BIG DOWNFALL imo.^^ On the other hand, I was AMAZED by the LOVE and RESPECT I was shown by a peppering of the staff!! There’s an extremely diverse group of folks here. I was made to feel welcomed, accepted, heard, and loved by so many of the precious individuals that work here: -the techs: such a bunch of overqualified, compassionate, interesting new friends; they always lend an ear and cater to whatever strange need I could conjure up -nurses: again… I had more sessions with nurses than counselors!!! They got me through one of the roughest times in my entire life! -counselors: the good ones made up for any slight if felt in the handling with others.. And a few employees, not sure where they belong..lol… were a wonderful part of my journey! At first I wanted to AMA, and I would have if it wasn’t for her. She sat with me and had the most heartfelt conversation, and by the end of our talk, I decided to stay. If it wasn’t for her I would have left. She goes above and beyond for every single client, and does her job extremely efficiently. She should get a raise, or employee of the month. In 2013, my insurance stopped paying for the place I was in, and I thought I was going to have to return back home, but they picked me up and moved me into a house the same day, with no cost to me. Lived in one of their houses on Sutton Terrace in 2013 for a year and then got an apartment in the area, and ended up buying my first house a few years after with my daughters mother. There are success stories, and there are some real tragedies. It all depends on your mindset. You have to want to do the work, but if you do, things will begin to fall into place for you. Not sure what kind of program they’re running now, but I know in 2013-2014, they had some great people. I made connections here that I’d have never made anywhere else. Learned a lot very quickly as well. If they’re still operating the way they were in 2013-2014, I’d consider looking into giving them a call. With Florida now being the capital of recovery and halfway houses there is no reason to go elsewhere. This is truly a wonderful place where you matter more than just your rent. They truly go above any beyond. You can come here and have no clothes and no food and you will not go bare or hungry. For the better part now of a decade now I have known them and have been helped several times through my relapses. Very inclusive nacho cheese 1 day ago I have been to rehabs previously, however Beachside was the first rehab where the 12 steps were not a mandated expectation. It was truly a holistic experience, offering sound therapy, reiki, massages, fitness activities and more. The onsite gym, albeit small, offered dumbbells, treadmill, Peloton Bike, and a Nordic Row. I would have preferred if it included a few kettle bells, but overall the extent of the gym was more than I expected. The cafeteria was always clean and well stocked - the chefs were friendly and warm. Whether it was the salad bar or the amazing curated meals, or the classic cheeseburger - the food was never a source of concern for me. The entire staff was outstanding - from the Ops Manager Rasheed, down to every single BHT. House Keeping staff were muy bueno. Kitchen staff, therapists, recreational staff, I could go on and on with lists and praise. I have never felt so heard and so welcomed as I did by the Beachside employees. There were some inequities between the PHP and Residential program, but nothing that caused me any significant concern - just areas where I submitted suggestions to improve processes. I truly am thankful to Beachside for the serenity they provided while I was there and I would highly recommend them to anyone who has a need for Mental Health or Substance Use Rehab. I have EXTREMELY mixed feelings about this facility; seemed like I was in the middle of BAD GUYS vs GOOD GUYS… a waste of energy imo… if that energy could have been redirected, they’d have a serious POWERHOUSE! As far as —administration… it’s a hard NO. from ethics to simple handling: i feel like there was retaliation for a grievance I filed; I overheard more than one discussion between clinical director and his counseling staff about the specifics. ^^I feel like they definitely allowed politics and finances to dictate the navigation things rather than what was best for my personal recovery. BIG DOWNFALL imo.^^ On the other hand, I was AMAZED by the LOVE and RESPECT I was shown by a peppering of the staff!! There’s an extremely diverse group of folks here. I was made to feel welcomed, accepted, heard, and loved by so many of the precious individuals that work here: -the techs: such a bunch of overqualified, compassionate, interesting new friends; they always lend an ear and cater to whatever strange need I could conjure up -nurses: again… I had more sessions with nurses than counselors!!! They got me through one of the roughest times in my entire life! -counselors: the good ones made up for any slight if felt in the handling with others.. And a few employees, not sure where they belong..lol… were a wonderful part of my journey! BIG BIG THANK YOU to all that took time out of their lives, showed down, and really listened and shared of themselves!!!! My name is Heather Rosenberg and I was at Sunrise Detox in September 2025. I completed and went to php and then IOP, for 4 months. As of today I am 7 months and 3 days sober. My time at sunrise was life changing. Roselyn, the tech, went out of her way to talk to me and get to know me. She is the most empathic, and loving woman that I have ever met in detox. At first I wanted to AMA, and I would have if it wasn’t for her. She sat with me and had the most heartfelt conversation, and by the end of our talk, I decided to stay. If it wasn’t for her I would have left. She goes above and beyond for every single client, and does her job extremely efficiently. She should get a raise, or employee of the month. You’ll meet some great people in these programs that you’ll know for a lifetime. In 2013, my insurance stopped paying for the place I was in, and I thought I was going to have to return back home, but they picked me up and moved me into a house the same day, with no cost to me. Lived in one of their houses on Sutton Terrace in 2013 for a year and then got an apartment in the area, and ended up buying my first house a few years after with my daughters mother. There are success stories, and there are some real tragedies. It all depends on your mindset. You have to want to do the work, but if you do, things will begin to fall into place for you. Not sure what kind of program they’re running now, but I know in 2013-2014, they had some great people. I made connections here that I’d have never made anywhere else. Learned a lot very quickly as well. If they’re still operating the way they were in 2013-2014, I’d consider looking into giving them a call. It may change your life in ways you never thought was possible.

Stephanie's Family Sober House is a great halfway house. It has helped me and provided a safe supportive environment. The vast majority of halfway houses are simply just businesses and all about money. Stephanie's family staff are all recovery themselves and truly care about their clients. "Family" truly describes it. With Florida now being the capital of recovery and halfway houses there is no reason to go elsewhere. This is truly a wonderful place where you matter more than just your rent. They truly go above any beyond. You can come here and have no clothes and no food and you will not go bare or hungry. This is truly a "Family" I honestly am very grateful for them and the wonderful quality of service they provide. For the better part now of a decade now I have known them and have been helped several times through my relapses. Each Time I have stumbled, Stephanie's family has been there for me lovingly helping me get back on my feet. Allison Lopez truly is there for her clients and hires staff that is just as dedicated as she is herself. A real rehabilitation center that I can thank for being sober and clean today! The staff was amazing, the groups were the best therapy that I took so much out of! After detox I was place in a house with 5 other patients and had freedom to choose to stay clean or go around the block and relapse! I met so many awesome folks who were just like me and addict! It's a very great environment and way better than the other rehabs I attended that kept me locked up for 30 days in a hospital! Thank You All!!

I have been to rehabs previously, however Beachside was the first rehab where the 12 steps were not a mandated expectation. It was truly a holistic experience, offering sound therapy, reiki, massages, fitness activities and more. The onsite gym, albeit small, offered dumbbells, treadmill, Peloton Bike, and a Nordic Row. I would have preferred if it included a few kettle bells, but overall the extent of the gym was more than I expected. The cafeteria was always clean and well stocked - the chefs were friendly and warm. Whether it was the salad bar or the amazing curated meals, or the classic cheeseburger - the food was never a source of concern for me. The entire staff was outstanding - from the Ops Manager Rasheed, down to every single BHT. House Keeping staff were muy bueno. Kitchen staff, therapists, recreational staff, I could go on and on with lists and praise. I have never felt so heard and so welcomed as I did by the Beachside employees. There were some inequities between the PHP and Residential program, but nothing that caused me any significant concern - just areas where I submitted suggestions to improve processes. I truly am thankful to Beachside for the serenity they provided while I was there and I would highly recommend them to anyone who has a need for Mental Health or Substance Use Rehab.
