I feel if I continue at this pace I’ll be free from my dependency. The staff at groups are wonderful and my meeting time is great. I have no issues whatsoever of Groups Recover Together. In May- July 2024 my daughter received 12 weeks of intensive outpatient therapy three times a week at HCA Orange Park Behavioral Health. I must admit that I was skeptical at first as a retired RN and former patient at the Mayo Clinic until I personally met the staff. From the Receptionist, Tech, Therapist, and the Director Heather who all reassured me that they would all support and care for my precious daughter during her holistic healing journey. And they all did exactly that!!! She completed her group therapy with the tools she need in moving forward in hope in her quest for wellness and in wholeness!!! Dr Parsons is by far the kindest doctor I have ever had while being prescribed this medication for 14 years. I recently found out that I am pregnant and the stress is high. I’ve had a horrible time keeping my medication down and it’s really caused me to have some issues. I’ve called so many times to talk to her and she always calls back personally. She’s so kind, she already got me off of my antidepressant. I never thought I would be off of it. She’s so informative, more than anybody I’ve ever seen. I’m treated like a human being here. I couldn’t appreciate it more especially during this stressful time. If you are looking for a good doctor that cares, this should be your last stop.

Lisa, Betty, and Doctor P, I called up today, not expecting much, but knowing my job was in jeopardy. I was sick, I needed help. Withing hours, I was able to sea a doctor, and get prescribed. There is a huge weight off my shoulders, not worrying about " my next one" or how much money i spend chasing it. For the next month, I can sleep, work, and be a Husband, Father, Son, Brother, not worrying about my problem. I used what little vacation time I had to take today off work, because.... I was sick... I was just bragging about Lakeview and pointing a friend in this direction, and i was shocked to see even one negative review. Lakeview was amazing, it saved my life. It felt like a vacation, Its practically a health resort. It was so peaceful and serene. I felt I was cared about when cared for, I felt like they were actually invested in my recovery rather than feeling like a number. From the nurses to the blue-shirts, the therapists, the kitchen staff... everyone was so nice and supportive. The food was amazing, honestly. The pool was nice, gym was immaculate. Yoga instructors were awesome. We went for surfing lessons, went out to a horse farm to pet and feed some little horses. You have a massage therapist come in, and someone to come in for haircuts. Theres even a little zen meditation room. The lake on the men's side is full of life, little ducks and geese, big bass and turtles you can feed - although I don't think you're supposed to, anyways. The facility is nice, its got a real pretty view, good food, great staff. I cant imagine how they could go wrong. If I had to complain, the apartments, the PHP after the inpatient - the last period before you graduate... the apartments kind of sucked, but the comradery, the fellowship there.. it was a great place to transition back into the real world. And the girl at the window that took the cigarette and vape orders seemed like she was always having a bad day... but still. This place is amazing. I love Lakeview. I brag about my experience there. I highly recommend it.

I was a patient at Lakeview from October 20, 2002, to November 19, 2002. I was there during Lakeview's infancy, when there was only one building, a couple of picnic tables, a basketball hoop and a beat up volleyball net. I can tell you, with great conviction, their program works. Lakeview gave me the tools I needed to learn how to live a sober life. I still use those tools today, and I have been sober for just over 23 years now. I wish I could come down there and speak to the people currently residing there and tell them it's possible to turn theirs lives around. I am living proof of that, Thank you, Lakeview.

I didn’t always agree with how everything was run, but overall the program was truly worthwhile and helped me tremendously. The therapists were exceptional, and I credit them—along with other staff members—for my engagement and my desire to fully commit to and benefit from my time there. The programming was a major strength, especially the medical sessions led by doctors and nurses, as well as the psychotherapy sessions led by trained therapists. These were pivotal to my success. They also offer nightly 12‑step meetings, typically hosted by outside groups such as AA and NA, which added meaningful support. The living arrangements exceeded my expectations. The dorm room was comfortable (the beds were genuinely great), the food was very good with a wide variety of options every day, and there was a healthy balance of structured programming and downtime for reading, homework, movies, and rest. One thing that particularly impressed me was their weekly Town Hall, where patients can openly raise concerns, complaints, suggestions, and compliments directly with leadership, including the CEO, Clinical Director, Nursing, Maintenance, and BHTs. While the facility is clearly short‑staffed, I never once felt unsafe or discouraged from voicing my concerns. Some of the rules could be frustrating, but they are clearly in place for patient safety. I am 44 days sober today. When I arrived, I was angry at the world, ready to leave AMA, and intent on drinking myself to death. I left with a powerful desire to live and to continue doing the next right thing to stay grounded in my recovery. Stepping Stone—especially my individual therapist and the classes—saved my life. I will be forever grateful.

I just wanted to share that I have been going to this clinic off and on since 2013. I have came and gone, I have had counselor after counselor. My counselor now is IRA. I have been close with a lot of my counselors before but he’s the first counselor I can honestly say I have been 100% honest with. No judgement. When I think I have accomplished something as small as a grain of sand he reminds me of the mountain I just moved. Today I broke down and he brought up things that hit the heart with me and made so much sense because he actually listens. Other counselors have pushed me to go to meetings when all I needed was one on one counseling and the counseling I received today was exactly what I needed. I just wanted to share how awesome IRA is and how much he is apppreciated. I am so thankful for this clinic because I don’t feel so alone anymore. If you’re thinking about starting I would recommend this clinic 1000 percent. I’ve gone to multiple clinics and this clinic is by far the best

I started my journey on the JAX1 campus, and transfered to the new Lakeland FL campus after the closing of JAX1. The campus is so beautiful and I am so glad I made the move with the campus. Sober Living America changed the way I see life as well as how I see myself. They gave me the tools I needed to live a sober life and have peace and joy again. Salvatore was my Director on JAX1 and remains my Director on the Lakeland campus. He shows such grace every day. He chooses recovery over character and money. ​The Outpatient "3 People Per Day" Rumor ​Gateway Community Services is a large-scale provider that handles a high volume of people across detox, residential, and outpatient care. They do not limit their entire outpatient program to 3 people a day. However, some clinics may limit their "new" patient intake to 3 per day and on some occasions a specific doctor or counselor at the clinic might only have open slots for 3 individual appointments on a particular day. All in all this is a fantastic place that has helped a lot of people including me! They never give up on one individual as I have seen multiple people come and go multiple times! If you want sobriety, you will achieve and maintain sobriety! No, its not as simple as that...but it can be! Dont give up! You only truly fail if you accept that failure. Remember: pain is only temporary and success is only dictated by your own "natural" happiness! Let it go, be free and dont let a substance control your life; allow yourself to rule yourself and watch as everything else, falls into place!

I had a very good experience with Wekiva Springs Center. They gave lots of opportunities for healing such as counseling, group meetings, exercise area and even swimming. They provided patients with clothes, food and snacks as needed. It's a great place to get your mind and meds corrected in a safe environment. They are very good about checking up on patients to make sure they are safe. I really loved working with Charles as a counselor. He even prayed with me when asked. Amazing staff!

I wanted to change/update a prior review. I had a minor miss understanding and lack of communication initially, but a manager called me and was very kind and helpful. Although I didn't ultimately end up going (I was able to safely take care of my health issue and feel a lot better now), that manager that called me really made a difference. She's not obligated to call me on her free time. But she did, because she wanted to know I was doing okay. That's something unusual these days... getting decent customer service. I wish anyone all the best if they are going through any health or personal issues.

I come here for my Matrix Program/CRC aftercare program. Its a program your in after to you get out of the Matrix Drug Rehabilitation Program in the jail. I have been apart of the MATRIX Program for almost 8 years something like that. I started recovery that long ago when I finished the program the first time. I didn't know I was already in the process of getting clean. God started working through me and in and out of addiction I have always had a feeling that someone or some entity has been watching. Guiding me, helping me out without interference because that's one of the rules of the game. The Kennedy Center is the perfect place for the youth and actually anyone that needs help or a safe place to come and hangout. They have a gym basket ball court clothes closet case managers a swimming pool. Just a staff who is truly trying to protect the futures of America. That's why I am so dedicated to staying clean and not backing down to the devil. One day at a time. We all have to struggle to get to greatness it seems like That way we can be more grateful and have humility in the eyes of the Lord. A friend I know had a good experience here last year during a mental health crisis. The staff, despite being clearly overburdened and overwhelmed by no fault of their own, treated my friend with decency, dignity, and respect. The facility was clean, the food was acceptable, and there were lots of activities and books to keep my friend busy while they adjusted to new medication. In the unit my friend was in, the common area had a large skylight above, which greatly helped reduce their anxiety around the carceral environment. It was also easy to use the phone there to reach friends and family (crucial!). I would recommend this facility if you or someone you love is in crisis. My friend has been to multiple inpatient psych hospitals & though this one is not perfect (none of them are) it was humane, clean, and kept my friend safe during an emergency while they stabilized.

Ive had some mixed feelings about Clay Behavioral since my son started. The main office has some work to do regarding following up with parents, especially after hospitalization but there are a few amazing gems at the OP location that have made up for it. The clinician who did his intake, Brittany, was amazing and makes a great first impression when seeking mental health resources. She explained everything so thoroughly, asked a lot of thoughtful questions and truly cared about the answers. She made my son feel so comfortable! She advocated for him when I was having some issues getting appointments as well! She helped me get in contact with another great clinician Sherry, who was a care coordinator after his hospital stay. She was super informative and incredibly kind during a tough time. Follow up is so important in mental health, it can be devastating to feel forgotten especially to a teen. Brittany and Sherry made sure he felt like a priority and im so thankful for their help this last month!

"I cannot say enough good things about this clinic. The entire nursing staff is so kind, but Ms. Karen ('Miss Kay') and Parnell truly stand out—they are always such a pleasure to talk to! The new receptionist is incredibly sweet; her beautiful smile and soft voice are so refreshing to walk into.Most importantly, my counselor, Mr. Lawrence, is absolutely amazing. I’ve been attending clinics like this since 2022 and have worked with about 10 different counselors, and he is by far the bestest. He makes it so easy to open up, always has a smile on his face, and is genuinely ready to listen to my stories and worries. He is a supportive ray of sunshine, and I am incredibly grateful for him!"
