Edit: Dr. Cordero-Torres is the medical director and he also oversees the Broward Health psych ward. He makes MAJOR cash. When I had primo insurance he made sure to take advantage of it.

I recently had outpatient surgery at Jupiter Medical Center and the experience was amazing. My surgeon was Dr. Leary, who is also my doctor/oncologist. The entire team from the check in staff, nurses, anesthesiologists and my surgeon were extremely friendly, caring and professional. Every single person I encountered from the time I walked in the front entrance to the time I was wheeled out to my husband after being discharged made me feel comfortable and at ease. Thank you Jupiter Medical Center for making a stressful event tolerable!

Cyrus Kavasmaneck might very well KILL YOU.
He discharged me with a pulse of 38. He lied and said he administered a Saline Drip and IV when one was never given. They never pierced my skin. They let the drip soak up into a sponge and when I caught them "Cyrus Kavasmaneck/ Jupiter Medical" they "discharged " me. Cyrus Kavasmaneck should be investigated for Malpractice. And for breaking his Hippocratic oath.

I have written both positive and negative reviews about this hospital back to back because I simply didn’t know how I felt about this place at first. But now I have made up my mind, and I’ve decided to give a full star rating, as crazy as that may sound at first, because of all the negative comments. I’m not giving this place a low rating simply because of the fighting and the other negativity that occurred in this facility because that can literally happen at any mental hospital. I have learned many things since I came here. I learned that life was worth living for and that fighting people is wrong. I fought two other residents when I was over there and my therapist and doctor rightfully punished me for it. They took away my Captain status and my PGB privilege, so I couldn’t go anywhere besides school. Honestly I was lucky that’s ALL that happened for assaulting those girls. Because that was a crime. Before that happened, I tried to fight this other girl just because she said something about me that made me upset, but I honestly had it coming because I was instigating (it was a LONG story), and nothing gave me a right to try to fight her.
Anyway, before I came to SP, I was a disaster. I was experiencing active suicidal ideation and was self harming multiple times a week. I attempted suicide one time by drinking Pine-Sol. Around the time I got sexually assaulted by my mom’s ex boyfriend so that just made the suicidal ideation worse. I was suicidal before I got raped, by the way. So therefore, if I had not been admitted to Sandy Pines, I probably would’ve been killed myself. I had a loving and caring therapist and psychiatrist and honestly I never had a bad experience with any of the staff. I have intense remorse for attacking those two people and I haven’t fought anyone for 5 years now. Since I left SP, there were times that I relapsed with the suicidal ideation, attempts, and self harm, but recently I have been improving. Now I’m in college and I’m graduating in the fall semester with my associates degree in education. I plan on being an elementary teacher in the future. I’m still working on myself. And I gotta say, going to Sandy Pines is part of my success story.

I went there as a patient and it was good awesome staff Mr. Fernando as well as Mrs. M. And Mrs Lillin and Mr Matt and obviously Mrs Ava. I loved the place needs some cleaning though I never got to shout out anyone because I left so early but the staff were very awesome in general. Thank you so much. I did leave more depressed though. I was on manatee.

I was here in 1990. The staff (at that time) payed as much attention to one as they did with all. I felt safe and the staff made sure of that. I ate well and the activities were plentiful. The "rope course" was the best.

In 2020, I went to the Aloha house in West Palm, after treatment. I was a chronic relapser and out of hope. The structure and support at the house set my feet on a path of victory and recovery. I'm almost 5 years sober today, reunited with my husband and 3 children, and helping others out of addiction. I'm not sure where I would be if I had not found Aloha. My experience at Beachway was not perfect, as nothing truly is. However, I would not change a single thing. I learned so much and was embraced and understood for what feels like the first time in my life. Words can not express how thankful I am for the staff, the therapist, and the facility as a whole. I want to specifically thank Tripp, my primary therapist, and Brandon, my trauma therapist. Without these two gentleman I would not be living the life I am today. As I write this I have almost 7 months sober, moving into my own place, have a great job, and so many connections within the recovery community. I go to sleep often without worry, I breathe more calmly, and I am at peace almost daily. I love my life today, and that is in part thanks to Beachway! They will forever have a place in my heart. Future’s has truly been life changing for me. The community-based structure, paired with a consistent and thorough curriculum, created the foundation I needed to grow in recovery. It’s not an easy process—and it shouldn’t be—but the hard work has been worth every step.
What stood out most were the people, the programs, and the facilities. The staff, from my therapist to the alumni coordinators, were incredibly supportive and genuinely invested in my progress. I also appreciated the evening activities like karaoke and bingo, which brought some fun and balance to the experience.
The alumni services are exceptional, offering 2 weekly calls, Thursdays on-campus meetings, and quarterly 2 day immersion programs that help keep recovery on track even after graduation.
I’m proud to have completed the 30-day residential program and I look forward to continuing my recovery journey with Future’s.

I was at Beach House, which was a nightmare compared to futures. Once I got transferred to Futures, I felt like I was in a house of zen. The staff were extremely caring, the amenities were great, the groups were powerful, and the entire energy in the place was pure love. I go back for alumni Thursdays meetings when I can, because Chris leads an amazing group, including the patients. This really helps me, by giving the patients advice of what to do and what not. Service is key to staying clean. Love you guys.

My addiction to alcohol was so strong, it changed the person that I was.. I became Miserable, sick and extremely tired.. I kept going to get help wherever I can.. NY, Mass, Conn, even West Palm beach in 2012. I suffered for 20 years trying to stay sober. So I made yet another attempt in 2021 by calling a random Treatment center from Google. I had no idea my world would get better , one day at a time. From Talking to Kris every day, until I could get there to my in-take with the patient and kind admission staff and don’t get me started on Judy church.. She runs this center yet, she went to my storage room in the pouring rain and slid under the gate ( you couldn’t stand in that room) and pulled my bags of clothes so they wouldn’t get moldy and I needed things to wear. Oh , wait, she did that TWICE! So now there’s those absolute wonderful Therapists who I still communicate with to this day. Shout out to SUSAN, JANICE, AMY and ALL the staff that helped me along the way. I relapsed 3 times in 2 years and Costal is always there waiting for you with open arms.. Coastal Detox is one incredible experience when trying to get sober. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND COASTAL DETOX… I am now Over 2 years sober and I went to say hello to everyone both years on my anniversary . I went into Coastal Detox on January 6th 2024 and was lost and didn’t know what I needed, I just knew I needed help and didn’t want to continue living the way I was. This was my 2nd time trying rehab / detox. I’m very grateful to be able to have gone into their outpatient program after doing inpatient detox and it was one of the best things I ever did. I was blessed to have Katelynn as my therapist during my inpatient detox, she was very patient, kind, caring and actually made me feel heard for the first time in a very long time I was able to rebuild my ability to start to trust thanks to Katelynn’s professional approach. I wasn’t committed at the start but with encouragement from The Tucker and Church family (the owners) and from the professionals like Katelynn, Susan, Janice and Amy and other members of staff I felt it would be in my best interest to continue working together via their outpatient program after my 17 days in detox. I learned how to deal with life on life’s term and work on many characteristic defects I didn’t know I had on a deeper level. I’m grateful for Coastal Detox because they genuinely cared about me and it was a blessing to be able to detox properly and safely under the supervision of nurses. The food was excellent and so were all the group sessions. They even had ping pong! I’m humbled by my experiences here and beyond thankful for Judy and Ross and their team and families for all they do. Now I’m able to have a foundation to build off of, attend my meetings and be a good father figure to my Son, and even hold a really good job. I haven’t missed a day off work in the last 18 months and life continues to get better. I got a sponsor, work the steps and try to share my experience strength and hope to those I cross paths with. I’ve reconnected my relationship with my higher power and I’m genuinely grateful for everything Coastal Detox has done for me and my life. Beachside Rehab has completely changed my life. I stayed in residential for 30 days, switched to PHP for 14 days and am now transitioning into IOP. If I could utilize this facility forever, I would probably never leave, but they gave me the help and confidence to fully trust myself and my environment to move on from Beachside.
Molly Graham is an amazing therapist who really helped me through my family issues and navigate my new diagnosis. She always made time for me even when it wasn't a session day. She never made me feel less than for not know how to handle certain situations and she always found a way to greet me almost every single day.
Diana is the best trauma therapist I have ever had the pleasure of working with. Her technique and ability to really speak to your mind and soul is like nothing else. She really is a special human and therapist who individualize her therapy to fit each person.
The BHT's are always an amazing comfort during your stay here and really take the time to get to know everyone individually.

Beachside is a wonderful environment that truly cares about your goals and needs. If you're in need on inpatient therapy I would highly suggest this place. At first I really did not want to come but I met many lifelong friends and really discovered myself. The building is clean and well cared for. The staff is lovely, and will accommodate you best they can. The pool, gym, and other amenities are very nice and well kept. I highly recommend anyone who needs a little mental health help/ or a lot, to choose beachside.

I just left allure and it checking myself in and staying there to complete the residential after detoxing was the best decision I’ve made in decades. The clinical director Brad and the operations director Joey have an amazing staff around them. Most are in recovery and they UNDERSTOOD me. Going to treatment can be nerve wracking and their team made sure I was comfortable and welcomed. I spent over 3 weeks there and not once did I feel out of place or unsafe. They helped me work through all of the problems i had in my life when I admitted myself in the wake of my active addiction and I left with a purpose and the guidance and aftercare I needed to remain sober in the future. There’s no magic pill or wand to cure sobriety but they genuinely care and motivate you to put in the work and learn the tools to stay clean. If you’re tired of the consequences and pain/suffering from active addiction then find a way to get into allure right now. They’ll save your life and help you build a new one.

I had my doughs when I first came intrepid. It turned out to be the best place for me to get and stay sober!!! I’ve been sober now for nine months… I truley owe my life to the staff and therapists there!! Everyone truley cares for you and the education I received in regards to making a psychic change , and gaining tools to get and stay sober were priceless. When I came into Elan I was broken, I had no trust in rehab centers and they changed my way of thinking. They earned my trust and helped me save my life. The staff is truly the best hand picked employees a rehab center could have. All the therapists are phenomenal in what they do, they have all helped me and have gave me the criteria to live a honest clean sober life. The Techs are wonderful they’re so welcoming and do anything to make you comfortable, the lead techs Keri & Scott are so insightful. The family program that the therapist Lystra conducted was the most HEALING EXPERIENCE and has helped with a lifetime worth of damage. We keep in contact weekly and it’s the most beautiful relationship I’ve bonded with a therapist, thank you Lystra for all you do. The Director Barbara I will be forever grateful for she always made time to be there for me. The Clinical Medical staff knows what they are talking about and very understanding. Pastor Craig is the best motivational staff member he’s made a world of a difference in my life. Diane’s groups are AMAZING! I’ve learned so much about why I did what I’ve done and she has always been there for me. If you wanna get deep in the Big Book Larry can direct you with any question and answers you have. Everyone here has changed my mind, body, and soul in such a positive way, there are no words to describe how much better I feel. This was my first time in treatment, but I've had buily wonderful relationships with every patient that I have met here. The ones that have been through other recovery/rehab facilities, some up to 10 times before have assured me that this place is like no other experience they have ever had in treatment in the best way possible. The amenities here include yoga, acupuncture, body massages, chiropractors, H & I meetings, salt water swimming pool, basketball, music therapy, ice cream on Sundays, a workout truck once a week, a little gym with limited but enough exercise equipment, under a shady tree surrounded by hammocks, there is good catered food, movie nights, karaoke nights, and a lot more. Everyone from the techs to the group facilitators, to the therapists, to the Dr.s, to the case managers, group leaders, nightly H & I guests, to the other patients all have something to offer if you are serious about healing yourself and getting sober. There are aftercare plans that differ from person to person, but as long as you're patient and let the process play out, they all try their absolute best to find the plan for every unique situation while you're here, and for your aftercare, if that's the route you're willing to take. I'm confident in myself, the plan I have worked on with the staff here, and the guidance I've been given that this could very well be my first, and last, time in treatment! 😎😁🙏

This place is great made the right choice in going here. Megan was an amazing therapist who pushed me in ways others have not. The facilitators were amazing. Remix with Tyler and Mariah were by far some of the most impactful groups I’ve been apart of. The food was always on point which is always a huge benefit. The entire kitchen staff was amazing. Sarah and Chae not only provided some of the best food I’ve eaten but also were quick to make me feel at home having long talks after the dinner rush to going as far as making me chicken noodle soup when I was sick. The techs were awesome, Sammy is an absolute gangster and Keelie not only severed as the first person most people were welcomed by but one of the cheeriest and happy people that RU is lucky to have as a face of the company. Amazing treatment center. Took me in when no one else would, I spent about 4 months from start to finish and made life long friends with staff and client alike, and left with a new lease on life. I’m still sober to this day. As someone who has not only visited but also frequented several treatment centers in the South Florida area (I had a long career as a drug addict) I cannot recommend a place more than this place. There is a magic in this place, and the staff care. They care very much. Love Recovery Unplugged. Not to mention it is the most beautiful treatment center physically I have ever seen. Large property, a lot of it outdoor based which is a huge plus for me since I feel most treatment centers are like enclosed hospitals and it gives off the vibe of an institution, this place is much different in that regard. Always something to do here, always something to learn.

I attended Hanley for 60 days and attended Intensive Outpatient for one month. This was my second rodeo. I was a Prosecutor and Drug Court General Magistrate (Judicial) for 25 years and spoke at every facility you could imagine. Actively involved. I took the fall myself (go figure) and put myself into Hanley because I was well aware of their reputation. It was the best and most holistic experience of my life. Great facility etc. BUT that is not what matters. The 12 Step Concept they utilize along with dual quality education and therapies saved my life. I live by the Steps, follow what they inspired me to do and I am reborn. No scintilla of a desire for a drink. Actively involved with them still and always will be if they will have me!

I read some bad reviews before i arrived and wasn’t sure. But, they took my blue cross insurance. Amazing. Caring staff and some of the best food … like everyday new meal selections. i loved the beach shuttle. Rexovery is a choice and so if failure. This place helped me make the right choice.
