My life was spiraling downhill and I had no useful coping skills when I walked into Sunrise Detox scared and hopeless over a year ago. All the nurses and techs were attentive, compassionate and made the detox process as comfortable as possible. The transition to Evolve Recovery was seamless and the best decision for me. The group therapy was well facilitated and dealt with issues relative to today’s environment. The individual sessions with my counselor Michelle were paramount to my success. Michelle never made me feel rushed. She was invested in my recovery. She involved my family in my treatment which was critical to saving my marriage. She assessed my situation and made the most appropriate discharge recommendations. Evolve showed me the needs and skills to navigate life without alcohol. That coupled with them bringing in nightly outside recovery speakers inspired hope that I can do this. I am forever grateful to Sunrise/Evolve for being the start to my recovery. I am over a year sober now, active daily in my recovery and it is all thanks to this facility and the amazing staff they have.

February 11th of this; God dropped me in the lobby of Sunrise. Welcomed by an amazing tech with a huge smile, who said, “You ready?” Little did I know, that moment of surrender would have been the key to growing into the man I am today. For 17 years I had all the answers; my inability to admit I was wrong, led me down so many paths of destruction. Through the love from all the staff, in particular Michelle, my wonderful counselor sat across from me in group and said; “No!” In my mind, I was planning my next self sabotage move to run back to what I knew. I accepted the opportunity to move down south for a thirty day PHP program. Setting small appointments throughout my recovery has allowed me to now call PSL my new home. Accepting help, taking the suggestions, sponsoring other men, and admitting on a daily basis; God show me your will for my life, has brought me so much peace. Thank you to everyone at Sunrise, for loving me where I was, putting up with my never ending requests, and helping me see my value. I love you all!! If you’re thinking about pursuing treatment; this is one small flash of a second in your life. Take the risk!

I went from new seasons to this clinic, I was at 40 mg from new seasons- I was over sedated at 40 mg so they brought me down to 35 than to 30 and I was still over sedated at 30. So new seasons brought me down to 20mg. I was good at 20mg- I wanted to taper down though. I tapered down at 1mg a day. I was on methadone for a month and a week or two. I was going to dose for the last time- this memorial weekend that past we're my last 3 doses for 3mg,2mg and 1mg. I didn't know that I could get prescribed comfort meds by Jim or I would of done it before the weekend because it was a long weekend. I went into the clinic and cried to Christina than told her I was struggling. She got me prescribed comfort meds that day and so did jim. I got most of the comfort meds filled except one because the pharmacy wanted to speak with Jim first. I went into the office the next day to tell jim and he handled it right away. I went into dosing voluntarily but I was admitted to do IOP. IOP, counseling and the dosing has helped me so much- the dosing is more affordable at aspire as well. The comfort meds have really helped me- if you work the program it'll work. I got good sleep through the night and definitely feel better.

If you can endure the lengthy intake process, everything else is quick and efficient. All the staff, from the front desk to providers were on point, and informative. Yes there are some delays from time to time just from over crowding or should I say a lot of clients all at once. Worth a shot if your trying to change your life and get clean. Great place to learn how to get sober and stay that way. I also love that they have AA or NA meetings nightly. Food and accommodations are good. Staff is very nice and helpful. The IOP program here is amazing, would highly recommend it to anyone continuing on in their recovery journey. Lyma is an awesome therapist, in the group setting and in one on one sessions. Amy is a really helpful case manager and will answer any questions you may have and point you in the right direction of resources to help you. The men’s sober living on Concord Street is a really nice, supportive environment that’s conveniently located a two minute walk away from daily AA meetings. The house is run by Patrick and Glenda and they make sure you are well taken care of, make you aware of any and all resources available to help you get back on your feet, and really care about your success in your recovery.

Unforgettable experience. Almost all staff there when I was there to rehabilitate, was thoughtful and had their hearts in the right place. The program directors, support councilors, and all other staff members on campus made sure almost daily to check up on the youth, and building solid foundations of trust needed to have consistent progress in therapy both in session and internal. There were opportunities to further your education and if you could show responsibility and determination to better yourself, your given opportunity’s to learn more hands on life skills, like painting or how to properly write a resume and apply for a Job. While from the perspective of being rehabilitated, things can seem negative and hopeless at times. When I was there I didn’t share an positive outlook, but after deeply analyzing my experience In hindsight, this was the safest and most caring place to learn necessary coping skills to stay recovered. And I’m very thankful for all the staff members who did their job with their heart and minds in the right place. 5 stars

I did time there 2002 to 2003. It was called ARC back then. They had alot of escapes there. Mrs Flowers was the best person there. We were placed in cottages like a summer camp..they fed us well. I learned alot from my experience

I was referred to Pamela a couple of weeks after my wife of 33 years passed away unexpectedly in January of this year. Pamela was a Godsend. This treatment center above all is absolutely amazing. If you need help with opioid addiction and have this rope hold you down this is where you need to be. The nurses,counseling staff all that work here and we can’t forget Miss Emma are all amazing. This facility is well run and have many different programs and except many different forms of insurance they will do whatever it takes to help. The facility and surrounding area is very clean and monitored. So if you want to start down a new path and be free of the nonsense,looking over your shoulder,and all that comes with it. UPDATE—— So although I had a hiccup here, after speaking to the Director I honestly feel much better! I now find myself considering that my perception of someone’s attitude doesn’t necessarily mean that’s how they feel towards me. So I’m going to give that person the benefit of the doubt, because we all deserve second chances, and after speaking to the Director , I see that he is willing to talk about any issues that I, as a Patient, am having and strives to ensure that “we” (as Patients) can go to a safe and healthy treatment center where we feel accepted and cared for during our time here. The Counselors here are BOMB! Especially Mauricio and Peaches! Ms Emma is so sweet and from day one has always looked out for me. ALL of The Nurses are always polite and make it a pt to ask about how I and/or my family is doing! Thank you Director, for caring for me during this time and be willing to clear up any issues or misunderstandings that may be had. This place isn’t a generic methadone clinic, they actually care about there Patients!

More than 34 years ago, I came to Fresh Start Ministries seeking help for my addiction to crack cocaine. The staff at Fresh Start taught me about the addictive personality and helped me understand why I became addicted in the first place. Through the ministry of Fresh Start, I learned how to build a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and allow Him to heal areas of my past that had contributed to my destructive thinking and choices. As God worked in my life, my thinking began to change, and I started making healthier decisions. This is a fantastic organization, with dilligent workers and a mission that undoubtedly serves the community. Addiction is one of the most brutal beasts one can face off, and community support is necessary to repair the lives it feeds off of. Only by standing together can we make sure no one gets left behind. I myself found out about this through their bake sales, as they send out a pair of gentlemen to an area to offer some of their pastries. I've grown quite fond of our team, as they're always quite polite and personable- Always a pleasure, even without the treats! My household absolutely adores their cheesecakes, poundcakes, and their Palmiers cookies are my favourite- I highly recommend having them with hot tea or coffee. Flakey and sweet. Looking forward to every month, as it's a greeting and a chance at delightful, locally made sweets, with the proceeds going towards such an important mission, was a stroke of genius. I wish only the best for everyone involved, and I hope to see them grow and succeed in their mission.

Our daughter was admitted here back in July and received the upmost care. All doctors, nurses, and staff answered any and all questions and took care of our daughter like she was their own. This is the most scariest thing to go through as parents and they put us at ease with daily updates and having the opportunity to call at anytime and check on her was phenomenal. Our daughter who has never spoke in therapy and always refused during regular therapy sessions took part in group therapy here shared what was on her heart. This speaks volumes.

I've been at Center for Discovery in Maitland since I left residential at Monteverde and it has been a wonderful experience overall. I've received so much support from all of the therapists, dietitians, diet techs, etc. They take time out of their day to talk to you if you're struggling and the care is really personalized, they take a lot of time getting to know you even if you aren't their primary client. The staff has gone above and beyond to give me and my peers so much support.

This place offers a safe environment off the streets and off drugs. October 6th I decided to get out from living in a tent for 5+ years and with an addiction that was fully running my life. Lifestream detox on Tally road saved my life. Not only did I have a safe place to detox but after three days they sent me to the hospital where I was out into ICU with sepsis and a spider bite with mersa along with my blood pressure tremendously low I kept passing out. I got hooked up with the Anthony house recovery place before I even left the hospital. A week later I returned to the detox to get my things and to discharge myself from lifestream. The Anthony house said bc it was on a Friday there was no way of transporting me to them so the only other option is have was the street and back in the environment with the drugs. I was able to talk with two the ladies who worked there and the company did pay the ride fare for Lyft to the Anthony house so I could start my recovery journey. I completed the residential recovery program and all their requirements. I started getting set up with GED classes they have there along with my case plan classes I was already required to take. Ex. Parenting, healthy relationships, co dependency, grievance, 12 steps, finance, and they do take you to NA meetings. counseling sessions with a great great counselor Ms Jamie. I've never had a great counselor I was comfortable enough to talk to till I met her. She goes above and beyond for her consumers/clients. There's other classes they provide. They do have a on site daycare for young kids. One thing I did struggle with was they didn't allow kids older then 13 years old. My kids are teens under 18. I started from my rock bottom in a tent out in the street with a huge drug addiction and 8 months later I'm following my dreams. I'm 9 months clean and sober with a career, a home/apartment, my family back in my life, my sanity and my life I was able to get all of it back with making that one step. I highly recommend this place. It's your recovery and sobriety and if you want it as badly as I did you have to consistently fight for your life and fight your self obsession to become a better version then what you were. #wedotecover #justfortoday

I severed at total freedom for many year. I know I'm still alive today because of this program and Ministry I learned how to have a personal relationship with god through Christ Jesus. Though my walk has not been perfect my road has been paved with His grace and I can say that because of this place my life is different. I still deal with daily fights but at least I'm in the fight no longer a casualty of the war. Though this place is not easy it's solid, it's real, and it's truth.!!!
