After 28 days, my loved one was sent home without follow up. All we needed was appointments to be arranged before he left the facility. Nothing else. He was discharged on a Thursday and should have appointment cards in hand for psychologist and psychiatrist the next week as discussed in our meeting with his therapist. Banyan left me to be the exhausted caretaker, social worker, and everything else. I am so disappointed that after care was not provided. The place seemed promising and caring. I hope this is remedied immediately. If so I will change the review. I left a message for his therapist tonight. It was hard to get him to go voluntIly to be admitted and I would appreciate follow up and follow through. Banyan can not expect their patients to find their own therapist. You know the issues and a good match after a month of inpatient care. Banyan left a big gap in care. We live local. There was no excuse not to find specific follow up care that aligned with his needs. Since banyan said the offered a year long program. It would be nice to have follow up and referral to vocational rehab. The let him walk away without skills to succeed. PS I got the same automatic cold reply in 22 minutes like other reviewers further reminding me they don't care.
