I was in great need of help for depression when I found 5 Palms in Ormond Beach, FL. I completed their 28-day program last month. During my voluntary stay, I gained knowledge of CBT and DBT and many skills for returning myself to a mentally balanced state of mind. With these skills, I am now able to stop my depression and related anxiety from "taking over" my thoughts and I have longer, more frequent periods of clear productive thought which have significantly improved my life. I was also very impressed with the professionalism of all levels of the staff and I felt safe and well cared for at a very sensitive time.

Promises 5 Palms was absolutely amazing! The people the community fabulous! Let me say I was very nervous to go to rehab a facility whatever you want to call it. Once I was there the positive energy ran through. I felt comfortable with all the staff as well as the other clients. They help you through anything that comes up. All you need to do is ask. I was so amazed with Promises! I would recommend to anyone that needs help with either mental health and or drug addiction recovery. Dom saved me more than once love him!Dom is AWESOME!! The nurse's were a huge help to me. Never talked or looked down on me, he was just a huge help! The food was great, the people were awesome. The people I have met there are wonderful I WILL have friendships 💓 forever. Promises ROCKS! WHAT A GREAT EXPERIENCE. My therapist Charles was fantastic 😊. The sense of community fabulous. My therapist Greg is awesome he really cares about his clients he also takes out time with other clients Jose also takes out a lot of time with clients Nya the kitchen manager makes sure her clients are feed well Miguel also makes sure the clients are feed well. All of the nurses take pride in there job all of the techs # Katie, Ashley, Rachel, Megann, Brittany on night shift, Shane, Jay, Mr Edwin, Easy, David and Brittany on day shift also do a amazing job. The maintenance team also does a great job, this is a great place to get your life together. The leaders of heroes mile are also doing a amazing job keeping things in order.

My 35-year-old daughter has suffered from Bipolar schizoaffective disorder, experiencing severe psychosis and mania since she was a young adult. The SMA Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU) in Volusia County has been there for her in the darkest moments of her life. The caring, supportive, and professional personnel have provided treatment, medication and psychotherapy to help her manage the manic episodes. At least once a year my daughter has experienced a severe mental health crisis episode, and every time SMA CSU has provided a safe, secure environment to help stabilize and then return home. There is no other place in Volusia County providing the services like the SMA CSU successfully provides.

5 stars is not enough to express how grateful I am for the care I received during my delivery. First delivery here at Halifax but second in my lifetime. My L&D nurse, Gina, was an absolute angel, her kindness and steady calm made all the difference during my labor and I was so grateful I birthed before she left her shift. An amazing, beautiful delivery by Dr Torres and Dr Duke. The incredible care continued in the postpartum unit, thank you to Jenn and Dani. There was another one who was amazing, but I unfortunately forgot her name because of exhaustion! They were so patient, knowledgeable, and ready to help with anything we needed. The entire nursing team went above and beyond, and I felt genuinely cared for every step of the way. There will be students, but to me I do not mind that but I understand why some would. I have never felt so light and happy after a delivery. Highly recommend this hospital for maternity care.

I went on a 4 day vacation with my grand daughters and after 24 hours of being in Florida I ended up in the hospital having my gall bladder out this is the best hospital I have ever been to and if I ever needed anything in the medical field I would for sure go back to them everyone cared about me and not the money they were wonderful thank you to the hospital for all the great care for 5 days

A very good lawyer got me out of Volusia County Jail after 41 days of incarceration and with the help of my sister got me into Stewart. After an intense 28 day 12 step program I was released. During that time I learned many things that when applied, have helped me in life without drugs and alcohol. I took their suggestions and started going to meetings, got a sponsor and and didn't use for one day at a time. One of the most applicable things I learned in Stewart was to keep e/I. I still go to meetings and am greatful beyond words to their program. I've been clean from all drugs, one of them being alcohol, for over 39 years. If I can do it one day at a time, anyone can.

Residing Hope is an amazing program because of the resources they provide financial advising, case management, therapy services, and a truly supportive staff. The Early Ducks meet 7:30 AM, 7 days a week. My home group. Great sobriety--over a hundred years on a light day, hundreds of years when crowded, typically 20-40 attendees as an "open" mtg. I HIGHLY recommend this club with daily mtgs 07:30, 10:00, noon, 2:00 PM, 4;00 PM, 6:00 PM & 8:00 PM (Friday night NA). Good people, Great sobriety!

The good out weighs the crooks in this building a few staff members really had my back when others where trying to lie on me. Hiding badges, doctors holding patients longer for insurance fraud! I was there in 2019 and in 2021. Two male staff members from 2019 where still there in 2021. I previously was a residential technician. These two gentlemen are trained professionals. They are the only ones I’ve seen in that building follow the guidelines for proper procedure and take down. Mya wasn’t there in 2021 she was an amazing staff member in 2019. I moved here from our of state so I had to start all over in finding a new Provider in psychiatry. SMA was able to keep me on the same medication because I've been on the same 3 meds for 9 years and they didn't try to change them by adding something or taking some away. I know what works best for me. They took care of everything I needed help with even outside the doctor's office. They had me in and out, helped me through the process and answered every question I had. Right after I saw the Dr I was able to get my medicine from an on-site pharmacy. Thank you so much!

I went from new seasons to this clinic, I was at 40 mg from new seasons- I was over sedated at 40 mg so they brought me down to 35 than to 30 and I was still over sedated at 30. So new seasons brought me down to 20mg. I was good at 20mg- I wanted to taper down though. I tapered down at 1mg a day. I was on methadone for a month and a week or two. I was going to dose for the last time- this memorial weekend that past we're my last 3 doses for 3mg,2mg and 1mg. I didn't know that I could get prescribed comfort meds by Jim or I would of done it before the weekend because it was a long weekend. I went into the clinic and cried to Christina than told her I was struggling. She got me prescribed comfort meds that day and so did jim. I got most of the comfort meds filled except one because the pharmacy wanted to speak with Jim first. I went into the office the next day to tell jim and he handled it right away. I went into dosing voluntarily but I was admitted to do IOP. IOP, counseling and the dosing has helped me so much- the dosing is more affordable at aspire as well. The comfort meds have really helped me- if you work the program it'll work. I got good sleep through the night and definitely feel better.

If you can endure the lengthy intake process, everything else is quick and efficient. All the staff, from the front desk to providers were on point, and informative. Yes there are some delays from time to time just from over crowding or should I say a lot of clients all at once. Worth a shot if your trying to change your life and get clean. This place was an absolute God-send and saved my life. From the very start the place with its great employees at every part of the facility were compassionate and caring and made sure that my needs were met. My initial therapist Ashlee was absolutely amazing and helped me through major life crises that were occurring at the moment between my Mental Illnesses and Alcoholism. During this time I was able to reconnect with my loving parents and become a contributing member to the family as its only child. During the outpatient process, IOP Therapy I met with Dylan Martin And Martin Hawk - Both of these extremely qualified therapists worked out some very complex issues that still remained inside of me and the outpatient setting of being at home with my parents helped solidify our family and teach them about my Mental Illnesses and Alcoholism. I highly recommend any level of care from ORC Recovery to anyone that is dealing with ANY sort of crisis at the moment - don't sit in the dark with problems, make sure to seek help and help will find you. I love Harmony Hills. If you are looking for a place to get fully recovered and finally be free of your addictions and mental health issues, you are looking in the right direction and there is hope for you. The teachers are amazing here and will teach you so much if you’re open and honest with your true self and ready and willing to hear. Your recovery depends on you here but Harmony Hills gives you the tools you need to thrive and get better. There is opportunity here if you’ll take it. It’s not luxury but the view is beautiful and everyone is so nice and welcoming always and it makes up for it. Here they realIy treat you like family. I cannot say enough good things about Mrs Amber, my therapist and Mrs Mary the teacher. You can learn a lot from them and if you have the chance to request Mrs Amber, do so. Edit: i have to say this place turned around 🙏🏼 Waited 3hrs in waiting room in excruciating pain. Never offered wheelchair when I barely could walk. When I finally got a room although the nurse was super sweet. The hospital didn't tend to my symptoms. They also took an xray of my chest told me it was healthy and I'm fine. Even through I had fever chest head and stomach pain. the only thing they gave me was for my stomach. Yesterday I felt even worse so I decided to go to another hospital recommend by a friend (oviedo er). They told me I had pneumonia and suspected covid. After they gave me meds for all my symptoms I feel way better (still very sick) then I did a few days ago please don't go here
