Don’t come here if you’re not ready to put in the work it takes to heal your mental health. The counselors here are amazing — they really care, but they’ll also challenge you to face the things you’ve been avoiding. The staff is attentive and supportive, always willing to help when you need something. The rooms are comfortable, the view is beautiful, and the food is actually really good. This isn’t a place to just relax and coast — it’s a place to grow, reflect, and do the hard work to better yourself. If you’re willing to do that, you’ll get a lot out of being here.

After attempting recovery many times at many places I finally found a place with not just run of the mill staff, but actual role models. The majority of staff here have struggled with addiction at one point or another themselves and are fully capable of understanding the situations many of us have been through prior to to coming here. From the techs, facilitators and therapists all the way up to the CEO, these people are great examples of what recovery can look like. The atmosphere has a balance of being professional yet fun. And the staff here manage to be empathetic towards the clients while also pushing us to find accountability in our lives and become better people. The housing is clean and well maintained. Clients go on "field trips" once a week to do cool stuff like kayaking, hiking, snorkeling, movies, etc. It was a relief to have found a place that is fun to be at and gives you the tools you need to have a successful transition from addiction to being a productive member of society. They truly deserve all 5 stars!

When I initially started, I was completely shattered and unsure if it was the right fit. However, they showed unwavering dedication to my well-being even when I lost hope. I wholeheartedly recommend this program to anyone in recovery. The team is genuinely invested, listens attentively, and exhibits great patience. Tribe deserves all the credit for my progress in recovery. 5 months sober and still continuing! Even after leaving The program the therapist always check in on me and I appreciate every single staff member there!

Unity Recovery saved my life. I spent 10 years in active alcoholism, each day worse than the one before. I honestly thought I would never find a way out of the hell I was living in. I tried many ways, AA, outpatient therapy, medical treatment from my family doctor... you name it. Nothing worked. The next stop on my alcohol journey would have been death or jail. I had given up all hope. I came to Unity for rehab and recovery because my family located them on my behalf. Rehab was ABSOLUTELY the most difficult thing I have ever done. It felt like it nearly killed me, and I absolutely do NOT have the ability to do another rehab again. Honestly, I don't know how people go through rehabs three or four times. It was so difficult, but it was also SO WORTH IT. My therapist, Lisa Fiorino, uncovered the ROOT of my alcholism and started my healing from there outward. Because of her and this program, I am thankful to have accomplished over four years of sobriety. Thank you, Unity.

Edit 11/19/25: While my last procedure was the worst of them (full hysterectomy post op care wise) & that is what this previous review (below) review was originally about…. I’d like to redeem them as I went back for breast cancer reconstructive surgery 11/18 & the lead RN came in to assure me that they have made changes in post-op care. They did, I wasn’t rushed to wake up shaking uncontrollably, chattering jaw, or vomiting & they gave me an oxygen mask right away. I know alot of people get sick coming out, but they finally realized I was a lot more than just that & they didn’t brush it off this time. It was a much smoother recovery room & sent home aware of what was happening & without a puke bag. June 2025: I want to start off with I’ve had multiple surgeries and treatments at Jupiter for miscarriages, I birthed my kids, and went through breast cancer all with amazing care!… I recently had a full hysterectomy in their new building outpatient and had THE ABSOLUTE WORST POST OP CARE EVER! I am known to have trouble coming out of anesthesia: they couldn’t boot me out fast enough. My husband said it was awful, my body shaking, trembling uncontrollably, my jaw wouldn’t stop chattering, I was being forced to wake up with a smell stick, while being put on oxygen because I wasn’t breathing and dry heaving- let’s not forget the extreme pain I was in from just coming out of a major procedure. With all of this just 2 hours after my surgery they couldn’t shove me in wheelchair fast enough with a puke bag and yelling at me to keep my eyes open. When I spoke to my surgeon about this, she was LIVID. It takes a 2 second phone call or text from a nurse to update on a patients condition. NO ONE told my Dr they kicked me out in that shape just 2 hours after a procedure. I was hit with it at all and had the worst few days following that.

The care here is really good.

I attended RBS back in 2021 for alcoholism. All I can say is that this place saved my life. I learned so many ways how to manage my life without alcohol. I knew that recovery started with me admitting that I was powerless over alcohol and that my life had become unmanageable. Everything that they taught us in recovery I still use today. I learned to accept that I am an alcoholic. But I also knew that it does not define who I am today. Because as of April 7, 2024, I celebrated 3 years sober. If it wasn't for this recovery center to help get me started in my journey and have faith in those who walk into that door I don't know where I would be. And because I am sober today, I am now following my dream to help others recover from their addictions. I am working on my BA in mental and substance abuse counseling and a minor in psychology. And also, was able to marry the man of my dreams who stuck by my side while I was in recovery. Thank you, Sooo much to those who work hard to help us get sober.

I really appreciated the staff and my experience here. I learned a lot about myself within the 4 weeks of being here. The therapists and other staff members were very accommodating and talked with me whenever I needed them. The groups are my favorite part because no matter who the therapist was running the group was, I took something from every group. I recommend Recovery By The Sea to anyone who is serious about recovery.

I don’t know where to start!!! I am filled with tears of joy every day because of the dedicated work I have been putting in healing from my childhood trauma. Ann Marie employs Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy, which has been incredibly effective for me. She has a unique ability to create a safe and supportive environment that encourages deep exploration and healing of my past wounds. Not only do I see her individually, but my husband and I also attend couples therapy with her. The insights we've gained through IFS have helped us understand each other's burdens and childhood experiences in a way that has strengthened our relationship. Essentials has been SO important to my sobriety journey, I cannot thank them enough. They take the time and care to get to know each client as an individual and then match them up with the best services to fit your needs. They cover all the bases with an interdisciplinary approach to substance issues and mental health - but more than that, they make you feel empowered to take charge of your own recovery. Ps: They usually have snacks.

Dr Joe Ann Falcon Hickey is a God Send She doesn't mind checking up on you and will do injections She is med-management and got me off most of my meds while controlling my facial tick

You have to stay ahead of appointments, prescriptions, medications, etc. Dr Kepfer is experienced and knowledgeable psych Dr. she will guide you in the right direction. As a patient you have to follow through with orders. Mental health is difficult. We have to be proactive about our self care and educate ourselves on diagnosis. Medication is a “helper.” I, you, all patients must learn about your disease. Group therapy is an excellent way to learn about yourself, triggers, coping mechanisms, side effects, etc. If you’re not willing to help yourself, you can’t expect your dr to fix everything.

Again I was there and they never fail to amaze me. Dr Barrios and front desk and therapists are fantastic.

I am very grateful for having the opportunity to be a client at Harmony. I have been carrying alot of trauma and little hope until I met my therapist Stephanie. Suzanne, my case Manager, has a heart of gold and made sure that we found housing for me when the options were extremely limited. The entire clinical staff truly goes above and beyond. Raj is a great medical/psych provider and his right hand woman Selena is a SuperStar. The techs are under appreciated and so dedicated and patient with the clients.
