I hope I never need to go to a rehab center again but if I did this is the place. The food alone! Omg! I gained twenty pounds. The staff are excellent and it's a lot of fun. If you're like me and you like music or if you play any instrument I strongly suggest spending your time here for your recovery. Artist of any kind will love it.

TARC has played a key role in our loved one’s recovery journey. From our very first interaction with Christine, we felt warmth, compassion, and clear guidance. Case manager Tony showed consistent care and patience toward our loved one, and Jon led family meetings that were both helpful and informative. Scott’s passion for helping clients, combined with his own experiences, has been truly inspiring. TARC is a safe and caring place for anyone seeking sobriety and recovery. The emphasis on healthy eating and fitness training is a powerful part of the program and will leave a lasting positive impact on each individual. The 3-day Family Weekend is especially meaningful and unique—staff like Sara, Andrew, and Tony provided excellent educational sessions, while the time spent together strengthened family bonds in a deep way. Our loved one has now moved on to a sober-living home in another state for career-related reasons. While we wish he had chosen to stay longer and then continue with TARC’s sober-living program, which we understand is also very strong, we remain deeply grateful for the foundation TARC helped him build. Serenity Springs Recovery truly saved my life. When I went through their inpatient program, I gained the strength, guidance, and tools I needed to finally turn things around. This is just a quick review to convey our sincere appreciation for Tyler and how helpful he was during our child’s time at Harmony Hills. The whole team was great, but we are highlighting Tyler because we interfaced the most with him and he really did go above and beyond. Needless to say, this was all a pretty terrifying experience. We spoke with Tyler before we even were considering sending our child to Harmony Hills. Tyler took the time out of his day to speak with us because of his passion for helping people heal from their mental health issues. So he took the time to speak with us when we were in crisis mode and didn’t know where to turn. As luck would have it, we realized Harmony Hills would indeed be the best place for our child. And so from that moment, he literally held our hand through the process. Was always incredibly gracious with his time, and we felt his true passion and desire to help us. We felt heard and acknowledged. And he made us feel more safe. Which is more than we could’ve asked. Our child was at Harmony Hills for a month and we did see some great improvements for which we thank the entire team. Often times, people take the time to post reviews when they’re unhappy with something. This is one of those times when we’re taking the time because of the amazing job that Tyler did. And how important it is to recognize high-quality team members. He’s a keeper. Thanks again for everything.

I am a counselor and recently a person I know had an unexpected mental health crisis. I am experienced in mental health and what to look for and Harmony Hills provided excellent care to her! Most importantly, she received quality mental health care! She also reported great food, accommodations, enjoyable activities, and overall compassion and care. The staff, especially Eddie, Leah, Christine, and Nicole were collaborative and were professional and personable throughout the intake to her completion of the program. I am happy and relieved that she has recovered well and can't say enough good things about Harmony Hills. I would and will recommend them to my clients and anyone who needs residential treatment. They were a Godsend!

The Refuge is a safe, structured and welcoming place that allows growth and genuine healing. Life at The Refuge is structured in a way that truly brings positive results. Not your typical rehab at all. If you've reached the point where you realize life could be so much better and you're willing to do the work then I highly recommend this place to you.

My experience at The Refuge was truly life-changing. From the very beginning, the atmosphere was professional yet incredibly warm and caring. The staff and providers genuinely care (especially if you show your desire for help), and it shows in the way they support and guide you. A special shout-out to my therapist, Jessica—she was amazing and helped me process and grow in ways I didn’t think were possible. The food was excellent (better than I expected!), and the amenities made a real difference in my stay—the gym in particular was a great outlet. What stood out most to me, though, was that the quality of treatment really depends on what you put into it. The Refuge provides the tools, the resources, and the support, but it’s up to you to engage and make the most of it. Overall, I’m deeply grateful for my time here and would recommend The Refuge to anyone who is ready to invest in their healing journey.

Orlando Men’s Rehab changed my life. The staff truly cared, and the faith-based program helped me heal in ways I never thought possible. I didn’t just overcome addiction—I found purpose and hope again.

I had no idea what to expect going in here. This was my first time getting help for drugs and I was really nervous going in. I was even more anxious because the place is faith based,which was new to me. But the staff was nice and didn’t treat me like a screw up and the structure helped me feel normal. The food was better than I thought itd be and they had a decent gym. The whole program was pretty strict, but I get why and it helped me get more stable then I’ve been in a longtime.

I was a student at TC Orlando for 1 year and 5 days. During one of my first weeks in the program a lady at the car wash was kind enough to ask how we were doing that day and encouraged us by saying "remember there's no perfect program" and she was right. There's plusses and minuses to every aspect in life. I am not here to discuss what I thought was wrong with or right about TCO. I will say that many of the negative things I read in other Google reviews have been rectified and are no longer relevant. My aim in writing this review is that you will enter TCO eyes wide open and not be upset or surprised at what you do/don't find and will encounter God, graduate and maintain sobriety afterwards. Let me tell you what Teen Challenge Orlando has to offer Professional Services- If you require doctors visits or dental work, TCO offers transportation to and from appointments. Mentors provide regular opportunities for students to open up and talk about personal struggles. Amenities Kitchen/Cafeteria- Top of the line as far as rehabs go. All the coffee you can drink during breakfast but don't over do it. Meals are protein heavy, diverse and have a good amount of vegetables, essential for the brain's recovery on a chemical level. Stear clear of the sodas and limit your dessert intake or you'll get what's known as the TC 30 in your first 30 days. If not more... Dorms- Always cold but just in the way that you want. Mattresses- Par for the course. However, bring a $10 foam topper and you'll sleep like a baby, guaranteed. Closets- Each student gets half plus ample shelving space. There is a shed outback for shoes so the rooms don't stink and floors stay clean, 5 pair limit. Bathrooms- They are super clean and you'll never run out of hot water; plenty of sinks and showers. Usually no wait time for your morning shave. Remeber to be a gentleman and clean up after yourself. Your Mrs. or future Mrs. will appreciate this later. Laundry- They will have a couple of designated students assigned to laundry duty and your clothes will be washed and folded on a weekly basis. Gym- Outdoor, covered weight area with elliptical, free weights, multi-use lift machine, mat for stretching and a HUGE tire to flip around campus and compete with others for bragging rights! A half court for basketball and sandpit volleyball area. Sorry, no in-ground pool. This is rehab, not a resort. Need something? TCO has a massive thrift store. If you're lacking anything outside toiletries and socks/underwear all you have to do is fill out a slip and an intern or mentor will have you hooked up and "drippin" in a day or so. Library- Several hundred books ranging from addiction recovery strories to deep subjects of the Bible and personal growth. I read over 60 books during my time spent at TCO. The best part was a series of biographies about Christian heros of the faith. I read all of them. My one take away was this- Not a single one lived a boring, unfulfilled life once they fully surrendered It over to God and chose to walk in faith and obedience. The same can and WILL happen for you if you make that choice. Work Detail Monday 12-5, Tue, Thur, Fri, 9-5; Wed 9-4:30, Sat. 8-5 Usually done a little early to make it back for dinner. "What?! This sounds like a labor camp, not a rehab!!!" Well all your needs are provided for and "regular" people work 40 hrs a week. Think of it as a 12 months of retraining for when you get back out into the real world. You get to build up your work ethic without the pitfalls of spending a paycheck on drugs or alcohol. Furthermore Teen Challenge has over 1400 locations in 125 countries. Not all are financially self supporting. So the efforts put in here ensures that others receive help elsewhere. This is the first time I've been in a treatment center. The faculty is outstanding, 5 star. They care. Always courteous. My favorite nurse is a lady named Toni. She just has what it takes to make my mind go somewhere else than on my problems of the day. She keeps a close eye on everything going on and the clients as they pass her station. She recognizes symptoms and actually stops me to see if I need anything to help at that moment. She's a great listener and I will miss her so much after I leave to start my new life of freedom from drugs and alcohol and my daily overall mental health. I want to thank the people of Spencer's recovery for the fine work they do morning, noon and night to keep everyone comfortable and in good spirits. I would suggest to anyone having difficulty in daily life to seek help. It's here. They are here for you. I was in the worst stage of my life I was evicted from my home in Augusta ga and my wife passed away and facing homelessness with my two elderly dogs and was ready to give up I was lost in addiction, substance abuse combat related ptsd but here I found that I had a desire to not use or drink I know now I can trust again I was definitely lost in life but now I feel a I got a fresh start a new beginning a new chapter thanks to Dr. Pauls by the sea recovery the staff were amazing The people I met, Paul had the same desire to get better and thanks to Dr. Paul he was covering I was able to obtain four months recovery and looking forward to moving on to a healthier life.
