Good care but hard to get in for an appointment

June 2023, I attended Transformations and had a wonderful and very healing experience. I recently have celebrated 600 days sober from alcohol, which is what I went into rehab for. The staff was knowledgeable, respectful, and supportive. The living accommodations were top notch! It was a true home away from home feeling. I would not be where I am today without Transformations!

Transformations gave me a safe place to heal with dignity and respect. The staff and counselors listen to clients and make sure clients know their needs matter. My life is better having gone to Transformations.

Tools for Sobriety are taught and expected to be used. This Program taught me accountability and self reliance in my Sobriety. Those that seek sobriety with Selflessness here will achieve a Level of Success that they may have never dreamed of. At least I have! As a former Garbage Head I knew the Staff from Ms.T all the way through to Halle and Phil to Scott and Randi but also Jon and his Family. They have their own stories and experiences having successful for and in sobriety. But most importantly on how to pick yourself up from falling away. Thank You Everyone for Delivering the tools I forgot I had and giving me the nudge to Self Confidence in Self Reliance. Learned how to care to pick them upTruly Grateful for experiencing this program and the Love and Considerations shown for everyone's Sobriety here. It only works if you work it!

I highly recommend Footprints. It's a great program. The staff is amazing and really care about your recovery.

I have been coming to Bay Pines VA Medical Center since 2004. Although no hospital is perfect, it has been one of the best VA Hospitals I have been, and even better than some of the civilian hospitals in the area. I feel bad for my fellow veterans who have had a bad experiences; however, mine has been great.

This is the best Healthcare I have ever received, civilian, military or other VA in other cities. Every department has been great. They seem to genuinely care. Ample parking in this compound of a medical center with very nice facilities.

Everyone on all shifts all departments are so caring tender compassionate and emphatic about you as a patient.Thank you this is my first experience at the VA hospital Dr Kim in ER really went above and beyond for me I was in a really bad place physically and emotionally.Thank you all

For veterans.

Contrary to many of my fellow vets I find the Sarasota clinic to be outstanding and attentive to my needs. I think many of the veterans blame the clinic staff for VA regional office and VA procedure related issues. Dr Annamandala is my primary care doctor and I am thoroughly satisfied.

The sarasota clinic is well organized..services are provided with minimal waiting periods, the staff is courteous and caring.

I arrived the Friday before Milton hurricane hit, they provided everything I needed to survive that, treatment was excellent, love care and know how was incredible, the staff really cares, they go above and beyond! If you have a substance abuse, mental health problem that is causing your life to be unmanageable or go down the toilet, this place is for you! Housing was clean, perfect location for meetings, they attack all issues together and set you up for success as long as you're willing to participate and change your life for the better! I just moved to a sober house, have been employed for over a month, and am doing amazing!

There s soo many things I could list:-Nyah Going above and beyond to get my FMLA and short term disability approved. Making sure our every need was met throughout two hurricanes. Your heart and love for the clients shines through your actions.-Bella Thank you for allowing me the space and time to process my grief at my pace. For loaning me your personal book which gave me soo much insight into how I m feeling and that it s okay and there s no timeframe for grief. You are a great listener and an amazing therapist. I ll miss your groups, they were really fun or really deep.-Lauren PHONES & VAPES (My favorite song lol). You run a tight group and keep people on track but also allow them the freedom to process. I appreciated your all your feedback.-Kristin Your groups, for me, were very informative. You taught great content and although I only got you once or twice a week for an hour, I enjoyed the content.-Jenn whatever you pay this woman, it s not enough. She handles all of housing, the techs, scheduling, grocery store runs, maintenance issues, housing meetings, and still has time to do case manager work like making sure every client gets food stamps, a phone for the ones who can t afford one, bus passes and I think I m just scratching the surface. She will do anything for anyone outside the scope of her job description. I admire the hell out of your work ethic, attitude, recovery program and you as an individual.-Rich Sarah and all his different helpers in the morning . Thank you all for being efficient, having a smile and a good morning ready for us when we walk in.Before my last period of sobriety I had the unfortunate experience of going to rehab 31 times. No rehab is perfect and some are just downright terrible. Taking any partiality out of it and grading you on the merits of level of care; compassion; clinically; how you all communicated to resolve client complaints/issues; and how you adapted to adversity and kept the clients first regardless of cost or being overworked, you gals and guy are 2nd to NONE. I truly appreciated the collaborative efforts from the bottom to the top.Thank you all again!Jay Vanderbilt

After finishing detox at the White Sands Plant City location, I came here for intensive outpatient. Amazing staff and met life long friends in the groups here. Best decision I ve ever made, it saved my life. Justin K.

White Sands beat all expectations we had. They truly helped my friend address the origin of her issues and turn her lief around. The care and dedication they showed is what we appreciated the most. Though it was a touch situation to be in, they made the experience pleasurable. Thank you!

Had Matthew in the store u brake I fix Sarasota helped me out tremendously all my phone did was pop up rectangles and circles and other media stuff from settings I couldn t get thur my password it was so aggravating but not for Matthew he fixed it in 3 minutes flat thank you Heidi

I've been helped by Ms. V.J. at the Sarasota Centerstone office for over a year now via hour-long Zoom sessions every two weeks. After significant and much welcome progress, we are now switching to once per month, with availability on an as-needed basis.I cannot overstate the benefit derived from these sessions. Ms. V.J. has ben an essential part of my journey in turning myself around for the better. Her shared experience, friendly guidance and encouragement have been the key factors in all progress I've made to date. And even with her recently going through a major, cross-country relocation requiring two moves, she still maintained her commitment to serve my needs as a patient.And a special shout-out to Ms. M.C. in billing who has been a great help to me in dealing with insurance issues on more than one occasion.

I have nothing but good things to say about this place (except for the hold times but they are busy). They are understanding and have always been really nice.
