They refuse to help the people who look to them to get help; the service is extremely unprofessional, I have seen them deny appointments because just don't want to attend more patients, they only care for themselves and not for the patients.

This was a horrible facility. They do not treat patients like people half of the time. A nurse told me if I wanted to leave I needed to pretend to be normal. They wouldn't give me my meds for a serious health issue until I told them I'd have an episode that would send me to the hospital. I paid thousands of dollars for the privilege of sitting in a room with other adults coloring on pages that were already half colored. The staff were rude at best and threatening at worst. When my dad came to pick me up they told him they'd have him committed for trying to get me out. They tried to make me sign consent forms on the way out which I did NOT. Then I got to pay thousands of dollars to them for the pleasure of "treatment".

They are not at all considered with people, they forced me to spend almost 5 days with the same clothes, the treatment they give to patients in this place is unacceptable.

Good experience, they were busy, had appointment and was in and out in less than 30 minutes.

Completed IOP and I cannot thank the staff enough for their help. I was assigned to Zach’s group where we focused on PTSD and surrounding symptoms. I was reluctant at first to be in a group setting, but found it was a very supportive method to learning not only about your own problems, but the similarity of others problems and finding ways to manage them. Zach was am amazing therapist who was extremely insightful in what people were suffering from. The program, along with therapy, also covered medication management. The design of the care I received gave me the ability to understand what was going on with me and how to learn how to manage it. This was not the first place I want to in Panama City. But it’s the only one I would suggest.

Going from life management to here is like a whole different universe, I did group therapy an am doing tms right now. This is the only place we're I've received legitimate an compassionate care. Denise who does the tms service is amazing. Took a few weeks to figure out my insurance an getting the property diagnosis to receive care an she played phone tag with me the whole time until we got it done. Very grateful

The hospital is genuinely amazing on the adolescent unit. Everything was already taken care of all I needed to focus on was getting better, the staff was amazing besides a couple and they were so patient with me and my mom in the process I recommend this hospital 100% I couldn’t wish for a better place to get the help I need. Honorable mentions -Mrs Bryanna, Mrs Francis, Mr Kendrick, Mr. B and Mrs. Tammy over on the outpatient care. Thank you so much I, and everyone else appreciate you guys more than you know.

I was given the best care by the nursing staff and doctors.

This time I had a good experience. Went in for a fib, was in a fib also found a blood clot in my lung. The emergency room doctor and nurses were great. And then I got admitted and had a four day stay Dr. landenfelser And staff were good. Molly was one of the great nurses he took care of me also Ashley, she was really good. She took care of me. Miss Tammy took care of me and Miss Debbie took care of me. And if I didn’t have your name, I’m sorry, but you did good too. All in all this trip wasn’t bad. I’m home. Have to wait three months to go any further because of the blood clot. And cardio Vascular Institute doctors are always great. I’ve been seeing them for 12 years. Thank you.

Jacob, a young husband and father of two, was personable and proficient in his skills and knowledge of his profession. He helped me understand the benefits of a continuous MRI. He made my experience pleasant!!

The Avalon Center staff have been an immense help in navigating my road to better mental health. I was diagnosed with bipolar I disorder last year and these folks have done everything they can to give me the best care possible. I was without insurance for months and they were able to help me apply for patient assistance so that I could get my necessary monthly injection that was prohibitively expensive without insurance. My provider and case manager are both amazing. The staff up front as well. I couldn't be happier with my choice to go with the Avalon Center during this difficult time in my life.

Anjelique and Stacy are always kind, compassionate, courteous, and professional. I appreciate their assistance and have never had anything but a great experience here.

Want about 12 years ago. Owe my life to them. I’m able to be the father brother son I’m suppose to be!!!

I went there in 2020 for a few weeks. it was a really good program, I was not ready for help though. If you are not ready to get help, it rarely ever works. So I came up with every excuse why I should leave. But the staff, counselors, food and everything else I highly recommend.

Revision! After calming down I’m choosing to redo my review. The lackadaisical efforts of one shouldn’t reflect on the entirety of this place. Fact is this place has changed my life in a short time for the better. The medical staff is top shelf, nurses at the windows are great. The problem I had was that since starting this program I’ve done everything text book as im asked when I’m asked. They were short staffed due to vacation time, sick time, and in the process of hiring more staff. So I checked in with a wait time of 40 minutes 7:00 A.M. I was flagged. So I did exactly what i was told to do in the last class I attended “take homes” and I emailed my counselor 7:17 a.m. asking her to remove the flag so I could dose and I would make out 8:45 meeting. 8:42 am I get called to the window 1 hr and 42 min after arrivel. Window nurse says I still have my flags. I got to my 8:45 am meeting. 8:57 am door opens. I told my counselor what happened and i could only do my treatment plan if I could go from that to the dosing window immediately after because I would be late to work. I was late the day before because for the same issues with staffing I was here 2.5 hours. She said she couldn’t do that. When I’ve seen people walked to the front of the line by a counselor to dose for reasons out of their control causing them to miss their dose spot in line. I’ve since requested a counselor change and chose to stay here. One major reason is Ms Joy helping me out and showing me the proper channels to navigate through my mishap in a calm and courteous way. Original This place is garbage! Everybody’s gotta go by the rules but the counselors. Be prepared to wait 2.5-3 hours every day no matter what!

I just had the best quarterly exam with Jared he was very caring and friendly, polite and can't wait to see him again a very pleasant and positive experience ❤️
