About We Level Up Lake Worth FL

One of the highlights at We Level Up Lake Worth is its dual diagnosis treatment, which is a necessity for patients with co-occurring mental health disorders and substance use disorders. The program specifically addresses the thought processes behind substance use and the underlying psychological conditions that often drive addiction behavior, such as depression, anxiety or PTSD, paving the way for complete recovery. By treating co-occurring disorders clients gain insight into the underlying issues that contribute to their addiction and learn how to maintain mental health, which leads to more successful long term recovery.

We Level Up Lake Worth is unique not only for the range of treatment programs offered but its tranquil, beachside location. This provides an atmosphere that enables relaxation, introspection and emotional recovery. Accessibility to the beach allows for therapeutic modalities including mindfulness and group exercises that are designed around nature as a natural source of calming and de-stressing.

Another unique feature of We Level Up is its post-treatment development and long term recovery. This center emphasizes the need for aftercare and therefore approaches sobriety on a sustainable basis with clients being equipped with tools to assist them in getting back to life. They offer continued therapy, peer support and relapse prevention strategies to ensure clients can make a successful transition back into everyday living following treatment programs. This pledge to continuous care recognizes that not all recovery ends when one completes a residential program.

Their residential program offers a controlled environment where clients can concentrate on their recovery, without distractions from the outside world. People in the early stage of recovering from addiction, especially those who require a high level of care and supervision during this critical time, can benefit from this structured program.

We Level Up Lake Worth also provides outpatient treatment. This offers more flexible therapy options so clients can experience ongoing care while still maintaining the responsibilities of their daily lives.

I would like to know how they have a person (Teddy) employed in admissions trying to collect monies from former clients when Teddy owes me almost $500. Isn't that a bit hypocritical and absolutely in conflict w/the 12 steps program? Maybe they should vet their employees way better and make sure they have integrity.

This place stole $1800 from my mother with dementia. They got her phone number from my emergency contact list. They did this to several other clients. I was attacked and robbed by my roommate while the techs did nothing. Multiple people were given the wrong meds and had heart attacks / diabetic shock while the techs watched and screamed at clients for asking them to do something. These people are criminals and I regret ever going to this hell hole. If you try to leave they will keep your phone, wallet, keys and all of your belongings until you show up with the police. Admissions lied to me and told me I wouldn’t have to pay a penny just to get me in there. Stay away, it’s a complete insurance scam!

Accepted Insurance

We Level Up Lake Worth FL works with several private insurance providers and also accepts private payments when possible, please contact to verify your specific insurance provider.

Other Forms of Payment

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Sliding scale payments are based on a client's income and family size. The goal is to make treatment affordable to everyone. By taking these factors into account, addiction recovery care providers help ensure that your treatment does not become a financial burden to you or your family, eliminating one barrier to care.

Military members, veterans, and eligible dependents have access to specific insurance programs that help them get the care they need. TRICARE and VA insurance can help you access low cost or no cost addiction and mental health treatment. Programs that accept military insurance often have targeted treatment focused on the unique challenges military members, veterans, and their families face.

Financing your treatment can make treatment more accessible. You'll work with your care provider to set up payment plans, including interest rates and repayment timelines. Financing options vary widely and not all programs offer them, so be sure to get the full details before enrolling in treatment. If you have insurance or other benefits, financing may help you cover your remaining out of pocket expenses.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient

Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.

inpatient iconInpatient

Clients typically choose inpatient rehab when they are in early recovery or are experiencing a crisis that puts them at an increased risk of relapse. They reside at the treatment center for the length of their program, which may range from two weeks to more than 18 months, depending on the program design. Intensive psychotherapy is often the primary treatment modality, but clients in inpatient care may also receive holistic treatment and recovery-focused life skills training.

intensive-outpatient iconIntensive Outpatient

Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) are for those who want or need a very structured treatment program but who also wish to live at home and continue with certain responsibilities (such as work or school). IOP substance abuse treatment programs vary in duration and intensity, and certain outpatient rehab centers will offer individualized treatment programs.

12-step icon12-Step

12-step programs are addiction recovery models based on Alcoholics Anonymous (AA). A number of substance abuse programs (including some drug and alcohol rehab centers) use the 12 steps as a basis for treatment. Beginning steps involve admitting powerlessness over the addiction and creating a spiritual basis for recovery. Middle steps including making direct amends to those who've been hurt by the addiction, and the final step is to assist others in addiction recovery in the same way. 12-Step offshoots including Narcotics Anonymous (NA), Cocaine Anonymous (CA), Dual Recovery Anonymous (DRA), Sex and Love Addicts Anonymous (SLAA) and Gamblers Anonymous (GA).

heart-hands iconIntervention Services

If a person with a substance use disorder continually denies their problem or refuses to get treatment, a drug intervention in Florida may be necessary. Intervention services can help mediate the intervention by providing an addiction expert. This professional can de-escalate situations and facilitate a healthier discussion between the individual and their loved ones. Specialists can also help families handle issues they don't know how to navigate on their own.

partial-hospitalization iconPartial Hospitalization Program

Often referred to as "day treatment," a partial hospitalization program (PHP) offers an intensive treatment option that allows individuals to return home at night. PHP treatment typically requires a minimum of 20 hours a week for an average of 90 days. Participants attend daily therapeutic sessions, receive medication management, and have access to skilled medical professionals. While costs can vary, most insurance will fully or partially cover a partial hospitalization program.

24-hour icon24-Hour Clinical Care

24-hour clinical care in Florida is an essential part of treatment, particularly with medical detox. Withdrawal symptoms can be severe, and supervised detox provides around the clock access to medical professionals who can adminsiter proper medications and treatment to address these symptoms and step in should an emergency occur. This intensive clinical care will help curb the withdrawal effects, minimize substance dependence, and prepare you for the next step of treatment.

medically-assisted-detox iconMedically Assisted Detox

The first step of the recovery process involves the removal of all drugs and alcohol from your system while under 24/7 medical supervision. Known as a medically assisted detox, you are closely monitored by medical staff who can provide medications, if necessary, to help alleviate any potential withdrawal symptoms. Medical detox is usually followed by a period of inpatient addiction treatment.

Treatments

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

Drug rehab in Florida provides quality treatment to help individuals overcome dependency related to a wide range of addictive substances. Programs address both the physical and mental aspects of addiction in order to help you make a full recovery.

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

Substance rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from substance abuse, including alcohol and drug addiction (both illegal and prescription drugs). They often include the opportunity to engage in both individual as well as group therapy.

Programs

adult-program thumbnail image

Adult Program

Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.
young-adult-program thumbnail image

Young Adult Program

Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.

Clinical Services

Therapists who apply cognitive behavioral therapy in Florida believe patient thoughts and behaviors are closely linked. They use this treatment method to help clients change their thought patterns so they can also change behaviors and break free from substance abuse.

Dialectical behavior therapy in Florida consists of individual therapy and group instruction. This structured program is a form of psychotherapy that incorporates the development of skills for managing emotions and relationships.

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

As a short term therapeutic method, motivational interviewing in Florida requires only a couple of sessions. During these sessions, you'll have the opportunity to talk about your circumstances and any discrepancies between your current situation and future goals. You'll then decide for yourself what changes you want to make.

Trauma therapy helps you work through the psychological impact that traumatic events have had on your life. Your therapist helps you identify the physical, emotional, and mental triggers and develop coping mechanisms. This helps rebuild a sense of safety and trust in yourself and others.

During couples therapy in Florida, your therapist will take steps to get to know you, help you identify feelings, explore the past, develop solutions, and help you learn skills to manage relationship challenges. This process will allow you to work through conflict and strengthen your relationship.

Research clearly demonstrates that recovery is far more successful and sustainable when loved ones like family members participate in rehab and substance abuse treatment. Genetic factors may be at play when it comes to drug and alcohol addiction, as well as mental health issues. Family dynamics often play a critical role in addiction triggers, and if properly educated, family members can be a strong source of support when it comes to rehabilitation.

Life skills are the core skills you need for daily success. They can include self care, stress management, daily routines, and emotion control. Rehab treatment includes the development of these skills so you have the tools you need for long term recovery.

This place is a disaster, much like its sister facilities in Orlando, etc. There are 3 people to a room and residents are combined with persons in detox. The food is adequate, yet there is always a line unless you go their last. Level Up does not even require residents to attend classes. So if you are not into rehabilitation, one can simply lay in their bed and watch Roku TV and collect meals. Like a lot of places, Level Up only wants the insurance money. Thus, if your body is there (classes or not) they collect. One closing comment: similar to a lot of rehabs in South Florida, if you try to self-discharge, they will withhold your wallet, phone, debit card, and any cash to deter you from leaving. The sheriff's department is there nearly everyday making Level Up return these belongings to residents. It's amazing they have yet to be sued over this. Bottom line: the place sucks unless you want to watch TV for 30 days.

Place was horrible! Went bk in 2021 and agreed on 7-10 day detox but somehow went behind my back and talked with an emergency contact and they agreed on 45 days lol even though I had to get bk home to return to work. This place is only about INSURANCE money. They were sending ppl home soon as their insurance ran out. They called me non stop after I was back home to the point I screamed and told the "fake addict telling a sob story to get your attention" to take me off their list and never call again. Can't sleep in that place you'll have at least 2 roommates with techs checking rooms every 30 minutes if you're a light sleeper you'll never rest. Supposed to be a dual diagnosis place but only had 1 visit with a therapist that seemed more just like a recovered addict with experience and some certificate. Would just play a YouTube video about addiction for a few of us like we can't do that at home lol. Detox mixed with residential is a mess! Only good thing was I could smoke still but I was so anxious I was over smoking. The nurses were dropping meds and giving out the wrong ones, fudging important numbers like blood pressure and diabetic levels. I completed the 3 weeks agreed upon and didn't receive any certificate or anything to even remember I was there lol. They wouldn't let me book my flight until the day or 2 before which costed me over $400. I actually did end up relapsing and my emergency contact reached out to them to be told they can't help I owe them $2k that insurance didn't cover lol. At that point I realized I need to really avoid alcohol bc these places don't care they just care about my money! Didn't give me any after care plan... just let me walk out like a regular day. Just a revolving door of fake help and I'm over it. The meetings the held all day weren't even really meetings idk what they were... no speakers coming in giving hope etc... they just toss sleep meds at everybody which is so unhealthy! Very sad how eager they are to get you there but that's the game! Once you sign those papers they got u and your money. Get to the root problem of your addiction and let these places die slowly!
