I severed at total freedom for many year. I know I'm still alive today because of this program and Ministry I learned how to have a personal relationship with god through Christ Jesus. Though my walk has not been perfect my road has been paved with His grace and I can say that because of this place my life is different. I still deal with daily fights but at least I'm in the fight no longer a casualty of the war. Though this place is not easy it's solid, it's real, and it's truth.!!!

I can honestly say Sunrise Detox gave me a fresh start when I needed it most. The staff treated me like a real person instead of just another patient walking through the door. The environment was clean, professional, and surprisingly comforting during a really difficult time in my life.
Michelle and Mrs. Sharpe were absolute standouts. Michelle has this perfect balance of compassion and honesty — the kind of counselor who can make you laugh while also calling you out in the exact way you need. And Mrs. Sharpe genuinely cares about people. You can tell this isn’t “just a job” for her. Both of them made a huge impact on my experience and helped me feel seen, understood, and motivated to keep moving forward.
Detox is never going to feel like a vacation, but Sunrise made it feel possible. The food was solid, the nurses were attentive, and the support system there is real. If you’re scared to take the first step, trust me — just go. Future you will thank you.
10/10 experience for a place you hopefully only need once. :)

So new seasons brought me down to 20mg. I was good at 20mg- I wanted to taper down though. I tapered down at 1mg a day. I was on methadone for a month and a week or two. I was going to dose for the last time- this memorial weekend that past we're my last 3 doses for 3mg,2mg and 1mg. I didn't know that I could get prescribed comfort meds by Jim or I would of done it before the weekend because it was a long weekend. I went into the clinic and cried to Christina than told her I was struggling. She got me prescribed comfort meds that day and so did jim. I got most of the comfort meds filled except one because the pharmacy wanted to speak with Jim first. I went into the office the next day to tell jim and he handled it right away. I went into dosing voluntarily but I was admitted to do IOP. IOP, counseling and the dosing has helped me so much- the dosing is more affordable at aspire as well. The comfort meds have really helped me- if you work the program it'll work. I got good sleep through the night and definitely feel better.

If you can endure the lengthy intake process, everything else is quick and efficient. All the staff, from the front desk to providers were on point, and informative. Yes there are some delays from time to time just from over crowding or should I say a lot of clients all at once. Worth a shot if your trying to change your life and get clean. Unforgettable experience.
Almost all staff there when I was there to rehabilitate, was thoughtful and had their hearts in the right place.
The program directors, support councilors, and all other staff members on campus made sure almost daily to check up on the youth, and building solid foundations of trust needed to have consistent progress in therapy both in session and internal.
There were opportunities to further your education and if you could show responsibility and determination to better yourself, your given opportunity’s to learn more hands on life skills, like painting or how to properly write a resume and apply for a Job.
While from the perspective of being rehabilitated, things can seem negative and hopeless at times. When I was there I didn’t share an positive outlook, but after deeply analyzing my experience In hindsight, this was the safest and most caring place to learn necessary coping skills to stay recovered.
And I’m very thankful for all the staff members who did their job with their heart and minds in the right place. 5 stars

It's an interesting building easy to get lost in . The first floor especially where the pharmacy is looks like a dungeon, the small cafeteria is a bit run down I'll give it four star is for not having mashed potatoes in the menu to accompany fried chicken. There is only one size cup for coffee which is sad . The sitting arrangements are adequate. The sushi , ohh the sushi please take it off the menu , because I am not sure what I was eating ! I cannot express enough gratitude for the incredible support and guidance I received from Pamela over the past several years. When I first began my journey with her, I was struggling with deep trauma from loss and grief, as well as the complexities of addiction. I felt lost and overwhelmed, unsure of how to move forward.
From our very first session, Pamela created a safe and nurturing environment that allowed me to explore my feelings and experiences without judgment. Her compassionate approach and deep understanding of human emotions helped me confront painful memories and begin to heal. With her expert guidance, I learned to let go of the burdens of my past and develop healthier coping mechanisms.
Pamela equipped me with tools and insights that transformed my perspective on life and pain. She taught me that it's possible to rebuild and move forward, no matter how heavy the past may feel. Thanks to her support, I have emerged as a completely different person—stronger, more resilient, and ready to embrace life.
I’m thrilled to share that I have started a new chapter with a loving partner and am in the process of building a new home. I truly feel like I am putting my life back together, and I owe a significant part of this transformation to Pamela.
If you are navigating your own pain and suffering, I wholeheartedly recommend Pamela Hand. Her wisdom, empathy, and dedication to her clients are unparalleled. She has the power to help you find the light at the end of the tunnel and guide you toward a fulfilling life.
Thank you, Pamela, for everything you have done for me!

SOBERING REALITY: CORRECTING MY 1 STAR RATING.
THANK YOU TO STEVEN, RON, THE NURSING STAFF &, MY NEW COUNSELOR WHO ENDURE THE GRUNTS AND GRONES OF UNGRATEFUL ADDICTS DAILY TO TRY TO PROVIDE LIGHT FOR THE ONES TRULY SEEKING CHANGE.
Understanding the System After a Real Crisis
The Frustration:
I initially came here ranting and left a 1-star review over Dr. Bircham's policies. A new rule forced anyone missing a pickup to single-dose, punishing patients with jobs and families rather than those failing UAs. Worse, it was announced only via a random Engage app alert—no signs, no calls, no counselor notifications. I was furious and even involved legal counsel to review proper notification protocols. It felt like a dictatorship with an absent director.
The Crisis:
Then life happened. On Wednesday, February 11, I woke at 11:45 AM to a call that my mother in California had suffered a stroke. As I scrambled to reach family, I got a call from New Seasons reminding me of my pickup appointment the next day. That reminder hit hard: going to California meant missing my pickup and being without the medicine that has been central to my sobriety for over three years.
The emotions that followed are ones only an addict could truly understand. But I was determined—my addiction would NOT cause me to fail my family. I booked a flight, jumped in my car, and drove straight to New Seasons before they closed.
The Response:
I found my counselor and then waited for Steven to finish his meeting. The moment I explained my situation, Steven didn't hesitate. He laid out exactly what needed to be done and started working on a solution. As he did, I realized he wasn't just helping me—he was showing a new employee how these situations should be handled. He found a clinic in California, let me complete every form he legally could, and gave me the confidence to focus on my mother, knowing my own medical situation was in capable hands.
Everything went according to plan. When I returned home, I resumed treatment seamlessly.
The Reflection:
About a week later, I got a callback. While there, I asked Steven if I could schedule my quarterly during my next visit since I only take off work once a month. He explained that wasn't possible—company rules required it sooner. I agreed and left.
Driving home, I realized something important: his insistence didn't bother me. Not even a little. Because over the past six months, Steven, Ron, and the nurses have consistently gone above and beyond to help me maintain sobriety.
It finally dawned on me. What I had seen as Dr. Bircham's "dictatorship" was actually the necessary separation between administration and day-to-day operators. The rigid rules keep New Seasons compliant with federal regulations. They create a structure that prevents addicts—who by nature can be manipulative and use emotional situations to get their way—from exploiting compassion.
That structure allowed Steven the flexibility to move heaven and earth for me during a genuine crisis, while also holding me accountable when it came to routine requirements. The administration handles compliance; the clinical staff handles compassion. Both are necessary.
Ron and Steven are magnificent not because the system is perfect, but because they navigate its imperfections daily to give people like me a real chance at the miracle of sobriety. My final rating reflects this balance: the bureaucracy earns its frustrations, but the warriors on the front lines earn my deepest gratitude.
Let me tell you how much your appreciated.

This is a wonderful, caring clinic! Steve, the director is great! He is also efficient, helpful and respectful. He has an important job and it isn't easy! All of the nurses are kind and really go out of their way to help me with whatever I need! My counselor, Nikiya Golden is great at her job. She never comes down on me and talks to me about my day to day life which lets me know she cares! She is an asset to New Seasons and I feel blessed to have her as my counselor! I really love my clinic and I don't want to leave so to anyone out there struggling with addiction, please try this New Seasons first and see how a well run clinic can change your life for the better! Also, i can't forget Andre, the manager. He is awesome just like Steve is! I have had some problems that Andre helped with in a hurry! Didn't try to push me on someone else! So make the correct decision and go to this New Seasons!

LA Amistad Behavioral Health Ser | Treatments Programs Payment Options | When I was suffering and struggling, my mom who’s been here 9 years ago recommended me to La Amistad. She helped me understand that La Amistad truly changed her life. Without hesitation or doubting her advice, I went for myself but also for her. I was self paid, not to get emotional but this place literally saved my life Choosing La Amistad Adult Behavioral Services was a truly life-changing decision, and it is all thanks to the incredible staff and community here. Every single individual plays a part in creating a safe, healing environment.
A massive shoutout to Corey, the leader of the RISE addiction recovery group. His incredibly relatable approach makes you feel seen and understood right from the jump, and the breathwork sessions he guides us through have been absolutely grounding and transformative.
The warmth starts the moment you walk through the door. Becca at the front desk handles everything with the utmost patience and poise, making what can be an overwhelming process feel incredibly smooth. Then there is Mrs. Sharron, whose outgoing, loving personality brings so much joy and comfort into the space.
The staff as a whole is unmatched. Philip brings a calming presence that instantly de-escalates anxiety and makes you feel safe. Arlene’s outgoing personality is a bright spark of energy, and Miss V, Mike, and George all contribute so much dedication, care, and heart to the daily experience.
Beyond the phenomenal staff, the peers I met here made a massive impact on my journey. The conversations we had were real, raw, and completely unfiltered—no judgment, just pure connection and mutual support. If you or a loved one are looking for genuine healing, this is the place to find it.

UPDATE——
So although I had a hiccup here, after speaking to the Director I honestly feel much better! I now find myself considering that my perception of someone’s attitude doesn’t necessarily mean that’s how they feel towards me. So I’m going to give that person the benefit of the doubt, because we all deserve second chances, and after speaking to the Director , I see that he is willing to talk about any issues that I, as a Patient, am having and strives to ensure that “we” (as Patients) can go to a safe and healthy treatment center where we feel accepted and cared for during our time here. The Counselors here are BOMB! Especially Mauricio and Peaches! Ms Emma is so sweet and from day one has always looked out for me. ALL of The Nurses are always polite and make it a pt to ask about how I and/or my family is doing! Thank you Director, for caring for me during this time and be willing to clear up any issues or misunderstandings that may be had. This place isn’t a generic methadone clinic, they actually care about there Patients!

I first started at a different clinic & can some one please tell me how a clinic with 8 different dosing windows & 8 nurses & it would literally take a min. Of 2 hours of standing in line to check in & then standing in another line to get dosed & my own counselor after 6 months there still couldn't remember my name, but yet I start coming here where there is only 2 windows & often only 1 window open cause there's only 1 nurse (the wonderful Mrs. Carolyn) & on average I am checked in, dosed, & out the door within 15 minutes & not only does the nurse remember my name, but so does my counselor & half the other counselor's there as well. I have never had a problem or issues with anyone here & really appreciate how much everyone here is so supportive & encouraging. Everytime I come in at least one or more employees make sure they tell me how good I look or how proud they are of me for turning my life around & that really means a lot to me & helps keep me motivated to keep doing good & I can honestly say that I would not be here clean, working, & with my kids & family again without this place & the amazingly supportive & caring staff. I really can't say enough great things about everyone there. I truly appreciate you all & can't thank you enough for helping me turn my life around. It feels really good to be clean & not homeless anymore. Again Thank you all from the bottom of my heart. I'll see you guys Thursday morning! #12056

I have recently stopped going to the clinic & as happy as I am to finally be off the methadone, I am gonna miss the employees here. Maurico is hands down the best counselor I could have ever hoped to have help me on my road to recovery & the nurses that took care of me there were always so friendly & NEVER made me feel judged or like I was just some junkie looking for a fix & Mrs Emma has always been so sweet & kind & has helped me tremendously! I wouldn't be here where I am today without all their help! Thank you so much OTC for helping me get my life back! ❤️

Getting an appointment here was super easy. I made calls to mental health agencies before and I've always had to wait a week or two or three. Got an appointment to see a therapist in one day and I'm going to be seeing the psychiatrist the following day.... Pretty outstanding considering I was in pretty rough shape
