They quickly responded to feedback and the community is respectful and supportive of each other. Alumni knows what they’re doing and I cannot speak highly enough of their team, all the therapists are more than competent and some of the most exceptional therapists I’ve ever met. Any issues my family had they would quickly respond to and take action (for the most part). Phone time is lenient especially in PHP (6-10pm) residential it was 1-2 hours for most. If you need help this is the place to get it, the benefits definitely outweigh the cons and is a gift to me.
The complaints I have are:
- Mold on bathroom ceilings (due to low ventilation)
- Certain situations weren’t handled well or at all
- Ants in community room and in general
- Hot tub wasn’t working most of the duration of my stay
- Very low patient to staff ratio (1:10 at one point)
- Inconsistent rule enforcement

Working at Coastal Detox has been one of the most meaningful experiences of my life. As someone in recovery, I never imagined I would be on the other side, helping others find hope and healing. This place gave me a second chance, and now I get to be a part of giving that to others. What makes Coastal special is the heart behind the work. Many of us are in recovery ourselves, and that lived experience is respected and valued here. The staff genuinely care, and the support, both for clients and employees, is real. I'm proud to work for a program that truly believes in people and walks them through every step of the process. Being a part of that journey is an honor I don't take lightly.

Additional tre | Treatments Programs Payment Options | Honestly I have received good psych care from here but I still think there should be some improvements, because nobody/nothing is perfect except for Him. I was constantly having some confrontations (physical and verbal) with some of the kids there, especially with a kid named Hunter, and I think the director should have investigated it instead of brushing me off. I can’t speak to how Ambrosia is today (I did look through the reviews though and it seems as though it’s gone downhill a lottttt in the last few years with mainly negative reviews whereas the older ones are all positive. Unfortunately I’ve been to a lot of treatment facilities but Ambrosia was by far the best - like 100x better. I actually loved it there a little too much as I went through their inpatient program 8 times. That wasn’t because it wasn’t an amazing program it was me that was the problem. I constantly self sabotaged and didn’t know how to function in the world sober and essentially became institutionalized. (The last time I went they told me it was the last time and I was black listed and wouldn’t be allowed to come back because they realized I had an unhealthy comfortability with the facility. I truly did consider it my home. Every time I went I really did try my hardest and the staff did everything in their power to help and support me including sending me to an outside trauma therapist who I worked with for 4 years and she helped me immensely. I wish I could say ambrosia was the last place I went to but it took a lot more rehabs for me to finally get out of my own way. It doesn’t seem like any of the staff is still there (I went the first time in 2011) but they truly cared and helped keep me safe from my own self and I’ll forever be grateful. I don’t think I would be alive today if I never went to ambrosia or if I didn’t go as many times as I did. Actually I know I wouldn’t. So this review goes out to everyone that worked there a long time ago. James, Ashley, Mike, Jordan (especially you - you’re the reason I never spent a single night on the streets and you never gave up on me). And all the techs from that time too. Shauna, Nicole, Ro, Tonia…. I owe you all my life. 🩵

MAT involves using FDA-approved medication to help clients manage cravings and lower the chances of relapse during treatment. The partial hospitalization program at Mir | Treatments Programs Payment Options | I just graduated from Miracles’ Intensive Outpatient Program last Friday and I have nothing but praise for the treatment center and staff. I began my journey at Miracles on May 9 after two weeks in a detox. I began in their PHP program, completed the recommended four weeks, and expected to maybe stay a month or two in IOP. Once I arrived at Miracles; however, I felt like it was where I was meant to be. I have completed a few other PHPs, but none before Miracles did I even start, let alone complete, IOP. I wanted to stay in Miracles IOP and sober living longer than the average stay, and was able to work with my therapist to have my time in the program extended more than one time. In all, I was at Miracles for five months. I was able to learn from the treatment program, attend outside meetings, find a sponsor and work the steps all while living in Freedom Housing with affordable weekly rent. I am also currently reliant on crutches to walk or get around at all, and they were accommodating to my physical disability. I was able to stay on my medications for mental health and substance abuse with regular visits with a medical provider. I finally felt “at home” living and attending treatment with Miracles. I am forever grateful for my time in the program and everyone who helped me during my extended time there. I would highly recommend Miracles for someone who has completed detox/residential treatment and is ready to get serious about their sobriety and recovery. Along with clinical staff, I would also like to mention how amazing Eric and Shanell are at their jobs and going above and beyond the call of duty helping those of us in recovery.

My family and I are so grateful for Miracles Recovery Center. From the very beginning, the staff has gone above and beyond to make sure my mom feels supported and cared for. Derek, on the business development team, took the time to walk us through everything and made the whole process so much easier. And Stephanie, her case manager, has been such a blessing — always checking in, truly listening, and guiding her every step of the way.

I have had an amazing experience with this facility...recovery that sticks...from the new housing, great staff, and flexible food options...I was given the care I needed to get things right in my life and beat addiction...the staff is great, Jess my therapist is incredible to work with and can connect with anyone in a friendly way that can be appropriately tough when needs to be but is relatable and encouraging, it's obvious she loves what she does, my caseworker Janey gave me solutions that set me up for success during and after php level of care, and she goes above and beyond what's required to make things possible for us...last but not least I cannot forget the techs the blue that holds the place together. RBS techs are behind the scenes and available keeping everything running through the day and available 24 hours a day. They keep the place clean they get the beds ready they make sure we get to and from where we need to be. They also go out of their way getting us all the varies requests that we make that they don't necessarily have to do all in the kindness of their hearts... When we have bad days they still get the job done no matter where the clients are at or how they are being treated they're sensitive to the fact that sometimes we're difficult and our moods can go up and down trying to deal with so many new people while we're trying to get sober and learn coping skills. Out of all the techs I would have to say Taylor has gone above and beyond we had a rough start the first time that I tried to come through and I left... When I came back and actually finished this program you forgave me for how I was and has gone out of her way to help with little things that made big differences. She handles her daily responsibilities thoroughly and make sure things are done right and with care. Thank you RBS for this amazing experience I will be forever grateful!!!
P.S. special thanks to all the people involved in my recovery here but I haven't mentioned therapists, techs, caseworkers, doctors, nurses, clinical directors, and all of the incredible group facilitators that fed me what I needed to overcome the need to use substance helping find that I never had a substance issue that I had an issue with my life and the way things were going. Jupiter, Florida | Sandy Pines Hospital is a behavioral health facility in Jupiter, Florida. This facility offers residential mental health and addiction treatment for adolescents. They accommodate 149 patients in six units. Five units are dedicated to serving adolescents aged 13 through 17 in a therapeutic and structured environment. If your child attends treatment | Treatments Programs Payment Options | No residential treatment center is perfect. But my child went in suicidal, self harming, failing school and with no coping skills for the huge emotions that accompany bipolar disorder…and came out 5 months later substantially improved, emotionally stable and with skills to manage stress. She is in the best mental health she’s been in, in recent memory. I’m grateful.

I have written both positive and negative reviews about this hospital back to back because I simply didn’t know how I felt about this place at first. But now I have made up my mind, and I’ve decided to give a full star rating, as crazy as that may sound at first, because of all the negative comments. I’m not giving this place a low rating simply because of the fighting and the other negativity that occurred in this facility because that can literally happen at any mental hospital. I have learned many things since I came here. I learned that life was worth living for and that fighting people is wrong. I fought two other residents when I was over there and my therapist and doctor rightfully punished me for it. They took away my Captain status and my PGB privilege, so I couldn’t go anywhere besides school. Honestly I was lucky that’s ALL that happened for assaulting those girls. Because that was a crime. Before that happened, I tried to fight this other girl just because she said something about me that made me upset, but I honestly had it coming because I was instigating (it was a LONG story), and nothing gave me a right to try to fight her.
Anyway, before I came to SP, I was a disaster. I was experiencing active suicidal ideation and was self harming multiple times a week. I attempted suicide one time by drinking Pine-Sol. Around the time I got sexually assaulted by my mom’s ex boyfriend so that just made the suicidal ideation worse. I was suicidal before I got raped, by the way. So therefore, if I had not been admitted to Sandy Pines, I probably would’ve been killed myself. I had a loving and caring therapist and psychiatrist and honestly I never had a bad experience with any of the staff. I have intense remorse for attacking those two people and I haven’t fought anyone for 5 years now. Since I left SP, there were times that I relapsed with the suicidal ideation, attempts, and self harm, but recently I have been improving. Now I’m in college and I’m graduating in the fall semester with my associates degree in education. I plan on being an elementary teacher in the future. I’m still working on myself. And I gotta say, going to Sandy Pines is part of my success story.

Essentials has been SO important to my sobriety journey, I cannot thank them enough.
They take the time and care to get to know each client as an individual and then match them up with the best services to fit your needs. They cover all the bases with an interdisciplinary approach to substance issues and mental health - but more than that, they make you feel empowered to take charge of your own recovery.
Ps: They usually have snacks.

Amazing! I was living comfortably on their property in their cozy town homes. Great staff, everyone was very polite and I didn’t have one negative interaction. I was able to keep my phone and anything I needed such as going to the bank was provided. They made sure I was able to take care of my matters outside of the facility which helped me improve my situation a lot. By the time I discharged I had all my affairs in order and was actually ready to get back to life. They transported me to the sober living in Miami and my life has been much better. This was a great experience for me. I highly recommend it! Thank you to the staff and I really appreciate it!!

Really good program. PHP is awesome but a shame to see there isn't a residential IOP. If they ever decide to extend the program there will definitely be referrals!
