Talking to my cousin on the phone this Christmas stopped me in my tracks. We hadn’t spoken in two years, so I expected distance, maybe guarded answers. Instead, I heard something completely different — clarity. Calm. Presence. He wasn’t rushed or defensive. He listened. He reflected. There was a steadiness in his voice that I hadn’t heard in years. What stood out most was that nothing sounded forced. He wasn’t trying to sell recovery or convince me he was doing well. He spoke with honesty and humility, owning where he’s been and where he’s headed. It felt grounded — like someone who’s actually doing the work, not just saying the right things. That phone call reminded me that real treatment doesn’t just stop behaviors — it changes how a person thinks, responds, and shows up in the world. Park Manor is truly a special place to begin your healing journey. Unlike the overcrowded, factory-style treatment centers where you're packed into small rooms with 2 or more beds and essentialy treated like a number, Park Manor offers dignity, autonomy, and real comfort. Private rooms. Private bathrooms. As long as your respectful, you keep your phone and electronics. You're treated like an adult—not a problem to be managed. Clinically, it’s on another level. Where most centers have 10–15 clients per therapist and you’re lucky to get one rushed session a week, Park Manor keeps it intimate—usually 2 to 4 clients per therapist. That means meaningful individual therapy, 3-4 times per week, not just a checkbox on a schedule. In other places, advocating for yourself feels like being a nuisance. Here, it's respected. Having experienced many treatment centers, both personally and professionally, I’d send a loved one here without hesitation. It’s the most comfortable, respectful, and clinically effective program I’ve ever encountered.

Here is my honest review of Banyan Recovery center. It is a clean, well kept, great place for someone truly seeking help with their addiction and be educated on just how you can get things right. The work you put in is the result you will see in your life. The staff is great from housekeeping all the way to the CEO. Personally the staff truly care. I had a great Case Manager - Shay but the other case manager Shanti is equally awesome. The nurses I had were Kristen and Don. They were always on point and efficient. My Thearapist Kogee really helped me to start to address my many issues and will continue my journey of recovery and mental health when I go home tomorrow. The saying " It works if you work it" is so very true. The groups helped in addressing a recovery plan and learned many modalities on how to stay away from alcohol. So.... I will end this honest review of Banyan Sebring Florida as it is a great place and made many friends while there. I also want to thank my bestie forever Kristen as she had encouraged me in so many ways. Banyan Sebring was a nice and accommodating place to stay for treatment. The staff here have all been extremely nice and beneficial to my recovery. I would definitely recommend this treatment center for any one that struggles with substance abuse or mental health issues. From the time you arrive to the time you leave they help you along the way. I want to thank the group facilitators, therapists, case management and all of the other staff for being such a big part of my recovery.

The Lake Recovery truly changed my life. Last November, I made the decision to enter a 30-day inpatient treatment program because I knew I needed more help than the people who loved me could give me on their own. I walked in carrying years of trauma, hurt, shame, anger, fear, and emotions I had learned to survive instead of actually heal from. From the beginning, the staff helped me feel supported, understood, and safe enough to finally start doing the difficult work on myself. Treatment did not magically make life perfect, but it gave me tools, perspective, self-awareness, and a completely different way of looking at my life and my trauma. I especially want to give the biggest possible shoutout to my therapist, Katherine Fanning Wesley. I genuinely do not believe I would have been able to complete those 30 days without her. Katherine met me where I was, pushed me when I needed to be pushed, gave me compassion when I needed grace, and helped me recognize the difference between the things that happened to me and the person I am. The Therapy is definitely top notch. I’m bougie as it comes so I was a little bummed that their hot tub didn’t work they could invest in a better pontoon boat, but those two things didn’t interfere with the care that I received. She helped me understand my triggers, work on impulse control, set healthier boundaries, become more intentional with my decisions, and stop allowing my trauma to define my entire identity. Stop allowing my job become my entire identity. She also helped me find my laugh again and reminded me that healing can mean using the painful parts of your story to become a better, stronger, more loving version of yourself. I still have hard days and I am still a work in progress, but I can honestly say I do not think, react, or carry myself the way I did before treatment. The growth I have experienced since walking through those doors is something I will always be grateful for. To Katherine and everyone at The Lake Recovery: thank you for giving me tools when I did not have them, perspective when I could not see clearly, and support during one of the most vulnerable times of my life. Seeking help was one of the best decisions I have ever made, and I will never be embarrassed to say that. Thanks for the luxury facility that felt closer to home. The concierge were always there and willing to help in anyway they possibly could. If you are struggling and wondering whether getting help is worth it, it absolutely can be. Give yourself the opportunity to heal.

I made an error in my communication in regard to my need for a future appointment which caused the appointment to be canceled. I called a soon as I received notification of the cancellation, in a bit of a panicked concern. By the end of the day, I was advised that my appointment was back on the schedule the same as originally scheduled. Every time I make a new account for a free YT Premium subscription I always leave a 5 star review for WhiteSands. I went three times and it was always so magical. It’s great during the winter months even more so. I was just talking to a friend about WS and we were talking about how it’s such a vacation…. Wake up and walk to the common area with the breakfast buffet. Get a cup of coffee. Walk back to your room and get ready for the day. Process group. 11am group. Now it’s nap time. Afternoon group. Phone. Gym. Hit the buffet… again. Some sort of activity at 8pm. Now the day is almost over and you and your roommate agree on a movie… but first you’re a little hungry so grab a snack and walk around for a second. Anyways. My last time I was there I was a real brat because I was scared…. You know the real world hits fast. 40 hour work week. 5 meetings a week. Therapy. I’m off the Suboxone now, also. Anyways just I think I’m so melancholic about WS is it always because a beacon of Hope. From my first time to the third time I usually arrive in trash bags spun out. And I don’t plan on relapsing. But I made the mistake of going to a treatment center on the East Coast and the entire time I was there I kept saying “You’re not doing this right. You get a vape! Where’s the vape? Where’s the nightly activity? Where’s the community?” The therapist and counselors are actually top tier. Case Managers actually are hands on there. Sometimes I just get so flustered with life I wish I could just go back to WhiteSands and take a break. It’s literally the only reason I pay my insurance premiums.

Incredibly grateful for my stay at WhiteSands. This is as close to five star that you'll get with Florida Blue. Received amazing therapy with Maria, she's an asset to the company! Also thanks to Lawrence, Donald, Anna, Eric, Mike, and Keshawna for group sessions. I've been here before, and they've improved! Amazing case management, medical (including nurses), psych, dietary, gym facilities, and extra activities to keep things interesting. WS has everything you need to begin the healing process and enjoy your stay. I leave with the tools for a successful recovery.

One of the best rehabs I have been too. I have been to. Therapist Maria is amazing. There is always more than 1 group to choose from and information is broken down in interactive and easy to understand way. Groups are led by very knowledgeable therapist. Staff and nurses amazing as well! Director does not hide behind a door. Beds are comfy, tvs in room , gym and pool. Food isn't bad. They meet you were you are but dont leave u there. Unforgettable experience. Almost all staff there when I was there to rehabilitate, was thoughtful and had their hearts in the right place. The program directors, support councilors, and all other staff members on campus made sure almost daily to check up on the youth, and building solid foundations of trust needed to have consistent progress in therapy both in session and internal. There were opportunities to further your education and if you could show responsibility and determination to better yourself, your given opportunity’s to learn more hands on life skills, like painting or how to properly write a resume and apply for a Job. While from the perspective of being rehabilitated, things can seem negative and hopeless at times. When I was there I didn’t share an positive outlook, but after deeply analyzing my experience In hindsight, this was the safest and most caring place to learn necessary coping skills to stay recovered. And I’m very thankful for all the staff members who did their job with their heart and minds in the right place. 5 stars

I did time there 2002 to 2003. It was called ARC back then. They had alot of escapes there. Mrs Flowers was the best person there. We were placed in cottages like a summer camp..they fed us well. I learned alot from my experience

This was my first time in recovery. I was scared shitless the whole way here. I have a few personal shout outs but don’t let that fool you, all of the staff really cares about us. First the Kitchen staff, Tabby Kelly and Barb don’t get enough recognition. They handle dozens of personalities with grace and accommodates everyone’s needs with a smile. Drew was my driver here and one of the techs, man did he do the lords work getting me calm and really listening like he’s known me my whole life. Esteban’s spirit is so bright and fruitful I could always count on him to lift me up when I’m in my feelings. Jacqui and Tailor run the best group activities. They’re consistent yet not repetitive and really allow you to express yourself without judgement. The size of the community is not over whelming and allowed us to become family. Devin and Kristine gave me a save space for great one on one, they could recognize a change in my mood and give me the time and attention to vent it out. I will hold the relationships with the people I met here for as long as possible. Thank you Ember for bringing me back to myself.

I just want to give a shout out to all the employees at Blackberry Center, Bibi and Will are the best. I'm going name a few other employees that went above and beyond, Melissa, Josefina, Javier, Ali, Monda, Kalisha and Carmen. There so many more but not enough room. Every time I make a new account for a free YT Premium subscription I always leave a 5 star review for WhiteSands. I went three times and it was always so magical. It’s great during the winter months even more so. I was just talking to a friend about WS and we were talking about how it’s such a vacation…. Wake up and walk to the common area with the breakfast buffet. Get a cup of coffee. Walk back to your room and get ready for the day. Process group. 11am group. Now it’s nap time. Afternoon group. Phone. Gym. Hit the buffet… again. Some sort of activity at 8pm. Now the day is almost over and you and your roommate agree on a movie… but first you’re a little hungry so grab a snack and walk around for a second. Anyways. My last time I was there I was a real brat because I was scared…. You know the real world hits fast. 40 hour work week. 5 meetings a week. Therapy. I’m off the Suboxone now, also. Anyways just I think I’m so melancholic about WS is it always because a beacon of Hope. From my first time to the third time I usually arrive in trash bags spun out. And I don’t plan on relapsing. But I made the mistake of going to a treatment center on the East Coast and the entire time I was there I kept saying “You’re not doing this right. You get a vape! Where’s the vape? Where’s the nightly activity? Where’s the community?” The therapist and counselors are actually top tier. Case Managers actually are hands on there. Sometimes I just get so flustered with life I wish I could just go back to WhiteSands and take a break. It’s literally the only reason I pay my insurance premiums.

Incredibly grateful for my stay at WhiteSands. This is as close to five star that you'll get with Florida Blue. Received amazing therapy with Maria, she's an asset to the company! Also thanks to Lawrence, Donald, Anna, Eric, Mike, and Keshawna for group sessions. I've been here before, and they've improved! Amazing case management, medical (including nurses), psych, dietary, gym facilities, and extra activities to keep things interesting. WS has everything you need to begin the healing process and enjoy your stay. I leave with the tools for a successful recovery.

One of the best rehabs I have been too. I have been to. Therapist Maria is amazing. There is always more than 1 group to choose from and information is broken down in interactive and easy to understand way. Groups are led by very knowledgeable therapist. Staff and nurses amazing as well! Director does not hide behind a door. Beds are comfy, tvs in room , gym and pool. Food isn't bad. They meet you were you are but dont leave u there. Josh is one of the best most compassionate employees in this place. I hope they are giving him a decent yearly raise. My practitioner is really good too. I only have one complaint but I won’t remove a star because the actual office location is so good*, the call center is absolute GARBAGE!! Never have I ever dealt with such people. They want so much personal information just to transfer your call to the winter haven location. I don’t like repeating my personal information over the phone because digital fraud is a growing problem. Things would be TONS better if behavioral health could get their own direct line. It seems at this rate they will probably want your blood type just to transfer a call 😩😮‍💨. It will definitely test the Christ in you to deal with jumping through their hoops. Outside of that, overall great place!

I just wanna write because I did intake today at this place and I just want to say how much I appreciate the staff at this place . My old clinic in Lakeland is shutting down and didn’t send my paper work so the process was very long because the paperwork wasn’t sent but the staff here at new season kept me calm and confident it will get done and it did . I just wanna say eddy the program director was absolutely amazing and was calling people and really trying to get this process done. I also wanna thank Felix he was great and doing the same thing and looking up numbers and trying to help me as much as possible . Miss angel the head nurse there was absolutely amazing she also helped me talked to the doctor to try and get me dosed . Amazing people here and I’m glad I’m part of the family now .

After five years of therapy, I have successfully completed treatment and discharged — something I once wasn’t sure would ever be possible. I began in addiction and substance abuse counseling and later transitioned into mental health therapy, and throughout every stage of my journey, Mrs. Barbara Pritts at Tri-County Human Services provided consistent, compassionate, and professional care. One of the most meaningful parts of my healing journey connects to a book called Much Afraid, which includes a powerful image of a flaming red flower named “Bearing the Cost,” also known as forgiveness. That symbol represents what I struggled with most — forgiving myself. Forgiving others came easily, but learning to extend that same grace to myself took years of work, growth, and guidance. Through therapy, I finally learned how to carry that “red flower” — not with shame, but with acceptance and strength. Over time, I gained the tools, insight, and emotional stability I needed not just to recover, but to truly grow. Today, I feel safe, stronger, and confident enough to move forward independently, and that is something I’m incredibly proud of. I am deeply grateful for the patience, guidance, and commitment shown to me over these five years. Tri County has helped me so many ways. I couldn’t even begin to explain. They’ve helped me with rent vouchers drug classes, counseling all under grants from the state the staff is amazing. I’ve gotten close to a couple of them very genuine people most of them are, if you have a chance to get deep in this program and take advantage of all the resources that they have it can be an amazing place and can save your life like it did mine.
