Top 10 Rehab In Lake Worth

About The Recovery Village Palm Beach at Baptist Health

The Recovery Village Palm Beach at Baptist Health in Palm Beach, Florida, provides inpatient medical detoxification and rehab services for addiction. They also offer partial hospitalization programs.

Their supervised and monitored facility balances medication accessible care and psychiatry for persons with co-occurring mental illness. You can also choose more holistic options like exercise and recreation therapy.

One thing that stands out to me is their secluded treatment facility with its premium amenities and low staff to client ratio. You’ll begin your journey to recovery in a comfortable and homey environment with lots of one on one support.

You can expect standard cognition based therapeutics and medication assisted treatment. Group and solo counseling are provided to help you get to the heart of what’s keeping your cravings front and center in your life.

They also have teletherapy, which may be helpful for disabled or immunocompromised individuals who are seeking to avoid crowds, germs, or public treatment settings

Overall, clients’ perspectives on the program are mixed. Some people loved their therapist, while others recommended streamlining administrative procedures and being more responsive to phone calls, since they’re necessary for aftercare follow ups.

If you are a coffee drinker do not go to this facility. We were not allowed to have coffee and coffee was unavailable until you are actually having your breakfast which was at 8:50 a.m. every morning. Only one cup with breakfast and that was it for the day. Absolutely ridiculous

Accepted Insurance

The Recovery Village Palm Beach at Baptist Health works with several private insurance providers and also accepts private payments when possible, please contact to verify your specific insurance provider.

Other Forms of Payment

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

partial-hospitalization iconPartial Hospitalization Program
A partial hospitalization program (PHP) is a short-term form of intensive rehab, usually for those with acute symptoms that are hard to manage but don’t require 24-hour care. PHPs have structured programming (i.e. individual and/or group therapy), and usually meet 3-5 days a week for around 6 hours (i.e. 9am-3m). Some PHPs are residential (patients sleep on site) and some are not, so patients sleep at home. PHPs can last from 1-6 months, and some offer transportation and meals.
outpatient iconOutpatient
Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.
aftercare iconAftercare Support
Completing a drug or alcohol rehab program shouldn't spell the end of substance abuse treatment. Aftercare involves making a sustainable plan for recovery, including ongoing support. This can include sober living arrangements like halfway houses, career counseling, and setting a patient up with community programs like Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) or Narcotics Anonymous (NA).

Treatments

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

Drug rehab in Florida provides quality treatment to help individuals overcome dependency related to a wide range of addictive substances. Programs address both the physical and mental aspects of addiction in order to help you make a full recovery.

Many of those suffering from addiction also suffer from mental or emotional illnesses like schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, or anxiety disorders. Rehab and other substance abuse facilities treating those with a dual diagnosis or co-occurring disorder administer psychiatric treatment to address the person's mental health issue in addition to drug and alcohol rehabilitation.

A combined mental health and substance abuse rehab has the staff and resources available to handle individuals with both mental health and substance abuse issues. It can be challenging to determine where a specific symptom stems from (a mental health issue or an issue related to substance abuse), so mental health and substance abuse professionals are helpful in detangling symptoms and keeping treatment on track.

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

Programs

adult-program thumbnail image
Adult Program
Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.
young-adult-program thumbnail image
Young Adult Program
Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.

Clinical Services

Creativity is inherently healing, and can help those in recovery express thoughts or feelings they might not otherwise be able to. Creative arts therapy can include music, poetry/writing, painting, sculpting, dance, theater, sandplay, and more. Unlike traditional art, the final product matters far less than the experience of creation and expression itself.

Research clearly demonstrates that recovery is far more successful and sustainable when loved ones like family members participate in rehab and substance abuse treatment. Genetic factors may be at play when it comes to drug and alcohol addiction, as well as mental health issues. Family dynamics often play a critical role in addiction triggers, and if properly educated, family members can be a strong source of support when it comes to rehabilitation.

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

Life skills trainings involve all the skills a person must have in order to function successfully in the world. These include time management, career guidance, money management, and effective communication. Truly successful addiction recovery is based on the ability to not only live substance-free, but to thrive. Life skills teaches the practical necessities of functioning in society, which sets clients up for success in life, and therefore sobriety.

Nutrition therapy, aka medical nutrition therapy (MNT), is a way of treating physical, emotional, and medical conditions through diet. Specific dietary plans are designed by professional nutritionists or registered dietitians, and patients follow them in order to positively affect their physical and mental health.

Recreational therapy (aka therapeutic recreation) uses creative and fun activities to help with addiction recovery. Recreational therapists lead patients in entertaining and engaging activities like sports or games; art (drawing, painting, sculpture); drama, music, and dance; and/or community outings (field trips) to improve patients' physical, social, and emotional well-being.

The admissions department will lie to you and tell you whatever you want to hear just to get you in the door. This place is disgusting and the admissions department is full of drug addicts and alcoholics obviously still using. They made me drive 190 Mi and then refuse my admission because of a service animal

To say this place is a Godsend is an understatement. From the cleanliness to the very nice staff to the amazing tasting food. 😋 I can say you have your pros and cons anywhere you go in life, and especially when dealing with recovery from drugs, alcohol, and or mental health issues. I would like to give a huge shout out to Ms. Ruth. She is a true Angel from seeing her very professional reaction to a very rude client, to making sure the clients are more than taken care of. I highly recommend this Recovery center and I'm looking forward to a huge future with this establishment!!!! God Bless Recovery Village of Palm Beach and everyone that makes this place run well!!!!

This place helped me get clean and I’m forever grateful. Wendi, Michelle, Sharon, Jenny, Sharice, D, Phil and Georgie made my experience tolerable. The rest of the techs were absolutely terrible. They come in with an attitude and treat clients poorly. This place is unorganized, understaffed and only care about the money they make off you! What made my experience worth it, were my peers and the bond we shared with one another. It truly felt like family! There were not enough options for food, the same snacks were offered during breakfast and lunch and if you couldn’t get to the snack basket in time there would be nothing left. The cafeteria doesn’t remain open which I’ve never seen in treatment before. All the chefs have attitudes and clearly hate their jobs. I doubt this review will even be posted because this place likes to give the illusion that it’s amazing. Also, there are no privileges given when you graduate to PHP or IOP. You get to use your cell phone for one hour in IOP. You can’t leave the facility unless your therapist gives you a pass which you most likely won’t get. Some clients smuggle in weed pens which you can smell on a daily basis, people snorting Wellbutrin and leaving lines of it in the bathroom, people having sex everywhere and they receive no consequences. But God forbid you are late to group or end up missing a group (even if you’re extremely sick) they kick you out. This place is dirty (roaches all over) and it’s nothing but chaos. There are only 2 TV rooms and they close it at 10 pm and lights out at 10:30. We were treated like prisoners. Techs would even sit there and talk trash about other patients! I’ve never experienced such a horrible experience in treatment!

Pros: the therapist are stellar very knowledgeable personal and above average Cons: IMO to many people are accepted that shouldn’t be. People transitioning from prison, extreme homelessness and repeat patience ( it’s called the Florida Shuffle ) with shady histories. If you sincerely desire recovery and can buckle down looking past the drama this is a fantastic place for it. Just tell yourself it’s not forever and you’re there to recover and live an amazing life free of bondage. Stick with the people who are sincere. EMDR helped Me tremendously jo jo is the best hands down. Again, all the therapist are very good They also allowed me to have my Golden Retriever service dog with me who’s a legit service dog trained in DPT for the trauma I had endured; sever panic attacks. He helped many people there and I hope to share my success with others throughout our lives together

Response from the ownerInvalid relative date format:
Bobby, thanks for praising our stellar therapists! We appreciate your constructive feedback and continuously work on maintaining optimal group sizes for quality care.
