I was assigned a case manager, Jennifer, who not only kept my treatment organized but supported me emotionally every step of the way. She helped coordinate everything—from therapy sessions to aftercare planning to helping me talk to my family again. My primary therapist, Matt, made an enormous impact. He didn’t just run through a script—he took the time to dig deep with me, identify my trauma, and help me develop real coping skills. We worked through things I had buried for years. The group therapy sessions led by Ashley were raw and transformative. She created a safe space where I could share, cry, and most importantly—heal. Melissa, part of the support staff, always made sure I was okay. Some days I didn’t need therapy—I just needed someone to sit with me or remind me to eat. Carlos, one of the techs in the sober living side, treated me like a human being when I was at my worst. They didn’t just do their jobs—they genuinely cared. The clinical structure here is solid. I was placed in a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) after detox, then moved into outpatient therapy and continued working on myself while staying in the sober living housing they set me up with. When I came into Elan I was broken, I had no trust in rehab centers and they changed my way of thinking. They earned my trust and helped me save my life. The staff is truly the best hand picked employees a rehab center could have. All the therapists are phenomenal in what they do, they have all helped me and have gave me the criteria to live a honest clean sober life. The Techs are wonderful they’re so welcoming and do anything to make you comfortable, the lead techs Keri & Scott are so insightful. The family program that the therapist Lystra conducted was the most HEALING EXPERIENCE and has helped with a lifetime worth of damage. We keep in contact weekly and it’s the most beautiful relationship I’ve bonded with a therapist, thank you Lystra for all you do. The Director Barbara I will be forever grateful for she always made time to be there for me. The Clinical Medical staff knows what they are talking about and very understanding. Pastor Craig is the best motivational staff member he’s made a world of a difference in my life. Diane’s groups are AMAZING! RU is a fabulous place if you are wanting to get clean/sober. I picked up the phone and made the call (again) and the alumni team went above and beyond to get me back into their detox. Thanks to everyone at RU for being there for me!

i came here two years ago it was my third attempt to get sober and it stuck. in all my worst times music always helped pull me through and although i couldn’t have my phone they gave me an ipod and uploaded my favorite artists and it gave me so much comfort. a lot of the staff are also in recovery so i trusted them and you can tell they actually care and want to see you get better. i love this place very much <3

This place is great made the right choice in going here. Megan was an amazing therapist who pushed me in ways others have not. The facilitators were amazing. Remix with Tyler and Mariah were by far some of the most impactful groups I’ve been apart of. The food was always on point which is always a huge benefit. The entire kitchen staff was amazing. Sarah and Chae not only provided some of the best food I’ve eaten but also were quick to make me feel at home having long talks after the dinner rush to going as far as making me chicken noodle soup when I was sick. The techs were awesome, Sammy is an absolute gangster and Keelie not only severed as the first person most people were welcomed by but one of the cheeriest and happy people that RU is lucky to have as a face of the company. If you or a loved one struggling I can not recommend this place enough. (Also has a nice gym if you are into that)
