Best treatment center for PHP clients by far. They are the most engaging, community oriented program in lauderdale. Clients are always busy while also having fun. The groups allow clients to really learn and process their addiction and their recovery, and I can’t stress enough how competent and loving and caring the staff are. I’d give 10 stars out of 5 if I could.

I went to destination hope in 2023 and they really helped me. They have great doctors and therapists! I was on a good combo of meds and was treated very well there. The rooms are very comfortable and they have a nice PHP/IOP location as well. The groups were helpful too. Overall, I would recommend destination hope if you’re struggling with mental health issues and need help.

I have been to treatment a total of 8 times in my life. I was never able to put much more than about 6 months together from the first 6 treatment experiences until I went to destination hope. After my first experience with Destination hope I was able to put together 27 months, then had a minor setback but was welcomed back with open arms. Destination hope was the first center that I had ever been to that was dual diagnosis. once there I was able to get the help that I needed to finally start turning my life in the right direction. I was treated for my depression and anxiety disorders as well as substance abuse. The therapists and group facilitators were amazing, they were very knowledgeable and you could defiantly tell that they cared about each individual that walked through their doors. The techs that work there have all been down the same roads that the clients are going through and have very valuable insights, with tips that have helped them through with their recovery. The environment of the facility is very uplifting with many different things to do when your not in groups. After my second time around with Destination Hope I am currently 6 months sober as of July 24th and going strong. this is a facility that i would recommend to anyone that has either mental or substance abuse issues or the combination of both.

I learned so many valuable life skills at this place when I was a teenager, and I know at the time I didn't want to be there, but I mean, what teenager(in my particular position at the time) would want to be away from their friends and family? My experience with Still Mind was rather well-rounded. It had its challenges, but that seems to be expected for residential mental health facilities … especially when meeting different clients with different experiences.
The staff was largely great, especially the techs, Ms. Bella, Sara and the therapists, who support their clients to a great degree. Ms. Ramona does a great job of aiding the case management side and helping clients get what they need, and there are different resources/ways to get help if you’re there to receive it and the feedback that comes with it, like brain mapping. You have to be your own biggest advocate for it to be worthwhile.
Techs like Kelvin, Paul, Ms. V, Josh, Joe, Greg, Angel and Angie were always available and happy to help when they could. Some of them were approachable like therapists because they want you to get the help you need. That requires focus and self-discipline.
While nothing was perfect, there were people who were receptive to providing support for those who asked for it and worked with the team there, which should be what anyone asks for when seeking help for depression or anything similar/worse.

The best decision I could have made for my family and myself. If you put in the work and take advantage of the services provided, you will leave a different person. The therapy sessions (individual and group) provide the knowledge to change your thinking and behavior, combined with your own self awareness of what has failed you in the past, and creating a plan for success moving forward.
The staff is incredible and they are eager to help those who put in the effort to change themselves for the better. Still Mind will forever have a special place in my heart.

I attended this facility when i lost my mind and they really met me where i was at. They stabilized me and helped me understand what was actually going on in my brain by scanning it and showing me, teaching me about what i needed to do to heal my body and brain while i was there.
Dr John literally wrote down my solution the first day i was there. The clinical staff will take care of every issue you bring with you and discover while in treatment. They know this stuff from their own experience and from studying people like me for like 10 years. I got everything that i needed and was able to keep it moving back into real life.
Ms Bella can make sense out of some of the wildest concepts and struggles i ever had to cope with and offer solutions on how to move out of that headspace.
Kelvin is a real one.
All the staff that works there REALLY want to be there. If you are able to match that, the whole program gets 200% more impactful.
I went for basic stability. They changed the way i thought and understood most of the stuff that took me there. They exceled beyond what i wanted.
13/10 - If you want to be a better version of you that pales every form of your past self, Still can do that for you <3

First off I wanna thank the Covenant House program for excepting new and my daughter when I was 19. It was a very good experience but some of the staff was nice and friendly and then there was a few that was rude and aggravating. daycare for babies, & older kids. When i was there they were giving help with bus cards for transportation. Vouchers for jobs and housing. But it's a process. You welcome to counseling and i think family therapy. It was a very beautiful site. You get to meetso many other peoplefrom around the world. I know i did. They also do nice things during the holidays. I really like the outside view, just so nice and peaceful. Very close to the beach and many different stores and restaurants. I enjoyed my experience there. Glad i had some where to go after thing they family drama and trauma. Thanks again Covenant House for your support. They seem really friendly, Christian like. Then if you decide to leave, which they say you can Walk out the door anytime, your free to go whenever you want. But, they forget to tell you, you can't take your thing's with. Your important things, like Your identification, phone, important paperwork and so on. Do not recommend this place for help or anything.
