This Luxury recovery was amazing the nurses, care, groups, and group facilitators, the food and the cafeteria staff, physical therapist (Charlie) therapist, (Melanie) EMDR (Olivia) therapist, alumni on staff (Ian and John) the atmosphere was absolutely beautiful. The recreation set up from Pickleball to volleyball to yoga and art. Were all totally impressive. The small touches like the grand piano the guitar and the musical instruments for people to have an outlet are amazing. I have never seen more caring, empathetic, and non-judgmental nursing staff with Nina, Rosemary, Chris, Kim, and Kim, Sharon and Stephanie and Demara And so many more. I love the foundations app. It keeps me in touch with the alumni and events and accountable with daily check ins. Ian for sharing that. It’s a wonderful tool. The Koi pond and waterfall were gorgeous pool And Jacuzzi, relaxing and the walks very refreshing. I am grateful for the opportunity to spend a couple of weeks here.

The team was very attentive, and the facility was very organized. They helped me find direction in a path where I felt there were no signs, and they taught me values that I can now apply with my family and friends. Hi I'm Michael Fulton ive been too coastal detox many times.Over the coarse of two years its a shame as too how many times it was .probably 20 times But it's not the place ,staff,medical or the therapist. I'm a alcoholic and been so for 45 years or more the family thats owns and runs coastal detox are so caring for addicts, alcoholics,and mental health they make sure and only hire people who have the same love,devotion towards the clients. I'm writing this because .(I'M FINALLY SOBER FOR OVER A YEAR) the first time in 50 plus years without being in JAIL,PRISON OR TREATMENT CENTER and between those 3 place in them many times BECAUSE OF MY ADDICTION but being honest about it. ALL of these places tried too help me (COASTAL DETOX) went above and beyond for ME coastal detox (MRS JUDY) I new treatment centers, detox, hospital, jails, BUT DIDNT know recovery I THANK GOD EVERY DAY THAT COASTAL DETOX LET ME GO BACK THERE ONE MORE TIME because everyone else were done with me. I'M SAYING ALL THIS TOO SAY YES ITS NICE TOO BE IN 5 STAR TREATMENT CENTER, DETOX IT MAKES IT EASIER THE STAFF SO HELPFUL AND KIND. ( BUT PLEASE DON'T BE LIKE ME AND TAKE IT ALL FOR GRANTED) IM THE ONLY KID MY MOM HAS LEFT BECAUSE OF ADDICTION IM SO GRATEFUL FOR COASTAL IVE NOT TOUCHED A DROP OF ALCOHOL SENCE I LEFT THERE NOW IM ABLE TO TAKE CARE OF MY MOM WHO LOST EVERYTHING BECAUSE OF ALCOHOL AND DRUGS SEE SHE NEVER USED ANYTHING BUT LOST EVERYTHING BECAUSE OF ADDICTION. Ambrosia in Port St. Lucie is an incredible facility with outstanding professionals. Nadine was my therapist and she was an absolute 10/10 clinician—incredibly supportive, skilled, and impactful. Additionally, James, who ran the family groups, was phenomenal in his approach. Even though my own family wasn't present, the environment he created allowed us to support one another seamlessly—such as reading letters out loud to stand-in family members in the audience. It created a deeply powerful space for healing grief. Now, eight years sober, I highly respect their professionalism and would recommend their program to anyone looking for true support.

If you or a loved one is struggling, I highly recommend Ambrosia Treatment Center. It truly changes lives. The admissions team is professional, knowledgeable, and empathetic (Specifically Alan) which reassured me that I came to the right place. The admissions process was seamless! I’m beyond grateful for the care and support my sister received here. The therapists and counselors are incredibly knowledgeable and approachable, always going above and beyond to help work through challenges at your own pace. The mental health support is just as strong as the substance abuse treatment, making a huge difference in her journey. I can’t say enough amazing things about this facility!

My daughter was at Ambrosia for several months and we had a positive experience. The best part about Ambrosia was the therapist. Therapist Katelyn is the first therapist who my daughter ever felt a connection to. Katelyn was absolutely amazing with my daughter and to our family. Best staff ever! Relaxing place to detox. Edit: Dr. Cordero-Torres is the medical director and he also oversees the Broward Health psych ward. He makes MAJOR cash. When I had primo insurance he made sure to take advantage of it.

I don’t usually write reviews, but this place changed my life. I came here after an overdose and a heart attack, not knowing if I’d make it. Today, I’ve been sober since October 13th, 2021—and haven’t relapsed since. 🙏The staff truly cared and gave me the tools and support I still use every day. How to explain it cause dr betty is very nice and sometimes if you need help then she always take you in very early and the staff in the front office they are very nice but don't let the bad vibes hurt/fool you because the new horizons stuart is always here to help or the injection from fort pierce to stuart injection staff that gives me the injection every 3 month's they are helpful and nice so if you need help again then new horizon stuart they got your back with meds. (:

I am writing to share my positive experience regarding the recent admission process for my daughter. Despite initial skepticism based on online reviews, my interactions with the management and admissions team were professional and efficient, ensuring a seamless transition. The facility is located in an affluent area of Martin County, quiet, peaceful and decorated with greenery and open spaces. The management and staff are very professional. Every residential program comes with its own set of challenges, especially when children are involved, and this one is no exception. You can’t let the actions of a few staff members who struggle with good decision‑making define the entire team. This work is incredibly demanding, and there are many staff members who show up every day committed to making a real difference in these kids’ lives and setting them up for success. Their dedication deserves to be recognized. Even so, I want to acknowledge the consistency and communication I experienced throughout my son’s stay. His therapist (Thanks Mr. A!) made weekly calls, sharing the positives, the challenges, and the milestones—big or small. That level of transparency mattered to me. I can’t say my son made a complete turnaround, but I also recognize that growth requires personal effort and accountability. This environment isn’t meant to be all play and games; it’s a place where real work has to happen. If I’m being fully honest, I did feel there could have been stronger consequences and accountability for certain decisions. At the same time, I understand how difficult it is to navigate these situations in a residential setting. It’s a tough environment to manage, and there are no perfect solutions. Overall, despite the complexities, I appreciate the dedication and communication from the staff. Progress isn’t always linear, but the support was there. The residential facility had two incredible nurses, Mrs. M and Mrs. M, who truly carried a mama’s heart. I always felt they cared for the residents as if they were their own children. Even when the updates about my child weren’t what I wanted to hear, they had a way of turning a difficult situation into something constructive and hopeful. Their compassion and steady presence made a real difference. Although I genuinely felt my son would have benefited from staying longer, I also recognize that the staff advocated for him and that some decisions were simply beyond their control. Even with those limitations, I could see they were trying to do what they believed was best within the structure they had to work with.

You have to stay ahead of appointments, prescriptions, medications, etc. Dr Kepfer is experienced and knowledgeable psych Dr. she will guide you in the right direction. As a patient you have to follow through with orders. Mental health is difficult. We have to be proactive about our self care and educate ourselves on diagnosis. Medication is a “helper.” I, you, all patients must learn about your disease. Group therapy is an excellent way to learn about yourself, triggers, coping mechanisms, side effects, etc. If you’re not willing to help yourself, you can’t expect your dr to fix everything.

I don't think a day goes by that I don't thank dunklin and God for saving my son's life. Every time I got a phone call in the middle of the night I thought it was the police calling to tell me my son has died from an overdose. This place and the women who work here are nothing short of the best. I have been in the IOP program for about 2 months and it's been a healing and rewarding journey. The counselors don't put up with bs, and they have seen it all. They are there to help and give their time whenever asked. I walked into this facility not knowing what to expect at all. It was hands down the best decision I have ever made when it came to dealing with my addiction and my life. From the staff to all the other clients. I can’t say enough!! YOU GET WHAT YOU PUT INTO IT!!!!! I personally I had life changing experience. I was able to RESET myself and find the person that I knew I could be. If you are in the fence about something like this... get out of your comfort zone - take the step for yourself!! This place saved my life. I was there July 2016. I’m from Boston, Massachusetts. I have state insurance. I’m someone who not in their wildest dreams could ever afford a treatment facility that wasn’t state funded. Been to many over the course of my addiction, last 15yrs. State insurance of course made it almost impossible to find an open bed if you didn’t call at exactly the right time that bed becomes available. I spent weeks calling these places everyday all day. I called addiction treatment hotlines so many times they practically knew who I was. I came to the conclusion that if I was to get the proper treatment it’s gonna cost thousands of dollars. At the time I couldn’t afford a hot dog! Then I was offered the opportunity of a lifetime. My stepdad offered to help pay for me to go to an out-of-state rehab. My girlfriend and I both started making calls to find a place in my price range. Executive Recovery offered to negotiate with me. The very next day I was on a plane to Florida. From the very beginning of my intake they went above and beyond to help in anyway they could to start my recovery off on the right foot. Again this coming from someone who’s only ever been to state funded treatment facilities. I’ve never been to such a place even on vacation. Our treatment plan was, Group Therapy, Monday-Saturday 9-4, each group focusing on a different aspect of addiction with a different group leader. Which I was blown away by the the therapists leading the groups. Every one of them had their own past history involving addiction. It wasn’t just a job for them. Every one of them happy to be there helping other addicts achieve lasting sobriety. Never once did I feel judgement by anyone. You can’t fake sincerity like that. Sunday was a mandatory sober activity. My fellow addicts in treatment with me were all amazing people from all over the country. People who actually wanted to be there, who paid big $$ to be there. Not people being forced or court ordered to be there and can’t wait to get out and back to the life. The dynamic was unlike anything I’ve ever experienced in other treatment places. Being in an environment surrounded by people wanting to better themselves was a huge factor in my success. Some people complained about not getting what was promised in their website, blah blah blah. But me? I was nothing but grateful I was given this opportunity. I didn’t care much that there wasn’t a masseuse for massage therapy. Seriously I’m poor and never had a massage in my life. So not a priority. Even without the massage therapy😂I’m still sober today, go figure!

Got on in 1 day. All are nice and dr is nice guy. If anyone Has a problem I say go here . In and out fast for your Dose . My pain clinic Resolute in Port St. Lucie a dr.Kucheria kick me off for a false urine and I was stuck he would not retest me . 11 yrs with no dirty ones i could have had serious problems or died due to him. I went here they help me in a few hours . I highly recommend this place if you have any issues with your meds or other problems. All staff members are extremely nice and careing , they are there to help you , not just to get a pay check every week. My first counselor has been gone over a year , but we're still friends and we text and stay in touch. If you want help this is the place to go. They are here to help you if you want it. Hours are from 5 :30 am till 11:00 am i believe now there closed on Saturday and Sunday... so youll need to invest in a take home box. You can find them at CVS or other shops, staples, etc. Under $15.00 . They are there to help you if you want it...everyone on staff is polite and helping. I recommend this place if you need it , they will help or tell you what to do.. I give this clinic a ( 10 )

They are absolutely wonderful. And I'm so grateful for this place. just about everyone there is absolutely amazing. There's only like 2 nurses there that I think are miserable and hate their job other than that. Everybody else is absolutely amazing. My counselor April ,Katrina, and everyone else. They're all a delight and so helpful. The only thing I would like to know is why they are not up to par With the federal guidelines for methadone clinics in the state of florida for take homes. Actually as of April 2024 , they updated the methodone clinic guidelines for the state of Florida for take homes for people to be able to have take homes after 30 days of being at the clinic. And if they have clean urine. I know I have not had any dirty urine tests. And I have been at the clinic for more than 30 days and it would be a blessing if they could be up to par with the new federal guidelines for the state of Florida. So I can have weekly take homes. It would really help out so much. It is very difficult for me to come all the way from Jensen beach every to get my dose at the clinic. Anyways, but other than that , i am truly blessed to have found this place. And I'm so grateful for everyone who works there and has helped me in my recovery. Definitely recommend this place to anyone who is trying to recover from addiction.

For ANY ONE who is struggling with a benzodiazepine addiction and/or dependence, in my case it was Klonopin & Xanax being prescribed DAILY by multiple psychiatrists for the past 10 years, GO TO NEW BEGINNINGS and they will help you to get your life back:)! From my very first phone call i was overwhelmed with the support and kindness by the entire staff. It's been a little over a month and i am no longer on the strong benzo's and have had NO withdrawal symptoms. This is a HUGE deal because i have tried to stop taking these drugs before and they have left me in such bad ways because it was too fast of a detox and i had no idea what i was doing, even when i followed they taper suggestions by my OWN DOCTOR:( The staff at NB are extremely knowledgeable. They listen to you, they support you, they don't judge you. They use one of THE BEST techniques for benzo detox, The Heather Ashton method, which was founded by a doctor in the UK. They understand the damage the drugs have done to the brain and they encourage a slow, steady recovery to fully heal the brain. Joy, my detox nurse, is one of the kindest people ever and really wants to see people get healed. She checks in with me EVERY day and takes her job very seriously. Robyn, my health coach, has been vital to my recovery as well. Her desire to help is evident and her friendliness is contagious. Peter, my psychiatric nurse practitioner, listens intently and is constantly making sure I am as comfortable as possible. Maribel, the receptionist, is the first face i see when i come to my appointments and she always greets me with a smile. Everybody at NB's CARES! I just began doing the amino acid IV therapy and i would HIGHLY recommend it to EVERY one. There is a bit of a learning curve but it is well worth taking the time to use this incredible treatment. I really cannot say enough great things about this program. I drive an hour and 15 minutes to each appointment and ever since i began the program i haven't thought twice about not continuing. I already feel like I am coming back to life. I cannot wait to meet the "real me" at the end of this. I will be FOREVER thankful to New Beginnings and the blessing they have been to my life.

It was with great trepidation that I first contacted NBRC. From that first telephone conversation, I felt supported, understood and compelled to pursue their outpatient program. Kim is one of the best therapists I've had the opportunity to receive services from. I began therapy at a very chaotic and uncertain time in my life, and through therapy, she helped me understand the roots of my issues and provided solid advice for tackling it. She's empathetic, patient, and direct. She wasn't afraid to point out issues in my behavior and thought processes, and it was that honesty, combined with her empathy, that really helped empower me to better take responsibility for my life. She really does care for her patients, and if you're someone who is struggling in life and you need help, she's one of the best therapists to work with, especially in the Martin County area. When I stopped therapy, I wasn't as grateful as I should have been.
