Ambrosia in Port St. Lucie is an incredible facility with outstanding professionals. Nadine was my therapist and she was an absolute 10/10 clinician—incredibly supportive, skilled, and impactful. Additionally, James, who ran the family groups, was phenomenal in his approach. Even though my own family wasn't present, the environment he created allowed us to support one another seamlessly—such as reading letters out loud to stand-in family members in the audience. It created a deeply powerful space for healing grief. Now, eight years sober, I highly respect their professionalism and would recommend their program to anyone looking for true support.

The admissions team is professional, knowledgeable, and empathetic (Specifically Alan) which reassured me that I came to the right place. The admissions process was seamless! I’m beyond grateful for the care and support my sister received here. The therapists and counselors are incredibly knowledgeable and approachable, always going above and beyond to help work through challenges at your own pace. The mental health support is just as strong as the substance abuse treatment, making a huge difference in her journey. I can’t say enough amazing things about this facility!

I came to Beach House Recovery from South Louisiana, during the darkest and hardest time of my life. Helpless , hopeless, and no light in sight. My personal experience: This place welcomed me with open arms when I arrived at 11pm and all of the staff and techs and therapist were always very helpful and I did feel they truly cared. They showed me what healing and recovery truly is. With a clean and beautiful campusc great food, and awesome amenities such as a pool, pickleball, basketball court, and a nice workout room. I was able to not only heal physically but mentally and emotionally. It took a few days to settle in but I made a great group of friends who were serious about recovery and healing. The treatment was very educational and eye opening. This place and the program saved my life and I will forever be grateful for Beach House Recovery and their staff and Drs and nurses and the lifetime long friends in sobriety I met there ♻️✌️

I honestly don’t know where I would be today without Beach House’s amazing alumni coordinator, Heather. If it wasn’t for her, I truly don’t think I would have ever come back to Beach House when I needed help the most. She believed in me, encouraged me, and reminded me that my story wasn’t over, even when I couldn’t see that for myself. She has taught me so much about what it truly means to stay sober, to take recovery seriously, and to keep showing up even on the hard days. More than that, she has helped bring me closer to God and shown me how much faith can play a role in recovery and in everyday life. She helped me to understand the vital importance of a 12 step program and a Higher power and that IS THE ONLY reason I am still sober today. The impact she has had on me goes far beyond her job title — she has genuinely helped change the direction of my life. Beach House will always hold a special place in my heart, but having someone like her there made all the difference. I will forever be grateful for her, for everything she has taught me, and for the role she played in helping me find my way back to recovery and closer to God. ❤️

On top of that, the center is clean, comfortable, loaded with great amenities, and the food was top-tier. ​I’ve sent both friends and family through their doors since my stay, and we are ALL still sober today. That speaks volumes about what they do. Even years later, you aren't forgotten—their alumni team frequently reaches out to check in and remind you that you always have support. Four years sober and I still love staying connected with them. They truly become part of your journey and feel like family. ​ 10/10 recommend. This place saved my life. The views outside are phenomenal, the staff is phenomenal. My therapist is hunter, and he does a fantastic job at making you feel comfortable and safe to open up. Make sure you get a chance to meet Mike, just make sure you don't have the same last night as someone from Seinfeld. I met some amazing people here, everyone was so kind and calm. It's just an amazing place to go. If you're dealing with any type of addiction, definitely check this place out. I'm excited to move onto PHP, IOP, then change my life for the better. How to explain it cause dr betty is very nice and sometimes if you need help then she always take you in very early and the staff in the front office they are very nice but don't let the bad vibes hurt/fool you because the new horizons stuart is always here to help or the injection from fort pierce to stuart injection staff that gives me the injection every 3 month's they are helpful and nice so if you need help again then new horizon stuart they got your back with meds. (:

I can’t say enough good things about this residence and detox, I came here thinking I would just get sober, but they have completely shifted my Point of View on my whole way of thinking. The staff here are so ridiculously accommodating, Sheldon, Amanda, Gene and Katie are some of the most caring individuals I have had the pleasure of interacting with. If you are thinking of sending yourself or a close friend or family member to their facilities I strongly recommend this place. There therapists are top notch and always ask the right questions! The food that is served is above and beyond! I truly think that they all love what they do and the energy is palpable as soon as you walk in the door…. I will certainly use this as a reference resource to others who are struggling!

I was recently admitted to JMC and I can not tell you enough how grateful I am for the treatment that I received. From the moment I walked through the doors I was greeted with nothing but kindness. From security and the volunteers, to registration. The nurses in pre-op, Michelle, Tori ( I believe that was her name), and Noel from the IV unit. Thank you. I started at the ER and was moved to the hospital for emergency surgery. I must say, if it weren’t for the pain I was in, I would have felt like I was on a mini vacation. Obviously there isn’t a spa but the level of care given by the staff and the cleanliness maintained made it feel very welcoming. The nurses all worked as a team and it seemed they enjoy what they do, they enjoy each other, and they truly enjoy taking care of you. Special shout out to nurse Kahlila she was so so kind and talking to her made me feel at home. Thank you Jupiter Medical team for making a health crises feel manageable!!!

This was my first time in treatment, and didn’t know what to expect. The staff was kind and professional. The way therapy groups are structured, created a daily routine and schedule to simplify the path to recovery. All staff were caring and supportive of all clients, but a few that really went the extra mile for me like Janie, Trish, Linda and Leigh really stood out to me. The sense of community and friendships I made, have definitely left a mark and had a hand in shaping my path in recovery.

I have had an amazing experience with this facility...recovery that sticks...from the new housing, great staff, and flexible food options...I was given the care I needed to get things right in my life and beat addiction...the staff is great, Jess my therapist is incredible to work with and can connect with anyone in a friendly way that can be appropriately tough when needs to be but is relatable and encouraging, it's obvious she loves what she does, my caseworker Janey gave me solutions that set me up for success during and after php level of care, and she goes above and beyond what's required to make things possible for us...last but not least I cannot forget the techs the blue that holds the place together. RBS techs are behind the scenes and available keeping everything running through the day and available 24 hours a day. They keep the place clean they get the beds ready they make sure we get to and from where we need to be. They also go out of their way getting us all the varies requests that we make that they don't necessarily have to do all in the kindness of their hearts... When we have bad days they still get the job done no matter where the clients are at or how they are being treated they're sensitive to the fact that sometimes we're difficult and our moods can go up and down trying to deal with so many new people while we're trying to get sober and learn coping skills. Out of all the techs I would have to say Taylor has gone above and beyond we had a rough start the first time that I tried to come through and I left... When I came back and actually finished this program you forgave me for how I was and has gone out of her way to help with little things that made big differences. She handles her daily responsibilities thoroughly and make sure things are done right and with care. Thank you RBS for this amazing experience I will be forever grateful!!! P.S. special thanks to all the people involved in my recovery here but I haven't mentioned therapists, techs, caseworkers, doctors, nurses, clinical directors, and all of the incredible group facilitators that fed me what I needed to overcome the need to use substance helping find that I never had a substance issue that I had an issue with my life and the way things were going. For showing me a different solution for those troubles that don't lead to substance abuse.

I was with my friend as they were being admitted to this detox center. They spoke to the rehab staff with the staff on speakerphone and I overheard the conversation. I was astonished with the kindness and patience of the staff member, and how respectful they were to my friend. They answered all questions and made sure my friend understood to satisfaction. The Agape staff member was understanding and empathetic when my friend expressed hesitancies and ambivalence to change. It felt like a breath of fresh air, especially with how difficult the mental health care system as a whole can be to navigate. It can be really scary to admit yourself to rehab: you’re going somewhere new, you don’t know what to expect. The staff here really helps their clients feel heard, understood, and supported in their journey to recovery. If you are thinking about a detox center, I highly recommend agape to anyone in Florida! They truly care about your sobriety and respect the community they help. Special shout out to Laura who helps identify problem areas, create action plans, and help relapse prevention! She recommended AA in a way that really got through to my friend and helped tremendously.

You have to stay ahead of appointments, prescriptions, medications, etc. Dr Kepfer is experienced and knowledgeable psych Dr. she will guide you in the right direction. As a patient you have to follow through with orders. Mental health is difficult. We have to be proactive about our self care and educate ourselves on diagnosis. Medication is a “helper.” I, you, all patients must learn about your disease. Group therapy is an excellent way to learn about yourself, triggers, coping mechanisms, side effects, etc. If you’re not willing to help yourself, you can’t expect your dr to fix everything.

Essentials has been SO important to my sobriety journey, I cannot thank them enough. They take the time and care to get to know each client as an individual and then match them up with the best services to fit your needs. They cover all the bases with an interdisciplinary approach to substance issues and mental health - but more than that, they make you feel empowered to take charge of your own recovery.
