Ive been with gateway close to two years now, and never once did I feel unwelcomed or unappreciated. Even when I switched my primary counselor, it never felt the same as the amazing women in gateway. The receptionist are always so sweet and will work with you to help sort iut appointments quick and easy. The counselors have my heart as well, they listen and understand me in ways I didn't think was possible. I wouldn't want to go to any other counseling office after gateway.

My daughter was just came home from treatment at Lakeview/Stepping Stone! After a very long struggle with alcohol, as a family we gave her an ultimatum to go to this facility for treatment. She was very reluctant and it took ALOT of persuasion but she finally committed to going. From the very moment I reached out to Tommy to the minute I called the facility to pick her up we had the absolute BEST CARE! My daughter has described the staff as being ANGLES ON EARTH !! These wonderful people saved her life!!! It took a lot of courage for her to commit to this as she was leaving behind a baby and a husband. She said the minute she stepped inside the door her anxiety went away. The staff was genuinely there to help her recovery. I was a resident at Lakeview for 42 days. I am an older person and was apprehensive about fitting in . There was no need to worry I was treated with respect and dignity. My alcohol addiction came later in life and a family member found Lakeview for me. I have read many reviews both positive and negative. I must say that I was cared for and cared about. I was a resident with women from all walks of life and ethnicities and I saw treatment equally across the board. When there were objections from fellow residents about treatment I was able to see both sides however , my observation was that many times there was an unwillingness on the part of the resident to completely comply to the prescribed regimen. This is not a place to go if you want to be coddled. If that s the case you may not be ready for recovery. But I can tell you I worked the program, gave myself over to the process of recovery and came out the other side. I certainly ran up against obstacles but this program taught me how to deal with them in a positive successful manner. I would personally like to recognize Karen, Kaylee, Shanna, Meredith and Suneeta to name just a few. The therapists are a great group, but it goes much deeper than that. The staff is there 24/7 and I was made to feel safe at all times through their dedication and teamwork.If you want to free yourself of addiction and are ready for a new life consider this treatment. I can tell you I didn t always agree with some protocol but this program gave me the tools to state my concerns, be heard and come to a resolution that benefitted me and stay in compliance with Lakeview s policies.

So anyone who needs help and wants sobriety I highly recommend Beaches Recovery. Chris Colcord is truly an angel and the staff at Tides, Mike, Lindsay, Celeste..my counselor Matt! Absolutely amazing team there. And then when you move over to Beaches, Elizabeth is the best therapist, constantly advocating and fighting for us..and the house techs Jennifer, Dawn and Sydney truly care and help with any and all that you need. I could never thank them all enough for everything and being apart of my journey in sobriety. I will forever be thankful. If anyone needs help call Chris Colcord..he'll fight to get you the help you need!

I'm so very thankful I found this place! I've been going here for quite some time and I know it has helped me. TREMENDOUSLY! Mr. Bill is an extremely considerate and patient person to hear all of my situations without criticism. Miss Alicia has done so much to upgrade the facility and you can tell she wholeheartedly cares. And my wonderful nurses, well they are the best!! Mrs. Katherine, Mrs. Janice and Mrs. Shanda are the most thoughtful women you will ever meet!! After all the time I've spent here, it almost seems like a small family. Definitely a supportive community. I would highly recommend to anyone!! I appreciate everything they do to help the community!
