2 years clean now. Thank you Evoke.
The staff is wonderful and checked up on me throughout my detox, truly went the extra mile especially while I was sick and not eating or leaving my room. The nursing staff is KIND and so gentle. I am eternally grateful, especially to the night shift staff and case manager Mark. Kind souls that pushed me to go to the next step and take my life back from my addiction. All of my love.

Evoke wellness is by and far the most caring and relatable treatment facility I have been n to. I have fallen in love with the staff and consider them family, I'm not exaggerating when I say that they have given me the reason and strength to fight. Renee you saved my life, and I'm forever grateful. She would not let me quit on myself and stayed in contact with me even on her off time when she didn't have to. To Tom Sr. and Tom Jr. I love you thank you for for showing me that I am not defined by the past, and I can shape the outcome of my future. And last but not least to Tori and Ashley and the rest of the staff at Evoke wellness I miss you guy's and love each of you and am looking forward to seeing you guys again, this time under different circumstances. I have nothing but positive feedback for this treatment center because that's exactly what this is. It treats not only the addiction but the mind as well. My counselor, Kris, has helped me just within a year and a half to completely shift my way of thinking and get to the root of my issues. This was a horrible facility. They do not treat patients like people half of the time. A nurse told me if I wanted to leave I needed to pretend to be normal. They wouldn't give me my meds for a serious health issue until I told them I'd have an episode that would send me to the hospital. I paid thousands of dollars for the privilege of sitting in a room with other adults coloring on pages that were already half colored. The staff were rude at best and threatening at worst. When my dad came to pick me up they told him they'd have him committed for trying to get me out. They tried to make me sign consent forms on the way out which I did NOT. Then I got to pay thousands of dollars to them for the pleasure of "treatment".

Exceptional Service from Tina Carter Pearl – A True Asset to Bridgeway Center
I rarely write reviews, but the extraordinary assistance I received from Tina Carter Pearl at the Bridgeway Center in Fort Walton Beach, Florida deserves the highest praise imaginable. Tina is, without question, one of the most dedicated and tenacious professionals I’ve encountered in my 30 years as a retired US Navy Command Master Chief.
Faced with the notoriously difficult task of obtaining documentation from the Veterans Administration—specifically from the James A. Haley Mental Health Center in Temple Terrace—Tina tackled the challenge with the determination of a bulldog. She never lost focus, never gave up, and never left me in the dark. Her persistence in contacting the VA, coordinating with Amy there, and ensuring my course was properly recorded not just at Bridgeway but at the state level was nothing short of heroic.
Tina kept me informed every step of the way, demonstrating a level of care, professionalism, and follow-through that is increasingly rare in today’s workforce. Her “can-do” attitude and relentless pursuit of resolution made me feel supported, respected, and genuinely cared for.
If I were still building teams in the Navy, I’d recruit her in a heartbeat. She is an absolute asset to your organization, and I hope her efforts are recognized not just with gratitude—but with a well-deserved raise. Employees like Tina don’t just represent your company—they elevate it.
Thank you, Tina, for going above and beyond. You made a difficult process manageable, and you did it with grace, grit, and excellence.
Best Regards,

Revision!
After calming down I’m choosing to redo my review. The lackadaisical efforts of one shouldn’t reflect on the entirety of this place. Fact is this place has changed my life in a short time for the better. The medical staff is top shelf, nurses at the windows are great. The problem I had was that since starting this program I’ve done everything text book as im asked when I’m asked. They were short staffed due to vacation time, sick time, and in the process of hiring more staff. So I checked in with a wait time of 40 minutes 7:00 A.M. I was flagged. So I did exactly what i was told to do in the last class I attended “take homes” and I emailed my counselor 7:17 a.m. asking her to remove the flag so I could dose and I would make out 8:45 meeting. 8:42 am I get called to the window 1 hr and 42 min after arrivel. Window nurse says I still have my flags. I got to my 8:45 am meeting. 8:57 am door opens. I told my counselor what happened and i could only do my treatment plan if I could go from that to the dosing window immediately after because I would be late to work. I was late the day before because for the same issues with staffing I was here 2.5 hours. She said she couldn’t do that. When I’ve seen people walked to the front of the line by a counselor to dose for reasons out of their control causing them to miss their dose spot in line. I’ve since requested a counselor change and chose to stay here. One major reason is Ms Joy helping me out and showing me the proper channels to navigate through my mishap in a calm and courteous way.

Florida is ranked 21st nationwide in terms of addiction treatment affordability, with an average cost of addiction treatment of $56,640.
The costs of drug and alcohol rehab in Florida vary widely and depend on several factors, including:
The costs of addiction treatment listed for cities and states are averages based on the cost of the treatment types listed above. These averages are high due to the cost of medical detoxification and residential inpatient rehab programs.
These numbers also reflect the raw cost of drug rehab, before any insurance coverage. The typical individual seeking addiction treatment can expect to pay much less for outpatient or intensive outpatient services than the averages listed below.
There are many ways to pay for drug rehab in Florida. Most treatment centers accept cash or self-payment, as well as private health insurance. However, there are many treatment centers in Florida that accept Medicaid and Medicare, or offer sliding scale payments or other low-cost payment options. Here’s the complete breakdown of how to pay for addiction treatment in Florida.
Aetna is the most widely-accepted insurance for drug rehabs in Florida, with 441 treatment centers in the state accepting their insurance. Blue Cross Blue Shield is the 2nd most popular with 401 treatment centers accepting it followed by Cigna in 3rd accepted by 356 drug rehabs.
