Went into the program after the COVID era. Did NOT want to go at first, or be sober, but it was either this or Jail. Went into the program, was almost dismissed a few times cause of my childish actions, and somewhere along the lines i started to actually "work" the program. I found JOY, HAPPINESS, and CHARACTER. Became a man i was okay looking myself in the mirror, and someone who loves the Lord and all he is doing in this world. Ended up staying past the program for a few years to continue growing myself before leaving before becoming staff. Still engaged with the ministry and love going out to visit. This place is Special !! Its not an easy program, it may feel weird or foreign at first, but i know this: If you want a real shot at a different life, this is the place to do it. I didn't even want to be sober going into this place, and now life looks completely different. I am a man of faith now, and will forever be grateful for Dunklin, the staff, and the many chances they gave me to get it right. If you want it bad enough, this place will give you the opportunity to change it around.

I don't think a day goes by that I don't thank dunklin and God for saving my son's life. Every time I got a phone call in the middle of the night I thought it was the police calling to tell me my son has died from an overdose. Through the mercy and the grace of God, Dunklin was put into my son's life and an entire family was forever changed. Thank you god and thank you dunklin for saving Bobby Ricchiuti. My psychiatrist is wonderful! She really makes me feel at ease and helps me understand everything with medications and my diagnosis. The whole outpatient team is always welcoming when I come in, and unlike other reviews I have never felt judged here.

The Lake Recovery truly changed my life.
Last November, I made the decision to enter a 30-day inpatient treatment program because I knew I needed more help than the people who loved me could give me on their own. I walked in carrying years of trauma, hurt, shame, anger, fear, and emotions I had learned to survive instead of actually heal from.
From the beginning, the staff helped me feel supported, understood, and safe enough to finally start doing the difficult work on myself. Treatment did not magically make life perfect, but it gave me tools, perspective, self-awareness, and a completely different way of looking at my life and my trauma.
I especially want to give the biggest possible shoutout to my therapist, Katherine Fanning Wesley. I genuinely do not believe I would have been able to complete those 30 days without her. Katherine met me where I was, pushed me when I needed to be pushed, gave me compassion when I needed grace, and helped me recognize the difference between the things that happened to me and the person I am. The Therapy is definitely top notch. I’m bougie as it comes so I was a little bummed that their hot tub didn’t work they could invest in a better pontoon boat, but those two things didn’t interfere with the care that I received.
She helped me understand my triggers, work on impulse control, set healthier boundaries, become more intentional with my decisions, and stop allowing my trauma to define my entire identity. Stop allowing my job become my entire identity. She also helped me find my laugh again and reminded me that healing can mean using the painful parts of your story to become a better, stronger, more loving version of yourself.
I still have hard days and I am still a work in progress, but I can honestly say I do not think, react, or carry myself the way I did before treatment. The growth I have experienced since walking through those doors is something I will always be grateful for.
To Katherine and everyone at The Lake Recovery: thank you for giving me tools when I did not have them, perspective when I could not see clearly, and support during one of the most vulnerable times of my life. Seeking help was one of the best decisions I have ever made, and I will never be embarrassed to say that. Thanks for the luxury facility that felt closer to home. The concierge were always there and willing to help in anyway they possibly could.
If you are struggling and wondering whether getting help is worth it, it absolutely can be. Give yourself the opportunity to heal.

I am completely impressed. Coastal Detox and residential is absolutely gorgeous, well maintained, clean, and on the ball. The staff is 24/7, from nurses to Techs, doctors, therapists and counselors. Three chefs that are over the top with beautifully prepared meals, even made to order if I did not like what was on the menu.
Judy was available every single day, and evenings as well. I saw an influx of anywhere from 29 to 45 patients handled professionally and seamlessly.
Shout out to Karen for helping me through my first week. Her kind words and support motivated me to stay and get the help I needed. All the Techs are kind, funny, patient and I felt safe the entirety of my 40 day stay.
Doctor Amanda is brilliant. The only doctor I ever trusted. Thank you so much Amanda for helping me with my anxiety.
Shout out to Claire and Catherine, my therapists. I saw them every single day. Intelligent, compassionate, beautiful women genuinely interested in listening and getting my needs met.
10 stars to the nursing staff! I have never witnessed a team of better educated, concientios and patient women and men, doing a 100% job, all day, all night, every single day. Wow.
I could go on, because everyone and everything at Coastal Detox was above par and they saved my life. I cried when I left, and I hope to see you guys in my new, healthy, sober community soon!

I used to go here, Mrs. Arlene is THE BEST therapist there (my opinion). She tells you what you need to here, but in a kind, "I-got-you-girl" kinda way! Ambrosia in Port St. Lucie is an incredible facility with outstanding professionals. Nadine was my therapist and she was an absolute 10/10 clinician—incredibly supportive, skilled, and impactful. Additionally, James, who ran the family groups, was phenomenal in his approach. Even though my own family wasn't present, the environment he created allowed us to support one another seamlessly—such as reading letters out loud to stand-in family members in the audience. It created a deeply powerful space for healing grief. Now, eight years sober, I highly respect their professionalism and would recommend their program to anyone looking for true support.

The admissions team is professional, knowledgeable, and empathetic (Specifically Alan) which reassured me that I came to the right place. The admissions process was seamless! I’m beyond grateful for the care and support my sister received here. The therapists and counselors are incredibly knowledgeable and approachable, always going above and beyond to help work through challenges at your own pace. Great place, great atmosphere for recovery you have to put in the work nothing comes easy but you have to go ready and willing to do the work.great clinical team, housing team, techs, physician, and therapist team. They really take the time to get to know you and show their genuine care for their clients but they can only do so much you have to want it. I would definitely recommend this place.

I have a love and hate relationship with this place in my opinion.
Pros
Clinical staff once you meet them will be able to help accommodate your needs.
Once you move to residential the rooms are a lot less isolating.
Levels to move into to show your progress. Meaning you can gain different privileges when moving into different levels.
Groups all day everyday which is great

Allow vapes and cigs in designated areas
Bible study at 7:30am if you choose but not required. I unfortunately am a late sleeper
Amazing physicians who are addiction specialist.
House keeping was amazing and so kind
Also the kitchen staff def kept the snacks stacked and amazing meals. Always fresh and made for each meal right before .
Cons:
Current Director of operations very rude and condescending. I’ve worked in various treatment centers and would never treat anyone the way I’ve seen her treat others. I’m only stating this so others won’t have to experience her bitterness and burnout.
Vapes have to be charged in tech office. They will not let you keep your charger. They lost one of my vapes and would not compensate for their error and director of operations stated “it’s your property” and “I” have to take care of it when I trusted them to charge it. And while under their care they lost it.
They state they will look at the cameras but never do and if they do never tell you anything.
Some nurses will refuse to give you your PRN even though your VS are WNL and not follow physician orders and practice medicine under their own judgement. ( this is only some; not all. most of their badges are turned around)
On my first day I woke up late for my medicine and they refused to give my meds all together. It was a very uncomfortable night.
Anyways I stayed in total 21 days most of my experiences were good besides a few encounters that baffled me. Maybe they were having a bad day but everyday is too many days. I want to mostly thank the clinical team and my case manager that made me feel like they cared about my needs and accommodated me due to my situation the best they could. For them I’m eternally grateful for and have so much respect for. Even though their are minor complaints I put 5 stars cause over all I’m sober and healthy and that is a blessing.

Words cannot adequately express what an amazing support Jordan has been to the addict in particular and to our family members in general. She consistently keeps in touch with us, evincing an authentic caring spirit, whether the addict is in patient or has been out for a while. I am very happy and satisfied that I choose Dignity Healing for treatment. The close net facility was exactly what I needed and I have a much clearer head now.
The Techs were very helpful and approachable, pushups go out to Susie, RENNECC, Dria, SHANIQUAL, and Maria. Gator can't forget about you.
The Nutritionists that came in to give classes was very helpful and knowledgeable on many health subjects. Already bought my Omega-3.

That has been my experience here at Dynamic Life Recovery. I am a 54 yr old male who has struggled with addictions, poor life choices, and self esteem issues. A struggle I believe most human beings face at one time or another. The Bible says in Proverbs 24:16

The staff great the food was great the only issue when the people over the phone tell you this place is on the ⛱️ Beach it's a lie. That's their other location. If they say nature walk that's a lie well not really get ready for the influx of baby Godzilla in your room. If they say a pool is an inflatable pool. Just know they lie about the amenities. Other than that this staff is nice good was great. It looks like the Bates motel.

I made an error in my communication in regard to my need for a future appointment which caused the appointment to be canceled. I called a soon as I received notification of the cancellation, in a bit of a panicked concern. By the end of the day, I was advised that my appointment was back on the schedule the same as originally scheduled.
That indicated to me that the team collaborated to prioritize my needs and provide a perfect solution despite the error having been my own.
