Teen Challenge truly changed my life. I am a graduate of the program, and through it I gave my life to Jesus Christ. What I experienced there was far more than rehabilitation—it was total transformation. God used Teen Challenge as the vessel to restore my heart, renew my mind, and rebuild my future. Because of this program, my family has been restored, my purpose has been made clear, and I am living a life I never thought was possible. The staff genuinely care, the structure brings healing, and the faith-based foundation points you to lasting freedom, not just temporary change. I am forever grateful for Teen Challenge and for how God worked through this program to save and restore my life. If you or someone you love needs hope, healing, and real transformation, I cannot recommend Teen Challenge enough.

The Recovery House changed my life. I was part of this program in 2015 and just celebrated 10 years of sobriety! This is a place for you to change your life, find community and put in the work. If you are looking for a vacation this isn’t the program for you but if you are willing to face what you have been running from then you are ready! Staff is very friendly and kind. I’d highly recommend this place and have been a few times to different departments and everyone is so helpful, caring and attentive as well as communicative. Super grateful for them and originally became aware of the Seminole county health group through their staff showing up to non-profits through volunteer programs they work alongside, which they have quite a few of! I used their breast cancer non-profit program and was able to successfully determine that I had some lumps and can state that the breast Cancer non-profit program has been life saving and life changing. Words fail to express my gratitude or the impact of getting help, that I wouldn’t have otherwise been able to receive! Make sure to self check your breast at-least once a month!

I have been to SSRC twice in 2/25 and 3/26. After my first stay there I put together 10 months before going to the hospital and getting morphine thru the IV. When that happened I went back and graduated 2 days ago. I currently have 57 days and if I ever relapse that's where I would go again. It is solution based. We spend a significant time in the big book of Alcoholics Anonymous. It is on a beautiful piece of land. There are outings to go bowling, put put, AA speaker meetings and the Beach. The initial phone call is with a gentleman named Ira and he genuinely seems to care. The Recovery Advocates Jeremiah, Mike, Drew and Ryan are incredible gentleman and help guide you thru the steps. The BHTs Thomas and Dakota are great as well. They are always there if your going thru something or just need someone to talk, to they made me feel extremely comfortable and welcomed. The nursing staff lead by Mille with John, Lisa, Carmon, Jennifer and Blaine are always there to m.ake sure your comfortable. And the Director Jason and office staff Michelle and Elena are 5 star A+++++ Overall it'd just an amazing experience. If your struggling with alcohol or drug addiction this is hands down the best treatment center and I have been to around two dozen Trust Good...Clean House...Help Others!!!!!

I went from new seasons to this clinic, I was at 40 mg from new seasons- I was over sedated at 40 mg so they brought me down to 35 than to 30 and I was still over sedated at 30. So new seasons brought me down to 20mg. I was good at 20mg- I wanted to taper down though. I tapered down at 1mg a day. I was on methadone for a month and a week or two. I was going to dose for the last time- this memorial weekend that past we're my last 3 doses for 3mg,2mg and 1mg. I didn't know that I could get prescribed comfort meds by Jim or I would of done it before the weekend because it was a long weekend. I went into the clinic and cried to Christina than told her I was struggling. She got me prescribed comfort meds that day and so did jim. I got most of the comfort meds filled except one because the pharmacy wanted to speak with Jim first. I went into the office the next day to tell jim and he handled it right away. I went into dosing voluntarily but I was admitted to do IOP. IOP, counseling and the dosing has helped me so much- the dosing is more affordable at aspire as well. The comfort meds have really helped me- if you work the program it'll work. I got good sleep through the night and definitely feel better.

If you are a chronic relapser like I was, then I would urge you not to give up on hope just yet. I used to think that all addiction treatment centers were the same, but after experiencing Serenity Springs Recovery Center, nothing will ever be the same. A nationally recognized addiction treatment center, yes, but also a family, a brotherhood, a lifestyle. A message of recovery that doesn't promise a life remembering your triggers or watching out for certain people, places, and things. A word of recovery that instead promises complete freedom from addiction, passionately insisting that recovery is not supposed to be a struggle. At Serenity Springs, "Relapse is not part of Recovery," "Relapse is part of the Disease of Addiction," and by keeping a forward step in recovery, we will never relapse. I haven't relapsed since and I no longer struggle with the disease of addiction. I have RECOVERED from a hopeless state of mind and body. Thank You Serenity Springs Recovery Center!

Amy is a really helpful case manager and will answer any questions you may have and point you in the right direction of resources to help you. The men’s sober living on Concord Street is a really nice, supportive environment that’s conveniently located a two minute walk away from daily AA meetings. As a former patient at La Amistad, I can confidently say that the care and support I received exceeded my expectations. From the moment I arrived, the staff treated me with compassion, respect, and professionalism. It was clear that their primary focus was helping patients heal and succeed in their recovery journey. What stood out most was how genuinely caring the staff was. They didn't just do their jobs—they went above and beyond to make sure patients felt supported, understood, and encouraged every step of the way. The level of dedication and commitment to patient care is truly exceptional. I would especially like to recognize Corey and Becca. They were incredibly caring, compassionate, and attentive throughout my time there. Both of them consistently went above and beyond to provide support to help me with my recovery. Corey practiced mediation and breath work with us. This was something I had never done before but is now something I now use everyday. Their kindness and professionalism made a lasting impact on my experience and played an important role in my recovery. La Amistad has a team that truly cares about the people they serve, and I am grateful for the treatment and support I received. i came here back in beginning of august, it was my very first time being bakeracted so i didn’t really know what to expect but i was a bit scared. i ended up really liking this hospital for my first time, i felt pretty safe. they don’t force you to do any activities if you don’t want to although it helps them check for progress for yourself. if you wanted to rest in or nap at any time you could as well, which is what i also liked about it. i just feel like anyone struggling with mental health, shouldn’t have to be forced to do stuff if they’re not feeling it, but slowly getting into it when they’re ready. this place overall was very good to me and i appreciate them for everything

I just left Heroes’ Mile about 2 weeks ago. When I first arrived, I had no idea what to expect. I was a total wreck and knew I needed help. It didn’t take long for me to get comfortable within the facility. It has a very homely sense to it. It’s not your polished tile, institutional environment at all. Very welcoming. In regards to the staff, where to start? Everyone there is incredible. I owe my life to the professionals that keep the gears oiled in that machine. Crystal, the director, she is full of positive energy and will take time out of her schedule to talk to you if you ever need her for anything. The therapists there are amazing and the food is great. I gained some weight there. Should have used the gym more. Haha. There is a lot of places to hang out in your free time. And one feature not mentioned by Google is the animals! Peafowl, Sand Hill Cranes that will hang out around you, a pond FULL of Blue Fin Tilapia, a little gator that suns in the evening. There is so much I could go on about. I would have to list so many names. Please, if you are reading my review and you are scared or unsure of how to make this move in your life, call Heroes. If they can’t help for some reason, they WILL find something for you. They care. I won’t live long enough to ever have the time to repay all the good they did for me.

Caught myself slipping into alcoholism and checked myself in for a week detox.everything was great ! Russ on the phone helped me get registered, when I arrived I was pretty sick and the director Jose met me outside and helped calm my nerves and get me situated with the intake process. The medical staff did a wonderful job with proper medication I needed to detox safely, I had unsuccessfully tried to detox myself at home and was really sick. Never once did I feel stripped of my humanity, I was treated with dignity and respect and I did the same with the staff. Lastly the food was good, I gained almost 20 lbs that I desperately needed as I was pretty thin. Overall a 5 star plus, I highly recommend Heroes mile !

SOBERING REALITY: CORRECTING MY 1 STAR RATING. THANK YOU TO STEVEN, RON, THE NURSING STAFF &, MY NEW COUNSELOR WHO ENDURE THE GRUNTS AND GRONES OF UNGRATEFUL ADDICTS DAILY TO TRY TO PROVIDE LIGHT FOR THE ONES TRULY SEEKING CHANGE. Understanding the System After a Real Crisis The Frustration: I initially came here ranting and left a 1-star review over Dr. Bircham's policies. A new rule forced anyone missing a pickup to single-dose, punishing patients with jobs and families rather than those failing UAs. Worse, it was announced only via a random Engage app alert—no signs, no calls, no counselor notifications. I was furious and even involved legal counsel to review proper notification protocols. It felt like a dictatorship with an absent director. The Crisis: Then life happened. On Wednesday, February 11, I woke at 11:45 AM to a call that my mother in California had suffered a stroke. As I scrambled to reach family, I got a call from New Seasons reminding me of my pickup appointment the next day. That reminder hit hard: going to California meant missing my pickup and being without the medicine that has been central to my sobriety for over three years. The emotions that followed are ones only an addict could truly understand. But I was determined—my addiction would NOT cause me to fail my family. I booked a flight, jumped in my car, and drove straight to New Seasons before they closed. The Response: I found my counselor and then waited for Steven to finish his meeting. The moment I explained my situation, Steven didn't hesitate. He laid out exactly what needed to be done and started working on a solution. As he did, I realized he wasn't just helping me—he was showing a new employee how these situations should be handled. He found a clinic in California, let me complete every form he legally could, and gave me the confidence to focus on my mother, knowing my own medical situation was in capable hands. Everything went according to plan. When I returned home, I resumed treatment seamlessly. The Reflection: About a week later, I got a callback. While there, I asked Steven if I could schedule my quarterly during my next visit since I only take off work once a month. He explained that wasn't possible—company rules required it sooner. I agreed and left. Driving home, I realized something important: his insistence didn't bother me. Not even a little. Because over the past six months, Steven, Ron, and the nurses have consistently gone above and beyond to help me maintain sobriety. It finally dawned on me. What I had seen as Dr. Bircham's "dictatorship" was actually the necessary separation between administration and day-to-day operators. The rigid rules keep New Seasons compliant with federal regulations. They create a structure that prevents addicts—who by nature can be manipulative and use emotional situations to get their way—from exploiting compassion. That structure allowed Steven the flexibility to move heaven and earth for me during a genuine crisis, while also holding me accountable when it came to routine requirements. The administration handles compliance; the clinical staff handles compassion. Both are necessary. Ron and Steven are magnificent not because the system is perfect, but because they navigate its imperfections daily to give people like me a real chance at the miracle of sobriety. My final rating reflects this balance: the bureaucracy earns its frustrations, but the warriors on the front lines earn my deepest gratitude. Let me tell you how much your appreciated. Lonnie Lake

This is a wonderful, caring clinic! Steve, the director is great! He is also efficient, helpful and respectful. He has an important job and it isn't easy! All of the nurses are kind and really go out of their way to help me with whatever I need! My counselor, Nikiya Golden is great at her job. She never comes down on me and talks to me about my day to day life which lets me know she cares! She is an asset to New Seasons and I feel blessed to have her as my counselor! I really love my clinic and I don't want to leave so to anyone out there struggling with addiction, please try this New Seasons first and see how a well run clinic can change your life for the better! Also, i can't forget Andre, the manager. He is awesome just like Steve is! I have had some problems that Andre helped with in a hurry! Didn't try to push me on someone else! So make the correct decision and go to this New Seasons!

When I was suffering and struggling, my mom who’s been here 9 years ago recommended me to La Amistad. She helped me understand that La Amistad truly changed her life. Without hesitation or doubting her advice, I went for myself but also for her. When entering, I was uncertain and anxious about the unknown. “I’ve never been in this environment before so how will things go?” From the start, greeted with lovely peers who made me feel welcomed and appreciated me being there. I felt safe immediately, and thought, “Wait this can’t be too bad right?” This place makes you feel seen and heard. The schedule is organized, classes are so helpful, activities are fun, and personal time is valued. La Amistad truly saved my life. Allowed me to finally feel and be seen, showing me that i’m not alone in my struggles. I will forever be grateful for La Amistad and the tools they taught me to challenge the days when they feel impossible to move past. Thank you to the amazing staff: Sharon, Corey, Becca, Ms. V, Arleen, Sam, Alex, Kathie, Dakota, Jasmine, Sergio, Sarah, Grace, Quinn, Kelly, Philip, George, the kitchen staff, the nurses, therapists and psychiatrists. Thank you for everything. Corey, I want you to know that I truly can’t thank you enough for how much you helped me. I will forever be grateful for you and the effort and time you put in for everyone. Don’t participate on the sidelines here, you have to get involved with the program. You get the most out of what you put in. Thank you for getting my life back on track. Love, M

I was self paid, not to get emotional but this place literally saved my life Choosing La Amistad Adult Behavioral Services was a truly life-changing decision, and it is all thanks to the incredible staff and community here. Every single individual plays a part in creating a safe, healing environment. A massive shoutout to Corey, the leader of the RISE addiction recovery group. His incredibly relatable approach makes you feel seen and understood right from the jump, and the breathwork sessions he guides us through have been absolutely grounding and transformative. The warmth starts the moment you walk through the door. Becca at the front desk handles everything with the utmost patience and poise, making what can be an overwhelming process feel incredibly smooth. Then there is Mrs. Sharron, whose outgoing, loving personality brings so much joy and comfort into the space. The staff as a whole is unmatched. Philip brings a calming presence that instantly de-escalates anxiety and makes you feel safe. Arlene’s outgoing personality is a bright spark of energy, and Miss V, Mike, and George all contribute so much dedication, care, and heart to the daily experience. Beyond the phenomenal staff, the peers I met here made a massive impact on my journey. The conversations we had were real, raw, and completely unfiltered—no judgment, just pure connection and mutual support. If you or a loved one are looking for genuine healing, this is the place to find it.

UPDATE—— So although I had a hiccup here, after speaking to the Director I honestly feel much better! I now find myself considering that my perception of someone’s attitude doesn’t necessarily mean that’s how they feel towards me. So I’m going to give that person the benefit of the doubt, because we all deserve second chances, and after speaking to the Director , I see that he is willing to talk about any issues that I, as a Patient, am having and strives to ensure that “we” (as Patients) can go to a safe and healthy treatment center where we feel accepted and cared for during our time here. The Counselors here are BOMB! Especially Mauricio and Peaches! Ms Emma is so sweet and from day one has always looked out for me. ALL of The Nurses are always polite and make it a pt to ask about how I and/or my family is doing! Thank you Director, for caring for me during this time and be willing to clear up any issues or misunderstandings that may be had. This place isn’t a generic methadone clinic, they actually care about there Patients!

I first started at a different clinic & can some one please tell me how a clinic with 8 different dosing windows & 8 nurses & it would literally take a min. Of 2 hours of standing in line to check in & then standing in another line to get dosed & my own counselor after 6 months there still couldn't remember my name, but yet I start coming here where there is only 2 windows & often only 1 window open cause there's only 1 nurse (the wonderful Mrs. Carolyn) & on average I am checked in, dosed, & out the door within 15 minutes & not only does the nurse remember my name, but so does my counselor & half the other counselor's there as well. I have never had a problem or issues with anyone here & really appreciate how much everyone here is so supportive & encouraging. Everytime I come in at least one or more employees make sure they tell me how good I look or how proud they are of me for turning my life around & that really means a lot to me & helps keep me motivated to keep doing good & I can honestly say that I would not be here clean, working, & with my kids & family again without this place & the amazingly supportive & caring staff. I really can't say enough great things about everyone there. I truly appreciate you all & can't thank you enough for helping me turn my life around. It feels really good to be clean & not homeless anymore. Again Thank you all from the bottom of my heart. I'll see you guys Thursday morning! #12056 ** update 3/13/26 I have recently stopped going to the clinic & as happy as I am to finally be off the methadone, I am gonna miss the employees here. Maurico is hands down the best counselor I could have ever hoped to have help me on my road to recovery & the nurses that took care of me there were always so friendly & NEVER made me feel judged or like I was just some junkie looking for a fix & Mrs Emma has always been so sweet & kind & has helped me tremendously! I wouldn't be here where I am today without all their help! Thank you so much OTC for helping me get my life back! ❤️

Getting an appointment here was super easy. I made calls to mental health agencies before and I've always had to wait a week or two or three. Got an appointment to see a therapist in one day and I'm going to be seeing the psychiatrist the following day.... Pretty outstanding considering I was in pretty rough shape
