I am forever grateful to this place. The staff is incredible, they truly care and put their heart and soul in everything they do. Donald was my therapist, Brandy was my case manager; they were both wonderful. The other therapists and case managers that weren’t even mine were a vital part in my recovery. I suggest utilizing all the staff you can, including the BHT’s. They want to help, and they definitely did. The reviews talking about “only an hour a day in the pool,” or the “gym isn’t good enough,” if that’s what you’re taking away with you in your recovery, then good luck. We had groups every day of the week, which is a necessary part in our recovery. They had activities for us every night, so we could build connections while having fun. The pool and the gym were extra gifts when we had the opportunity to use them. I would have loved it without. If you’re considering taking the steps to recovery, 100% recommend.

Don't let your kids come. They let clients under 21 smoke cigarettes and that's also against the law. I came to stop smoking period and here goes this place giving cigarettes.

I’ve consistently seen how dedicated this program is to providing thoughtful, client-centered mental health care. I’ve had the pleasure of working with Erica Rigsby in the field and she is a wonderful example of when true passion and compassion combine. Highly recommend this program for anyone!

I completed this program thanks to the nursing staff, Counselor Amber, Counselor Eliana, BHT Greg, and all the other dedicated hard workers here. The cleaning staff stole my sweatpants and T- shirt, that I was not too happy about. I enjoyed this program and it had a lot to offer.

This place is good. Shout out Josiah the head chef he makes really good food. Breakfast is good everything is. The therapist are good. This place really teaches more about science, the right side and left side of the brain. All the staff treated me well.

This facility is top notch! The staff is professional, the meals are 5 star and the location is amazing. I feel very fortunate to have been able to receive treatment here. I learned so much about recovery and myself. Mikayla, my therapist, was very supportive and compassionate. I was very comfortable talking to her about anything. I’ve made great relationships that I will have for life.

Excellent care

Well let's start with the staff: There's quite a few so I'll just list a name and say my thoughts. Ms. Rozzela was great and always gave us something to do and tried to make being there a little better. Mr. Al was great at keeping everyone safe even with granted some violence going on, very calm sometimes but always ready for action. Ms. Maggie I'll be it a little strict in some areas, worked hard to get everyone on track, and did quite a few nice things for the kids,and brought in movies. Mr. James the overseer of the program made sure everyone got snacks, gave everyone an opportunity to participate in the ropes course activities, made sure the mail got to it's recipient, and even made home made wings for everyone on pizza day. Ms. Jozzete is the director of everything, always handled requests (speak up forms), during the holidays gave us some festive activities, the biggest one being the haunted house, and that's about it for that. Food: edible I guess but definitely some issues here health-wise. Excessive amounts of grease in a lot of the foods. The eggs flat out taste horrible and are definitely not real. Stale bread, stale taco shells, and they burn every single burrito made. Lastly, they don't remove the membrane from the ribs when they cook them which is very disgusting. Counselors: There's 6 counselors at Oasis as of now but that's bound to change. Some are interns but the list is Ms. Sam, Ms. Stephanie, Ms. Emmy, Mrs. Hannah, and Ms. Carly. The counselors are all great so there's no area for concern there. Doctors/Nurses: Nurses were excellent Nurse Joanne and Nurse Ashley. The pyschiatrist is good as well. The nurse practitioner is also good too. Education: The teachers are great Mrs. Varner and Mr. Brown always helping kids with questions and encouraging them to get credits. You must have at least a C at Oasis. But the classroom can very easily become loud as the kids are defiant and don't want to do the work. Which becomes distracting to many, but both teachers a lot of the time offer to work after class is over, well the other students disturbing class leave. Conclusion: If you can find somewhere with better food options I would go there! If you can find a facility/rehab that doesn't house juvenile delinquents I would go there. If you could find another facility without a barbed wire fence I would go there. If there's another rehab with home passes available I would go there too. But ultimately if Oasis is your only option despite it being a level 2 lockdown facility. With some troublesome kids occasionally. Then it's not a bad choice if it's your only choice. But don't consider this as the first place to send your teenager to unless it is mandatory for probation, in which case look no further then here as this is much better then the higher level programs.
