The quality (and quantity) of staff is impressive, and their personal investment in the success of each kid and family is genuine. Great communication, therapeutic services and follow-up. A gem of a program that helped set my teen son on a solid path to recovery. Follow-up one year later: The Alumni support is also amazing! As my teen son continued to navigate the challenge of recovery, the Alumni Support team provide guidance, monthly check-ins and jumped in to help when he had a relapse to get him immediately connected to resources in the area in which he lived. They always say, "Once a you're part of the family, you remain family." It is true - they live up to that promise. Can't say enough good things about this program overall.

I came from the First Responder Shatterproof program to the Sunset House Recovery / Meadows Counseling Center in Palm Beach Gardens. The transition was integrated and in-sync with the care I received from Shatterproof allowing me to capitalize on my journey efforts to recovery. I was really impressed by how much the Sunset / Meadows staff cares for the well-being of the residents. This isn’t the “big box” type of centers where it’s easy to get lost in the mix. The staff here took the time necessary to develop a solid relationship with me and my goals of getting back on track to a healthy life. The residential areas and clinical services are great and well-suited for those struggling with addiction. The setting really helped me to become more confident in myself. I have gone through recovery attempts in several treatment centers in my struggle for sobriety and I know what it feels like when you’re not a part of your own recovery process. When you are merely going through the motions without realistic assessments or goals. Sunset / Meadows has allowed me to be a part of my process in a healing manner that is well-rounded and thorough. I would 100% recommend this treatment center for continued care of those who are struggling to find a proper program.

I was very impressed with Sunset House and Meadows Recovery Center. I recently received treatment at the facility and I can honestly say that the experience was informative and rehabilitative with my struggles with alcohol addiction. The Center provided a safe comprehensive program where I came to know and more fully appreciate the issues I needed to deal with. They also gave me the necessary tools to have a positive recovery and avoid the pitfalls in life that would lead to relapse. I left Sunset House persuaded and encouraged to forge a healthy path for me and my loved ones. I can’t say enough about how great the experience was.

For ANY ONE who is struggling with a benzodiazepine addiction and/or dependence, in my case it was Klonopin & Xanax being prescribed DAILY by multiple psychiatrists for the past 10 years, GO TO NEW BEGINNINGS and they will help you to get your life back:)! From my very first phone call i was overwhelmed with the support and kindness by the entire staff. It's been a little over a month and i am no longer on the strong benzo's and have had NO withdrawal symptoms. This is a HUGE deal because i have tried to stop taking these drugs before and they have left me in such bad ways because it was too fast of a detox and i had no idea what i was doing, even when i followed they taper suggestions by my OWN DOCTOR:( The staff at NB are extremely knowledgeable. They listen to you, they support you, they don't judge you. They use one of THE BEST techniques for benzo detox, The Heather Ashton method, which was founded by a doctor in the UK. They understand the damage the drugs have done to the brain and they encourage a slow, steady recovery to fully heal the brain. Joy, my detox nurse, is one of the kindest people ever and really wants to see people get healed. She checks in with me EVERY day and takes her job very seriously. Robyn, my health coach, has been vital to my recovery as well. Her desire to help is evident and her friendliness is contagious. Peter, my psychiatric nurse practitioner, listens intently and is constantly making sure I am as comfortable as possible. Maribel, the receptionist, is the first face i see when i come to my appointments and she always greets me with a smile. Everybody at NB's CARES! I just began doing the amino acid IV therapy and i would HIGHLY recommend it to EVERY one. There is a bit of a learning curve but it is well worth taking the time to use this incredible treatment. I really cannot say enough great things about this program. I drive an hour and 15 minutes to each appointment and ever since i began the program i haven't thought twice about not continuing. I already feel like I am coming back to life. I cannot wait to meet the "real me" at the end of this. I will be FOREVER thankful to New Beginnings and the blessing they have been to my life.

My son was a patient two times. A year a half latet sober and thriving. The Family Program offered and facilitated by Miranda and Miss V is excellent. Both are very educated in addiction and how families need to educated so they can help their loved ones. Its a free therapy offered 4 times a week My son has been sober almost 2 years but I keep attending to learn and share strength and hope. This Luxury recovery was amazing the nurses, care, groups, and group facilitators, the food and the cafeteria staff, physical therapist (Charlie) therapist, (Melanie) EMDR (Olivia) therapist, alumni on staff (Ian and John) the atmosphere was absolutely beautiful. The recreation set up from Pickleball to volleyball to yoga and art. Were all totally impressive. The small touches like the grand piano the guitar and the musical instruments for people to have an outlet are amazing. I have never seen more caring, empathetic, and non-judgmental nursing staff with Nina, Rosemary, Chris, Kim, and Kim, Sharon and Stephanie and Demara And so many more. I love the foundations app. It keeps me in touch with the alumni and events and accountable with daily check ins. Ian for sharing that. It’s a wonderful tool. The Koi pond and waterfall were gorgeous pool And Jacuzzi, relaxing and the walks very refreshing. I am grateful for the opportunity to spend a couple of weeks here.

Hi I'm Michael Fulton ive been too coastal detox many times.Over the coarse of two years its a shame as too how many times it was .probably 20 times But it's not the place ,staff,medical or the therapist. I'm a alcoholic and been so for 45 years or more the family thats owns and runs coastal detox are so caring for addicts, alcoholics,and mental health they make sure and only hire people who have the same love,devotion towards the clients. I'm writing this because .(I'M FINALLY SOBER FOR OVER A YEAR) the first time in 50 plus years without being in JAIL,PRISON OR TREATMENT CENTER and between those 3 place in them many times BECAUSE OF MY ADDICTION but being honest about it. ALL of these places tried too help me (COASTAL DETOX) went above and beyond for ME coastal detox (MRS JUDY) I new treatment centers, detox, hospital, jails, BUT DIDNT know recovery I THANK GOD EVERY DAY THAT COASTAL DETOX LET ME GO BACK THERE ONE MORE TIME because everyone else were done with me. I'M SAYING ALL THIS TOO SAY YES ITS NICE TOO BE IN 5 STAR TREATMENT CENTER, DETOX IT MAKES IT EASIER THE STAFF SO HELPFUL AND KIND. Beachside was a very comfortable, clean, and calming environment. The staff were friendly and the small client population made for friendships and companionship. The nursing staff were also friendly and efficient. The food was good and options were offered at every meal. The single occupancy rooms were spacious and comfortable. The therapeutic sessions were informative and helpful. There were numerous leisure activities, as well. The intake process was lengthy and I urge the client to read the forms before signing. Beachside is worth looking into for residential rehab.

I have been here and did not appreciate until I saw what’s out there. I was lucky enough to be sponsored. I just have chronic insomnia and extreme anxiety, of course they would not let me take my prescription meds Long story short I didn’t sleep for 30 days perhaps 15 minutes to an hour a night but compared to everything else out there this was a golden opportunity. I should’ve stayed two more weeks as my friend was going to be in the Bahamas. My situation is alcohol. I thank the Hanley center very much for sponsoring me. I was so lucky. Sometimes you don’t realize it right away. It was only my second time in rehab when one other girl I knew had been in rehab 35 times. I must add this is no slouch of a rehab. There are people from very good homes and have gone even to Ivy League schools, but no one knew what the word insomnia meant which I found quite odd. I’ve been diagnosed my whole life with that. I felt like a guinea pig each night they tried to give me some psych med to put me to sleep. Finally, I gave up and would only take melatonin and maybe Advil it still didn’t put me to sleep…if I could turn the clock around I would go back and stay the extra two weeks my friend was in the Bahamas for two weeks when she was supposed to pick me up, so she wanted me to stay longer. I should have listened to her. I am looking into rehab centers now. The reviews are very scary and there is no one to sponsor me. After leaving it has been a total nightmare. The wrong person picked me up and they tried to scam me for $. perhaps I should give you five stars. I also should not have been drinking coffee cause that is caffeine. Hanley helped me accomplish what I could not do on my own. That is to learn how to live a happy and fulfilling sober life. I have never been to a rehabilitation facility before but I cannot imagine another facility that could be any better than Hanley has been to me. Both during, and even after I was a patient.

I went to The Beachcomber in 2020 after 12 years struggling as an alcoholic. What I walked into wasn’t what I expected after a few stints at other rehabs. They were tough, hard on us. They spoke the truth which is something I hadn’t heard. I didn’t get sober as soon as I left, but I did soon after and I am so thankful for the experience I had there. I came to Lighthouse last year with nothing—no Social Security card, no driver’s license, and everything I owned fit in a backpack. I went through the full program (PHP and IOP) and left with 9 months sober. Lighthouse may not be the biggest facility, but that’s actually what made my experience so impactful. I never felt like just a number. The staff genuinely cared, and you can feel that from the moment you walk in. There’s real support and real love there. By the time I completed the program, I was a completely different person. They didn’t just help me get sober—they helped me transition back into real life. Today, I have over a year sober, my own place, and stability I didn’t have before. Lighthouse also helped me take care of important life things like getting my Social Security card, driver’s license, and even setting me up for Hep C treatment. That kind of support goes way beyond what most places offer. Everyone there—from the owner to the techs—is involved and accessible, which says a lot about how the place is run. I highly recommend Lighthouse to anyone serious about getting their life back, especially being located in Delray Beach, the recovery capital.

My son was thrown out of two other recovery facilities, and he was a case that nobody else would take. We finally got a correct diagnosis and medications. He was there off and on for the better part of three years. That is the terrible nature of psychiatric illness. We have been stable now for four years, and have the best life possible. We owe it to Dr. Moran and his committed staff. The level of detail that he knows about every patient is amazing. You won't get that anywhere else, and the long list of medical schools that send their students to the facility speaks volumes as to the competency of the program. It is a medical program, and not all medical experiences and outcomes are good. I get it. Psychiatric illness is a terrible journey, and from a family member that has walked it for many years, I wish everyone the best possible outcome.

Our daughter is there for 3 weeks now and is showing more signs of improvement than we saw in years. Dr. Moran and the team really know what they are doing and have tools and desire to make a difference. Plus now we are more equipped then ever to keep on track for recovery once she comes back home, thanks to all education we received from FCRF. I finally have hope! I know if you are reading these reviews, you are desperate, same as I was a month ago. You don’t need to be, don’t wait! I recommend this place without reservation! Update: it has been almost 2 months after my daughter left FCFR and it’s the healthiest 2 months we’ve seen in a long while. She hasn’t used any substances, found a part time job which she loves, graduated her failing semester with As and Bs and about to get her drivers license! It’s not all rainbows and butterflies, we still need to work hard daily on keeping things on track, but now the hope is getting more real every day! 10 months update: FCFR has truly been a game changer for us! Now my daughter is just a difficult (normal) teenager, but the disaster and desperation is so far behind, it’s almost hard to recall how it has been. Now she is committed to getting better and going on with her life, and that’s the most important part. Of course there will be ups and downs, but the terror of being constantly afraid for her and of her is far behind and I never ever want to go back. If we ever go back (it gives me anxiety to even write those words), we know who to call. One last thing. There are a lot of comments about lack of tender, love and care at the facility. TLC FCFR does not provide indeed. But they provide something better: treatment THAT WORKS. I’m sure every story is different, but I’m also sure a lot of people have experienced the same thing I did: TLC does not treat psychiatric illness.

I don’t usually write reviews, but this place changed my life. I came here after an overdose and a heart attack, not knowing if I’d make it. Today, I’ve been sober since October 13th, 2021—and haven’t relapsed since. 🙏The staff truly cared and gave me the tools and support I still use every day. And honestly, the food was top notch too. 😮‍💨 If you’re struggling, this place can really make a difference. Forever grateful 🤍

Rock is unlike anywhere else. The staff from Steve, to Bri, and Erik to the amazing therapists in Mia/Nicole/hannah and incredible owners Ben and Tom is truly like a family. This isn’t a normal rehab, it’s a foundation to build your life and start rebuilding who you were before addiction. If there is an ounce of you that wants to get better, looking for a way out.. would highly recommend calling. The therapy is in-depth- with all being trained in EMDR. I have unfortunately had to come twice due to a lapse in my thinking, but was welcomed back with open arms. I’m currently 7 months sober (longest I’ve ever been since a teen) and owe it to Rock. Spent 6 months there getting this right and it was through them I’ve been able to begin to build my self back to who I was before the drinking/drugging. I’ve graduated the program but know if I needed anything.. I could anyone from the facility and they would always be there for me. The best way I could describe what Rock meant to me is Family. Dependable. IMO doing the Lords work. Thank you Rock for everything. I love you guys&gals

The only thing bad I can really say about this place is about the technicians. Some of them like prison gards controlling heartless ruthless, and they even abuse animals by physically kicking them, it was hard to watch even heart wrenching. Many of the women there came to get healing from their abusive relationships and upbringings, only to witness that.. I don't see the reason why they can't cause some kind of animal control or and the SPCA and have them fixed or put up for adoption as I saw there were female cats that have recently gave birth to kittens, and yes, they were the ones getting kicked too ,they were desperate for food. Other technicians, there were amazing and had amazing stories to identify with.They came from a loving place and only wanted to help.. ( Paige, DJ, and A.J.) Case management went above and beyond call.. Therapists were very knowledgeable, professional and extremely helpful.. Group therapy was big part of my healing there, Ray Robinson was an amazing life coach who facilitated the group with professionalism and wisdom.. Nursing staff and doctors were Clinically precise, and caring.. Mindful yoga and sound was a spiritual ✨️ journey everyone should take, its part of my daily routine now.. Thank you to the chiropractor and the masseuse, which I benefited immensely from **** But I have to say hands down the most beneficial aspect of that place was the clients themselves, i was showed support and love from each and every one of them, i will never forget them..

My husband went there for mental health and to detox from xanax. The people and staff were so amazing. He still isn't better but he did have some improvement and the fact he did is amazing. The staff did their best , but he is not trying to get better and that is a big part . I highly recommend this center

The facility looks just as the photos, very clean, bedding is so important and you have full size beds, redecorated and updated as well from my first visit years ago. And Tv for each patient. Laundry done descently. Physical quality and comfort level went for originally a 2.5 ⭐ a few years ago to a 4.5 ⭐ for me recently. Techs and interactive staff were assertive and pleasant. 4 ⭐ Ms. Lovely and Ashley are my favorites. 5 ⭐ Medical staff and med line was descent and caring for me. 4 ⭐ FOOD 2 ⭐😐🫤 NEEDS IMPROVEMENT but okish. Needs more choices of comfort food made better. It kind of tasted like cafeteria food they need more salad and fruit ideas and availability. But I will say everything's clean. Alumni Ashley very caring and inviting for comfortability and trust. Wonderful personality.5 ⭐ Hope this helps. This place right now accepts Sunshine health Medicaid. 5 ⭐ . Which makes it equal opportunity no matter what level of coverage you have. 🫶✌️🙏

I have EXTREMELY mixed feelings about this facility; seemed like I was in the middle of BAD GUYS vs GOOD GUYS… a waste of energy imo… if that energy could have been redirected, they’d have a serious POWERHOUSE! As far as —administration… it’s a hard NO. from ethics to simple handling: i feel like there was retaliation for a grievance I filed; I overheard more than one discussion between clinical director and his counseling staff about the specifics. ^^I feel like they definitely allowed politics and finances to dictate the navigation things rather than what was best for my personal recovery. BIG DOWNFALL imo.^^ On the other hand, I was AMAZED by the LOVE and RESPECT I was shown by a peppering of the staff!! There’s an extremely diverse group of folks here. I was made to feel welcomed, accepted, heard, and loved by so many of the precious individuals that work here: -the techs: such a bunch of overqualified, compassionate, interesting new friends; they always lend an ear and cater to whatever strange need I could conjure up -nurses: again… I had more sessions with nurses than counselors!!! They got me through one of the roughest times in my entire life! -counselors: the good ones made up for any slight if felt in the handling with others.. And a few employees, not sure where they belong..lol… were a wonderful part of my journey! BIG BIG THANK YOU to all that took time out of their lives, showed down, and really listened and shared of themselves!!!! You’re amazing humanbeings! *I WAS AT THIS FACULTY 28 DAYS******* Usually, patients stay about 5-12 days, so I had time to really get to know the deal🙃🙃🙃 ***********Patrick, Roslyn, Faith, Lana, Kiera, Rob, Katrina, Saniya .(I’m certain I’ve forgotten someone). I’m giving you all a RAISE!!! You guys helped change the course of my life and I love and cherish you for that!

My name is Heather Rosenberg and I was at Sunrise Detox in September 2025. I completed and went to php and then IOP, for 4 months. As of today I am 7 months and 3 days sober. My time at sunrise was life changing. Roselyn, the tech, went out of her way to talk to me and get to know me. She is the most empathic, and loving woman that I have ever met in detox. At first I wanted to AMA, and I would have if it wasn’t for her. She sat with me and had the most heartfelt conversation, and by the end of our talk, I decided to stay. If it wasn’t for her I would have left. She goes above and beyond for every single client, and does her job extremely efficiently. She should get a raise, or employee of the month. Thank you Roselyn for believing in me when I couldn’t believe in myself. And thank you for giving me hope again. She was the best employee there!!!
