The butterflies, birds, and overall exhibits at Butterfly World are truly beautiful and were something we were really looking forward to. We traveled from Canada and are visiting Florida, and this was one of the experiences we specifically planned to see, knowing we wouldn’t be able to come back easily.
Unfortunately, around 4:35 PM, the Bug Zoo was closed, despite being told at reception that exhibits were open until 5:00 PM. A staff member named Josiah said everything was already shut down and repeatedly opened and closed the door looking at us, making it clear we were not welcome to finish viewing the exhibit. We still had about 25 minutes left, but felt rushed and essentially pushed out.
While the exhibits themselves are lovely, the way this situation was handled felt unfriendly and left us feeling kicked out rather than welcomed. Given that this was a one-time visit for us, the experience was especially unfortunate.
I hope management reviews closing procedures so future visitors can fully enjoy their visit until the stated closing time.
It’s a must go for all visitors and families living around.

Outstanding attraction, especially on weekdays. Weekday crowds are minimal, gardens and butterflies are beautiful, and the birds are cute. I spent about two hours there very slowly moving through the exhibits. Would love to visit again.
