About New Season Treatment Center – Orlando

The facility offers medically supervised withdrawal management, intensive outpatient programs (IOP) and medication assisted treatment (MAT). You’ll first undergo an intake assessment or evaluation. This helps the clinic team identify treatment needs and create personalized care plans.

Your treatment may begin with medical supervised withdrawal or detox. This helps to remove addiction related toxins from your body. It is a carefully managed procedure with 24/7 monitoring by trained physicians. These experts may administer meds to ease your withdrawal symptoms if necessary. This ensures a safe and comfortable withdrawal experience.

You can continue your recovery journey via their IOP upon stabilization. This program is also suitable if you’re just seeking a less restrictive level of care than inpatient therapy. Or taking preventative measures to avoid more extensive services like hospitalization. It involves individual, group and family counseling alongside educational sessions that emphasize skill building. Counseling helps you address the psychological aspect of your opioid misuse.

Individual counseling enables you to tackle personal issues and emotions contributing to your opioid use with the support of your primary therapist. Group counseling makes your recovery journey less lonely by fostering community support via peer interaction. It’s a great way to connect and share experiences with those facing similar behavioral challenges. You may even learn relevant life skills like communication, stress management and building healthy relationships. This can help you achieve and maintain lasting recovery.

Although the facility offers MAT as a standalone therapy for opioid misuse, it can also be part of the IOP. MAT is their specialty. The technique uses meds approved by the FDA alongside counseling to provide the best recovery outcomes. The clinic uses methadone, buprenorphine or Suboxone for this purpose. These meds eliminate or reduce withdrawal symptoms and curb cravings making you responsive to counseling.

Your unique condition will normally determine the medicine their trained care personnel prescribes. This is based on your personalized care plan. Their overall opioid treatment programs are optimized for comfort.

I like that the IOP is super flexible. You’ll conveniently receive treatment without disrupting your daily routine. They’ll even provide you with take home benefits anytime you reach a recovery milestone as encouragement during MAT. I especially like that these recovery services are provided with the highest level of confidentiality. It’s also great that they accept Medicare, Medicaid and private insurance. This makes paying for services easy.

IF I WERE YOU I WOULD GO ANY WHERE BUT HERE!! And, here’s why…. I’ve been going here for a while now. It’s really gotten bad the past few months. Ever since my counselor supposedly got a raise she has turned into a very argumentative and degrading person. I’ve only had a handful of counselors because they don’t stick around long enough, they leave often. But, I have NEVER been so humiliated and wanted to change counselors as I want to now. she refuses to help me get to the bottom of an issue. They are supposed to be there to help you, but she isn’t anymore. She checked out the day she heard of a promotion. I have worked really hard on me and have got to phase 27. Then the floor falls out under me and they are trying to say my UA is dirty. I’ve been clean and off all drugs since Oct of 2023. I’m not sure how these tests can come back positive for something I don’t even know what it is. NO-ONE will work with me to figure out what is causing me to have a false positive on my screen once in a while. They just take phases away and don’t care why. I’ve begged and begged for someone to help me any no one will. I’m chemo meds for Breast Cancer and on other medications for other illnesses I have. It doesn’t make any sense as to it showing periodicity. And, the only thing I hear is “ Well, we are taking a phase away from you.” Why though? I’m telling you all I’m not doing anything. I’m being punished for something I’m not doing. I’ve went and bought myself some UA screens. I take mine at home the same day I take it there and mine is negative and yours are positive. There is an issue with this and no one is willing to look into it or find out the problem. I would really like someone from corporate to help me with this issue as I have tried at the clinic level and no one there cares.

This clinic takes 1 hour minimum to dose, and I could never understand why they built two clinics in Ocala right next door to each other and neither of the clinics were busy. However this clinic is always packed, counselors overbooked and overworked.

This people here think because we there to get help they can treat us like we don’t deserve to be respected, they have 6 to 8 windows with nurses and everyday it take 30 min to 1 hour to even 1 hour and 45 min like was my situation to serve your medicine this ridiculous people like me work and this kind of behavior is unacceptable , I did put a write up like 2 weeks ago for the same and today when I went there they skip for 45 min and I saw all the clients came and go after and all this because I write them up , why Steven the manager let this happen I thought that he’s there to manage but he act like he have to respect the nurses before the clients and my receipt said that they charged me $800 a week and I can’t receive a decent service? When I went to the window to ask the nurse said with attitude that they call me already when I’m stuck looking at the monitor and if I hear they call me like she said I will go to the window because that’s what I’m there for so the lying too and Steven the manager was there in the nurses booth and did nothing why we have be treating like that ? They know we are addicts and they don’t respect us even that we pay for their service , something have to be because they act like it’s what I said if you don’t like it you leave and when you go and try to said something they treated you like you stay or I will take your dose and we can show you the door! And all that because you want to know what is happening, We need a new lider because Steven do what ever the nurse said without investigating it’s like they friends and he trust in them blind folder . I understand that we come from an addiction but we are there to get better with the Methadone keel with are life but I refuse to be treated like that when I’m a pay customer paying $800 a week…

Accepted Insurance

Please contact to verify your specific insurance provider.

New Season Treatment Center – Orlando works with several private insurance providers, please contact to verify your specific insurance provider.

Other Forms of Payment

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Financial aid can take many forms. Centers may have grants or scholarships available to clients who meet eligibility requirements. Programs that receive SAMHSA grants may have financial aid available for those who need treatment as well. Grants and scholarships can help you pai for treatment without having to repay.

Medicaid is a state based program that helps lower-income individuals and families pay for healthcare. Medicaid covers addiction treatment so those enrolled can use their coverage to pay for rehab. When a program accepts Medicaid the client often pays very little or nothing out of their own pocket.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.

Drug and alcohol addiction often takes a heavy toll on one's body. Over time, a physical dependence can develop, meaning the body physiologically needs the substance to function. Detox is the process of removing drugs and/or alcohol from the body, a process that can be lethal if mismanaged. Medical detox is done by licensed medical professionals who monitor vital signs and keep you safe, healthy, and as comfortable as possible as you go through detox and withdrawal.

Treatments

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

Drug rehab in Florida provides quality treatment to help individuals overcome dependency related to a wide range of addictive substances. Programs address both the physical and mental aspects of addiction in order to help you make a full recovery.

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

Substance rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from substance abuse, including alcohol and drug addiction (both illegal and prescription drugs). They often include the opportunity to engage in both individual as well as group therapy.

Programs

Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.

Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.

Clinical Services

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

Research clearly demonstrates that recovery is far more successful and sustainable when loved ones like family members participate in rehab and substance abuse treatment. Genetic factors may be at play when it comes to drug and alcohol addiction, as well as mental health issues. Family dynamics often play a critical role in addiction triggers, and if properly educated, family members can be a strong source of support when it comes to rehabilitation.

Life skills are the core skills you need for daily success. They can include self care, stress management, daily routines, and emotion control. Rehab treatment includes the development of these skills so you have the tools you need for long term recovery.

I wan’t to be clear that the 1 star is because it seems that the practices at this particular clinic by Dr.Bircham seem to be punitive to all of the people who have reached phases and have no regard for the fact that as you regain your sobriety and life back. Things do come up and should be treated on a case by case matter. My counselor Ron and the Program director Steven are Magnificent, so the fact they they seem to be stuck with a doctor who is more concerned about the patients doing what she says immediately instead of teaming things on Wednesdays is like a dictatorship where I now constantly here that this is the medical directors orders and only she can change them yet she’s never there. The Last Straw for me is outrageous she decided that any one who missed there pick up date would have to single dose until their next pickup. On top of the fact that this is directly affecting those who have consistently made progress a part of which is working daily, spending time with family. It is again punitive to those doing everything they are supposed to not those failing UA screens or not showing progress because they already must come dose daily anyway. This new policy was sent on the engage app which 80% only use to sign in why was if put into place immediately not communicated in a manner that made everyone aware. Signs on the door calls from councilors email as opposed to a random alert on an app barely used. I did have general counsel for my companies waste a whole day preparing the exact laws pertaining to this which I will send a copy of to corporate a portion of which is provided below. 4. Methods for Notifying Patients Clinics must notify patients of policy changes using clear and accessible methods: - Direct Communication: - In-Person Announcements: Clinics often inform patients during daily visits. - Written Notices: Posted prominently in clinics and included in patient paperwork. - Individual Consultations: Providers discuss changes during counseling sessions. - Digital and Remote Methods: - Telehealth Platforms: For patients receiving remote counseling, changes can be communicated via virtual sessions. - Email and Text Alerts: If patients provide contact information, clinics may use electronic notifications. - Regulatory Requirements: - Transparency: Clinics must explain changes to take-home doses, dosing rules, or counseling requirements, as seen in federal guidelines. - **Documentation**: Patients may be required to sign acknowledgments of new policies, especially for safety-related changes (e.g., lockable containers for take-home doses).
