There have been staff at this school that are horrible, but there are many staff there that are amazing and really care about these kids. I've seen first hand the strength and compassion that has been exhibited. Don't judge the whole school, by the actions of a minority.

I have many things to say about this place.
This place is actually terrible. It is not a healthy environment for anybody who is trying to "adapt to the real world"
I got there august 20th, 2024, five days before my birthday.
I was kicked out after attempting to commit suicide in late July. Apparently too many baker acts.
This place is just smoke and mirrors when you do the interview. They make it seem like it's helpful, but when you get there, and you're there for a while, they start to treat you like another mentally ill person rather than someone who's just trying to get on with the day.
Staff we're constantly rude minus like.. three of them.. (Ms. Peggy, Ms. Brenda and Ms. Gwen.)
Very passive aggressive, and definitely not good to talk to. The program director of OTPR told staff members that if we needed to talk to someone, we were not allowed to talk to them in private, and we were also not allowed to talk to the therapist, even in crisis if it was not out scheduled day.
The food company that was provided by lifestream is DIABOLICAL. Food was usually never finished cooking or was HORRIBLY overcooked.
Apparently as long as it fit the bare minimum of nutrition, it was good enough.
Also, they never handled bullying or harassment properly, and if you had an issue with a resident, it somehow managed to get out to that said resident.
That's because the staff told them. Way to make living there borderline intolerable.
All in all, this place was terrible, and if you made a staff not like you, you would KNOW because they love to treat you differently from everybody else.
19 dollars a week, half the time it was never given to us because program director was either "too busy" or she just felt we didn't deserve it. She also hardly ever worked her full shifts, so by the time we came home from school, she was already gone and out the door.
This place sucks. Don't send your child here unless you want them to come out acting like an animal that was locked in a cage.

Orlando, FL | Aspire Health Partners in Orlando, Florida, is a facility that primarily focuses on providing medication assisted treatment for addiction. This treatment is available to adult males and females. The medications used during these treatments include Vivitrol, Suboxone, and methadone. The facility focuses on helping individuals recover from addictions | Treatments Programs Payment Options | I went from new seasons to this clinic, I was at 40 mg from new seasons- I was over sedated at 40 mg so they brought me down to 35 than to 30 and I was still over sedated at 30. So new seasons brought me down to 20mg. I was good at 20mg- I wanted to taper down though. I tapered down at 1mg a day. I was on methadone for a month and a week or two. I was going to dose for the last time- this memorial weekend that past we're my last 3 doses for 3mg,2mg and 1mg. I didn't know that I could get prescribed comfort meds by Jim or I would of done it before the weekend because it was a long weekend. I went into the clinic and cried to Christina than told her I was struggling. She got me prescribed comfort meds that day and so did jim. I got most of the comfort meds filled except one because the pharmacy wanted to speak with Jim first. I went into the office the next day to tell jim and he handled it right away. I went into dosing voluntarily but I was admitted to do IOP. IOP, counseling and the dosing has helped me so much- the dosing is more affordable at aspire as well. The comfort meds have really helped me- if you work the program it'll work. I got good sleep through the night and definitely feel better.

If you can endure the lengthy intake process, everything else is quick and efficient. All the staff, from the front desk to providers were on point, and informative. Yes there are some delays from time to time just from over crowding or should I say a lot of clients all at once. Worth a shot if your trying to change your life and get clean. Orlando Recovery Village has been a truly positive experience. The environment is welcoming, respectful, and judgment-free, which made it easier to open up and connect with others. The group leaders are compassionate, attentive, and genuinely care about everyone’s well-being.

I returned to Advanced Dermatology recently for my second MOHS procedure with Dr. Christine Morehead. My insurance doesn't cover plastic surgery, but this was not a concern with my first surgery. For years, Dr. Morehead closed all her surgeries as well. Her technique is so practiced and her sutures so precise, that when my friends with medical backgrounds saw me, they were in awe. We started calling Dr. Morehead the MOHS surgery rockstar!!
This time, the area she removed was too large to close in the office. Her amazing amazing clinical coordinator, Amanda, had spent hours reaching out to her extensive network of medical providers until she found one of the top plastics surgeons in Central Florida Who would take my insurance. Seeing Amanda standing outside the waiting room to greet me after Dr Morehead finished was the highlight of my visit! We had spent so much time on the phone over the weeks between my surgeries, that seeing Amanda was like meeting an old friend. I am incredibly grateful for their efforts on my behalf! I could not have been in better hands!

2023 is gone! And now I can go into 2024 with a new attitude and a new life mostly thankful for Perspectives 2. I made some dumb decisions last year that I ended up paying the price for. I consider myself smart and well educated but when alcohol does your thinking its a games changer. I ended up in jail with a DUI and court ordered treatment. The blessing in disguise was the court ordered treatement. I went 12 weeks to group thearpy at Perspectives. I was reluctant and not excited about going until I got there. All of us were in the same boat....nervous, shamed, scared about facing the consequences of our poor decisions. Perspectives group sessions were awesome and extremely helpful. They gave you practical suggestions to help with your addictions and how to deal with the pain you caused others and yourself. The staff that ran these sessions were incredible mainly because they truly cared! It was not a job to them but they had compassion for what your were going through in fact most of them faced similiar situations. I "had" to go to these treatments but would easily have volunterred to go after seeing what they had to offer. Great discussions with a staff that emplified compassion to every one in the class. When you know you messed up and are already down on yourself it is comforting to know folks at Perspectives 2 was there to listen, suggest and most of all show they really cared about your well being and getting you on the right track. They continue to follow up with me a year later! Jamie is awesome in her care and concern....Kudos to her and her staff. Thank you Perspectives 2 for showing honest concern and compassion!

I was referred to Pamela a couple of weeks after my wife of 33 years passed away unexpectedly in January of this year. Pamela was a Godsend. She was vital in helping me to navigate the grieving process by going through-not around or avoiding it. While i will always love and miss my wife, Pamela has helped me to start to live my life again. My journey of grief will be with me for the rest of my life, I do have a life and owe it to myself and those i care about to live it.

I cannot express enough gratitude for the incredible support and guidance I received from Pamela over the past several years. When I first began my journey with her, I was struggling with deep trauma from loss and grief, as well as the complexities of addiction. I felt lost and overwhelmed, unsure of how to move forward.
From our very first session, Pamela created a safe and nurturing environment that allowed me to explore my feelings and experiences without judgment. Her compassionate approach and deep understanding of human emotions helped me confront painful memories and begin to heal. With her expert guidance, I learned to let go of the burdens of my past and develop healthier coping mechanisms.
Pamela equipped me with tools and insights that transformed my perspective on life and pain. She taught me that it's possible to rebuild and move forward, no matter how heavy the past may feel. Thanks to her support, I have emerged as a completely different person—stronger, more resilient, and ready to embrace life.
I’m thrilled to share that I have started a new chapter with a loving partner and am in the process of building a new home. I truly feel like I am putting my life back together, and I owe a significant part of this transformation to Pamela.
If you are navigating your own pain and suffering, I wholeheartedly recommend Pamela Hand. Her wisdom, empathy, and dedication to her clients are unparalleled. She has the power to help you find the light at the end of the tunnel and guide you toward a fulfilling life.
Thank you, Pamela, for everything you have done for me!

I was self paid, not to get emotional but this place literally saved my life Choosing La Amistad Adult Behavioral Services was a truly life-changing decision, and it is all thanks to the incredible staff and community here. Every single individual plays a part in creating a safe, healing environment.
A massive shoutout to Corey, the leader of the RISE addiction recovery group. His incredibly relatable approach makes you feel seen and understood right from the jump, and the breathwork sessions he guides us through have been absolutely grounding and transformative.
The warmth starts the moment you walk through the door. Becca at the front desk handles everything with the utmost patience and poise, making what can be an overwhelming process feel incredibly smooth. Then there is Mrs. Sharron, whose outgoing, loving personality brings so much joy and comfort into the space.
The staff as a whole is unmatched. Philip brings a calming presence that instantly de-escalates anxiety and makes you feel safe. Arlene’s outgoing personality is a bright spark of energy, and Miss V, Mike, and George all contribute so much dedication, care, and heart to the daily experience.
Beyond the phenomenal staff, the peers I met here made a massive impact on my journey. The conversations we had were real, raw, and completely unfiltered—no judgment, just pure connection and mutual support. If you or a loved one are looking for genuine healing, this is the place to find it.

UPDATE——
So although I had a hiccup here, after speaking to the Director I honestly feel much better! I now find myself considering that my perception of someone’s attitude doesn’t necessarily mean that’s how they feel towards me. So I’m going to give that person the benefit of the doubt, because we all deserve second chances, and after speaking to the Director , I see that he is willing to talk about any issues that I, as a Patient, am having and strives to ensure that “we” (as Patients) can go to a safe and healthy treatment center where we feel accepted and cared for during our time here. The Counselors here are BOMB! Especially Mauricio and Peaches! Ms Emma is so sweet and from day one has always looked out for me. ALL of The Nurses are always polite and make it a pt to ask about how I and/or my family is doing! Thank you Director, for caring for me during this time and be willing to clear up any issues or misunderstandings that may be had. I first started at a different clinic & can some one please tell me how a clinic with 8 different dosing windows & 8 nurses & it would literally take a min. Of 2 hours of standing in line to check in & then standing in another line to get dosed & my own counselor after 6 months there still couldn't remember my name, but yet I start coming here where there is only 2 windows & often only 1 window open cause there's only 1 nurse (the wonderful Mrs. Carolyn) & on average I am checked in, dosed, & out the door within 15 minutes & not only does the nurse remember my name, but so does my counselor & half the other counselor's there as well. I have never had a problem or issues with anyone here & really appreciate how much everyone here is so supportive & encouraging. Everytime I come in at least one or more employees make sure they tell me how good I look or how proud they are of me for turning my life around & that really means a lot to me & helps keep me motivated to keep doing good & I can honestly say that I would not be here clean, working, & with my kids & family again without this place & the amazingly supportive & caring staff. I really can't say enough great things about everyone there. I truly appreciate you all & can't thank you enough for helping me turn my life around. It feels really good to be clean & not homeless anymore. Again Thank you all from the bottom of my heart. I'll see you guys Thursday morning! #12056

I wouldn't be here where I am today without all their help! Thank you so much OTC for helping me get my life back! ❤️

Got an appointment to see a therapist in one day and I'm going to be seeing the psychiatrist the following day.... Pretty outstanding considering I was in pretty rough shape

They really listen to what you’re saying. Dr. Ruiz is really great at this. I have been going to him for a long time and would really hate to have to change doctors.

I am so grateful to the entire VA clinic. My brother is a homeless vet and has struggled with mental health issues for the past 20 years. My parents have mostly managed his care until recently. I was concerned with how the day would go but every step along the way was met with people who advocated for him and pointed me in the right direction. From the front desk ladies to the lpns/rns, VSO, enrollment, PCP, psych/triage, pharmacy. A very daunting experience was turned into a smooth one where I felt like his needs were being met. I tried to write down and remember everyone’s names but I know I’m missing a few. Leticia, Ramos, Johnson, Wilkerson, Lee, Toth. It means so much knowing there are people like you who have taken on this role in my brothers journey. Thank you!!!

When people a | Treatments Programs Payment Options | Fresh Start Ministries in Orlando have been a true blessing to my loved one and our entire family, offering hope and encouragement to his recovery. The growth I have witnessed in him, spiritually, emotionally, and personally, has been genuine and deeply meaningful as he reconnects with the Lord and embraces the difficult but necessary work that real change requires. While Fresh Start offers essential structure and guidance, lasting transformation happens when the men are willing to show up and do the work, and when both come together, the impact is powerful.
I am grateful for Pastor Tim, who leads the Tuesday family support group meetings and creates a safe space where shared understanding brings comfort and strength, as well as for counselor Jesse, whose patience, encouragement, and sincere compassion have played a meaningful role in my loved one’s journey.
The staff at Fresh Start genuinely cares, and it is evident in the way they walk alongside the men, challenge them, and hold them accountable. This is a place focused on Christ, where genuine healing and recovery can begin, and I am truly grateful for the hope and renewal this ministry brings to countless lives.

I had a gentleman come into my job and very kindly ask if my coworkers and I would be interested in buying some baked goods to help support the rehab center. I bought a raspberry cheesecake and chit chatted about living in FL with him, he was very friendly and the cheesecake was great for a good price. I believe his name was Robert. I’ll definitely buy again if he comes back :)

I bought a Reese pound cake and plain cheesecake from a guy that came to my store today in Donalsonville, ga. And told me exactly what facility it was for. I didn’t even know a place like this existed but I’m glad it does. It’s gives them something to do with their time and be able to go out and sell what they make. I was glad to be able to help support them.
