Making the decision to go to Beachway was, by far, the most positive and impactful experience of my life. The entire staff was incredible, as was the community as a whole. I felt safe, seen, and supported throughout my stay, and even now, as I continue my healing journey at home. I was completely set up for success in my healing journey thanks to Beachway, and I will forever be grateful.

My experience at Beachway was a 100/10. The life skills I learned are priceless and that’s putting it lightly. Beachway was the third treatment center I had been to, following the sudden loss of a loved one. I had prior sobriety before beachway and was convinced that I was only there because of a death, and that that was why I was spiraling. The staff at Beachway saw I needed much more help than that. They all knew before I did that if that death didn’t happen, I probably wouldn’t have stayed sober anyway. There was still much more therapy to be done, and more to learn. The staff took a genuine care in doing so, and looking back at their clinical process they are nothing short of a power house of a team. I never felt so cared for as a human being by people that just met me. The staff quickly became my family, cheering me on while also taking it extremely serious. They are unapologetically honest, which in my experience is the #1 thing needed in recovery. Many of the things they said to me during my time there still stick with me (a year later) and help me navigate life! I tell anyone that has a loved one with Substance abuse or mental health issues about beachway. There is no other place like it🤍

I owe Beachway my life for sure. I won’t lie and say that I loved every minute of it because I didn’t. A lot of it was very painful, because confronting inner demons is painful. It was a lot of group therapy (especially given how afraid of people I was going in), but they truly helped me gain sobriety and face down my trauma. And they put up with a lot of my crazy behavior while I was going through withdrawals in detox. Like any rehab, you’ll get out of it what you put into it. Surrender to the process for best results. Rehab isn’t a magic wand that makes problems vanish. Rehab gave me the opportunity to accept the ways in which I cause my own suffering instead of blaming everyone around me, while surrounded by professionals who prevented me from hurting myself while my dried out, and helped me identify the underlying causes of my addiction. It will be tough. It will be scary. It will be worth it. I wish I’d gone sooner. The staff there are wonderful and don’t get enough credit. Thank you Beachway.

Been to this facility multiple times now. They have always been very accommodating and have continuously helped me through my mental health and substance issues. I highly recommend this place for stabilization and learning a lot about therapies.

Coastal Detox is a good place to work the staff is amazing willing to guide you every step of the way if needed regarding work or even clients assist.The atmosphere feels more Christian base setting which means I really like how godly and positive affirmations are posted given clients hope and a positive mind set knowing they are in a safe place and getting proper treatment with people who cares to get them through recovery. 🙂

After 20 years of my sons battle with addiction and mental health issues which included multiple rehabs and therapists this is by far the best place he has ever been. I finally have hope for him because they are listening and watching him to determine why he keeps failing at sobriety. The staff are kind and caring and the facility is very clean and a pleasant place to be while recovering . They are accommodating to the family also as they truly understand addiction is a family problem. The people who run the facility know what the clients need to get started on a successful happy life of sobriety and are sincere about helping them if they are ready to help themselves .

I had a great experience at Amethyst. I would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and productive rehab experience. The environment is very positive and restful. As a patient your only responsibility is to stay in the building; they take care of everything else and make detox as painless as possible. The staff are so kind and respectful and the food and accommodations are excellent— even down to the mattresses! 1000/10 highly recommend

Amazing place with great people

This is the only place I know of that will truly help you if you are in crisis with addiction. Brad, Joey, Thomas, and Jenelle are the best care team I have ever met. I love you all!!!!!!

I just left allure and it checking myself in and staying there to complete the residential after detoxing was the best decision I’ve made in decades. The clinical director Brad and the operations director Joey have an amazing staff around them. Most are in recovery and they UNDERSTOOD me. Going to treatment can be nerve wracking and their team made sure I was comfortable and welcomed. I spent over 3 weeks there and not once did I feel out of place or unsafe. They helped me work through all of the problems i had in my life when I admitted myself in the wake of my active addiction and I left with a purpose and the guidance and aftercare I needed to remain sober in the future. There’s no magic pill or wand to cure sobriety but they genuinely care and motivate you to put in the work and learn the tools to stay clean. If you’re tired of the consequences and pain/suffering from active addiction then find a way to get into allure right now. They’ll save your life and help you build a new one. - Derek P.S. The therapist are very professional especially carrie. Larry in discharge is super helpful and gets the aid you need while in therapy. Without him I would not of found housing. Highly recommend foundations wellness center

Foundations wellness Center is an amazing place to recover. My therapist was Carrie and she has a spot in my heart forever. She taught me how to find good things about myself even when I couldn't you would not be wasting your time going to foundations wellness Center

Honestly I have received good psych care from here but I still think there should be some improvements, because nobody/nothing is perfect except for Him. I was constantly having some confrontations (physical and verbal) with some of the kids there, especially with a kid named Hunter, and I think the director should have investigated it instead of brushing me off. Although they couldn't handle my bad behavior anymore after 10 days, I still received good psych care despite my bad behavior. Thank you Ms. Annemarie, Ms. Shannen, Ms. Nordeen, Ms. Celina, Mr. Ezekiel, Mr. Daevonte, Ms. Melissa, Ms. Shanicka, Ms. Nina, and my therapist (I forgot her name but she was good to me) I'm sorry to disappoint you guys, you guys have been good to me I really appreciate you guys, God bless you all. 🙏🙏

I can’t speak to how Ambrosia is today (I did look through the reviews though and it seems as though it’s gone downhill a lottttt in the last few years with mainly negative reviews whereas the older ones are all positive. Unfortunately I’ve been to a lot of treatment facilities but Ambrosia was by far the best - like 100x better. I actually loved it there a little too much as I went through their inpatient program 8 times. That wasn’t because it wasn’t an amazing program it was me that was the problem. I constantly self sabotaged and didn’t know how to function in the world sober and essentially became institutionalized. (The last time I went they told me it was the last time and I was black listed and wouldn’t be allowed to come back because they realized I had an unhealthy comfortability with the facility. I truly did consider it my home. Every time I went I really did try my hardest and the staff did everything in their power to help and support me including sending me to an outside trauma therapist who I worked with for 4 years and she helped me immensely. I wish I could say ambrosia was the last place I went to but it took a lot more rehabs for me to finally get out of my own way. It doesn’t seem like any of the staff is still there (I went the first time in 2011) but they truly cared and helped keep me safe from my own self and I’ll forever be grateful. I don’t think I would be alive today if I never went to ambrosia or if I didn’t go as many times as I did. Actually I know I wouldn’t. So this review goes out to everyone that worked there a long time ago. James, Ashley, Mike, Jordan (especially you - you’re the reason I never spent a single night on the streets and you never gave up on me). And all the techs from that time too. Shauna, Nicole, Ro, Tonia…. I owe you all my life. 🩵

I went here in 2014 and currently have 10 years clean. The community outside of treatment that this place introduces you to is invaluable to early recovery. Port St. Lucie is the perfect little quiet town to settle into when you're coming out of something as serious as hard drug addiction—especially if you're from the Northeast. This is my first recovery program and I can honestly say that Neuro Psychiatric Addiction clinic save my life. The staffs and techs was very good to the patients and that really played a big part, far as me receiving the love and care I needed to get better. Today I'm sober and clean and HAPPY!!!

My name is William Hopkins I go by Liam and I was at a point in my life where I have just burned every bridge exhausted every angle for help in the city that I was living in and I was just at my very bottom I called my insurance company for help they gave me a place in Jacksonville Florida called Lakeview health Lakeview hospital that I was way too messed up for their program and I wasn't going to be able to go there so they turned me on to this place called neuropsychiatric addiction clinic let me tell you I have done a full circle bounce back I got back like my physical appearance my mental state is at its best it's ever been in my whole entire life and the staff is great they help you out they feed you and talk to you the psychologist psychiatrist the groups there were on point they really you know hit the subjects that needed to be touched for each individual person there and I just want to give a big thanks everybody that works there I'm a part of their PHP program and that is another awesome amazing program so if you know somebody that needs help and they really need help and want help send the neuro they will get them right

Intrepid is an amazing place to pursue your recovery journey. The staff members really care about all of the clients, and help every step of the way. They went above and beyond to give me all of the support I needed in every aspect of my life. I highly recommend, and encourage anyone who is thinking about treatment, to go to Intrepid. They continue to keep in touch with me and check in with me. I am so grateful for my experience there!!! The therapists, medical staff and all of the staff members will go the extra mile to be helpful and supportive. They saved my life!!!

I have been through Detox and Residential at Intrepid and am now in my 2nd week of PHP. The experience has been very rewarding and the staff- therapists, techs, nursing- have all been excellent! I recommend Intrepid to any one seeking recovery from addiction.

Hanley Foundation truly saved my life. The treatment, employees and overall community Hanley has given me is priceless.

I attended Hanley for 60 days and attended Intensive Outpatient for one month. This was my second rodeo. I was a Prosecutor and Drug Court General Magistrate (Judicial) for 25 years and spoke at every facility you could imagine. Actively involved. I took the fall myself (go figure) and put myself into Hanley because I was well aware of their reputation. It was the best and most holistic experience of my life. Great facility etc. BUT that is not what matters. The 12 Step Concept they utilize along with dual quality education and therapies saved my life. I live by the Steps, follow what they inspired me to do and I am reborn. No scintilla of a desire for a drink. Actively involved with them still and always will be if they will have me!

A year ago yesterday Kat picked me up from the airport. In 10 minutes, I'll be going to a meeting to pick up my 1-year chip ❤️ From the moment I picked up the phone and spoke with the rep, Trisha, I had an amazing experience! She and my sister helped me coordinate my trip, as I was in no condition to do so myself. Within hours I had an airplane ticket and a bed. The first week is a daze. But I was comfortable, taken care of, and well fed. They also accommodated my dietary needs. The med staff paid close attention, monitoring vitals, and doing extra check-ins as needed (ex: coming during the night to check blood pressure if too low). The medication made detox comfortable, and made me feel safe (a major reason I chose a center was fear of DTs/death). The staff doctor was great, too. While there, we were offered groups that were very beneficial. These included relaxation/meditation/ mindfulness sessions, communication classes, and chiropractic services. There were fun activities like tiedye and group painting. H & I also came in daily, or was run by house staff. This was my intro to AA, which I've come to love and embrace. The rooms were comfortable, with a TV for each bed (head phones provided). My particular roommate situation was incredible! 3 of us text regularly, and are certain to be lifelong friends. The grounds are beautiful! The courtyard is a lovely place to relax and socialize. The back yard area has activities like corn hole and yard nuts. There's a sandbox that I called my beach, and would lounge and journal with my feet in the sand. Initially, I planned on detox, only, and then returning to Michigan. When I realized that detox was only the first step, they had reps from rehab facilities visit to help coordinate the second step. Shout out to Kenny, Kat. Marissa, Kenith, Rick and Felicai. I'm sure staff has changed, and that I've forgotten many names. But I'll never forget the amazing people that helped me start my road to recovery.

Just spent a well needed 3wks at 1 solution detox. The entire staff is great. Directors , Doctors ,techs ,nurses and therapist all do their job with ❤️. I would definitely recommend treatment there to anybody struggling with a drug/alcohol disease. Rick W

Banyan Stuart is the best facility and only facility I’ve been to my whole life. The staff is amazing and welcoming. From therapist, techs, kitchen staff, nursing and even the community as a whole. If you put in the work it will all be worth the trip. You want to fish you can fish. You want to watch movies or can. The outside meetings and outings are all amazing and well worth it. Stay the course and do the work. Don’t get in your head and go to the groups and therapy sessions. I’m greatly appreciated for Banyan Stuart and can’t wait to come back in a year to share my story with the community. Thank you all for the encouragement uplifting words and smiles around every corner.

Family first saved our son’s life . He has dual diagnosis and family first was his 5th treatment facility . The program truly dove into both substance use and mental illness. My son seemed to have light in his eyes for the first time after completing the program . Family first family therapy helped our family heal while our son was in treatment. The parent support groups are phenomenal. The team truly cares about youth . I can say our son got nothing but exceptional support/care . They went above and beyond planning and supporting aftercare . If you’re on sending your child here I can tell you they are in good hands . It is a warm and welcoming space to assist adolescent with a substance disorders and mental health issues. It was a lighthouse in a very dark time and is a wonderful option for families.
