Hello my name is Adam. I came to Reign about a month ago. I came from NJ and enrolled to the treatment center because I was struggling with some mental health symptoms that were unmanageable with life and needed assistance with getting myself back on track. The admissions team was so helpful and supportive, they were there when I was making my 22 hour drive. Jake, Benzi, Justin, and Morgan were so supportive on my drive. When I arrived at the facility and during the duration of my stay Corey the primary therapist was very friendly and welcoming. He wasn t like normal therapists where you would have your 30 min session and you re out but he gave me as much time as I needed and let me use my phone and make calls as much as I wanted to do. Then there was Brantley the operations manager and he Was just the absolute best. I developed a great friendship with him and every night we had a thing where we watch movies together. Gina was a great group facilitator and had very informative groups. Overall I had an amazing life changing experience,

I recently completed 30 day residential treatment on Jan 20th 2025. I’ve been in numerous recovery centers, in multiple states, continuously since September 2024. Let me just say, 12 Oaks is definitely one of the best! It’s actually organized and ran quite well. The staff genuinely act like they care…from the therapists and case managers to the kitchen and housekeeping crews! The techs Twyla and Ms. Tammy will forever have a special place in my heart. (They like to look tough lol, but they have genuine caring souls.)
Prospective clients … seriously, give this place a shot. It’s worth it! They offer yoga and meditation a couple days a week, also recreation therapy. You can walk on the beach and pier, play corn hole or basketball. After your 8th day you’re allowed to have your cell phone for one hour per day. Nightly peer lead AA/NA meetings. Bible study and they also take you to a wonderful nondenominational church every Sunday if you chose to go! This is the only place I’ve been that immediately starts working on your aftercare plans for housing and setting up aftercare MAT doctor appointments. They will also take you to the DMV to get your ID if needed.
I can’t recommend 12 Oaks enough. Remember, what you get out of recovery depends on what you put into it! Put in the work, participate in groups, and attend extra meetings! Follow the rules, be respectful and appreciative you’re even given this opportunity to change your life and work on healing yourself. & I promise you, your time in rehab will go a lot smoother.
Thanks again 12 Oaks!

I am THRILLED to update this review.I went in this morning and was told that my case had been reassessed and that I would be immediately returned to phase 27/This tells me a lot...It tells me that they actually cared enough to consider that the drive might be a hardship. they didnt have to do that but they did and I deeply appreciate it. It also tells me that they are willing to put some trust in me and that goes a very long way towards me trusting them and it makes me want to show them that trust is not misplaced.Bottom line they actually cared enough and I am very pleased. Now if they could get a camera bathroom it would be perfect. I understand it is a community bathroom and as such a camera in there would be a problem but there has to be a better way.I can say that I HIGHLY recommend this treatment center, they did right by me when they didn't have to and that should tell you all you need to know. Thanks Y'allWhile I appreciate the service these people provide the experience is not a good one. I was a phase 27 patient for 3 years in the Atlanta area and had to relocate to the Florida panhandle. This was the only clinic that takes my insurance and its a 90 mile drive each way but I figured once a month would be doable...wrong I had to come weekly for 2 months and twice a month for another..I never failed a drug test and they had a 5 plus year history from my previous clinic....as if that wasn't bad enough they stand with you in a tiny bathroom while you pee in a cup this is both humiliating and abusive, every clinic I've been to uses cameras not this one. If you are an established patient I highly recommend you seek other options doctors can now prescribe suboxone that may be a better route for you. I strongly recommend Lakeview update its policies rehab should be easier than maintaining an addiction and here it is not. It's better to help people than to humiliate them addiction is bad enough by itself. Ps I am self admitted nobody made me seek help and the Atlanta clinic healthqwest was wonderful they treated us well and when we made the effort we were rewarded and celebrated milestones. THE ONE IN Panama city is the worst, long lines no phasing past 6 and you are treated like a criminal. Bei.g a phase 27 that was out of the question for me so I enrolled here. The people were great, the clinic was efficient clean and friendly my issues were that it was over 200 miles round trip and the biggest they stand there and watch you pee. I have shy bladder and was to the point of having to use a catheter because it was taking an hour or more to do a urine sample.I transferred to Tallahassee clinic the drive was a little shorter but they just pat you down before a urine test so that made it way easier BUT the Tallahassee clinic has huge turnover and currently just 2 councelors, they are more interested in squeezing money than helping even at phase 27 they want you to attend 2 groups a month, 4 so called physicals a year and so on...dont get me wrong, the counselors are good and want to help but it is obvious that they have thier hands tied by corporate. If lakeview could use cameras pat downs or anything other than the stand and stare method for tests i would transfer bsck despite the extra drive...yall PLEASE give that some thought i know I speak for others ss well...you have a really good clinic with really good people you shouldnt abuse patients and staff with this archaic practice.

Revision! After calming down I m choosing to redo my review. The lackadaisical efforts of one shouldn t reflect on the entirety of this place. Fact is this place has changed my life in a short time for the better. The medical staff is top shelf, nurses at the windows are great. The problem I had was that since starting this program I ve done everything text book as im asked when I m asked. They were short staffed due to vacation time, sick time, and in the process of hiring more staff. So I checked in with a wait time of 40 minutes 7:00 A.M. I was flagged. So I did exactly what i was told to do in the last class I attended take homes and I emailed my counselor 7:17 a.m. asking her to remove the flag so I could dose and I would make out 8:45 meeting. 8:42 am I get called to the window 1 hr and 42 min after arrivel. Window nurse says I still have my flags. I got to my 8:45 am meeting. 8:57 am door opens. I told my counselor what happened and i could only do my treatment plan if I could go from that to the dosing window immediately after because I would be late to work. I was late the day before because for the same issues with staffing I was here 2.5 hours. She said she couldn t do that. When I ve seen people walked to the front of the line by a counselor to dose for reasons out of their control causing them to miss their dose spot in line. I ve since requested a counselor change and chose to stay here. One major reason is Ms Joy helping me out and showing me the proper channels to navigate through my mishap in a calm and courteous way.OriginalThis place is garbage! Everybody s gotta go by the rules but the counselors. Be prepared to wait 2.5-3 hours every day no matter what!

| At the Baptist Hospital Behavioral Medicine Center, patients receive substance abuse treatment to help speed addiction recovery. The Behavioral Medicine Center specializes in treating dual diagnosis and mental health, serving adults, adolescents, and children battling drug and alcohol addiction. This rehab is found in Pensacola, Florida, at the Bap | Treatments Programs Payment Options | My daughter was inpatient here during a mental health crisis. She has struggled since about the age of 12 and has been hospitalized numerous times in various facilities (various states)- she is now an adult. Her diagnosis are complex and treatment resistant (for the most part). Her stay here was beneficial with therapist, physicians, and most all providers showing care and empathy. Jenna (the charge nurse I believe), my daughter spoke very fondly of. She showed great care towards all the patients. Addy (sp), a mental health tech was also awesome. My daughter also mentioned Ryan was very kind - and listened. These traits are so important in all aspects of healthcare. There was one issue with a tech working mornings on March 11th in the adult 2 area. This tech had a very rude and almost had a combative attitude. It has no place in this setting. She was a heavier set african american woman with short hair (she did not catch her name)- she was not kind, she was loud, and barked orders as if it were a prison (daughters perception, she has never been arrested). At one point, my daughter said the tech had accosted a patient about using the phone during group and a therapist (I believe she said) had to intervene and tell the tech she allowed it and to back off (basically - stop that behavior). This was the only person my daughter said had a bad attitude. I would hope it was a bad day, because the description of her behavior went beyond what I call clinical efficiency where providers work fast, efficiently - and without thought of emotions. BLUF - this wasn't someone who was not just nice, she came across as unkind - which is different.I was able to observe a smaller african american female tech (I did not catch her name) interacting with patients and who was very sweet on my visit. She directed me to the enclosed nurses station for help with a question. My interactions were brief, but the facility was clean - orderly, very good as far as inpatient mental health facilities go. All in all, everyone (except the one tech) was kind and helpful - and this is how helping those with mental health issues should be. The psychiatrist my daughter saw even spoke to my daughter about why she should stop smoking/vaping - which I appreciated. They provided her with nicotine gum prescription and resources to try to quit. While she has not quit, she did pick up the nicotine gum and said she will try to pull back and reduce her smoking a little at a time. This was a win - small changes.Overall, my hope is that the one woman (angry tech) was having a bad day, but even still, kindness and empathy for others is paramount in healthcare. People are never in a hospital because they are functioning efficiently or optimally - be it physical or mental. Thank you to all the staff! My family is very grateful and IF something else happens, we know where to turn.

My stay here was really nice! Better than any other psych hospital. They let me choose my lunch and dinner, provided group therapies through the day, and really listened to all my problems and concerns. I want to give special kudos to Ryan, Jenna, Addy, and Kaci for making my stay amazing. There was also a weekend therapist who was incredibly nice as well, although I can t remember his name. I was fortunate to get my own room. Facility was clean as well. Overall, I feel like I got the help I needed at Baptist behavioral health unit. I wish I had got everyone s name to shout out all the staff, but I am super bad with names. Thank you for being a place of compassion during a dark period in my life. I hope I never have to be bad enough to go back, but if I do need help again, Baptist will be my first choice.

mom of adolescence admitted, POV review. For starters we have the privilege of having 2 insurances. Unfortunately It can make a difference. My teen was having a mental health crisis. Admitted 12 days adolescence wing. 1st week communication was 5 stars. Then I had to request updates. Day 7, I requested to speak to the Dr, He spoke to us together on day 10. He did apologize for the delay & spent 30 min discussing progress & what discharge & Outpatient would looked like.He was able to get help & diagnosis during his stay.Every med administered was discussed with me 1st.They don't like to force meds unless necessary. This place is very structured & runs on a schedule. Daily visits M-F 4-5pm & Sat/Sun 1:30-3pm.My advice to parents, write a timeline of events that lead up to being admitted. Then keep a log of every time you speak(phone or in person) to a nurse, Dr, your kid. This will help you keep track of things.Overall I was impressed with how this facility helped my son.We had a issue with the medication sent to the pharmacy after discharge. Took 2 calls to fix the issue.Nurse apologized for their mistake.I hope mmy son never has to return, if he has another crisis, we will request this place. To parents of someone in here, support your loved one, advocate for them & hang in there... yall will get through this

The center has distinguished itself by offering its full range of services and meeting patients wher | Treatments Programs Payment Options | My daughter was inpatient here during a mental health crisis.

Bridgeway has been a real life saver for me. I've been seeing them over 25 years for medication management. There have been so many people there that have helped me through my journey with Bipolar Disorder. Very fond of April Burgess who I visit every few months via tele health. She always has a smile.
