Great place. Pretty views of the lake. The nurses and doctors are good. I would have liked to have an in house counselor but my zoom counselor was good. Weekend groups were the best. The techs are very nice and work really hard. Art, music, outside activities were all a plus. The vibes acoustic was a neat thing they offered. And one massage during the stay was amazing. Housekeeping works really hard to keep things clean but they need more staff. They were updating the beds and furniture right before I left which looked nice. The food was good quality but difficult for someone with a gluten and dairy intolerance. They’re always improving and really care!

I applied to this treatment center and was turned away because I have possession felony from over 10 years ago and I have around 5 years sober with alot of knowledge that could possibly save a life. I wouldn't want my family going here not learning there is a way out even if you have felony you still have hope just not here
Response from the owner6 months ago
Hi Michael, I want to first clarify that your negative review is due to not being hired for a job, not actual care at our facility.
As a Medicaid-participating provider, we're required to follow strict regulations regarding employment eligibility and in this case we were unable to move forward. I understand it’s frustrating when the past creates limitations, but understanding those limits can help you focus on opportunities that are a better fit. By no means does that imply there is no way out and no hope for individuals with a record; and that’s certainly not a message we teach here. There are definitely opportunities out there for you and I'm sure you will find the right one.

We truly wish you the best in your job search!

Clients typically choose inpatient rehab when they are in early recovery or are experiencing a crisis that puts them at an increased risk of relapse. They reside at the treatment center for the length of their program, which may range from two weeks to more than 18 months, depending on the program design. Intensive psychotherapy is often the primary treatment modality, but clients in inpatient care may also receive holistic treatment and recovery-focused life skills training.

This helps those in recovery avoid isolation that can sometimes happen after they return home from treatment. It offers a supportive environment where they can practice skills learned in rehab. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.

Trauma therapy helps you work through the psychological impact that traumatic events have had on your life. Your therapist helps you identify the physical, emotional, and mental triggers and develop coping mechanisms. This helps rebuild a sense of safety and trust in yourself and others.

During family therapy sessions, you navigate the complexities of addiction and are provided tools to help improve communication and resolve conflicts. When you work together, families can better support their loved one's recovery and restore balance and harmony within the household.

As a short term therapeutic method, motivational interviewing in Florida requires only a couple of sessions. During these sessions, you'll have the opportunity to talk about your circumstances and any discrepancies between your current situation and future goals. Thank you for trusting SJRP, and for taking the time to shout out the people who care so deeply about what they do. We have an incredible team, if I say so myself, and they will all be so happy to know they made a real impact. Also, thank you for pointing out the meaningful parts of your experience, not only does it help us learn and improve, but it will hopefully help someone else make that important decision to take the first step towards recovery at SJRP. This is an amazing place through and through, and I could not thank them enough for the support, care, and guidance they gave my loved one during his recovery journey. Especially, huge thanks to Spenser, who went above and beyond to get my brother there, did everything possible on his end to make sure the process was both followed through and as simple as possible for my brother. We seek out these types of places when we/our loved ones are in need of a helping hand, some human compassion, and the understanding of just how difficult it is to be in this situation. SJRP fulfilled all of these needs for me and my loved one, and I really believe Spenser was the first person to extend the compassion and care needed to help save my brother's life. You can tell he really cares and understands, and that alone is something I'll never forget. Thank you Spenser and SJRP for the part you all played in giving my brother a new chance at a healthy and happy life. We are all forever grateful!
