My experience is primarily with the virtual IOP program and as far as that goes I can assure you it's absolutely wonderful. From the first time I spoke to Jen when she introduced the program to me I could tell it would be different. The ability to attend support groups on zoom is so helpful as long as you know how to operate technology and you have decent wifi. I really appreciate how flexible they were as I figured out my new life and how to work my personal schedule. All of the facilitators bring a different style to their groups but each one is different, engaging, and they all know what they're talking about for you're willing to listen. A lot of what you get out of the groups depends on what you put in, but the community that CWC has built has been nothing but welcoming and encouraging through my growth. Paul, Ally, and Augustine especially had an impact on my journey there. The fact that even though I've completed the program I'm still welcome back to group anytime is such a gift I hope to always treasure. Insurance paid a lot of money for me to be there and now I get to go for free? I'll definitely be back and God bless you all for creating this wonderful healing place. In my humble opinion you all are doing your jobs right.

If you’re on the fence about CWC, I’d say give it a shot. I’ll walk you through the reasons behind my ‘why.’ Comprehensive Wellness Centers has been truly life-changing. They take a very holistic approach to recovery including but not limited to 1-on-1 therapy, group therapy, Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation Therapy (TMS) — please research TMS and complete 25-36 sessions during your time at CWC. In my opinion, this is one of their best wellness perks - it basically “cures” brain fog, depression, and anxiety. From the moment I entered the program on May 2, 2025, I was met with compassion, structure, and professionalism that exceeded all expectations. The treatment is intensive, ranging 12 to 40 hours of weekly clinical group therapy, individual sessions, psychiatric care, but every element is thoughtfully designed and deeply impactful. Their staff is not only highly trained, but genuinely invested in patient success. The center is fully licensed and Joint Commission accredited, ensuring top-tier standards of care. The program goes beyond symptom management, as it specifically supports lasting recovery with individualized plans, real-world integration, and a compassionate community. Since transitioning to the virtual IOP, I’ve continued to receive exceptional support while reintegrating into daily life. The virtual program is just as engaging and effective, helping me stay grounded, focused, and accountable. CWC didn’t just help me recover, they helped me reclaim my life. I recommend this program wholeheartedly to anyone seeking meaningful, lasting change. A year ago yesterday Kat picked me up from the airport. In 10 minutes, I'll be going to a meeting to pick up my 1-year chip ❤️ From the moment I picked up the phone and spoke with the rep, Trisha, I had an amazing experience! She and my sister helped me coordinate my trip, as I was in no condition to do so myself. Within hours I had an airplane ticket and a bed. The first week is a daze. But I was comfortable, taken care of, and well fed. They also accommodated my dietary needs. The med staff paid close attention, monitoring vitals, and doing extra check-ins as needed (ex: coming during the night to check blood pressure if too low). The medication made detox comfortable, and made me feel safe (a major reason I chose a center was fear of DTs/death). The staff doctor was great, too. While there, we were offered groups that were very beneficial. These included relaxation/meditation/ mindfulness sessions, communication classes, and chiropractic services. There were fun activities like tiedye and group painting. H & I also came in daily, or was run by house staff. This was my intro to AA, which I've come to love and embrace. The rooms were comfortable, with a TV for each bed (head phones provided). My particular roommate situation was incredible! 3 of us text regularly, and are certain to be lifelong friends. The grounds are beautiful! The courtyard is a lovely place to relax and socialize. The back yard area has activities like corn hole and yard nuts. There's a sandbox that I called my beach, and would lounge and journal with my feet in the sand. Initially, I planned on detox, only, and then returning to Michigan. When I realized that detox was only the first step, they had reps from rehab facilities visit to help coordinate the second step. Shout out to Kenny, Kat. Marissa, Kenith, Rick and Felicai. I'm sure staff has changed, and that I've forgotten many names. But I'll never forget the amazing people that helped me start my road to recovery.

Just spent a well needed 3wks at 1 solution detox. The entire staff is great. Directors , Doctors ,techs ,nurses and therapist all do their job with ❤️. I would definitely recommend treatment there to anybody struggling with a drug/alcohol disease. Rick W

I write this review 45 months sober. I was convinced by Ruby to share my experience, because it's important to share the hope I received when I came to TBT (The Best Treatment) in February of 2022. I thought that my anonymity was so precious that I shouldn't post a review on such a large platform such as the internet, because it would be immortalized, possibly forever. However, working a program has changed me into a lighthouse, rather than a searchlight. I have a responsibility to show that recovery is possible, not convince others they need it. TBT really did save my life. I was so hopeless prior to asking for help, that in a powerful moment I asked myself if this is what life is supposed to look like. I knew deep down somewhere that there had to be a reason I was still alive, and that life could and should be better than the life I was living. So somehow I worked up the courage to ask for help, probably the scariest moment I can remember. Without the love and support of family and friends, the remainder of my story may look different. I don't know what would have become of me without that love. I believe that they also knew I needed help, and could/should live a better life. So on my birthday I checked in to TBT. From the very start, they seamlessly continued that warm feeling of love and support to help me through the start of my journey. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't difficult at times to deal with. After I was through the detox phase, I was very aware that I was the problem. I needed to change. Drugs and alcohol were my solution to my problem. Anything to escape myself was right in my wheelhouse. I just wanted to run away from the loud noise that was my mind, and pretend that I can manage my life. I wanted to leave treatment and dig back into life full throttle. I had lots of lost time to make up for, after just 10 days clean. Luckily, in another powerful moment, I listened to Alena (Program Director) after I told her "My Plan". She quickly responded with the truth about how my plan led me to the life that was darkening everyday, and this new plan was equally flawed. She used love and understanding to get through to me. I decided to surrender to the process, something that is absolutely required for a new way of living. TBT became my home base. I stayed all the way to the end, about 8 months in total. And just like a relationship at home, we didn't always see eye to eye. However, as a father of a 10 year old boy, sometimes it takes a scraped knee, or bump on the head before the kid sees the benefit of wearing the protection. I was the kid in this example, but TBT was there to really teach me about why I was thinking the way I was, and quickly helped me get direction on the right path. As I went through the program, TBT was there like a parent sending their kid to college. TBT gave me enough space and education to learn how to live on my own. Just like a home. Just like finishing school, my journey had just started. TBT made available the tools I still use to stay sober. TBT made them available, I had to choose to use them. RE-learn, Unlearn, and take steps to better my life. I learned how to reduce my significance and help others. As far as the accommodations, property, and food provided, all I can say is TBT was way better than the abandoned trailer and back of my truck that I was living in by miles. None of that matters now anyway, but they were above my expectations. TBT is not the only place you can get what you need for a new way of living, it's just the only place that I connected with on a much deeper level to be placed on a path to a happy life. I don't know how to end this review because my journey will never be complete, I am always learning, and I continue to try and help. Recovery is possible, with love and support.

There is so much I can say about TBT. I used to be in and out treatment centers, but ever since I went to TBT. I’ve been sober ever since. I’m going on 4 years of sobriety!! I still talk about James’s group therapy. I couldn’t be more happier with all the care and support I received at TBT. If you are looking for a treatment center that you can create a solid foundation to build your life upon, this is the place. This place did more than give me back my life, it gave me an entirely new one! The therapy is better than anyplace I’ve ever been to!! Thank you TBT!!
