BEST SUPPORT FOR YOUR CHILD. I can’t say enough about what they have did to help my child. He had tried numerous other programs. This is above anything else. They treat your child like a human being. Compassionate, caring in all aspects. Wonderful employees and clinical staff. So much support. My son completed 90 days and has decided to further his treatment because of the care this facility gave him. Do not try the others. This is the right place. From my heart I am so grateful for what they did.

I came from the First Responder Shatterproof program to the Sunset House Recovery / Meadows Counseling Center in Palm Beach Gardens. The transition was integrated and in-sync with the care I received from Shatterproof allowing me to capitalize on my journey efforts to recovery. I was really impressed by how much the Sunset / Meadows staff cares for the well-being of the residents. This isn’t the “big box” type of centers where it’s easy to get lost in the mix. The staff here took the time necessary to develop a solid relationship with me and my goals of getting back on track to a healthy life. The residential areas and clinical services are great and well-suited for those struggling with addiction. The setting really helped me to become more confident in myself. I have gone through recovery attempts in several treatment centers in my struggle for sobriety and I know what it feels like when you’re not a part of your own recovery process. When you are merely going through the motions without realistic assessments or goals. Sunset / Meadows has allowed me to be a part of my process in a healing manner that is well-rounded and thorough. I would 100% recommend this treatment center for continued care of those who are struggling to find a proper program.

I was very impressed with Sunset House and Meadows Recovery Center. I recently received treatment at the facility and I can honestly say that the experience was informative and rehabilitative with my struggles with alcohol addiction. The Center provided a safe comprehensive program where I came to know and more fully appreciate the issues I needed to deal with. They also gave me the necessary tools to have a positive recovery and avoid the pitfalls in life that would lead to relapse. I left Sunset House persuaded and encouraged to forge a healthy path for me and my loved ones. I can’t say enough about how great the experience was.

For ANY ONE who is struggling with a benzodiazepine addiction and/or dependence, in my case it was Klonopin & Xanax being prescribed DAILY by multiple psychiatrists for the past 10 years, GO TO NEW BEGINNINGS and they will help you to get your life back:)! From my very first phone call i was overwhelmed with the support and kindness by the entire staff. It's been a little over a month and i am no longer on the strong benzo's and have had NO withdrawal symptoms. This is a HUGE deal because i have tried to stop taking these drugs before and they have left me in such bad ways because it was too fast of a detox and i had no idea what i was doing, even when i followed they taper suggestions by my OWN DOCTOR:( The staff at NB are extremely knowledgeable. They listen to you, they support you, they don't judge you. They use one of THE BEST techniques for benzo detox, The Heather Ashton method, which was founded by a doctor in the UK. They understand the damage the drugs have done to the brain and they encourage a slow, steady recovery to fully heal the brain. Joy, my detox nurse, is one of the kindest people ever and really wants to see people get healed. She checks in with me EVERY day and takes her job very seriously. Robyn, my health coach, has been vital to my recovery as well. Her desire to help is evident and her friendliness is contagious. Peter, my psychiatric nurse practitioner, listens intently and is constantly making sure I am as comfortable as possible. Maribel, the receptionist, is the first face i see when i come to my appointments and she always greets me with a smile. Everybody at NB's CARES! I just began doing the amino acid IV therapy and i would HIGHLY recommend it to EVERY one. There is a bit of a learning curve but it is well worth taking the time to use this incredible treatment. I really cannot say enough great things about this program. I drive an hour and 15 minutes to each appointment and ever since i began the program i haven't thought twice about not continuing. I already feel like I am coming back to life. I cannot wait to meet the "real me" at the end of this. I will be FOREVER thankful to New Beginnings and the blessing they have been to my life.

Here it was built into the schedule in a real way, with a dedicated trauma therapist. This is a dicey review - only because everybody has their own different experiences with places like this. My personal opinion, don’t take reviews to heart. Everyone’s experience is different. Mine personally, was amazing. The staff was amazing. I’ve never stayed in a treatment center that long in my life… if you knew me, that would say a lot. I have been in and out of these facilities over 15+ years. It was very clean, I love the food, The rooms in residential were like a hotel room. They were beautiful. Best of all, the staff. From the techs all the way up to leadership, great people! The cleaning staff were on point! Huge shout out to Jordyn, Ashley, Anthony, Nick V, Roni, Rick, Penny, Corey, Harriet, Shay, Matt, and most of all my therapist, Jason. I don’t think I’ve would’ve stayed the amount of time that I stayed without my therapist, Jason. Along with the support from the staff. It was a great group of people when I was there. Truly amazing people, that wanted better. The only cons I can say about this facility, is the lack of communication between the departments. Nursing, techs and leadership are all on different communication levels, which can be become very complicated for the client. They should be more aware of medications that people need daily, so clients are not running out of medication’s… The techs need to be trained across the board on what’s right and what’s not right. Each tech had a different opinion or decision on something, with certain people.. That was the only real negative experience I had at this facility. Everything else was great, the staff and the clients! As I said, don’t take peoples reviews to heart. Everyone has a different experience when they’re going through this type of thing. I am very grateful for the support I had at The Haven in West Palm Beach. Truly. 🙏

Comprehensive Wellness Center played a major role in my recovery. They got me on the correct medications that were monitored and educated me about the amygdala hijack. What my brain was doing to me before I drank or drugged. Also, I was educated on great breathing exercises and grounding techniques that still help me today. They have amazing staff along with very clean places to do residential. I felt comfortable and safe and enjoyed groups. Their catered food is very good, also, they gave me a gift card so I can buy and cook what I enjoyed. I continued my sobriety after being successfully discharged and now live in their Sober home where I am accounted for, committed to and an active member of AA. Beachside was a very comfortable, clean, and calming environment. The staff were friendly and the small client population made for friendships and companionship. The nursing staff were also friendly and efficient. The food was good and options were offered at every meal. The single occupancy rooms were spacious and comfortable. The therapeutic sessions were informative and helpful. There were numerous leisure activities, as well. The intake process was lengthy and I urge the client to read the forms before signing. Beachside is worth looking into for residential rehab.

There are simply no words to express how deeply grateful our family is to the Hanley Center. I believe God led our son there at exactly the right time and that the people at Hanley were an answer to our prayers. Our son needed inpatient treatment for alcoholism, however, our local facility had no inpatient beds available. Outpatient treatment was offered, but it wasn’t enough. When we contacted Hanley, Renee Rogers and her entire admissions team immediately stepped in. They treated him as an emergency admit, worked with his insurance, and made the entire process happen quickly and seamlessly. When he landed at the airport, a car was already waiting for him. Their professionalism was matched by an extraordinary level of compassion and genuine care. My husband and I attended family week, which was truly life-changing. The education and guidance we received were phenomenal and gave us a much deeper understanding of addiction, recovery, and how we can support our son and our family moving forward. I strongly encourage every family to participate. Our son’s primary therapist, Michael Friedman, was simply exceptional. He is incredibly knowledgeable, personable, compassionate and gifted at what he does. We will forever be grateful for the role he played in our son’s recovery. Coming into another detox and rehab was not what I wanted to go through again. I was 3 1/2 hours away from home and just lost my job. Allure ending up being the best thing for me. I was able to focus on my sobriety and get the help I needed. The techs, counselors and nurses are very understanding and can relate to what we all were going through. I went to The Beachcomber in 2020 after 12 years struggling as an alcoholic. What I walked into wasn’t what I expected after a few stints at other rehabs. They were tough, hard on us. They spoke the truth which is something I hadn’t heard. I didn’t get sober as soon as I left, but I did soon after and I am so thankful for the experience I had there. When I came into Elan I was broken, I had no trust in rehab centers and they changed my way of thinking. They earned my trust and helped me save my life. The staff is truly the best hand picked employees a rehab center could have. All the therapists are phenomenal in what they do, they have all helped me and have gave me the criteria to live a honest clean sober life. The Techs are wonderful they’re so welcoming and do anything to make you comfortable, the lead techs Keri & Scott are so insightful. The family program that the therapist Lystra conducted was the most HEALING EXPERIENCE and has helped with a lifetime worth of damage. We keep in contact weekly and it’s the most beautiful relationship I’ve bonded with a therapist, thank you Lystra for all you do. The Director Barbara I will be forever grateful for she always made time to be there for me. The Clinical Medical staff knows what they are talking about and very understanding. Pastor Craig is the best motivational staff member he’s made a world of a difference in my life. Diane’s groups are AMAZING! I’ve learned so much about why I did what I’ve done and she has always been there for me. If you wanna get deep in the Big Book Larry can direct you with any question and answers you have. I was a recent patient at Genesis house. I found the property to be beautiful and spacious. All of the facilitators were knowledgeable and were concerned with getting the patients better. A year ago yesterday Kat picked me up from the airport. In 10 minutes, I'll be going to a meeting to pick up my 1-year chip ❤️ From the moment I picked up the phone and spoke with the rep, Trisha, I had an amazing experience! She and my sister helped me coordinate my trip, as I was in no condition to do so myself. Within hours I had an airplane ticket and a bed. The first week is a daze. But I was comfortable, taken care of, and well fed. They also accommodated my dietary needs. The med staff paid close attention, monitoring vitals, and doing extra check-ins as needed (ex: coming during the night to check blood pressure if too low). The medication made detox comfortable, and made me feel safe (a major reason I chose a center was fear of DTs/death). The staff doctor was great, too. While there, we were offered groups that were very beneficial. These included relaxation/meditation/ mindfulness sessions, communication classes, and chiropractic services. There were fun activities like tiedye and group painting. H & I also came in daily, or was run by house staff. This was my intro to AA, which I've come to love and embrace. The rooms were comfortable, with a TV for each bed (head phones provided). My particular roommate situation was incredible! 3 of us text regularly, and are certain to be lifelong friends. The grounds are beautiful! The courtyard is a lovely place to relax and socialize. The back yard area has activities like corn hole and yard nuts. There's a sandbox that I called my beach, and would lounge and journal with my feet in the sand. Initially, I planned on detox, only, and then returning to Michigan. When I realized that detox was only the first step, they had reps from rehab facilities visit to help coordinate the second step. Shout out to Kenny, Kat. Marissa, Kenith, Rick and Felicai. I'm sure staff has changed, and that I've forgotten many names. But I'll never forget the amazing people that helped me start my road to recovery.

Just spent a well needed 3wks at 1 solution detox. The entire staff is great. Directors , Doctors ,techs ,nurses and therapist all do their job with ❤️. I would definitely recommend treatment there to anybody struggling with a drug/alcohol disease. Rick W

The staff and program helped bring me back to myself, they put me on the right track for a successful recovery and I couldn’t be more grateful for them. They met my needs and more. They made me feel like my life was worth living and that’s all I could ask for, I’m excited for this journey and I’ll definitely be back to visit. Thank you guys so much ❤️
