The quality (and quantity) of staff is impressive, and their personal investment in the success of each kid and family is genuine. Great communication, therapeutic services and follow-up. A gem of a program that helped set my teen son on a solid path to recovery. Follow-up one year later: The Alumni support is also amazing! As my teen son continued to navigate the challenge of recovery, the Alumni Support team provide guidance, monthly check-ins and jumped in to help when he had a relapse to get him immediately connected to resources in the area in which he lived. They always say, "Once a you're part of the family, you remain family." It is true - they live up to that promise. Can't say enough good things about this program overall.

I came from the First Responder Shatterproof program to the Sunset House Recovery / Meadows Counseling Center in Palm Beach Gardens. The transition was integrated and in-sync with the care I received from Shatterproof allowing me to capitalize on my journey efforts to recovery. I was really impressed by how much the Sunset / Meadows staff cares for the well-being of the residents. This isn’t the “big box” type of centers where it’s easy to get lost in the mix. The staff here took the time necessary to develop a solid relationship with me and my goals of getting back on track to a healthy life. The residential areas and clinical services are great and well-suited for those struggling with addiction. The setting really helped me to become more confident in myself. I have gone through recovery attempts in several treatment centers in my struggle for sobriety and I know what it feels like when you’re not a part of your own recovery process. When you are merely going through the motions without realistic assessments or goals. Sunset / Meadows has allowed me to be a part of my process in a healing manner that is well-rounded and thorough. I would 100% recommend this treatment center for continued care of those who are struggling to find a proper program.

I was very impressed with Sunset House and Meadows Recovery Center. I recently received treatment at the facility and I can honestly say that the experience was informative and rehabilitative with my struggles with alcohol addiction. The Center provided a safe comprehensive program where I came to know and more fully appreciate the issues I needed to deal with. They also gave me the necessary tools to have a positive recovery and avoid the pitfalls in life that would lead to relapse. I left Sunset House persuaded and encouraged to forge a healthy path for me and my loved ones. I can’t say enough about how great the experience was.

For ANY ONE who is struggling with a benzodiazepine addiction and/or dependence, in my case it was Klonopin & Xanax being prescribed DAILY by multiple psychiatrists for the past 10 years, GO TO NEW BEGINNINGS and they will help you to get your life back:)! From my very first phone call i was overwhelmed with the support and kindness by the entire staff. It's been a little over a month and i am no longer on the strong benzo's and have had NO withdrawal symptoms. This is a HUGE deal because i have tried to stop taking these drugs before and they have left me in such bad ways because it was too fast of a detox and i had no idea what i was doing, even when i followed they taper suggestions by my OWN DOCTOR:( The staff at NB are extremely knowledgeable. They listen to you, they support you, they don't judge you. They use one of THE BEST techniques for benzo detox, The Heather Ashton method, which was founded by a doctor in the UK. They understand the damage the drugs have done to the brain and they encourage a slow, steady recovery to fully heal the brain. Joy, my detox nurse, is one of the kindest people ever and really wants to see people get healed. She checks in with me EVERY day and takes her job very seriously. Robyn, my health coach, has been vital to my recovery as well. Her desire to help is evident and her friendliness is contagious. Peter, my psychiatric nurse practitioner, listens intently and is constantly making sure I am as comfortable as possible. Maribel, the receptionist, is the first face i see when i come to my appointments and she always greets me with a smile. Everybody at NB's CARES! I just began doing the amino acid IV therapy and i would HIGHLY recommend it to EVERY one. There is a bit of a learning curve but it is well worth taking the time to use this incredible treatment. I really cannot say enough great things about this program. I drive an hour and 15 minutes to each appointment and ever since i began the program i haven't thought twice about not continuing. I already feel like I am coming back to life. I cannot wait to meet the "real me" at the end of this. I will be FOREVER thankful to New Beginnings and the blessing they have been to my life.

I'm writing this because .(I'M FINALLY SOBER FOR OVER A YEAR) the first time in 50 plus years without being in JAIL,PRISON OR TREATMENT CENTER and between those 3 place in them many times BECAUSE OF MY ADDICTION but being honest about it. ALL of these places tried too help me (COASTAL DETOX) went above and beyond for ME coastal detox (MRS JUDY) I new treatment centers, detox, hospital, jails, BUT DIDNT know recovery I THANK GOD EVERY DAY THAT COASTAL DETOX LET ME GO BACK THERE ONE MORE TIME because everyone else were done with me. I'M SAYING ALL THIS TOO SAY YES ITS NICE TOO BE IN 5 STAR TREATMENT CENTER, DETOX IT MAKES IT EASIER THE STAFF SO HELPFUL AND KIND. I have been to rehabs previously, however Beachside was the first rehab where the 12 steps were not a mandated expectation. It was truly a holistic experience, offering sound therapy, reiki, massages, fitness activities and more. The onsite gym, albeit small, offered dumbbells, treadmill, Peloton Bike, and a Nordic Row. I would have preferred if it included a few kettle bells, but overall the extent of the gym was more than I expected. The cafeteria was always clean and well stocked - the chefs were friendly and warm. Whether it was the salad bar or the amazing curated meals, or the classic cheeseburger - the food was never a source of concern for me. The entire staff was outstanding - from the Ops Manager Rasheed, down to every single BHT. House Keeping staff were muy bueno. Kitchen staff, therapists, recreational staff, I could go on and on with lists and praise. I have never felt so heard and so welcomed as I did by the Beachside employees. There were some inequities between the PHP and Residential program, but nothing that caused me any significant concern - just areas where I submitted suggestions to improve processes. I truly am thankful to Beachside for the serenity they provided while I was there and I would highly recommend them to anyone who has a need for Mental Health or Substance Use Rehab.

This place and the people at Bright Futures are truly something special. I’ve been through multiple rehab centers, and while each offered something helpful, I always ended up back in the same cycle—drinking, isolating, losing myself. I came to Bright Futures broken, scared, and exhausted—not just physically, but mentally and emotionally. It wasn’t just the substance use that nearly destroyed me, it was the lack of hope. From the very first phone call, I felt like I wasn’t just another intake. I spoke with someone who took the time to listen to my story, answer my questions about detox placement, insurance, and what to expect from PHP. I was skeptical at first. I didn’t believe in myself. But Bright Futures believed in me before I could. When I arrived at the facility in Boynton Beach, I was immediately welcomed with warmth and zero judgment. I was assigned a case manager, Jennifer, who not only kept my treatment organized but supported me emotionally every step of the way. She helped coordinate everything—from therapy sessions to aftercare planning to helping me talk to my family again. My primary therapist, Matt, made an enormous impact. He didn’t just run through a script—he took the time to dig deep with me, identify my trauma, and help me develop real coping skills. We worked through things I had buried for years. The group therapy sessions led by Ashley were raw and transformative. She created a safe space where I could share, cry, and most importantly—heal. Melissa, part of the support staff, always made sure I was okay. Some days I didn’t need therapy—I just needed someone to sit with me or remind me to eat. Carlos, one of the techs in the sober living side, treated me like a human being when I was at my worst. They didn’t just do their jobs—they genuinely cared. The clinical structure here is solid. I was placed in a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) after detox, then moved into outpatient therapy and continued working on myself while staying in the sober living housing they set me up with. The facility was clean, the food was good, the housing felt safe, and the schedule helped me rebuild my routine. The best thing about Bright Futures isn’t just the therapy or the services—it’s the people. Everyone from leadership to the cleaning staff seemed committed to helping us succeed. There were no shortcuts. Just honesty, consistency, and compassion. I left Bright Futures with a recovery plan, coping tools, a support network, and something I hadn’t had in a long time—hope. I still check in with some of the staff. They didn’t just get me sober; they helped me remember who I am and who I want to be. I have been here and did not appreciate until I saw what’s out there. I was lucky enough to be sponsored. I just have chronic insomnia and extreme anxiety, of course they would not let me take my prescription meds Long story short I didn’t sleep for 30 days perhaps 15 minutes to an hour a night but compared to everything else out there this was a golden opportunity. I should’ve stayed two more weeks as my friend was going to be in the Bahamas. My situation is alcohol. I thank the Hanley center very much for sponsoring me. I was so lucky. Sometimes you don’t realize it right away. It was only my second time in rehab when one other girl I knew had been in rehab 35 times. I must add this is no slouch of a rehab. There are people from very good homes and have gone even to Ivy League schools, but no one knew what the word insomnia meant which I found quite odd. I’ve been diagnosed my whole life with that. I felt like a guinea pig each night they tried to give me some psych med to put me to sleep. Finally, I gave up and would only take melatonin and maybe Advil it still didn’t put me to sleep…if I could turn the clock around I would go back and stay the extra two weeks my friend was in the Bahamas for two weeks when she was supposed to pick me up, so she wanted me to stay longer. I should have listened to her. I am looking into rehab centers now. The reviews are very scary and there is no one to sponsor me. After leaving it has been a total nightmare. The wrong person picked me up and they tried to scam me for $. perhaps I should give you five stars. I also should not have been drinking coffee cause that is caffeine. I went to The Beachcomber in 2020 after 12 years struggling as an alcoholic. What I walked into wasn’t what I expected after a few stints at other rehabs. They were tough, hard on us. When I came into Elan I was broken, I had no trust in rehab centers and they changed my way of thinking. They earned my trust and helped me save my life. The staff is truly the best hand picked employees a rehab center could have. All the therapists are phenomenal in what they do, they have all helped me and have gave me the criteria to live a honest clean sober life. The Techs are wonderful they’re so welcoming and do anything to make you comfortable, the lead techs Keri & Scott are so insightful. The family program that the therapist Lystra conducted was the most HEALING EXPERIENCE and has helped with a lifetime worth of damage. We keep in contact weekly and it’s the most beautiful relationship I’ve bonded with a therapist, thank you Lystra for all you do. The Director Barbara I will be forever grateful for she always made time to be there for me. The Clinical Medical staff knows what they are talking about and very understanding. Pastor Craig is the best motivational staff member he’s made a world of a difference in my life. Diane’s groups are AMAZING! The staff, therapist, groups, & adventure therapies are so amazing. I couldn't recommend Intrepid more for your journey in recovery. Everyone genuinely cares for you! Not to mention it's holistic activities are wonderful! Massages, acupuncture, yoga. It's such a great place to reset & find yourself after active addiction.

Genesis House pull me out the hole I was in. The staff was genuinely caring, kind, and supportive, and you can tell they actually care about the people there instead of just treating it like a job. My experience at archstone was very comfortable from the staff who welcomed me in with open arms and care shout out to sully. My favorite groups were ran by Danny. A true inspiration for me. And ran an awesome workout program. My therapist Trish is amazing. She Made me dig deep. She was also completely honest , which really helped me dig deep.My case manager makayla, also, did an amazing job.Nothing but love for arch stone i recommended for people who are serious about change. Thank you again to the whole staff.

A year ago yesterday Kat picked me up from the airport. In 10 minutes, I'll be going to a meeting to pick up my 1-year chip ❤️ From the moment I picked up the phone and spoke with the rep, Trisha, I had an amazing experience! She and my sister helped me coordinate my trip, as I was in no condition to do so myself. Within hours I had an airplane ticket and a bed. The first week is a daze. But I was comfortable, taken care of, and well fed. They also accommodated my dietary needs. The med staff paid close attention, monitoring vitals, and doing extra check-ins as needed (ex: coming during the night to check blood pressure if too low). The medication made detox comfortable, and made me feel safe (a major reason I chose a center was fear of DTs/death). The staff doctor was great, too. While there, we were offered groups that were very beneficial. These included relaxation/meditation/ mindfulness sessions, communication classes, and chiropractic services. There were fun activities like tiedye and group painting. H & I also came in daily, or was run by house staff. This was my intro to AA, which I've come to love and embrace. The rooms were comfortable, with a TV for each bed (head phones provided). My particular roommate situation was incredible! 3 of us text regularly, and are certain to be lifelong friends. The grounds are beautiful! The courtyard is a lovely place to relax and socialize. The back yard area has activities like corn hole and yard nuts. There's a sandbox that I called my beach, and would lounge and journal with my feet in the sand. Initially, I planned on detox, only, and then returning to Michigan. When I realized that detox was only the first step, they had reps from rehab facilities visit to help coordinate the second step. Shout out to Kenny, Kat. Marissa, Kenith, Rick and Felicai. I'm sure staff has changed, and that I've forgotten many names. But I'll never forget the amazing people that helped me start my road to recovery.

Just spent a well needed 3wks at 1 solution detox. The entire staff is great. Directors , Doctors ,techs ,nurses and therapist all do their job with ❤️. I would definitely recommend treatment there to anybody struggling with a drug/alcohol disease. Rick W

The staff and program helped bring me back to myself, they put me on the right track for a successful recovery and I couldn’t be more grateful for them. They met my needs and more. They made me feel like my life was worth living and that’s all I could ask for, I’m excited for this journey and I’ll definitely be back to visit. Thank you guys so much ❤️
