I just want to say Thabk you to all the staff here, I went there very sick, very confused, and feeling totally defeated they all worked to get me to the right place, and even with my complaining, and my not being able to breathe crap everyone was totally awesome, not many people tells you guys when you have did an amazing job only when they feel like you haven’t, I just wanted to take the time out and say Thank you I appreciate all you do!!

Referred through Truehealth for adult outpatient therapy. Quiet and clean environment. Intake process is respectful, thorough, and informative. Telehealth services are offered. Fantastic sliding fee scale and low-income/underinsured resources/services offered. Lots of options for people looking to manage complex trauma. The medication clinic has some wildly rude staff but also very helpful staff, which helps offset the rudeness. The physician Anne Roy is great. No telehealth, which is inconvenient for anyone with transportation restrictions. Not easy to reach front desk and have to go in person for authorizations and any updates.

Great place! Everyone I've dealt with has been super nice. They really do make you feel at home. Especially, Belinda she's so very nice! I highly recommend this place

If you don't have insurance, the price and amount of red tape you have to go thru is unbelievable, I can't see how anyone can afford dosing everyday plus whatever fee for treatment, and UA's. It can get expensive just starting out, and if you're trying to quit fetty, it's hard at first and you gotta have the funds for sure. But besides that, everyone is super nice and will try to help you the best they can. MY experience coming here so far has been alright and everything/everyone has been super helpful If you're really trying to quit, you're gonna need insurance cause it's 126 a week, 18 daily for dosing. So I highly recommend you you have insurance and if not, good luck and hopefully you can get the funds to start

I cannot express enough gratitude for the care and compassion shown by the staff at the Center for Discovery in Maitland, Florida. From the very beginning, they treated my daughter as if she were their own, walking alongside her through every stage of her recovery journey. Tristin and Kathleen, in particular, went above and beyond, providing not just expert care but genuine empathy, making my daughter feel understood and supported in every step. The admissions department also deserves special recognition for their dedication in ensuring my daughter received the help she desperately needed. Their commitment didn’t stop at intake—they continue to check on her progress, even after treatment, showing that their care extends far beyond the walls of the facility. As an overly involved parent, I needed constant communication, and the team was always on top of it. Whether it was updates, reassurance, or addressing concerns, I always felt informed and involved in my daughter's recovery. Like any treatment facility, they aren’t perfect, but the heart and commitment they have toward their clients and their families is unmatched. I knew then—and I still know now—that my daughter was, and is, in the hands of truly amazing individuals. If she ever needs help again, I have full confidence that she’ll receive the same exceptional level of care. I've been at Center for Discovery in Maitland since I left residential at Monteverde and it has been a wonderful experience overall. I've received so much support from all of the therapists, dietitians, diet techs, etc. They take time out of their day to talk to you if you're struggling and the care is really personalized, they take a lot of time getting to know you even if you aren't their primary client. The staff has gone above and beyond to give me and my peers so much support.

As a private practice therapy in the area, I can rest assured that referring clients to CFD Maitland, that they will be taken care of. CFD Maitland’s team is very efficient as far as cultural competency, ethics, and clinical interventions and skills used.

Real review. 1. The staff was good and not too up tight. 2. The food is like at a really good buffet 3x a day. (Snacks in between) 3. If your to detox from drugs. They give appropriate medicines to help. Recommend to any one needing a chill out time for being coo coo. Also Recommend if someone wants to get off heavy drugs and does not have anywhere to be away from the temptations.

My son was there for five weeks and thanks to the doctors, nurses, and staff for their care. He was going thru severe psychosis and being released too early in our local hospital but here they held him until he got an injectable anti-psychotic and is also taking an antidepressant. He liked the food and facilities better than were we are at and said the therapy groups were fun and staff challenged him with mind puzzles which he enjoyed. Communication was good. This is not a place for pleasant experiences but thank God for their work and commitment.
