I recently saw Dr. Oliva and her staff and I've seen a lot of Doctors over the years but very few have been as awesome as this. Virgina, the Doctors Program Director has been extremely helpful with many diffrent obsticals and she has gone above and beyond to help with everything. She even helped me out during Thanksgiving while she was with her family on the road. Dr. Oliva has been extremly helpful and isn't just there to call the shots but she listens and wants to hear you out and make sure you're happy with you're quality of care. I have nothing but respect and good things to say about Perspectives and staff. My situation was a little diffrent than most but regardless these people care about you!

I don’t have enough words to express how much The Refuge has helped me. After frequenting through over a dozen mental health treatment centers and rehabs, there are only two I would recommend to someone I cared about (or anyone in general). One of those two is The Refuge. I was met there with so much kindness, care and consideration of my wants and needs by every single one of the BHA’s (behavioral health associates) and every one of the Clinical Staff. My personal team consisted of Ellen Mendez, case manager and Caitlin Downer, therapist, and couldn’t have gotten luckier with them. Although Caitlin is leaving the facility because of her physical move, there isn’t one therapist there I have a bad thing to say about and that doesn’t put their all into each clients treatment. Shelley, the clinical director does a great job at managing the program and creating ideal schedules for the clients. She is necessarily stern in order to keep everyone (facilitators included) and the program in check, but cares immensely for all her clients. Everyone there made me feel comfortable and cared for. I could not be happier with my experience there and am forever grateful to The Refuge for all the help I received.

Go to new season and I know it'll be the best thing you ever did they just continue to get better the new stuff is awesome The new coordinator He's on top of everything and my new counselor Melanie she just rocks it I don't know how I don't know how she has so much care for her patients and will work so hard for them and I like my last counselor but I've not seen this kind of devotion in a counselor besides Julio which I've discovered to be tremendously a helpful person in my life his groups just make you be able to get through the week and there's more than one reason to go to groups you know but the reason mainly is to stay clean and get clean and I called it a life changer now it's a game changer because it's completely changed the way I play my game and I get scared of change of new stuff but new seasons they've got it covered because they hire good people so no matter who you get you're in good hands. I urge people who are trying to decide to go or not and have that scale tipping just tip it on in all you got to do is just take that baby step and then the next baby step after that and then it won't be so hard I just don't want to hear any more about these deaths or families lives being ruined it's it's sad and it took me a long time to see it from the other side it's new season who got me to the other side Melanie she rocks it and Mr Tim he seems very on top of it very professional like I said I just do put this on here because I hope if anybody's facing their recovery on the reviews do it you know do it for you and do it at new season even if you don't get Melanie all the other counselors are good Julio I know he's an excellent counselor I know all of the counselors are great people

I don't know why people go to places like this when you can go to Dr bellum in dunnellon Florida and get a script of Suboxone total pay maybe $250 for the month for 30 pills that you can literally take a quarter a day so one month last 4 months I heard it's like 20 a day for methadone that doesn't even last 24 hours and you're not getting drug tested every damn day and you're not being treated like a junky

2023 is gone! And now I can go into 2024 with a new attitude and a new life mostly thankful for Perspectives 2. I made some dumb decisions last year that I ended up paying the price for. I consider myself smart and well educated but when alcohol does your thinking its a games changer. I ended up in jail with a DUI and court ordered treatment. The blessing in disguise was the court ordered treatement. I went 12 weeks to group thearpy at Perspectives. I was reluctant and not excited about going until I got there. All of us were in the same boat....nervous, shamed, scared about facing the consequences of our poor decisions. Perspectives group sessions were awesome and extremely helpful. They gave you practical suggestions to help with your addictions and how to deal with the pain you caused others and yourself. The staff that ran these sessions were incredible mainly because they truly cared! It was not a job to them but they had compassion for what your were going through in fact most of them faced similiar situations. I "had" to go to these treatments but would easily have volunterred to go after seeing what they had to offer. Great discussions with a staff that emplified compassion to every one in the class. When you know you messed up and are already down on yourself it is comforting to know folks at Perspectives 2 was there to listen, suggest and most of all show they really cared about your well being and getting you on the right track. They continue to follow up with me a year later! Jamie is awesome in her care and concern....Kudos to her and her staff. Thank you Perspectives 2 for showing honest concern and compassion!

This place is wonderful, they were treating pregnant woman back 2015 when myself an others felt we had no hope, NO ONE would touch us. They live & breathe recovery. They're local to the area, An yes a smaller office but don't lack in the resources to help you and the actual drive to do so! An if Dr.Logan doesn't have a book out by now...he should consider doing so! He's one of the most knowledgeable in the state regarding M.A.T-Outpatient Treatment. They accept most insurances (yes, including Medicaid) So don't wait till tmro (again) like I did. Call them!

I was referred to Pamela a couple of weeks after my wife of 33 years passed away unexpectedly in January of this year. Pamela was a Godsend. She was vital in helping me to navigate the grieving process by going through-not around or avoiding it. I don’t leave reviews. Like ever. So that’s indicative of how overwhelmingly grateful I am for my time at The Guest House. I arrived a shell of myself - scared, sick, lost, and completely worn down. I initially had the intention of only staying for 30 days - if even that. Once I dove into the work it became apparent that in that time I’d only be scratching the surface. I ended up staying the full 90. The staff and community loved me back to life. I have never felt so safe, accepted and worthy. The therapists are incredible. The staff are so warm and kind and supportive. It’s been almost a year since leaving and I miss being there so much. I would send a loved one that was struggling there in a heartbeat. There is nowhere like the Guest House. They will help you find yourself again, rediscover the pieces of yourself you lost along the way - what seemed to be your weaknesses will be revealed as strengths. AND you’ll make friends for life! If you’re thinking about it - just go. It will be the greatest gift you ever give yourself.

The Guest House is a very special place. They really know what they are doing when it comes to treating trauma. The entire staff is excellent, very caring. Medical staff were wonderful and so helpful. I highly recommend this place if you are struggling with addiction, alcoholism and/or trauma. This place changed my life for the better. Hospital is clean. Staff is professional. There are many groups, gym, time outside time, etc. Unfortunately when I went voluntarily from an emergency room I had an infection and two prescriptions. I was sent there in a cab from silver springs instead of an ambulance and completely forgot that I had an infection and two prescriptions which I am going to get tomorrow after 10 days. I feel better mentally though

I remember meeting the Eckerd's at their beach house. Also they had made a commercial and filmed my group and I. So many canoe, hiking trips.. memories lasting a lifetime. Update: I see the other reviews, and I cannot speak for the current situation. My daughter was at OTPR for 9 months in 2016, came home in January 2017. Was she “all better”? By no means, no! It takes time to work through the habits (suicidal and cutting). HOWEVER, my daughter is now 23. She is doing incredibly better, no bad happenings for since 2020, and even that was minor. Therapy, medication, living with other difficult kids… none of that is “the” solution. It takes time and firm continuous love and wisdom. OTPR was not perfect, but as the 7th (yes seventh) residential care situation, they did not close the door at 6 months and they believed that my daughter would get better. She’s past her teens, and she is doing awesome. 2016 - Our daughter has been at our turning point ranch for two months now, Who has regular suicidal tendencies since the age of 12. This is the first place that we've been to in four years with her that has been passionate and diligent to try to help her. Prior to OTPR, for almost 2 years she was on medicines That didn't seem to be helping her, yet the psychiatrists kept her on the drug. OTPR offered a genetic/DNA test and assessed her drug absorption based on her DNA. They found out that several drugs previously used before she came to OTPR not only doesn't work with her, but the side effects still happen! Thanks to OTPR's psychiatrist, we are starting to see improvement for our daughter. UPDATE: 9/2018 - First, this is delayed as My daughter left the facility in January 2017. However, I feel it is important to add a few small items. First OTPR didn't just cut us off after 6 months like the other 6 places did; they fought for time to get my daughter better. Further, the counselor was the only one who strategy worked - made my daughter think, dealt with confrontations. Last, yes, my daughter also complained about staff, but the staff is dealing with 6-8 "problem" teenage girls (not co-ed) every day - they have to manage exaggerations, lies, manipulations, defiance, etc. constantly. In my eyes, they did what they had to do. Firmly and consistently. Cliff
