Staff is very friendly and kind. I’d highly recommend this place and have been a few times to different departments and everyone is so helpful, caring and attentive as well as communicative. Super grateful for them and originally became aware of the Seminole county health group through their staff showing up to non-profits through volunteer programs they work alongside, which they have quite a few of! I used their breast cancer non-profit program and was able to successfully determine that I had some lumps and can state that the breast Cancer non-profit program has been life saving and life changing. Words fail to express my gratitude or the impact of getting help, that I wouldn’t have otherwise been able to receive! Make sure to self check your breast at-least once a month!

The IOP program here is amazing, would highly recommend it to anyone continuing on in their recovery journey. Lyma is an awesome therapist, in the group setting and in one on one sessions. Amy is a really helpful case manager and will answer any questions you may have and point you in the right direction of resources to help you. The men’s sober living on Concord Street is a really nice, supportive environment that’s conveniently located a two minute walk away from daily AA meetings. The house is run by Patrick and Glenda and they make sure you are well taken care of, make you aware of any and all resources available to help you get back on your feet, and really care about your success in your recovery.

This place was an absolute God-send and saved my life. From the very start the place with its great employees at every part of the facility were compassionate and caring and made sure that my needs were met. My initial therapist Ashlee was absolutely amazing and helped me through major life crises that were occurring at the moment between my Mental Illnesses and Alcoholism. During this time I was able to reconnect with my loving parents and become a contributing member to the family as its only child. During the outpatient process, IOP Therapy I met with Dylan Martin And Martin Hawk - Both of these extremely qualified therapists worked out some very complex issues that still remained inside of me and the outpatient setting of being at home with my parents helped solidify our family and teach them about my Mental Illnesses and Alcoholism. I highly recommend any level of care from ORC Recovery to anyone that is dealing with ANY sort of crisis at the moment - don't sit in the dark with problems, make sure to seek help and help will find you. Edit: i have to say this place turned around 🙏🏼 Waited 3hrs in waiting room in excruciating pain. Never offered wheelchair when I barely could walk. When I finally got a room although the nurse was super sweet. The hospital didn't tend to my symptoms. They also took an xray of my chest told me it was healthy and I'm fine. Even through I had fever chest head and stomach pain. the only thing they gave me was for my stomach. Yesterday I felt even worse so I decided to go to another hospital recommend by a friend (oviedo er). They told me I had pneumonia and suspected covid. After they gave me meds for all my symptoms I feel way better (still very sick) then I did a few days ago please don't go here

La Amistad has saved my life. Literally. The staff are well versed in human behavior and always willing to listen. The program has turned non-serving behaviors into components to building a happier, healthy, and more fulfilling life. The facility was welcoming as were the other patients. This treatment center above all is absolutely amazing. If you need help with opioid addiction and have this rope hold you down this is where you need to be. The nurses,counseling staff all that work here and we can’t forget Miss Emma are all amazing. This facility is well run and have many different programs and except many different forms of insurance they will do whatever it takes to help. The facility and surrounding area is very clean and monitored. So if you want to start down a new path and be free of the nonsense,looking over your shoulder,and all that comes with it. My 35-year-old daughter has suffered from Bipolar schizoaffective disorder, experiencing severe psychosis and mania since she was a young adult. The SMA Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU) in Volusia County has been there for her in the darkest moments of her life. The caring, supportive, and professional personnel have provided treatment, medication and psychotherapy to help her manage the manic episodes. At least once a year my daughter has experienced a severe mental health crisis episode, and every time SMA CSU has provided a safe, secure environment to help stabilize and then return home. There is no other place in Volusia County providing the services like the SMA CSU successfully provides.

This is a fantastic organization, with dilligent workers and a mission that undoubtedly serves the community. Addiction is one of the most brutal beasts one can face off, and community support is necessary to repair the lives it feeds off of. Only by standing together can we make sure no one gets left behind. I myself found out about this through their bake sales, as they send out a pair of gentlemen to an area to offer some of their pastries. I've grown quite fond of our team, as they're always quite polite and personable- Always a pleasure, even without the treats! My household absolutely adores their cheesecakes, poundcakes, and their Palmiers cookies are my favourite- I highly recommend having them with hot tea or coffee. Flakey and sweet. Looking forward to every month, as it's a greeting and a chance at delightful, locally made sweets, with the proceeds going towards such an important mission, was a stroke of genius.
