Great place, great atmosphere for recovery you have to put in the work nothing comes easy but you have to go ready and willing to do the work.great clinical team, housing team, techs, physician, and therapist team. They really take the time to get to know you and show their genuine care for their clients but they can only do so much you have to want it. I would definitely recommend this place.

You don’t have to tackle this alone! I felt helpless but knew I had to do something, so I googled and thank God Pinnacle came up first! I gave them a call and they were super kind, knowing what I was going through, and were able to get me in the next day! Dr Joe is amazing, and their whole staff is understanding and even better, caring!!! Judgement free zone here and they want nothing more than to help you follow the right path!!! Thank you all!!! I am completely impressed. Coastal Detox and residential is absolutely gorgeous, well maintained, clean, and on the ball. The staff is 24/7, from nurses to Techs, doctors, therapists and counselors. Three chefs that are over the top with beautifully prepared meals, even made to order if I did not like what was on the menu. Judy was available every single day, and evenings as well. I saw an influx of anywhere from 29 to 45 patients handled professionally and seamlessly. Shout out to Karen for helping me through my first week. Her kind words and support motivated me to stay and get the help I needed. All the Techs are kind, funny, patient and I felt safe the entirety of my 40 day stay. Doctor Amanda is brilliant. The only doctor I ever trusted. Thank you so much Amanda for helping me with my anxiety. Shout out to Claire and Catherine, my therapists. I saw them every single day. Intelligent, compassionate, beautiful women genuinely interested in listening and getting my needs met. 10 stars to the nursing staff! I have never witnessed a team of better educated, concientios and patient women and men, doing a 100% job, all day, all night, every single day. Wow. I could go on, because everyone and everything at Coastal Detox was above par and they saved my life. I cried when I left, and I hope to see you guys in my new, healthy, sober community soon! Ambrosia in Port St. Lucie is an incredible facility with outstanding professionals. Nadine was my therapist and she was an absolute 10/10 clinician—incredibly supportive, skilled, and impactful. Additionally, James, who ran the family groups, was phenomenal in his approach. Even though my own family wasn't present, the environment he created allowed us to support one another seamlessly—such as reading letters out loud to stand-in family members in the audience. It created a deeply powerful space for healing grief. Now, eight years sober, I highly respect their professionalism and would recommend their program to anyone looking for true support.

The admissions team is professional, knowledgeable, and empathetic (Specifically Alan) which reassured me that I came to the right place. The admissions process was seamless! I’m beyond grateful for the care and support my sister received here. The therapists and counselors are incredibly knowledgeable and approachable, always going above and beyond to help work through challenges at your own pace. The mental health support is just as strong as the substance abuse treatment, making a huge difference in her journey. I can’t say enough amazing things about this facility!

This place saved my life. The views outside are phenomenal, the staff is phenomenal. My therapist is hunter, and he does a fantastic job at making you feel comfortable and safe to open up. Make sure you get a chance to meet Mike, just make sure you don't have the same last night as someone from Seinfeld. I met some amazing people here, everyone was so kind and calm. It's just an amazing place to go. If you're dealing with any type of addiction, definitely check this place out. I'm excited to move onto PHP, IOP, then change my life for the better. I can’t say enough good things about this residence and detox, I came here thinking I would just get sober, but they have completely shifted my Point of View on my whole way of thinking. The staff here are so ridiculously accommodating, Sheldon, Amanda, Gene and Katie are some of the most caring individuals I have had the pleasure of interacting with. If you are thinking of sending yourself or a close friend or family member to their facilities I strongly recommend this place. There therapists are top notch and always ask the right questions! The food that is served is above and beyond! I truly think that they all love what they do and the energy is palpable as soon as you walk in the door…. I will certainly use this as a reference resource to others who are struggling!

This was my first time in treatment, and didn’t know what to expect. The staff was kind and professional. The way therapy groups are structured, created a daily routine and schedule to simplify the path to recovery. All staff were caring and supportive of all clients, but a few that really went the extra mile for me like Janie, Trish, Linda and Leigh really stood out to me. The sense of community and friendships I made, have definitely left a mark and had a hand in shaping my path in recovery.

I have had an amazing experience with this facility...recovery that sticks...from the new housing, great staff, and flexible food options...I was given the care I needed to get things right in my life and beat addiction...the staff is great, Jess my therapist is incredible to work with and can connect with anyone in a friendly way that can be appropriately tough when needs to be but is relatable and encouraging, it's obvious she loves what she does, my caseworker Janey gave me solutions that set me up for success during and after php level of care, and she goes above and beyond what's required to make things possible for us...last but not least I cannot forget the techs the blue that holds the place together. RBS techs are behind the scenes and available keeping everything running through the day and available 24 hours a day. They keep the place clean they get the beds ready they make sure we get to and from where we need to be. They also go out of their way getting us all the varies requests that we make that they don't necessarily have to do all in the kindness of their hearts... When we have bad days they still get the job done no matter where the clients are at or how they are being treated they're sensitive to the fact that sometimes we're difficult and our moods can go up and down trying to deal with so many new people while we're trying to get sober and learn coping skills. Out of all the techs I would have to say Taylor has gone above and beyond we had a rough start the first time that I tried to come through and I left... When I came back and actually finished this program you forgave me for how I was and has gone out of her way to help with little things that made big differences. She handles her daily responsibilities thoroughly and make sure things are done right and with care. Thank you RBS for this amazing experience I will be forever grateful!!! P.S. special thanks to all the people involved in my recovery here but I haven't mentioned therapists, techs, caseworkers, doctors, nurses, clinical directors, and all of the incredible group facilitators that fed me what I needed to overcome the need to use substance helping find that I never had a substance issue that I had an issue with my life and the way things were going. For showing me a different solution for those troubles that don't lead to substance abuse.

You have to stay ahead of appointments, prescriptions, medications, etc. Dr Kepfer is experienced and knowledgeable psych Dr. she will guide you in the right direction. As a patient you have to follow through with orders. Mental health is difficult. We have to be proactive about our self care and educate ourselves on diagnosis. Medication is a “helper.” I, you, all patients must learn about your disease. Group therapy is an excellent way to learn about yourself, triggers, coping mechanisms, side effects, etc. If you’re not willing to help yourself, you can’t expect your dr to fix everything.

Went into the program after the COVID era. Did NOT want to go at first, or be sober, but it was either this or Jail. Went into the program, was almost dismissed a few times cause of my childish actions, and somewhere along the lines i started to actually "work" the program. I found JOY, HAPPINESS, and CHARACTER. Became a man i was okay looking myself in the mirror, and someone who loves the Lord and all he is doing in this world. Ended up staying past the program for a few years to continue growing myself before leaving before becoming staff. Still engaged with the ministry and love going out to visit. This place is Special !! Its not an easy program, it may feel weird or foreign at first, but i know this: If you want a real shot at a different life, this is the place to do it. I didn't even want to be sober going into this place, and now life looks completely different. I am a man of faith now, and will forever be grateful for Dunklin, the staff, and the many chances they gave me to get it right. If you want it bad enough, this place will give you the opportunity to change it around.

I don't think a day goes by that I don't thank dunklin and God for saving my son's life. Every time I got a phone call in the middle of the night I thought it was the police calling to tell me my son has died from an overdose.
