I cannot say enough amazing things about Live Oak Detox Center in Fort Pierce, Florida. From start to finish, the experience has been nothing but positive vibes. I appreciate every single staff member there — the kindness, patience, and genuine care they show is something you don’t find just anywhere.
I want to give a special shout-out to Mia. I’m pretty sure I drove her crazy with all my messages while my husband was there, but she responded promptly every single time and never once made me feel like a bother. She truly went above and beyond, and I’m so grateful for her.
My husband told me that everyone treated him extremely well and made him feel safe, supported, and respected. He is so thankful he went — and honestly, so am I. He could’ve walked out at any moment, but because of how welcoming, encouraging, and loving the staff is, he stayed and fought through the hard days.

You have to stay ahead of appointments, prescriptions, medications, etc. Dr Kepfer is experienced and knowledgeable psych Dr. she will guide you in the right direction. As a patient you have to
follow through with orders. Mental health is difficult. We have to be proactive about our self care and educate ourselves on diagnosis. Medication is a “helper.” I, you, all patients must learn about your disease. Group therapy is an excellent way to learn about yourself, triggers, coping mechanisms, side effects, etc. If you’re not willing to help yourself, you can’t expect your dr to fix everything.

March 1 2025 god willing I will celebrate 6 years sober CRC saved my life. The staff and this program allowed me to live for the first time. Thank you for this program

This place and the women who work here are nothing short of the best. I have been in the IOP program for about 2 months and it's been a healing and rewarding journey. The counselors don't put up with bs, and they have seen it all. They are there to help and give their time whenever asked. Highly recommend this facility for those who want recovery, and it's so worth it

If anyone Has a problem I say go here . In and out fast for your Dose .
My pain clinic Resolute in Port St. Lucie a dr.Kucheria kick me off for a false urine and I was stuck he would not retest me . 11 yrs with no dirty ones i could have had serious problems or died due to him. I went here they help me in a few hours .
I highly recommend this place if you have any issues with your meds or other problems. All staff members are extremely nice and careing , they are there to help you , not just to get a pay check every week. My first counselor has been gone over a year , but we're still friends and we text and stay in touch. If you want help this is the place to go. They are here to help you if you want it. Hours are from 5 :30 am till 11:00 am i believe now there closed on Saturday and Sunday... so youll need to invest in a take home box. You can find them at CVS or other shops, staples, etc. Under $15.00 .
They are there to help you if you want it...everyone on staff is polite and helping. I recommend this place if you need it , they will help or tell you what to do.. I give this clinic a ( 10 )

They are absolutely wonderful. And I'm so grateful for this place. just about everyone there is absolutely amazing. There's only like 2 nurses there that I think are miserable and hate their job other than that. Everybody else is absolutely amazing. My counselor April ,Katrina, and everyone else.
They're all a delight and so helpful. The only thing I would like to know is why they are not up to par With the federal guidelines for methadone clinics in the state of florida for take homes. Actually as of April 2024 , they updated the methodone clinic guidelines for the state of Florida for take homes for people to be able to have take homes after 30 days of being at the clinic.
And if they have clean urine. I know I have not had any dirty urine tests. And I have been at the clinic for more than 30 days and it would be a blessing if they could be up to par with the new federal guidelines for the state of Florida. So I can have weekly take homes. It would really help out so much. It is very difficult for me to come all the way from Jensen beach every to get my dose at the clinic. Anyways, but other than that , i am truly blessed to have found this place. And I'm so grateful for everyone who works there and has helped me in my recovery. Definitely recommend this place to anyone who is trying to recover from addiction.

My name is Barakat I am a patient there from the front desk all the way to the dosing station all the way to the nurses station all the way across the hall so all the counselors they are all wonderful very wonderful they give me the courage and strength to stay clean they always have a smiling face and they are always willing to help never do I see an attitude on any one of their faces they make you want to go they make you want to keep coming back they want to see you do good and I love that again my last name is Barakat I'm struggling with opiates all my life but I think this set of nurses and staff have helped me make it come to an end I still struggle but at the same time I look at how they are so encouraging. I was brought here and upon my arrival i met Ayzia, she is one of the best techs out there and i couldn’t be more grateful for her! This facility isn’t a resort. I did not come to get treatment in luxury. I’ve been in and out of Detox, i relapsed so many times but everytime I comeback they take me in with open arms judgement free. I’m grateful they got me into an out patient program on scholarship and I believe this time I won’t be coming back. I’m 60 days sober and I’ve finally realized I have to work the program and the steps to stay out of detox. The staff at New Herizons is the best and most knowledgeable out of the places I’ve been for treatment. Thank God for New Herizons they saved my life.

Lmao hey mr will do you remember me from back in the children unit back from 2011 through 2013 it's me francisco gaspar i'm now the age of 27 and turning 28 this year and do you remember when you told me that i had food in my mouth as a chipmunk also thank's to the ppl from back in the old days for helping me with my mental health issues i really miss you guy's i remember i think his name was rico or whatever his name was the worker rico thanked for helping me and he was a nice worker but now i know he's not working their when i left my final moment in 2013 including the doctors too whoever is see my review don't be afraid and your fears and whatever type of your mental health issue is you need to just battle and fight it back i know back in the old days i use to be afraid and fear but something told me that don't be afraid and fear different ppl have the samething but different there r different mental hospital's out there that r their for you god is helping you out trust me.
Coastal was tough and fair…they prepared me for the real world!
The food is fabulous and the staff is wonderful!

The staff is amazing they walked me through all the things I had doubts or questions about, rod always has his door open always takes time to welcome any conversation concerns or just chat ,shanell goes above and beyond everyday and always caring and friendly same with jose ,paige,Stephanie has been so helpful and does her job with genuine concern willing to help out in anyway possible taylor also shes been there for me since day 1 weekly visits and takes time too listen and has been dedicated understanding insightful the group facilitators all offer different approaches and through their experiences really want to reach and connect you to sobriety and spirituality if willing and serious about recovery this is the place to achieve it .

I went to detox here last summer. I had never been anywhere for detox or treatment and I was terrified before I arrived. The staff were all very kind and supportive. I actually had fun and learned a lot! They assisted me in getting into a Post Hospitalization Program, which I attended and completed. They still check on me to see him I'm doing and see if there's anything I need. I highly recommend Amethyst!

If you are debating about going to treatment you will be beyond blessed if accepted into Amethyst and don’t take it lightly . The therapist are very professional especially carrie. Larry in discharge is super helpful and gets the aid you need while in therapy. Without him I would not of found housing. Highly recommend foundations wellness center
My daughter was at Ambrosia for several months and we had a positive experience. The best part about Ambrosia was the therapist. Therapist Katelyn is the first therapist who my daughter ever felt a connection to. Katelyn was absolutely amazing with my daughter and to our family. I love all the staff at ambrosia. They saved my daughter’s life. The nurses and all the staff are incredible. I would like to give a specific shout out to Katelyn Macias “my child’s therapist”. We absolutely love her. From day one, she made our daughter feel seen, understood, and genuinely supported. She listens with compassion, communicates clearly, and creates a safe space where our daughter can open up without fear or pressure.
The progress our daughter has made is a direct reflection of her therapist’s dedication, patience, and skill. She doesn’t just “do her job” she truly cares, and it shows in every session, every update, and every thoughtful insight she shares with us as parents.

My time at ambrosia was incredible due to the hardworking staff and my therapist who dedicated so much of her time and work to me. It’s a relitevly healthy environment given the circumstances of being there, and if you go there i can gaurentee you’ll have an amazing support system. Ms katelyn is one of the best therapists at ambrosia and you’re lucky if you have/had her. I’d recommend any family send their kid here because it really helped me a lot!

I completed this program with success and it was a very good place to be. The staff was very helpful. This place is a really good place with awesome staff. They give you the tools to do what you need for help. The enviroment is awesome for recovery and a beautiful spot on the water.
Recent changes to this Office has sadly resulted in a Lack of Services.
Unfortunately, there is NO RECEPTIONIST to ANSWER this Phone!!

How to explain it cause dr betty is very nice and sometimes if you need help then she always take you in very early and the staff in the front office they are very nice but don't let the bad vibes hurt/fool you because the new horizons stuart is always here to help or the injection from fort pierce to stuart injection staff that gives me the injection every 3 month's they are helpful and nice so if you need help again then new horizon stuart they got your back with meds. (:

I can’t say enough about the incredible care and compassion Mark showed during my relative’s admission process at Port St. Lucie Hospital. From the very first phone call, he went above and beyond to make sure every detail was handled smoothly and that our family felt informed and supported every step of the way.
Mark took extra time to answer all of our questions, explained what to expect, and made sure my relative was comfortable and at ease during what could have been a stressful time. His professionalism, kindness, and genuine concern for his patients and their families truly stood out.
It’s rare to meet someone who combines efficiency with such empathy — but Mark does just that. He made sure every need was not only met but exceeded. Our family is so grateful for his dedication and care.

Mark was extremely understanding and helpful in assisting our family member with the decision to attend an inpatient alcohol medical detox program.
After being discharged, our family member shared how happy he was with the program, the support he received and the wonderful staff. He's so committed to his recovery that he's now attending the outpatient program to continue his progress and work to prevent this disease from returning.

I LOVED THIS PLACE AND IT WILL FOREVER BE THE REASON I CAME BACK TO GOD! I was able to share how I felt and not be judged, I was able to share about Jesus and not be judged most importantly, and I was able to have MY OWN BIBLE STUDY GROUP!!!! There’s a few people that I want to shout out and yes all the reviews have one person that stands out and this is Josh D! Josh was an important part of my journey at remedy and he made his mark not only in my recovery but in my spiritual journey to! He was an amazing mentor and teacher he really does care and LOVE everyone that comes through the front door. So, I feel like my review should really hold some weight, since I've been to treatment centers all over the country. If you REALLY want to get clean and sober, this place is the one🙏🏼 The staff is phenomenal, from the director Cindy, to the counseling staff (Lexi is the best) to the behavioral techs (give Leo a raise) they are ALL willing to help you ANY WAY they can seriously. So if you've made up your mind that you want to change your life, come here🙏🏼

I want to shout out all of the techs at remedy, I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to get clean and stay clean. The techs are amazing & super helpful thank you to Cesar, Andrew, Mike, Queen, Tina, Leo, Victoria and Malecia!! This was my first time in treatment, and didn’t know what to expect. The staff was kind and professional. The way therapy groups are structured, created a daily routine and schedule to simplify the path to recovery.
All staff were caring and supportive of all clients, but a few that really went the extra mile for me like Janie, Trish, Linda and Leigh really stood out to me. The sense of community and friendships I made, have definitely left a mark and had a hand in shaping my path in recovery.

I have had an amazing experience with this facility...recovery that sticks...from the new housing, great staff, and flexible food options...I was given the care I needed to get things right in my life and beat addiction...the staff is great, Jess my therapist is incredible to work with and can connect with anyone in a friendly way that can be appropriately tough when needs to be but is relatable and encouraging, it's obvious she loves what she does, my caseworker Janey gave me solutions that set me up for success during and after php level of care, and she goes above and beyond what's required to make things possible for us...last but not least I cannot forget the techs the blue that holds the place together. RBS techs are behind the scenes and available keeping everything running through the day and available 24 hours a day. They keep the place clean they get the beds ready they make sure we get to and from where we need to be. They also go out of their way getting us all the varies requests that we make that they don't necessarily have to do all in the kindness of their hearts... When we have bad days they still get the job done no matter where the clients are at or how they are being treated they're sensitive to the fact that sometimes we're difficult and our moods can go up and down trying to deal with so many new people while we're trying to get sober and learn coping skills. Out of all the techs I would have to say Taylor has gone above and beyond we had a rough start the first time that I tried to come through and I left... When I came back and actually finished this program you forgave me for how I was and has gone out of her way to help with little things that made big differences. She handles her daily responsibilities thoroughly and make sure things are done right and with care. Thank you RBS for this amazing experience I will be forever grateful!!!
P.S. special thanks to all the people involved in my recovery here but I haven't mentioned therapists, techs, caseworkers, doctors, nurses, clinical directors, and all of the incredible group facilitators that fed me what I needed to overcome the need to use substance helping find that I never had a substance issue that I had an issue with my life and the way things were going. For showing me a different solution for those troubles that don't lead to substance abuse.
Have someone close to me in this facility and it’s their second time, she explains an has told me how much she appreciates and cherish the professionalism and customer service. Nothing but good things from everyone I know who’s been through here and if I ever had a situation myself or someone close to me I wouldn’t even think twice I would pick this facility over any in Florida

This place saved my life if it wasn't for the staff I wouldn't know where I would be at this time. The staff was very attentive to all the patients there, They treat you like you family and the food is great. Lol Agape means live and they sure do show it. I would recommend this place for anyone with mental health issues or addiction issues.

Essentials has been SO important to my sobriety journey, I cannot thank them enough.
They take the time and care to get to know each client as an individual and then match them up with the best services to fit your needs. They cover all the bases with an interdisciplinary approach to substance issues and mental health - but more than that, they make you feel empowered to take charge of your own recovery.
Ps: They usually have snacks.

I am very grateful for having the opportunity to be a client at Harmony. I have been carrying alot of trauma and little hope until I met my therapist Stephanie. Suzanne, my case Manager, has a heart of gold and made sure that we found housing for me when the options were extremely limited. The entire clinical staff truly goes above and beyond. Raj is a great medical/psych provider and his right hand woman Selena is a SuperStar. The techs are under appreciated and so dedicated and patient with the clients.

When I came to the Women's Refuge, I was at the end of my rope holding on for dear life. Through the Biblical counseling, support groups and the unconditional love demonstrated by the entire staff, I was able to receive healing from my past. I now live in freedom because I know my identity is in Christ. They saved my life. I have a hope that is found in Jesus Christ. This is a wonderful, safe place to experience healing.
I don't think a day goes by that I don't thank dunklin and God for saving my son's life. Every time I got a phone call in the middle of the night I thought it was the police calling to tell me my son has died from an overdose. Through the mercy and the grace of God, Dunklin was put into my son's life and an entire family was forever changed. Thank you god and thank you dunklin for saving Bobby Ricchiuti.
