Brian the Chef cannot get enough praise and recognition for being a master of his craft. Not only is he an amazing chef but an even better human. The chefs were amazing and they always had a good variety, also they had snacks so if you get hungry at night, there was always something to eat. and last, but not least the text. Matt, Mark. and all the others (I can’t remember all of their names) were super friendly and helped you get your stuff when you needed it. They were quiet and respectful at night. And then you have the groups, they were all amazing. They were the perfect size anywhere from 10 to 15 people. And they didn’t just take easy route, they actually had us to work and challenges. And with our free time, there is plenty of stuff to do whether it was playing pool, racquetball, basketball, beautiful gym, TVs in every single room, including your own, books and magazines, and board games everywhere. I knew that I had a problem and needed a radical change in my life. The staff was so welcoming and provided the space for me to start to put together my life without the ego and self-righteousness that had kept me alive up until now. I am grateful that, as a client, I was encouraged to get a sponsor, work steps and attend meetings, all of the things that I had skated past in my previous treatment experience. I have just finished with my 7th step and am meeting with my sponsor to discuss steps 8,9,10. I am also building a strong network of women that have what I want: integrity, empathy and long-term sobriety. As far as the groups go, we really delve into the psychology behind addiction and get to talk about how it presents in our daily lives. If I ever need to talk to any staff member, they are always there to guide me. Some days are harder than others, but I am getting through and that is a testament to what Foundations stands for. Keith Glidden 3 weeks ago Let me start by sharing that I had been using off and on (mostly on) for roughly 26 years my DOC. I sought help through a Facebook reel that I saw last fall in 2025. I did not go immediately because I still believed I could do it all on my own. So for the next 7 months this place/person would reach out to me either on my phone or by text. They would ask if I was ok and depending what day it was, I would respond with the number of days I was in recovery or the days I was in relapse. Eventually, I became more and more exhausted with this never-ending cycle. I hurt myself at work. I was so scared and afraid as to how the situation was going to end up. So I became extremely transparent with everyone that it was time for me to get help. I reached out to the people who had been touching base with me and said I was ready. I had actually even been afraid that it wasn’t a real place because it sounded too good to be true. Sunrise meditations on the beach, rock climbing, paddle boarding, nature walks paired with amazing therapists and behavioral health technicians. But it was just as good as they said, actually it was better. I am now in the second stage of the program. I’ll be 60 days clean in six days and this was the best decision I could’ve ever made for myself. All of the staff, all of the nurses, all of the nurse practitioners, doctors, therapist and the BHT’s are an amazing group of people. Especially their leadership who all have an open door policy! ♥️♥️ They make you feel loved immediately. And when they say they’ve got you, they actually sincerely mean they’ve got you. I don’t know about you, but I know that I had heard that many, many times in my life and it never was true. But here it’s different. I’m still on my journey to recovery, but I am very healthy in my journey of recovery and I don’t expect it to turn out any less than the way it’s been going so far which is positive and successful. He does a great job of making sure that you are correctly able to identify what got you here in the first place like the fact that being in rehab is not a choice. It is a result of your addiction. Your recovery is the choice you get to make if you put in the work. If you feel that you’ll get more benefit from learning the psychology of things then Dr. B’s group is perfect for you in the other room. And if you want a variety of techniques Jamie is amazing at balance including things such as music therapy, Ted Talks, and recovery speakers in addition to the regular conversations. Is Luminous perfect and issue free? NO. However, it is here to test you and make sure that while you’re under their protective bubble of life you learn to deal with life, cravings, and coping mechanisms the right way. There are many employees who are here for all the right reasons. Some have been through rehab and dealt with addiction themselves and are able to give you insight into what the correct steps to make are without all the fluff like the lead tech Novak who assists in the majority of day to day operations. My case manager Elise goes above and beyond her scope of her job title. While clients speak amongst themselves about issues they may be having, she is brought up as the one who often helps clients that aren’t under her management and picks up slack for other ppl who try to redirect you to someone else for assistance. It’s no wonder that when the new case manager came in they had her shadow her rather than the more senior case manager. Overall I thank Luminous and the entire staff and clients who all contributed to my Successful rehab completion. They have assisted me in my discovery phase and have put me on the path to recovery. I felt supported and feel confident in my post-residential plan to continue my recovery (after 30 days on-site.) As with everything, there are opportunities - for residential Clients, there are not opportunities for equestrian therapy, outdoor yoga or kayaking. (You will stay on “campus” for the full duration of your residential stay.) There are also no individualized, chef-prepared meals - breakfast, lunch and dinner come directly off the back of a Sodexo truck. The lack of these did not, in anyway, hinder my recovery, but they may be important to other potential Clients and are included on the website. Communication from ‘administrators’ was also inconsistent and ineffective, however staff changes were in-process during my tenure. In sum, my time at Beachside allowed me to reset, learn and grow as an individual and leave with discrete next steps to ensure my continued recovery. Like anything, a stay at Beachside is what you make it - e.g. if you put in the work, the entire team will be supportive and go above and beyond to ensure you feel supported. The staff great the food was great the only issue when the people over the phone tell you this place is on the ⛱️ Beach it's a lie. That's their other location. If they say nature walk that's a lie well not really get ready for the influx of baby Godzilla in your room. If they say a pool is an inflatable pool. Just know they lie about the amenities. Other than that this staff is nice good was great. It looks like the Bates motel.

This place an amazing regeneration program when I first came into cross training I tryed everything to go back home. Not for my family but for my selfish reasons. After ing being there I realized I was a very selfish person I was in addiction of drugs and achohol for 2 to 3 years before. This regeneration program helped me grow up and become a good Cristian man it is a lump sum of time so you think but if you look at it as an investment it is the greatestt one you can make. I have nothing bad to say about this place. First of all, I wanna say the staff is amazing! Of course you have Roni, her beautiful face and smile is the first one you see as you walk through the doors, she works hard and is always running around and getting things done. Ashley is the same, Getting stuff done and go, go, go All well-being super friendly. All the nurses And providersare amazing, I never had a bad experience with them. My case manager Lauren was another one of my favorites, Lauren got everything done and quickly and efficient manner. The chefs were amazing and they always had a good variety, also they had snacks so if you get hungry at night, there was always something to eat. and last, but not least the text. Matt, Mark. and all the others (I can’t remember all of their names) were super friendly and helped you get your stuff when you needed it. They were quiet and respectful at night. And then you have the groups, they were all amazing. They were the perfect size anywhere from 10 to 15 people. And they didn’t just take easy route, they actually had us to work and challenges. And with our free time, there is plenty of stuff to do whether it was playing pool, racquetball, basketball, beautiful gym, TVs in every single room, including your own, books and magazines, and board games everywhere. I would highly recommend The Haven! I hope I never have to see them again lol, but if I do, I know where to come.

I entered into Foundations for PHP a month ago, a broken, scared woman-child. I knew that I had a problem and needed a radical change in my life. The staff was so welcoming and provided the space for me to start to put together my life without the ego and self-righteousness that had kept me alive up until now. I am grateful that, as a client, I was encouraged to get a sponsor, work steps and attend meetings, all of the things that I had skated past in my previous treatment experience. I have just finished with my 7th step and am meeting with my sponsor to discuss steps 8,9,10. I am also building a strong network of women that have what I want: integrity, empathy and long-term sobriety. As far as the groups go, we really delve into the psychology behind addiction and get to talk about how it presents in our daily lives. If I ever need to talk to any staff member, they are always there to guide me. Some days are harder than others, but I am getting through and that is a testament to what Foundations stands for. I highly recommend this program to anyone that wants to find a better way to live.

I have so much to be thankful for this company and this process! I was one of those convinced that I didn’t need treatment, that I could do this all on my own. But I’d tried it my way too many times without success. Finally reaching out for help has been one of the best decisions of my life. The staff here are amazing! From the therapists, the BHT’s, case workers, everyone. And especially the LIV program. All of the activities like snorkeling, paddle boarding, and rock climbing to name a few really helped me to remember the person I used to be. Let me start by sharing that I had been using off and on (mostly on) for roughly 26 years my DOC. I sought help through a Facebook reel that I saw last fall in 2025. I did not go immediately because I still believed I could do it all on my own. So for the next 7 months this place/person would reach out to me either on my phone or by text. They would ask if I was ok and depending what day it was, I would respond with the number of days I was in recovery or the days I was in relapse. Eventually, I became more and more exhausted with this never-ending cycle. I hurt myself at work. I was so scared and afraid as to how the situation was going to end up. So I became extremely transparent with everyone that it was time for me to get help. I reached out to the people who had been touching base with me and said I was ready. I had actually even been afraid that it wasn’t a real place because it sounded too good to be true. Sunrise meditations on the beach, rock climbing, paddle boarding, nature walks paired with amazing therapists and behavioral health technicians. But it was just as good as they said, actually it was better. I am now in the second stage of the program. I’ll be 60 days clean in six days and this was the best decision I could’ve ever made for myself. All of the staff, all of the nurses, all of the nurse practitioners, doctors, therapist and the BHT’s are an amazing group of people. Especially their leadership who all have an open door policy! ♥️♥️ They make you feel loved immediately. And when they say they’ve got you, they actually sincerely mean they’ve got you. I don’t know about you, but I know that I had heard that many, many times in my life and it never was true. But here it’s different. I’m still on my journey to recovery, but I am very healthy in my journey of recovery and I don’t expect it to turn out any less than the way it’s been going so far which is positive and successful.

We are forever grateful…… Mental health can be an incredible lonely battle. There’s still so much misunderstanding, judgment, and stigma surrounding it and sometimes people are made to feel like their struggle defines who they are. You and your team looked past the hardest moments and you saw someone who was still worth helping, protecting and worth believing in.That kind of compassion cannot be measured by one act alone. That is the kind of compassion that can reach someone when they are at their lowest and remind them that they are still a person and loved and it gives them a reason to keep going. To every person at First Step Behavioral Health please know that our family noticed. To everyone that sometimes may feel forgotten. The individuals who brought her food, a warm blanket, cleaned up after her and then told her it was ok and reminded her she wasn’t alone. We noticed. We noticed the little things. We noticed the people who went out of their way to make her feel cared for when she couldn’t care for herself. We noticed the people who continued showing up even when the days were difficult. And most importantly we noticed the love. You may not realize how much those moments meant, but they meant everything to us. When we couldn’t be there. I completed there 30 day in patient substance program and loved it, I had been to carpool daf and another down south, and was by far my best experience! All the staff, l Ike really im not joking a ALL OF THE STAFF THERE GO OUT OF THERE WAY, AND THEY DO NOT FORGET IF YOU ARE NEED OF SOMETHING THEY TAKE CARE OF IT RIGHT AWAY! AND IF THEY ARENT ABLE THEY WILL EXPLAIN WHY. OTHER PLACE ARENT LIKE THIS PEOPLE AND STAFF WANT TO COME TO WORK GET PAID AND LEAVE, ITS LIKE ALL THE STAFF WHERE TRAINED IN NOT FORGETING,AND THEY ACTUALLY UNDERSTAND AND CARE, I WOULD RECOMEND ANYONE WITH A SUBSTANCE ABUSE PROBLEM COME HERE. Hands down the best mental health facility I’ve been to. Everyone here is so kind, understanding, and actually makes you feel like they genuinely care about you as a person. The staff made me feel comfortable and supported from the beginning, and the overall environment is nothing like what I’ve experienced at other places. I’m extremely grateful for the experience I had with this program. From the very beginning, they made the entire process as easy and stress-free as possible, including helping me with my flight and getting me set up at the right facility so I could be as comfortable and focused as possible. One thing that meant a lot to me was that they even took my dog in when I had nowhere else to put him. That took a huge weight off my shoulders and allowed me to focus on myself and getting my life back on track. I’m truly thankful for the staff, the support, and everything this program did for me. It gave me the opportunity to get my life moving in the right direction, and I’ll always appreciate that. I spent 60 days as PHP and 30 days as IOP at this rehab facility. There’s always 2 group rooms to choose from with activation of group facilitators and therapists that run the groups. While here I spent most of my time Scott’s group in the morning. He does a great job of making sure that you are correctly able to identify what got you here in the first place like the fact that being in rehab is not a choice. It is a result of your addiction. Your recovery is the choice you get to make if you put in the work. If you feel that you’ll get more benefit from learning the psychology of things then Dr. B’s group is perfect for you in the other room. And if you want a variety of techniques Jamie is amazing at balance including things such as music therapy, Ted Talks, and recovery speakers in addition to the regular conversations. Is Luminous perfect and issue free? NO. However, it is here to test you and make sure that while you’re under their protective bubble of life you learn to deal with life, cravings, and coping mechanisms the right way. There are many employees who are here for all the right reasons. Some have been through rehab and dealt with addiction themselves and are able to give you insight into what the correct steps to make are without all the fluff like the lead tech Novak who assists in the majority of day to day operations. My case manager Elise goes above and beyond her scope of her job title. While clients speak amongst themselves about issues they may be having, she is brought up as the one who often helps clients that aren’t under her management and picks up slack for other ppl who try to redirect you to someone else for assistance. It’s no wonder that when the new case manager came in they had her shadow her rather than the more senior case manager. Overall I thank Luminous and the entire staff and clients who all contributed to my Successful rehab completion. They have assisted me in my discovery phase and have put me on the path to recovery. I can now claim to be 90 days clean and sober for the first time in over 20 years. Thanks again.

I am completely impressed. Coastal Detox and residential is absolutely gorgeous, well maintained, clean, and on the ball. The staff is 24/7, from nurses to Techs, doctors, therapists and counselors. Three chefs that are over the top with beautifully prepared meals, even made to order if I did not like what was on the menu. Judy was available every single day, and evenings as well. I saw an influx of anywhere from 29 to 45 patients handled professionally and seamlessly. Shout out to Karen for helping me through my first week. Her kind words and support motivated me to stay and get the help I needed. All the Techs are kind, funny, patient and I felt safe the entirety of my 40 day stay. Doctor Amanda is brilliant. The only doctor I ever trusted. Thank you so much Amanda for helping me with my anxiety. Shout out to Claire and Catherine, my therapists. I saw them every single day. Intelligent, compassionate, beautiful women genuinely interested in listening and getting my needs met. 10 stars to the nursing staff! I have never witnessed a team of better educated, concientios and patient women and men, doing a 100% job, all day, all night, every single day. Wow. I could go on, because everyone and everything at Coastal Detox was above par and they saved my life. I cried when I left, and I hope to see you guys in my new, healthy, sober community soon! I recently stayed at Beachside and will say that my experience was overwhelmingly positive. I give the facility credit for amenities, available services (e.g. yoga, reiki, sound therapy, breathing therapy, AA, etc.), the nursing (unmatched - incredible) and “tech” personnel in addition to the vast majority of therapists and case managers. I felt supported and feel confident in my post-residential plan to continue my recovery (after 30 days on-site.) As with everything, there are opportunities - for residential Clients, there are not opportunities for equestrian therapy, outdoor yoga or kayaking. (You will stay on “campus” for the full duration of your residential stay.) There are also no individualized, chef-prepared meals - breakfast, lunch and dinner come directly off the back of a Sodexo truck. The lack of these did not, in anyway, hinder my recovery, but they may be important to other potential Clients and are included on the website. Communication from ‘administrators’ was also inconsistent and ineffective, however staff changes were in-process during my tenure. In sum, my time at Beachside allowed me to reset, learn and grow as an individual and leave with discrete next steps to ensure my continued recovery. Like anything, a stay at Beachside is what you make it - e.g. if you put in the work, the entire team will be supportive and go above and beyond to ensure you feel supported. I celebrated 33 days yesterday and give a tremendous amount of credit to the team at Beachside. I recommend. cmm

There are simply no words to express how deeply grateful our family is to the Hanley Center. I believe God led our son there at exactly the right time and that the people at Hanley were an answer to our prayers. Our son needed inpatient treatment for alcoholism, however, our local facility had no inpatient beds available. Outpatient treatment was offered, but it wasn’t enough. When we contacted Hanley, Renee Rogers and her entire admissions team immediately stepped in. They treated him as an emergency admit, worked with his insurance, and made the entire process happen quickly and seamlessly. When he landed at the airport, a car was already waiting for him. Their professionalism was matched by an extraordinary level of compassion and genuine care. My husband and I attended family week, which was truly life-changing. The education and guidance we received were phenomenal and gave us a much deeper understanding of addiction, recovery, and how we can support our son and our family moving forward. I strongly encourage every family to participate. Our son’s primary therapist, Michael Friedman, was simply exceptional. He is incredibly knowledgeable, personable, compassionate and gifted at what he does. We will forever be grateful for the role he played in our son’s recovery. Coming into another detox and rehab was not what I wanted to go through again. I was 3 1/2 hours away from home and just lost my job. Allure ending up being the best thing for me. I was able to focus on my sobriety and get the help I needed. The techs, counselors and nurses are very understanding and can relate to what we all were going through. With their strength and hope I left there ready to give this program 100% on a daily basis.
