About Perspectives

Perspectives Integrated Treatment and Sober Living in Ocala, Florida, offers outpatient addiction treatment and supportive sober housing. They help adult men and women experiencing alcohol or drug use disorders who need structured, secured housing to achieve sobriety. Their programs include aftercare and alumni care. They accept most insurance plans for payment.

They have intensive outpatient and standard outpatient programs, including court diversion programs for justice involved persons.

Medication assisted treatment for opiate use problems may include Subutex or buprenorphine. Some find these options beneficial to better handle the side effects of stopping opioid use.

You may be assigned a sober life coach to keep you on track. Their oversight and guidance may include regular visits and talks, drug screenings, and a collaborative effort to accomplish personal goals in areas of work and future plans.

Co-dependency is also addressed for those adjacent to treatment who may live with someone struggling to beat addiction behaviors.

Their sober housing programs enable you to continue working on your recovery in a highly supportive environment while you develop healthy habits and a sustainable sober lifestyle. By adhering to the rules and standards of the sober home, you learn to work, play, live, and socialize without resorting to drugs and alcohol.

**** STAY AWAY FROM THIS PROVIDER ****- My wife has been experiencing really bad back pains for more that 4 months - we were given a referral to them by AdventHealth, we had an appointment with Dr Amy Clunn - really good Dr, and we agreed to do 3 cervical MRI - in the meantime we got a call from them saying we had the Epidural injections approved BUT the MRIs need to be done first. To have a MRI appointment it was a nightmare - and when the MRI appointment date came the technician had a deceased family member (they only have 1 MRI tech?) so date was postponed. Finally we did the MRI and later on we had a call back to schedule and appointment as NEW Patient with Dr Amy Clunn - Do you believe that? - scheduled for this Nov 18 - In the mean time we had a MRI review with the Practitioner Nurse in the Villages were we agreed that the Epidural Injection was indeed needed. This last Nov 13 we finally had the Injection scheduled - for our surprise we arrived in time to Bldg 200 were we were directed to the Lab Building - we went there and found out that the appointment was cancelled due to that the med Insurance did NOT approved the Injections, they said they called us - we have no record of that - only that they did called us saying it was approved. The personal there have no clue of what is going on.We went to the Main Bldg to talk to somebody that can help us and guess what? what we got is "You have do deal with your insurance" and no proper guidance was given other that "It wasn't approved"Can you believed that? Patient Pain is still there for more that 4 months playing Ping Pong!we did texted the Dr - since nobody pics the phone and lack of guidance from the staff (after speaking with my insurance. My insurance decision was based on lack of information received from the Provider like the MRI results confirming this and wording used) asking her to contact the Pier to Pier phone of the insurance to clarify this. This was sent in Yesterday Nov 13. Lets see how long they take to respond to it.If I can give no star this should be more accurate.Again ***** STAY AWAY FROM THIS PROVIDER ******

Other Forms of Payment

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient

Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.

aftercare iconAftercare Support

Completing a drug or alcohol rehab program shouldn't spell the end of substance abuse treatment. Aftercare involves making a sustainable plan for recovery, including ongoing support. This can include sober living arrangements like halfway houses, career counseling, and setting a patient up with community programs like Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) or Narcotics Anonymous (NA).

Treatments

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

Drug rehab in Florida provides quality treatment to help individuals overcome dependency related to a wide range of addictive substances. Programs address both the physical and mental aspects of addiction in order to help you make a full recovery.

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

Substance rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from substance abuse, including alcohol and drug addiction (both illegal and prescription drugs). They often include the opportunity to engage in both individual as well as group therapy.

Programs

Adult Program

Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.
young-adult-program thumbnail image

Young Adult Program

Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.

Clinical Services

Whether a marriage or other committed relationship, an intimate partnership is one of the most important aspects of a person's life. Drug and alcohol addiction affects both members of a couple in deep and meaningful ways, as does rehab and recovery. Couples therapy and other couples-focused treatment programs are significant parts of exploring triggers of addiction, as well as learning how to build healthy patterns to support ongoing sobriety.

Research clearly demonstrates that recovery is far more successful and sustainable when loved ones like family members participate in rehab and substance abuse treatment. Genetic factors may be at play when it comes to drug and alcohol addiction, as well as mental health issues. Family dynamics often play a critical role in addiction triggers, and if properly educated, family members can be a strong source of support when it comes to rehabilitation.

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

The service and the care are horrible. When I complained on a call about Simed Primary Care's lack of service and lack of focus on care they fired me as a patient. The admin staff and the medical providers were not even adequate. Rather than helping with care, they constantly made things more difficult. Not proactive with patient care.

Simed was recommended by my neighbor. They have been fantastic in meeting all my medical needs. When I’m referred to other Dr’s, I received a phone call from said Dr to make an appointments for further care in a week or less. They are head and shoulders over Ocala Medical Center from where I transferred from. I would no hesitate to refer SIMED Ocala to anyone

Terrible practice, Dr Diaz and Greta (who is the most miserable person I have ever met) do not listen to their patients. It's all in our heads, asking about breathing related issues and no listening to lung sounds, just it's "anxiety". Wow. I think I'll take my business elsewhere. Glad the MA enjoyed me leaving in tears almost, "woo, can tell she's mad" (Dr Diaz gave me the silent treatment and motioned me out the door for daring to question him. He did not listen to my lungs, just said it was anxiety.) Why yes, sir, I am. I am scared of the problems I am experiencing and when no one helps, I am angry. Update, Dr Diaz, you said my breathing issues were anxiety. You were upset that I complained about Greta when she made assumptions about me vs actually asking me questions on my health and habits. You chose to not listen to me. I have been seen by actual medical professionals who have listened to me and MY LUNGS (they actually assessed me unlike you), instead of smirking and attributing breathing issues to anxiety. My right lung is not expanding like my left, which is being attributed to my past covid afflictions. I'm being sent for further testing, I am on inhalers, antibiotics and I am still concerned of the bigger issues of lung tissue damage. Thank you for showing your true colors to me so that I may seek out better and more professional help and those who will listen and not roll their eyes.

My wife had an appointment on 7/19/24. Several clients came in to the front desk with questions and health issues only to be rudely turned away or abruptly responded to. The staff behind the counter talked about them so loud it could be heard by all in the waiting area. My wife asked for a credit card receipt and was very rudely told that was not possible. Very unprofessional staff !!
