About Beachway Therapy Center

They have both inpatient and outpatient rehab programs. The initial phase of your treatment is detox. You’ll receive medical monitoring and 24 hour nursing care. This phase can take a few days or a few weeks as the toxins leave your body. It may or may not include medication depending on your unique situation.

The residential program includes intensive therapy with a holistic approach. You’ll have access to evidence based therapies such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT). They offer yoga, art, and music therapy as well as trauma therapy and family sessions.

The partial hospitalization program (PHP) gives you structured daytime treatment, but you can return home in the evening. They also offer an intensive outpatient program (IOP) and outpatient services to help you with support for sustained success in your recovery.

The center also offers a Christian rehab program incorporating Biblical principles along with evidence based therapies. There are Bible studies and faith centered group discussions along with spiritual guidance.

Most of their patients with substance use disorder have other mental health issues. All of the programs put your mental health at the center of your recovery. Former patients mentioned how thankful they were to learn the tools they needed to move forward in their lives while living a sober lifestyle.

In 2020, I went to the Aloha house in West Palm, after treatment. I was a chronic relapser and out of hope. The structure and support at the house set my feet on a path of victory and recovery. I'm almost 5 years sober today, reunited with my husband and 3 children, and helping others out of addiction. I'm not sure where I would be if I had not found Aloha. There was just enough structure and freedom to allow me to safely start rebuilding my life. I highly recommend. There is HOPE.

My experience at Beachway was not perfect, as nothing truly is. However, I would not change a single thing. I learned so much and was embraced and understood for what feels like the first time in my life. Words can not express how thankful I am for the staff, the therapist, and the facility as a whole. I want to specifically thank Tripp, my primary therapist, and Brandon, my trauma therapist. Without these two gentleman I would not be living the life I am today. As I write this I have almost 7 months sober, moving into my own place, have a great job, and so many connections within the recovery community. I go to sleep often without worry, I breathe more calmly, and I am at peace almost daily. I love my life today, and that is in part thanks to Beachway! They will forever have a place in my heart. Thank you Beachway.

Accepted Insurance

Beachway Therapy Center works with several private insurance providers and also accepts private payments when possible, please contact to verify your specific insurance provider.

Other Forms of Payment

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Military members, veterans, and eligible dependents have access to specific insurance programs that help them get the care they need. TRICARE and VA insurance can help you access low cost or no cost addiction and mental health treatment. Programs that accept military insurance often have targeted treatment focused on the unique challenges military members, veterans, and their families face.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

aftercare iconAftercare Support

Rehab aftercare programs are a collection of highly individualized services designed to promote long-term recovery. These services evolve as your needs change. Case managers and recovery teams typically begin formulating the rehab aftercare service plan early in the recovery process to facilitate your reintegration back into the home, workplace, and community.

medically-assisted-detox iconMedically Assisted Detox

A drug detox is the physical and emotional process of overcoming a dependence on an addictive substance and learning to live a clean life that’s free of that dependence. At drug treatment and detox rehab centers in Florida like Beachway, they focus on clean living, supportive environments, personalized therapy, and life-skills learning that will provide clients with a strong foundation to live a happy and healthy life that’s drug-free, independent, and productive. Beachway’s drug detox programs provide counseling, medical treatment, and knowledgeable staff. This combination of services makes the detox process as stress-free and comfortable as possible, making it easier for clients to break the cycle of addiction.

inpatient iconInpatient

Clients typically choose inpatient rehab when they are in early recovery or are experiencing a crisis that puts them at an increased risk of relapse. They reside at the treatment center for the length of their program, which may range from two weeks to more than 18 months, depending on the program design. Intensive psychotherapy is often the primary treatment modality, but clients in inpatient care may also receive holistic treatment and recovery-focused life skills training.

intensive-outpatient iconIntensive Outpatient

Intensive Outpatient Programs offer regular group therapy sessions, which are led by trained professionals. These therapy sessions are available to cover a variety of topics, addictions, and stages of recovery. These topics can include developing processes to help manage emotions and stressors, understanding “trigger” feelings and situations which may lead to abuse, money management strategies and planning, and how to adapt to unfamiliar and stressful situations.

outpatient iconOutpatient

Outpatient rehabs encompass multiple levels of care to facilitate clients' progress through their recovery journey. Clients who are stepping down from inpatient treatment may require intensive outpatient (IOP) treatment, which involves more frequent and substantive therapeutic interventions than does standard outpatient care. Outpatient centers typically provide extensive addiction counseling, including individual, group, and family therapy. Medication assisted treatment programs (MAT) and recovery-focused life skills training are also common in outpatient care.

partial-hospitalization iconPartial Hospitalization Program

Often referred to as "day treatment," a partial hospitalization program (PHP) offers an intensive treatment option that allows individuals to return home at night. PHP treatment typically requires a minimum of 20 hours a week for an average of 90 days. Participants attend daily therapeutic sessions, receive medication management, and have access to skilled medical professionals. While costs can vary, most insurance will fully or partially cover a partial hospitalization program.

24-hour icon24-Hour Clinical Care

24-hour clinical care in Florida is an essential part of treatment, particularly with medical detox. Withdrawal symptoms can be severe, and supervised detox provides around the clock access to medical professionals who can adminsiter proper medications and treatment to address these symptoms and step in should an emergency occur. This intensive clinical care will help curb the withdrawal effects, minimize substance dependence, and prepare you for the next step of treatment.

telehealth iconTelehealth

Telehealth offers many benefits for Florida residents. It lets you see your healthcare provider from anywhere. This saves time because you don't have to travel to a doctor's office or take time off work to get there. It also provides more options, because you can choose health care specialists who are located far from you.

Treatments

Beachway goes beyond the 12 Steps. They match every individual with a therapy team and customized treatment plan that can include the Alcoholics Anonymous 12-Step Program and other therapies, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), group therapy, individual therapy and other modalities. There’s no one-size-fits-all alcohol treatment program, which is why we provide a variety of proven, interactive therapies that include services such as therapeutic excursions, equine therapy, yoga, art therapy and full spa services.

Drug rehab in Florida provides quality treatment to help individuals overcome dependency related to a wide range of addictive substances. Programs address both the physical and mental aspects of addiction in order to help you make a full recovery.

Many of those suffering from addiction also suffer from mental or emotional illnesses like schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, or anxiety disorders. Rehab and other substance abuse facilities treating those with a dual diagnosis or co-occurring disorder administer psychiatric treatment to address the person's mental health issue in addition to drug and alcohol rehabilitation.

When clients are facing mental health and substance abuse issues, they can feel trapped by addiction and its rollercoaster. Recovering from alcohol or drug dependence is a complex journey that also requires addressing anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, PTSD and other mental health concerns.

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

In Florida, substance abuse treatment focuses on treating mental health and substance use disorders concurrently to improve recovery outcomes and overall health. Levels of care include medical detox, outpatient, residential treatment, and intensive outpatient programs. Clinicians utilize evidence-based therapies such as dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) or medication-assisted treatment, group therapy, and skills training activities. This comprehensive approach to treatment helps to ensure sustained recovery.

Programs

adult-program thumbnail image

Adult Program

Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.
young-adult-program thumbnail image

Young Adult Program

Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.

Clinical Services

Therapists who apply cognitive behavioral therapy in Florida believe patient thoughts and behaviors are closely linked. They use this treatment method to help clients change their thought patterns so they can also change behaviors and break free from substance abuse.

Dialectical behavior therapy in Florida consists of individual therapy and group instruction. This structured program is a form of psychotherapy that incorporates the development of skills for managing emotions and relationships.

The use of horses as part of a therapeutic treatment can help people achieve growth in their emotional and personal lives, particularly if their priorities have become unclear. When used as part of a substance abuse program, equine therapy for addiction can provide significant benefits to some individuals.

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

Trauma therapy addresses traumatic incidents from a client's past that are likely affecting their present-day experience. Trauma is often one of the primary triggers and potential causes of addiction, and can stem from child sexual abuse, domestic violence, having a parent with a mental illness, losing one or both parents at a young age, teenage or adult sexual assault, or any number of other factors. The purpose of trauma therapy is to allow a patient to process trauma and move through and past it, with the help of trained and compassionate mental health professionals.

Drugs and alcohol impact the system differently. Although one thing is true: people who abuse substances such as alcohol and drugs are malnourished. Between eating poorly and the effects that drugs or alcohol have on patients system, metabolism, organ function, and mental health are all affected by what goes into the body. When clients enter rehab at Beachway, they have access to a nutritionist to help get them back on track, fueling their body in a way that will promote health and longevity and make them feel better. Providing services such as nutritional evaluations, counseling for weight management and counseling for nutritional needs to help with eating disorders, substance abuse, and other mental illnesses, nutritionist can provide the tools to eat well during recovery and for the rest of their life.

Recreational therapy helps you recover from addiction by giving you structured activities that promote your physical health and mental well being. These activities could range from sports and fitness to creative arts and provide a constructive outlet for your emotions and stress.

Your mind, body, and emotions interact in complex ways. Experiential therapy addresses all three of these aspects. Interactive and creative activities provide physical sensations and evoke emotional responses. These offer insight into how you interact with the world and any negative patterns you need to change.

My name is Alice and this rehab was the best one I’ve ever had the experience of going to. This place at the time saved my life, the staff was amazing, kind, empathetic, the amenities were great. I was truly blessed to be able to come here in 2021 when I was 19. Unfortunately I did not get sober until spring of 2023 but I have been sober since then and I now have a 14 month old son. I still remember my time here and all/everyone that made it memorable. You guys are awesome

Response from the owner
Thank you so much, Alice. Your words mean the world to us. We're honored to have been a part of your journey, and we're so proud of how far you’ve come. Congratulations on your sobriety and your beautiful son — what an incredible testament to your strength and growth! 💙

Without a doubt the best thing that ever happened to me The facility is great Every one there from the techs nurses staff and especially therapists are the best And they have a Christian track and a trauma track that are world class One shout out to Pastor Troy. A absolute embodiment of what Christ himself is like. Even if you’re not a Christian and you slightly have an inkling that there is a higher power in this universe and or not. You will gain so much insight and peace from Pastor Troy This was my second time to a Rehab facility for alcohol drugs and Porn addiction. My first was fall of 2024 to a facility funny enough 4 miles from Beachway. That facility cured me of alcohol. But Beachway provided the cure on the drugs and porn. Why u ask ? Because they really got down to the root causes of my problems How. For me I need a complete restoration of heart mind body and soul . Beachway provided all of this comprehensively So check it out. And being 64 I didn’t have another rodeo in me Lastly after you get healed and cured it is up to you to maintain what the facility did for you and your efforts that you put into recovery You immediately got to get into a 12 step program. Find a good sponsor to help you in the big book. And I mean within 24 hours of leaving rehab. 80% of people are successful in beating their addictions doing this. Otherwise the chances are you’re going to be back in a rehab jail or dead. The addictions just grow like a cancer and this goes for mental health as well. Also I attend Beachway Alumni meetings and Beachway bible study via zoom that is provided for alumni. So with that why wait. Make the call what do you have nothing to lose and your life to reclaim

Response from the owner
Thank you so much for your powerful and heartfelt review. We're honored to have been part of your journey and are grateful for your kind words about our team, Pastor Troy, and our specialized tracks. Your story is a true testament to the healing that’s possible with commitment and support. We're cheering you on every step of the way! 💙

Today is 6/11/2025 it is the only time in my life i will experience this day. Period! However this day also makes 500 days sober since I arrived at Beachway! I did over 100 days residential and followed a one year plan fully plus added my own things. The odds of me living were grim, I was done, I had accepted the fact that Vodka would be taking me out shortly. So on a hail marry by my wife, and the google gods in just a few hours I was in Beachway detox. Coming in Physically and mentally in distress with Doctors saying He is not going to make it, I was labeled a Level 5 alcoholic and a 1% er! NOT GOOD ODDS. I waited 500 days to do this post/review. Why I have no idea just a day I had set to run this journey. Pro's - Beachway saved my life, but I had to surrender and follow direction, I did not go down easy and I fought it but once I did drop the rock They took over. They never gave up on me! Even with all my defiance, attitude, and aggression. Lets say I was not the poster child of clients. Never did I need something that I could not get or access. Facility - I have been in 7 other facilities, This is not the biggest and Not with the most luxuries, but this is not a vacation. It is fine for any normal person. Clean and nothing is worn out good normal operation. I will say the support staff there are top notch. Food is good and fresh - Clean as you can get, Just a comfortable place to be. Program: Well organized, great speakers, and the information is there, schedule is full and you get a education on sobriety. If you listen and pay attention you will learn a thing or two to save yourself. Therapists. Top notch going to leave the names and exact information off this post but my therapist saved my life! He used a few others to break, humble and crush me. I needed that, once that happened i was all in and ready to try this journey. I have dealt with 100 plus therapists in my sobriety tour of treatment centers, The staff here is above average and they have a ton of experience and data. CONS: Have no complaints at all on the treatment options or the facility but this is only improvements I feel could happen. 1. More focus on the post treatment plan, Not just the go here how to adapt to a new life being sober. As for me I have been drinking for 43 years, last 5 were life threatening and brutal. My struggle is I have no clue how to live sober, How to re Invent myself - Guess what? I do not remember living sober like starting over. I really do not think beachway could do much on this topic - but those who make it, seems to be a common struggle. 2. This is West Palm Beach Florida - The home of the wealthy so totally disagree with post saying not in a good area! Super Yachts, Homes, Beaches etc. Does not matter anyhow because you do not leave the facility? 3. Alumuni - I do believe they are trying but not as much focus and information out there for alumni - I am just comparing it to other treatment centers I have been to. Some audio problems on zoom, Just a little more focus on the past clients. Summary I should run an Expedia travel channel on treatment centers - I have done enough of them, Beachway rocked it - simply put they saved and changed my life forever. However I want to be crystal clear, It took a ton of effort on my part also. I read others posts and seen others fail. Bottom Line its not a vacation, You did not follow direction is my view. Or do you really want to get sober? If I had a friend or child having addiction issues, there is no doubt I would call Beachway and get them help. In fact a few of my roommates from Sober living crashed and burned and I got them in beachway! No Treatment center is perfect, this area of medicine is really up to the person, Beachway knows what to do its a matter of will you listen? Will you surrender? Will you stop getting enabled? Are you ready to live a life of peace and serenity Aj www.Pause.Rocks A sober platform that rocks!

Response from the owner

One year ago today, I went back to Beachway after a relapse. Today, I’m one year sober, and it’s thanks to the therapists and programming and tireless work of the supportive community that exists there. I have better relationships with the people I love, a better experience being alive, and a better outlook on what the future can bring. For anyone suffering from addiction, I highly recommend considering a substance abuse treatment program — period. For those looking for a dual-diagnosis program, trauma therapy, and/or a therapeutic community that supports you every step of the way, Beachway is a great option. I have no regrets choosing to go there, and I am sure that decision saved my life.

Response from the owner
Thank you for sharing this with us on your anniversary! We're honored to be part of your community and we know that this testimonial will serve as comfort to someone else who is struggling. Thank you for taking the time to put this positive message out into the universe and for sharing it with Beachway!

Hello im Ashley and im an addict. My whole life has been filled with chaos and trauma. Some from my own doing and some that wasnt my fault. There is not a single bad word i can say abouy my experience at Beachway Therapy Center. My time there was cut short thanks to my own self-sabotaging behavior. Even then Beachway still treated me with compassion and the desire to help me. My situation was a unusual one. I came into the trauma program with a clean date of April 16th 2014. So at 11 years clean i was dealing with bipolar disorder, intense anxiety, a very unhealthy toxic relationship and an intense desire to break generational curses for my children. My history is one that involves homelessness, street drugs and a street mentality. Beachway took on the challenge of helping me work thru that trauma. I opened up to the program and other woman like never before. I had an amazing counselor, amazing case manager, and amazing staff that were there anytime i had moments of high anxiety or worry. I am so disappointed i ruined my chances of having a chance at going thru a trauma program with Beachway. Just in the short time i was there i did gain a small sense of self back. If you were like me and worry about making friends with the other clients because they wont understand you or like you, that is not even close to true. I found a sense of community that i couldnt find anywhere else in my life. If i manage to find a magic lamp, one of my wishes would definitely be used on looking young forever after that id wish to feel the peace and serenity i felt at Beachway. Thanks to them i had just enough courage to get me and my kids out of my bad situation. Now my goal is to continue with trauma therapy. Do not be me and let your past dictate your future. No matter how clean you are from drugs that trauma will creep up on you and when it does use tools like Beachway to seek help instead of the alternative, and please for the love of your higher power get out of your own way and accept their help before you get kicked out like i did. I am forever grateful. Thanks for letting me share my expierence, strength and hope.

Response from the owner
Hi Ashley,
Thank you so much for bravely sharing your story and for your kind words about Beachway. Your honesty, strength, and desire to break generational cycles are truly inspiring. We’re grateful to have been part of your healing journey, even for a short time, and we're proud of the courage it took for you to take that first step toward healing.

My experience at Banyan was very good. The staff was very helpful, the therapy was extremely beneficial , and the food was great! Like with all rehabs, it is what you make of it. If you go there thinking everything is perfect, you’ll be disappointed, it’s not. If you go for simply a social experience, it’s not a resort. If you go because you’re serious about your recovery, it’s a great place to take the first step !
