a resume and apply for a Job. While from the perspective of being rehabilitated, things can seem negative and hopeless at times. When I was there I didn’t share an positive outlook, but after deeply analyzing my experience In hindsight, this was the safest and most caring place to learn necessary coping skills to stay recovered. And I’m very thankful for all the staff members who did their job with their heart and minds in the right place. 5 stars

I was in great need of help for depression when I found 5 Palms in Ormond Beach, FL. I completed their 28-day program last month. During my voluntary stay, I gained knowledge of CBT and DBT and many skills for returning myself to a mentally balanced state of mind. With these skills, I am now able to stop my depression and related anxiety from "taking over" my thoughts and I have longer, more frequent periods of clear productive thought which have significantly improved my life. Promises 5 Palms was absolutely amazing! The people the community fabulous! Let me say I was very nervous to go to rehab a facility whatever you want to call it. Once I was there the positive energy ran through. I felt comfortable with all the staff as well as the other clients. They help you through anything that comes up. All you need to do is ask. I was so amazed with Promises! I would recommend to anyone that needs help with either mental health and or drug addiction recovery. Dom saved me more than once love him!Dom is AWESOME!! The nurse's were a huge help to me. Never talked or looked down on me, he was just a huge help! The food was great, the people were awesome. The IOP program here is amazing, would highly recommend it to anyone continuing on in their recovery journey. Lyma is an awesome therapist, in the group setting and in one on one sessions. Amy is a really helpful case manager and will answer any questions you may have and point you in the right direction of resources to help you. The men’s sober living on Concord Street is a really nice, supportive environment that’s conveniently located a two minute walk away from daily AA meetings. The house is run by Patrick and Glenda and they make sure you are well taken care of, make you aware of any and all resources available to help you get back on your feet, and really care about your success in your recovery.
