About Buprenorphine Treatment Centers, Inc

Buprenorphine Treatment Center in Orange Park, Florida offers outpatient care for adults experiencing opioid use disorder and co-occurring mental health concerns. Flexible scheduling, including evening hours and telehealth options, helps clients maintain work and personal routines during treatment.

Same day treatment is available at all five of their Florida locations. They welcome individuals who are new to recovery as well as those seeking relapse prevention. Most major insurance plans are accepted, and affordable options are available for uninsured clients.

Suboxone and Subutex Prescribed

Their medication assisted treatment here uses buprenorphine (Suboxone and Subutex) in combination with counseling and behavioral therapy. I think it’s helpful that they also help clients who want to switch from methadone to Suboxone or Subutex.

Psychiatric care includes treatment for anxiety, PTSD, depression and other mental health conditions that may contribute to substance use. Evidence based approaches are used by experienced clinicians, and care plans are tailored to address each client’s diagnoses and needs.

Orange Park Highlights

If you’re looking to grab a bite to eat or do some shopping between appointments, the center is just minutes from the Orange Park Mall. I noticed that Orange Park Medical Center and Moosehaven are nearby for medical services. Jack Shearer Park and St. Johns River are within reach for some quiet time in between treatment sessions.

Quick Appointments and Compassionate Care

Clients praise the compassionate, accessible care they received during critical times. They say the staff is responsive, with doctors personally returning calls and offering same day appointments when needed.

Dr Parsons is by far the kindest doctor I have ever had while being prescribed this medication for 14 years. I recently found out that I am pregnant and the stress is high. I’ve had a horrible time keeping my medication down and it’s really caused me to have some issues. I’ve called so many times to talk to her and she always calls back personally. She’s so kind, she already got me off of my antidepressant. I never thought I would be off of it. She’s so informative, more than anybody I’ve ever seen. I’m treated like a human being here. I couldn’t appreciate it more especially during this stressful time. If you are looking for a good doctor that cares, this should be your last stop.

Lisa, Betty, and Doctor P, I called up today, not expecting much, but knowing my job was in jeopardy. I was sick, I needed help. Withing hours, I was able to sea a doctor, and get prescribed. There is a huge weight off my shoulders, not worrying about " my next one" or how much money i spend chasing it. For the next month, I can sleep, work, and be a Husband, Father, Son, Brother, not worrying about my problem. I used what little vacation time I had to take today off work, because.... I was sick... I'm sure I would have gone to work tomorrow, but I would have been... pathetic. You guys saved me, Thank You, Thank You from the Deepest Depths of My Heart. Sincerely, Emil W. Hoeltzel

Other Forms of Payment

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

Outpatient rehabs encompass multiple levels of care to facilitate clients' progress through their recovery journey. Clients who are stepping down from inpatient treatment may require intensive outpatient (IOP) treatment, which involves more frequent and substantive therapeutic interventions than does standard outpatient care. Outpatient centers typically provide extensive addiction counseling, including individual, group, and family therapy. Medication assisted treatment programs (MAT) and recovery-focused life skills training are also common in outpatient care.

Clinical Services

Individual therapy often includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. This is a structured approach to identifying and changing negative thought patterns. During therapy you learn how what you think drives your actions so you can develop healthier coping strategies to manage addiction triggers and reduce drug use.

Group therapy provides a safe and supportive environment for people in Florida who are struggling with drug addiction. There you can openly discuss the challenges and progress you're making without fear of judgment from your peers who experience many of the same things you are.
