Hi I'm Michael Fulton ive been too coastal detox many times.Over the coarse of two years its a shame as too how many times it was .probably 20 times But it's not the place ,staff,medical or the therapist. I'm a alcoholic and been so for 45 years or more the family thats owns and runs coastal detox are so caring for addicts, alcoholics,and mental health they make sure and only hire people who have the same love,devotion towards the clients. I'm writing this because .(I'M FINALLY SOBER FOR OVER A YEAR) the first time in 50 plus years without being in JAIL,PRISON OR TREATMENT CENTER and between those 3 place in them many times BECAUSE OF MY ADDICTION but being honest about it. ALL of these places tried too help me (COASTAL DETOX) went above and beyond for ME coastal detox (MRS JUDY) I new treatment centers, detox, hospital, jails, BUT DIDNT know recovery I THANK GOD EVERY DAY THAT COASTAL DETOX LET ME GO BACK THERE ONE MORE TIME because everyone else were done with me. I'M SAYING ALL THIS TOO SAY YES ITS NICE TOO BE IN 5 STAR TREATMENT CENTER, DETOX IT MAKES IT EASIER THE STAFF SO HELPFUL AND KIND. ( BUT PLEASE DON'T BE LIKE ME AND TAKE IT ALL FOR GRANTED) IM THE ONLY KID MY MOM HAS LEFT BECAUSE OF ADDICTION IM SO GRATEFUL FOR COASTAL IVE NOT TOUCHED A DROP OF ALCOHOL SENCE I LEFT THERE NOW IM ABLE TO TAKE CARE OF MY MOM WHO LOST EVERYTHING BECAUSE OF ALCOHOL AND DRUGS SEE SHE NEVER USED ANYTHING BUT LOST EVERYTHING BECAUSE OF ADDICTION. (SO THE NEXT TIME THE THOUGHT COMES YOUR NOT HURTING ONLY YOU BUT EVERY OTHER PERSON WHO MIGHT NEVER HAVE USED BUT LOST ALL HER KIDS AND 5 GRANDKIDS AS WELL. ADDICTION DON'T PLAY. I don’t usually write reviews, but this place changed my life. I came here after an overdose and a heart attack, not knowing if I’d make it. Today, I’ve been sober since October 13th, 2021—and haven’t relapsed since. 🙏The staff truly cared and gave me the tools and support I still use every day. How to explain it cause dr betty is very nice and sometimes if you need help then she always take you in very early and the staff in the front office they are very nice but don't let the bad vibes hurt/fool you because the new horizons stuart is always here to help or the injection from fort pierce to stuart injection staff that gives me the injection every 3 month's they are helpful and nice so if you need help again then new horizon stuart they got your back with meds. (:

This was my first time in treatment, and didn’t know what to expect. The staff was kind and professional. The way therapy groups are structured, created a daily routine and schedule to simplify the path to recovery. All staff were caring and supportive of all clients, but a few that really went the extra mile for me like Janie, Trish, Linda and Leigh really stood out to me. The sense of community and friendships I made, have definitely left a mark and had a hand in shaping my path in recovery.

I have had an amazing experience with this facility...recovery that sticks...from the new housing, great staff, and flexible food options...I was given the care I needed to get things right in my life and beat addiction...the staff is great, Jess my therapist is incredible to work with and can connect with anyone in a friendly way that can be appropriately tough when needs to be but is relatable and encouraging, it's obvious she loves what she does, my caseworker Janey gave me solutions that set me up for success during and after php level of care, and she goes above and beyond what's required to make things possible for us...last but not least I cannot forget the techs the blue that holds the place together. RBS techs are behind the scenes and available keeping everything running through the day and available 24 hours a day. They keep the place clean they get the beds ready they make sure we get to and from where we need to be. They also go out of their way getting us all the varies requests that we make that they don't necessarily have to do all in the kindness of their hearts... When we have bad days they still get the job done no matter where the clients are at or how they are being treated they're sensitive to the fact that sometimes we're difficult and our moods can go up and down trying to deal with so many new people while we're trying to get sober and learn coping skills. Out of all the techs I would have to say Taylor has gone above and beyond we had a rough start the first time that I tried to come through and I left... When I came back and actually finished this program you forgave me for how I was and has gone out of her way to help with little things that made big differences. She handles her daily responsibilities thoroughly and make sure things are done right and with care. Thank you RBS for this amazing experience I will be forever grateful!!! P.S. special thanks to all the people involved in my recovery here but I haven't mentioned therapists, techs, caseworkers, doctors, nurses, clinical directors, and all of the incredible group facilitators that fed me what I needed to overcome the need to use substance helping find that I never had a substance issue that I had an issue with my life and the way things were going. For showing me a different solution for those troubles that don't lead to substance abuse.

I walked into this facility not knowing what to expect at all. It was hands down the best decision I have ever made when it came to dealing with my addiction and my life. From the staff to all the other clients. I can’t say enough!! YOU GET WHAT YOU PUT INTO IT!!!!! I personally I had life changing experience. I was able to RESET myself and find the person that I knew I could be. If you are in the fence about something like this... get out of your comfort zone - take the step for yourself!! You will not regret it!!

This place saved my life. I was there July 2016. I’m from Boston, Massachusetts. I have state insurance. I’m someone who not in their wildest dreams could ever afford a treatment facility that wasn’t state funded. Been to many over the course of my addiction, last 15yrs. State insurance of course made it almost impossible to find an open bed if you didn’t call at exactly the right time that bed becomes available. I spent weeks calling these places everyday all day. I called addiction treatment hotlines so many times they practically knew who I was. I came to the conclusion that if I was to get the proper treatment it’s gonna cost thousands of dollars. At the time I couldn’t afford a hot dog! Then I was offered the opportunity of a lifetime. My stepdad offered to help pay for me to go to an out-of-state rehab. My girlfriend and I both started making calls to find a place in my price range. Executive Recovery offered to negotiate with me. The very next day I was on a plane to Florida. From the very beginning of my intake they went above and beyond to help in anyway they could to start my recovery off on the right foot. Again this coming from someone who’s only ever been to state funded treatment facilities. I’ve never been to such a place even on vacation. Our treatment plan was, Group Therapy, Monday-Saturday 9-4, each group focusing on a different aspect of addiction with a different group leader. Which I was blown away by the the therapists leading the groups. Every one of them had their own past history involving addiction. It wasn’t just a job for them. Every one of them happy to be there helping other addicts achieve lasting sobriety. Never once did I feel judgement by anyone. You can’t fake sincerity like that. Sunday was a mandatory sober activity. My fellow addicts in treatment with me were all amazing people from all over the country. People who actually wanted to be there, who paid big $$ to be there. Not people being forced or court ordered to be there and can’t wait to get out and back to the life. The dynamic was unlike anything I’ve ever experienced in other treatment places. Being in an environment surrounded by people wanting to better themselves was a huge factor in my success. Some people complained about not getting what was promised in their website, blah blah blah. But me? I was nothing but grateful I was given this opportunity. I didn’t care much that there wasn’t a masseuse for massage therapy. Seriously I’m poor and never had a massage in my life. So not a priority. Even without the massage therapy😂I’m still sober today, go figure!

I contacted Chaute re: learned behavior my toddler picked up in a former daycare. She listened, digested, and created a plan of action for my kiddo. Kim is one of the best therapists I've had the opportunity to receive services from. I began therapy at a very chaotic and uncertain time in my life, and through therapy, she helped me understand the roots of my issues and provided solid advice for tackling it. She's empathetic, patient, and direct. She wasn't afraid to point out issues in my behavior and thought processes, and it was that honesty, combined with her empathy, that really helped empower me to better take responsibility for my life. She really does care for her patients, and if you're someone who is struggling in life and you need help, she's one of the best therapists to work with, especially in the Martin County area. When I stopped therapy, I wasn't as grateful as I should have been. Looking back on it, her services changed my life and helped me recognize how important it was that I take action to move my life forward and take responsibility for the times I've hurt myself and other people.

We toured last Friday with marina and today we brought my father in law there to look he was very impressed with the layout the brightness and the food. The food was fresh and made to his liking not like most places. Marina sat with us during dinner and answered all of our questions from a to z. Lou was amazing as well on our tour. This place saved my life. Where do I start… Taylor is the matriarch that definitely believes in 2nd chances and will go above and beyond if you practice and show commitment. Stephanie is like the Big sister you need when you’re slipping and need somebody to pull you back up and will DEFINITELY tell you like it is! Rod (My therapist) the gentle giant. Someone you can lean on when times get tough and spill all your guts out to… Good bad indifferent, he gonna listen and have a solution. I love all the staff at ambrosia. They saved my daughter’s life. The nurses and all the staff are incredible. I would like to give a specific shout out to Katelyn Macias “my child’s therapist”. We absolutely love her. From day one, she made our daughter feel seen, understood, and genuinely supported. She listens with compassion, communicates clearly, and creates a safe space where our daughter can open up without fear or pressure. The progress our daughter has made is a direct reflection of her therapist’s dedication, patience, and skill. She doesn’t just “do her job” she truly cares, and it shows in every session, every update, and every thoughtful insight she shares with us as parents. I’m pretty sure I drove her crazy with all my messages while my husband was there, but she responded promptly every single time and never once made me feel like a bother. She truly went above and beyond, and I’m so grateful for her. My husband told me that everyone treated him extremely well and made him feel safe, supported, and respected. He is so thankful he went — and honestly, so am I. He could’ve walked out at any moment, but because of how welcoming, encouraging, and loving the staff is, he stayed and fought through the hard days.
