Benjamin Champion is the heartbeat of Retreat and the therapists are the life blood. I've improved mentally, while attending Intensive Outpatient Treatment with Denise Barnes and have built a toolbox of coping skills and practical experience that helps me live my daily life. I am grateful to all of the staff who are welcoming and kind like Vanna Anderson. Maureen Rogers created a welcoming environment as I was hesitant to seek help for my suicidal ideation. Very Understanding place. Dr. Greg was helpful therapist. If considering to attend other Rehabs I recommend this facility. Also "Barbara" on the phone call was very truthful and it was as she said it would be like. So I have been to a lot of rehabs and this was the only one that told complete truth over phone of how it works.

A real rehabilitation center that I can thank for being sober and clean today! The staff was amazing, the groups were the best therapy that I took so much out of! After detox I was place in a house with 5 other patients and had freedom to choose to stay clean or go around the block and relapse! I met so many awesome folks who were just like me and addict! It's a very great environment and way better than the other rehabs I attended that kept me locked up for 30 days in a hospital! Thank You All!!

I have been to rehabs previously, however Beachside was the first rehab where the 12 steps were not a mandated expectation. It was truly a holistic experience, offering sound therapy, reiki, massages, fitness activities and more. The onsite gym, albeit small, offered dumbbells, treadmill, Peloton Bike, and a Nordic Row. I would have preferred if it included a few kettle bells, but overall the extent of the gym was more than I expected. The cafeteria was always clean and well stocked - the chefs were friendly and warm. Whether it was the salad bar or the amazing curated meals, or the classic cheeseburger - the food was never a source of concern for me. The entire staff was outstanding - from the Ops Manager Rasheed, down to every single BHT. House Keeping staff were muy bueno. Kitchen staff, therapists, recreational staff, I could go on and on with lists and praise. I have never felt so heard and so welcomed as I did by the Beachside employees. There were some inequities between the PHP and Residential program, but nothing that caused me any significant concern - just areas where I submitted suggestions to improve processes. I truly am thankful to Beachside for the serenity they provided while I was there and I would highly recommend them to anyone who has a need for Mental Health or Substance Use Rehab.

This place and the people at Bright Futures are truly something special. I’ve been through multiple rehab centers, and while each offered something helpful, I always ended up back in the same cycle—drinking, isolating, losing myself. I came to Bright Futures broken, scared, and exhausted—not just physically, but mentally and emotionally. It wasn’t just the substance use that nearly destroyed me, it was the lack of hope. From the very first phone call, I felt like I wasn’t just another intake. I spoke with someone who took the time to listen to my story, answer my questions about detox placement, insurance, and what to expect from PHP. I was skeptical at first. I didn’t believe in myself. But Bright Futures believed in me before I could. When I arrived at the facility in Boynton Beach, I was immediately welcomed with warmth and zero judgment. I was assigned a case manager, Jennifer, who not only kept my treatment organized but supported me emotionally every step of the way. She helped coordinate everything—from therapy sessions to aftercare planning to helping me talk to my family again. My primary therapist, Matt, made an enormous impact. He didn’t just run through a script—he took the time to dig deep with me, identify my trauma, and help me develop real coping skills. We worked through things I had buried for years. The group therapy sessions led by Ashley were raw and transformative. She created a safe space where I could share, cry, and most importantly—heal. Melissa, part of the support staff, always made sure I was okay. Some days I didn’t need therapy—I just needed someone to sit with me or remind me to eat. Carlos, one of the techs in the sober living side, treated me like a human being when I was at my worst. They didn’t just do their jobs—they genuinely cared. The clinical structure here is solid. I was placed in a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) after detox, then moved into outpatient therapy and continued working on myself while staying in the sober living housing they set me up with. The facility was clean, the food was good, the housing felt safe, and the schedule helped me rebuild my routine. The best thing about Bright Futures isn’t just the therapy or the services—it’s the people. Everyone from leadership to the cleaning staff seemed committed to helping us succeed. There were no shortcuts. Just honesty, consistency, and compassion. I left Bright Futures with a recovery plan, coping tools, a support network, and something I hadn’t had in a long time—hope. I still check in with some of the staff. They didn’t just get me sober; they helped me remember who I am and who I want to be. If you or someone you love is looking for real help—not just a detox and discharge, but real addiction treatment with clinical structure and heart—this is the place. I have been here and did not appreciate until I saw what’s out there. I was lucky enough to be sponsored. I just have chronic insomnia and extreme anxiety, of course they would not let me take my prescription meds Long story short I didn’t sleep for 30 days perhaps 15 minutes to an hour a night but compared to everything else out there this was a golden opportunity. I should’ve stayed two more weeks as my friend was going to be in the Bahamas. My situation is alcohol. I thank the Hanley center very much for sponsoring me. I was so lucky. Sometimes you don’t realize it right away. It was only my second time in rehab when one other girl I knew had been in rehab 35 times. I must add this is no slouch of a rehab. There are people from very good homes and have gone even to Ivy League schools, but no one knew what the word insomnia meant which I found quite odd. I’ve been diagnosed my whole life with that. I felt like a guinea pig each night they tried to give me some psych med to put me to sleep. Finally, I gave up and would only take melatonin and maybe Advil it still didn’t put me to sleep…if I could turn the clock around I would go back and stay the extra two weeks my friend was in the Bahamas for two weeks when she was supposed to pick me up, so she wanted me to stay longer. I should have listened to her. I am looking into rehab centers now. The reviews are very scary and there is no one to sponsor me. After leaving it has been a total nightmare. The wrong person picked me up and they tried to scam me for $. perhaps I should give you five stars. I also should not have been drinking coffee cause that is caffeine. Thank you again for the opportunity, Miss Donna Quinn. I recommend this place to anyone seeking help.

I went to The Beachcomber in 2020 after 12 years struggling as an alcoholic. What I walked into wasn’t what I expected after a few stints at other rehabs. They were tough, hard on us. When I came into Elan I was broken, I had no trust in rehab centers and they changed my way of thinking. They earned my trust and helped me save my life. The staff is truly the best hand picked employees a rehab center could have. All the therapists are phenomenal in what they do, they have all helped me and have gave me the criteria to live a honest clean sober life. The Techs are wonderful they’re so welcoming and do anything to make you comfortable, the lead techs Keri & Scott are so insightful. The family program that the therapist Lystra conducted was the most HEALING EXPERIENCE and has helped with a lifetime worth of damage. We keep in contact weekly and it’s the most beautiful relationship I’ve bonded with a therapist, thank you Lystra for all you do. In 1981 my mom attended PBI. I got to visit for family week. I enjoyed all the meetings and what I learned. My mom struggled over the years a nit after graduating PBI. The staff, therapist, groups, & adventure therapies are so amazing. I couldn't recommend Intrepid more for your journey in recovery. Everyone genuinely cares for you! Not to mention it's holistic activities are wonderful! Massages, acupuncture, yoga. It's such a great place to reset & find yourself after active addiction.
