I've simply been blessed by Tri county, they gave me a safe and secure environment in which to heal and adapt to living sober. The staff is incredible ,they don't just come to work to get a paycheck they come because they sincerely care about each and every client that comes through the door .A lot of them relate to clients on a deeper level because they are in long term sobriety. One of the best rehabs I have been too. I have been to. Therapist Maria is amazing. There is always more than 1 group to choose from and information is broken down in interactive and easy to understand way. Groups are led by very knowledgeable therapist. Staff and nurses amazing as well! Director does not hide behind a door. Beds are comfy, tvs in room , gym and pool. Food isn't bad. They meet you were you are but dont leave u there.

White Sands saved my life in February and continues to do so to this day. If you are looking for help and are finally willing to reach out, there is no better option than White Sands. The staff at White Sands, many of whom are serving others as a way to they themselves stay clean, are absolutely amazing. Their desire is to pick you up, dust you off, and watch you grow. From the moment you arrive at inpatient they do their best to get you in and comfortable. Each day gets easier and there is not one person who couldn't benefit from their MRT program. In outpatient the IOP program and individual counseling teaches and strengthens you by offering a different way to live. The counselors truly care and want to see you succeed. It isn't easy to ask for help and it isn't a sign of weakness. If you're willing to admit you need help, White Sands is the place to turn to.

Josh is one of the best most compassionate employees in this place. I hope they are giving him a decent yearly raise. My practitioner is really good too. I only have one complaint but I won’t remove a star because the actual office location is so good*, the call center is absolute GARBAGE!! Never have I ever dealt with such people. They want so much personal information just to transfer your call to the winter haven location. I don’t like repeating my personal information over the phone because digital fraud is a growing problem. Things would be TONS better if behavioral health could get their own direct line. It seems at this rate they will probably want your blood type just to transfer a call 😩😮‍💨. It will definitely test the Christ in you to deal with jumping through their hoops. Outside of that, overall great place!

After five years of therapy, I have successfully completed treatment and discharged — something I once wasn’t sure would ever be possible. I began in addiction and substance abuse counseling and later transitioned into mental health therapy, and throughout every stage of my journey, Mrs. Barbara Pritts at Tri-County Human Services provided consistent, compassionate, and professional care. There were seasons of progress, relapse, rebuilding, and recovery again. What meant the most to me was that through it all, I was never judged or given up on. Mrs. Barbs created a safe, structured space where I could be honest, accountable, and supported — even during my hardest moments. One of the most meaningful parts of my healing journey connects to a book called Much Afraid, which includes a powerful image of a flaming red flower named “Bearing the Cost,” also known as forgiveness. That symbol represents what I struggled with most — forgiving myself. Forgiving others came easily, but learning to extend that same grace to myself took years of work, growth, and guidance. Through therapy, I finally learned how to carry that “red flower” — not with shame, but with acceptance and strength. Over time, I gained the tools, insight, and emotional stability I needed not just to recover, but to truly grow. Today, I feel safe, stronger, and confident enough to move forward independently, and that is something I’m incredibly proud of. I am deeply grateful for the patience, guidance, and commitment shown to me over these five years. Every time I make a new account for a free YT Premium subscription I always leave a 5 star review for WhiteSands. I went three times and it was always so magical. It’s great during the winter months even more so. I was just talking to a friend about WS and we were talking about how it’s such a vacation…. Wake up and walk to the common area with the breakfast buffet. Get a cup of coffee. Walk back to your room and get ready for the day. Process group. 11am group. Now it’s nap time. Afternoon group. Phone. Gym. Hit the buffet… again. Some sort of activity at 8pm. Now the day is almost over and you and your roommate agree on a movie… but first you’re a little hungry so grab a snack and walk around for a second. Anyways. My last time I was there I was a real brat because I was scared…. You know the real world hits fast. 40 hour work week. 5 meetings a week. Therapy. I’m off the Suboxone now, also. Anyways just I think I’m so melancholic about WS is it always because a beacon of Hope. From my first time to the third time I usually arrive in trash bags spun out. And I don’t plan on relapsing. But I made the mistake of going to a treatment center on the East Coast and the entire time I was there I kept saying “You’re not doing this right. You get a vape! Where’s the vape? Where’s the nightly activity? Where’s the community?” The therapist and counselors are actually top tier. Case Managers actually are hands on there. Sometimes I just get so flustered with life I wish I could just go back to WhiteSands and take a break. It’s literally the only reason I pay my insurance premiums.

Incredibly grateful for my stay at WhiteSands. This is as close to five star that you'll get with Florida Blue. Received amazing therapy with Maria, she's an asset to the company! Also thanks to Lawrence, Donald, Anna, Eric, Mike, and Keshawna for group sessions. I've been here before, and they've improved! Amazing case management, medical (including nurses), psych, dietary, gym facilities, and extra activities to keep things interesting. WS has everything you need to begin the healing process and enjoy your stay. I leave with the tools for a successful recovery.

Love this place as soon as I got in here, I was an immediate crisis and they did nothing But take their time to help me out the food was okay It could be better, but it was still good enough to eat When I first got in here, there was a technician named Eric. I really appreciate him and the help that he did. There were a few other nurses I didn’t know their names, but they’re amazing people too. They did nothing but care and want to help and they had Nothing but empathy when I got to the unit, there were even more staff that made sure I was okay And great service the whole time I was there The only little tiny The thing about it that I don’t like is the lights being on at night, but I understand thats just for safety Other than that If you’re in crisis, these people are here to help

My son had his first appointment with the doctor this August 2025. Kristy Oneill was very attentive to his needs and prescribed medication that was available in the pharmacy the same day. This was a huge relief because my son was in high anxiety, his hands were trembling, and he had not slept the whole night before the visit. Thanks to her help, his condition stabilized. We will continue therapy and work on finding the right treatment that will help him adapt socially and eventually find a job, so he can feel meaningful and confident in himself. Thank you ❤️❤️‍🩹

I saw all the bad reviews and was honestly terrified....... Especially since it was 2 hours away from my home. However, it wasn't so bad. I mean, there's going to be a couple of annoying apples....... Like Sylvania or whenever the Jamaican woman's name was... Chatty and bossy. But overall I felt like this place has sort of turned around, at least in my opinion. Darren the Patient Tech was very informative and communicative. Patricia was wonderful ... I think they tried to be gentle with me. I feel like as long as you work with them, you won't be put on an unnecessary hold. Just being honest. The only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the schedule is lacking........ I feel like a lot of the time I just spent sleeping instead of doing group therapy, etc.... ah well.

I just got out of here and it was probably the most humbling experience I’ve ever had. I suffer from bi-polar, depression, and anxiety. I always thought my life was over and it was the worst but the people there have it way worst. The staff and psychiatrist and social workers love their job and people I felt loved and cared for. This place also brought me back to god. I’d say the only negative is they cover the windows in most units (not mine though), and the mattress and chairs are uncomfortable. Other than those things I would highly recommend this hospital.

I want to start out by saying that this place will always have a special place in my heart. I did detox and residential and it gives you the start you need to rewire your brain and a great place to getaway from people places and things. First off, I want to thank the group facilitators Mimi and Melissa. These two have the best hearts and want the best for every client. They are the backbone to this rehab. Secondly, to my incredible therapist Maribel who took me under her wing and gave me tools I will never forget and helped me so much with my panic attacks. Thank you to the case managers Shonti and Shay for being there for me during my discharges! ALL the BHT techs who are amazing at what they do and each helped me incredibly, especially Tee, Sharida, Keyshawn, Gracey, Yazzel. Thank you Ray and Nivel for keeping us safe and making the environment as safe as it was for me. You guys are doing an incredible job. Thank you to Dez, Marley for the intake and biobed. The nursing staff and ESPECIALLY Kristen and Kristy (provider) who literally saved me from my panic attacks. And the cleaning crew who are amazing at their job. If I missed anyone, I apologize as there was so many people that helped me. I love you all regardless. This is a wonderful place to start your journey, it's what you make of it. Hang with those that are there to make their lives for better and your time here will go by quickly like it did for me. As a client at Banyan Sebring I have to say the staff was excellent. From the beginning they treated me with respect and care. Case managers Shay and Shanti were extremely helpful and supportive. The BHT staff was always hardworking and attentive of my needs and concerns. Neville, Michael, Jermaine, Latifah, Daja, Taliba, Nike, Keshawn, Grace , Shawn, Yaser and Hanoy truly care about your comfort. Dez, the Intake Coordinator is just the coolest and sweetest person you could meet and made coming into a new place easier than I thought it would be, tip, ask for the bio bed it’s a life saver. The Nurses here don’t just dispense medicine the care about how they are affecting you, Don, Kristen and Sharleene are just a few, but all of them care just as much. Ranisha was my therapist and I felt extremely blessed to have her, she genuinely helped me with seeing things much more clearly and I’m leaving a much better person for it. Last but not least, group coordinators, Mimi and Mellisa were truly amazing and made my day so much better helping me learn so much more about myself. I’m running groups with care and love. They are truly the kindest people you will ever meet. Some people may come in thinking they don’t belong here, but honestly, the staff cares more than you could ever know. Give Banyan Sebring a chance you won’t be disappointed

The Lake Recovery truly changed my life. Last November, I made the decision to enter a 30-day inpatient treatment program because I knew I needed more help than the people who loved me could give me on their own. I walked in carrying years of trauma, hurt, shame, anger, fear, and emotions I had learned to survive instead of actually heal from. From the beginning, the staff helped me feel supported, understood, and safe enough to finally start doing the difficult work on myself. Treatment did not magically make life perfect, but it gave me tools, perspective, self-awareness, and a completely different way of looking at my life and my trauma. I especially want to give the biggest possible shoutout to my therapist, Katherine Fanning Wesley. I genuinely do not believe I would have been able to complete those 30 days without her. Katherine met me where I was, pushed me when I needed to be pushed, gave me compassion when I needed grace, and helped me recognize the difference between the things that happened to me and the person I am. The Therapy is definitely top notch. I’m bougie as it comes so I was a little bummed that their hot tub didn’t work they could invest in a better pontoon boat, but those two things didn’t interfere with the care that I received. She helped me understand my triggers, work on impulse control, set healthier boundaries, become more intentional with my decisions, and stop allowing my trauma to define my entire identity. Stop allowing my job become my entire identity. She also helped me find my laugh again and reminded me that healing can mean using the painful parts of your story to become a better, stronger, more loving version of yourself. I still have hard days and I am still a work in progress, but I can honestly say I do not think, react, or carry myself the way I did before treatment. The growth I have experienced since walking through those doors is something I will always be grateful for. To Katherine and everyone at The Lake Recovery: thank you for giving me tools when I did not have them, perspective when I could not see clearly, and support during one of the most vulnerable times of my life. Seeking help was one of the best decisions I have ever made, and I will never be embarrassed to say that. Thanks for the luxury facility that felt closer to home. The concierge were always there and willing to help in anyway they possibly could. If you are struggling and wondering whether getting help is worth it, it absolutely can be. Give yourself the opportunity to heal.

My life was spiraling downhill and I had no useful coping skills when I walked into Sunrise Detox scared and hopeless over a year ago. All the nurses and techs were attentive, compassionate and made the detox process as comfortable as possible. The transition to Evolve Recovery was seamless and the best decision for me. The group therapy was well facilitated and dealt with issues relative to today’s environment. The individual sessions with my counselor Michelle were paramount to my success. Michelle never made me feel rushed. She was invested in my recovery. She involved my family in my treatment which was critical to saving my marriage. She assessed my situation and made the most appropriate discharge recommendations. Evolve showed me the needs and skills to navigate life without alcohol. That coupled with them bringing in nightly outside recovery speakers inspired hope that I can do this. I am forever grateful to Sunrise/Evolve for being the start to my recovery. I am over a year sober now, active daily in my recovery and it is all thanks to this facility and the amazing staff they have.

Outstanding program! Everyone is very welcoming and supportive. I was fortunate enough to stay in the new housing for the duration of PHP. It’s a good balance of freedom and accountability. As compared to being locked down like other PHPs I had considered. Sophros provided a number of different approaches in sessions to help keep everyone engaged. And my therapist Shannon was top notch. Definitely would recommend.

I have gone to many, many treatment centers in an attempt to adress my alcoholism. Countless. The staff at Sophros is unlike anything Iv'e encountered. They are not just a business, and we are.not just numbers. The individualized attention and care for our wellbeing is by far unmatched. I have the pleasure of having Shannon as my therapist, connecting dots and helping me see things that no other therapist has been able to do. Rayshawn, the senior therapist provides ART, a therapy I knew nothing about but honestly has changed my life in a big way. Tim, in charge of housing here, goes above and beyond for us everyday helping us set.ourselves up for success. Even the techs are amazing, Cam, Jaime and Tyler are always there to help. Top notch doesn't do it justice. I only wish I found them sooner.
