I am forever grateful to this place. The staff is incredible, they truly care and put their heart and soul in everything they do. Donald was my therapist, Brandy was my case manager; they were both wonderful. The other therapists and case managers that weren’t even mine were a vital part in my recovery. I suggest utilizing all the staff you can, including the BHT’s. They want to help, and they definitely did. The reviews talking about “only an hour a day in the pool,” or the “gym isn’t good enough,” if that’s what you’re taking away with you in your recovery, then good luck. We had groups every day of the week, which is a necessary part in our recovery. They had activities for us every night, so we could build connections while having fun. The pool and the gym were extra gifts when we had the opportunity to use them. I would have loved it without. If you’re considering taking the steps to recovery, 100% recommend.

This place helped me the 5 months I was there. Of course could use some lessons on withdrawling because I was in detox when I arrived but it had been over a week so they wouldn't start dosing me. I went through the 5 months here and made alot of great friends!! We r friends till this day!!! They have some really caring staff here!!! I came here last month because I was having really bad mental health issues that needed to be addressed. I was really nervous and scared to go in for help but the two intake nurses (one was name Kristina I believe) she cared for me and talked to me while I waited for a bed. Going into the unit I was greeted by Jason and he was the ONLY one to call me by the name i wanted, not my full name. Some of the Techs are very nice and some are a bit to much to handle. Dr Brach was great. She listened to me and was willing to hear my story and my trauma. It does get a bit boring in the unit, there was only one group therapy session a day and we get to either go to the gym or outside. You get access to the wireless phones from 9am-10pm but phones get taken during group time. Food wasn’t that bad. Beds were old and mine wasn’t very comfortable but Jason was able to get me an extra blanket to help me even out my bed. Overall I was happy with this place and I HIGHLY recommend if you need help, go here!

I went to this program a few years ago and it was the best thing that ever happened to me, I learned structure which I needed bàdly. How to make and keep friends, basic life skills, money mangement and and how to live life on life's terms. Career skills, sober living, skills needed to do it yourself, how to take care of your health. It was an amazing experience and it wasn't all fun but it was all worth it in the end.

Almost all staff there when I was there to rehabilitate, was thoughtful and had their hearts in the right place.
The program directors, support councilors, and all other staff members on campus made sure almost daily to check up on the youth, and building solid foundations of trust needed to have consistent progress in therapy both in session and internal.
There were opportunities to further your education and if you could show responsibility and determination to better yourself, your given opportunity’s to learn more hands on life skills, like painting or how to properly write a resume and apply for a Job.
While from the perspective of being rehabilitated, things can seem negative and hopeless at times. When I was there I didn’t share an positive outlook, but after deeply analyzing my experience In hindsight, this was the safest and most caring place to learn necessary coping skills to stay recovered.
And I’m very thankful for all the staff members who did their job with their heart and minds in the right place. 5 stars

I live in another state now. I came into this place homeless after having been on a 1 year drinking binge, facing 70 years in two states. Initially, I was only here to "hide-out", and then I began seeing all these people come through who had the hope of sobriety. After staying here for one month, I was sober, had hope and turned myself in, that was the start of my current 9 years of sobriety. This is not a facility that is here to make money, it is hardcore and no frills, but looking back it was the best rehab I ever went to, all these places with millions of dollar budgets should take lessons from Turning Point, I will never forget it.

This is a “no-frills”, last stop for someone who is desperate to make it to tomorrow. If you want sobriety, are out of options and are willing to go to any lengths to get it, Turning Point might work for you. Par was a great place overall but when your six months are up you are scrambling to find somewhere to go. They DO NOT help in that area. To be completely honest it was the best rehab I've been to. It's the only one that I've stayed out of trouble since leaving.

And immidiatly transferred go springhill once they Openèd . Did seriously saved my life . 20years i was taken 6 roxys at a time twice daily. CRC was life-changing and lifesaving for me, I was a patient there in 2007 and I've been clean and sober for 17 yrs, I was given a chance to learn about myself, my life, my addiction, my behavior and my recovery, and so much more, I'm grateful and thankful for Crc and I will never forget this place,

All I have to say is that I decided to go into this rehab on my own. Nobody push me to go. I decided to turn myself in willingly and at no point in time was I ever treated disrespectfully or was I scared in anyway I felt totally comfortable and teachers are awesome. The curriculum was amazing and the overall experience was so good that I almost thought about relaxing is this day that’s how good it was and I highly suggest that anybody that wants to say their life do not think twice about it and just go and do it because it will be the best decision you ever made and it will save your life and it’s like no other program there is out there. I wish there was more programs out there like CRC And I can’t say enough good things about it. I wish they would take me back now but I don’t think they will because I’m clean so but don’t ever feel that it’s like any other place because it’s definitely not. It’s there should be definitely more than one of these facilities in the Pasco County area .

This facility is VERY helpful and sympathetic with low income patients who need a lot of understanding, flexibility and accommodations for scheduling and mental health assistance.
The Suncoast Center's office may not be fancy but it is VERY accommodating when a mental health patient forgets their appointment. You can show up and the staff will work to have someone see you that same day.
If you need a different medication dose or if your prescription has run out, the staff at the facility will work with you so you can get your medication.
Suncoast Center also provides financial assistance programs to low income patients. If you have low income, but don't have any health insurance, Suncoast Center can sign you up for low cost fees (around $10 payments for service appointments).
Suncoast Center also offers free medicine via pharmaceutical company programs for low income patients. For example, certain effective, long acting, anti-psychotic injections are very expensive ($600 to $800 per injection) but if you qualify as low income and fill out the pharmaceutical program paperwork, you can get the effective medication for free.
Suncoast Center provides a lot of helpful information to patients such as, law firms that help patients to get SSI Disability payments and paperwork assistance for patients with severe mental health issues to be removed from jury duty lists.

I have been coming to this center for a while, although there have been some issues with a couple of staff, the good experiences have outweighed the unpleasant ones. The accommodations I've received to feel safe and comfortable are not unnoticed.
Life is too short to be upset at something we can't control and the employees here most of time have no control of the days events. Patience, compassion and kindness go a long way.

Idk how I found Spenser recovery I swear they found me in a time that seemed my darkest times I’m a combat vet and this place was the beginning of that desire to not drink
The staff were all professional and caring and helped me to get to the next stage of my recovery to me there in not one staff member that stood out they all worked with me to achieve this goal they were a team and each with there own people on their case load were more than numbers I was more than a number thank you to all the staff that helped me get to where I needed to be next stop long term again to all the staff thank you for your patience and understanding each group was a leaning experience I can take with me on my new journey god bless you all 🤗

This place literally saved my life. I’ve been to multiple treatment centers and this one is by far the best one I’ve ever been to. I got and stayed sober here and I will forever be grateful for Spenser’s recovery centers. The staff and nurses are absolutely amazing and made my time there feel like I was at home as much as I could possibly feel like that. They treat you like a person and not like another person that comes and goes. It’s an amazing place to get sober and if you truly want to get and stay sober I highly recommend Spencer’s recovery centers.

Our daughter was going through a tough time in her life. She was in need of help. The facility was able to stabilize her, and worked very hard to find her a place that could help her further. My son had been at this facility from November to December 2024. The entire staff was wonderful and really helped him transition to the next facility as part of his therapy journey. This is why I went to them again. Michael and Michelle the intake nurses were the same staff members who had helped my son and still remembered him and that was a big help. It was a scary experience for me but thanks so much to the staff, especially Jamie the risk manager, who went out of their way to help me and achieve the necessary solution to my issues. Everyone is nice, compassionate and understanding. I definitely recommend this facility if it applies to your mental heath journey.
