I was a patient at Lakeview from October 20, 2002, to November 19, 2002. I was there during Lakeview's infancy, when there was only one building, a couple of picnic tables, a basketball hoop and a beat up volleyball net. I can tell you, with great conviction, their program works. Lakeview gave me the tools I needed to learn how to live a sober life. I still use those tools today, and I have been sober for just over 23 years now. I wish I could come down there and speak to the people currently residing there and tell them it's possible to turn theirs lives around. I am living proof of that, Thank you, Lakeview.

I was forced to go to Lakeview but I'm happy that I did. I finally admitted that I was an addict and I needed help and I need to change my life. At first I did not want to participate or talk with anyone but after a couple days of hearing other people's stories I realize where I was at in my life and where I was going to end up if I continue. During my stay here I follow their program schedule and start going to the group therapy. For some you may think it's dumb, useless, waste of time but if you really just be more open-minded and use what they teach you it will make a big difference in your life. A big plus for me while I was here was the pool and the gym, never really use the pool but it is a very nice pool with a nice view of the pond I'm back to the gym the gym have everything that you need and yes they do have real trainers. You only get access to the pool and gym if you're in the store, php, and IOP if you're in stepping stone you're out of luck. Yes you can bring your car and leave it park at the Star Wednesday and Saturday are outings AA meeting Monday, Wednesday and Friday NA meeting Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday Walmart runs and etc

Dr Herbly is kind and understanding, never in a hurry. I always feel more positive and hopeful after talking with him.

Our loved one has now moved on to a sober-living home in another state for career-related reasons. While we wish he had chosen to stay longer and then continue with TARC’s sober-living program, which we understand is also very strong, we remain deeply grateful for the foundation TARC helped him build. Amazing place......if you have a loved one struggling with addiction, call them today! My son attended 4 months and is now at their sober living house. The staff is like family to him! They truly care about their patients and the families. It is a wonderful place.

I’m grateful for Willingway Hospital! Willingway gave me a sense of willingness and the ability to love myself and others. The staff was able to understand what I was feeling and going through from being recovering addicts themselves. That gave me the will to be honest, trustworthy and to be open minded about my addiction. When I arrived to Willingway I was torn, broken, lonely, shame, depress and didn’t love myself or knew how to love others. During my process, I was able to establish a relationship with GOD, learn about my faults, charter defects and accepted that I am an addict. Willingway gave me another chance at life to rebuild my relationship with my wife and kids. I didn’t have them before entering into treatment. None of this would have been possible without the encouragement and the mindset to receive what Willingway had to offer me.
