I’m a bigger tattooed guy and have had many poor experiences with treatment centers, not necessarily the staff themselves but more so me not flocking with the clients in them. This facility administratively discharged me for accusations they could not even prove just hear say, sent me to an even worse facility, brought me into the front room to speak with me and suggested they pack my belongings instead of me being able to do it which has happened at other places as well and sure enough they somehow misplaced my $300 set of trimmers and edgers and never notified or forwarded anything to me regarding a package I had delivered there the day after I left, nor did they reimburse my mother the money she sent on their company cash app for cigarettes and the package I had delivered. Essentially point I’m making is negligence, very dissatisfied thankfully I have a loving family who replaced it all anyway but it’s just the principle majority of these places are all about the money and are deceptive at best buyer beware your welcome

THIS is the treatment center E V E R Y O N E struggling with addiction needs to go to and I have ALWAYS recommended it to anyone since I left in 2022. This place took me in at my lowest when I was so broken. From the outside it doesn’t look like anything special and when I was driving in the van in the middle of the night on my way there I was like ohhh lord where am I going?! HAHAH. But the LOVE and the LIGHT and the HEALING you experience on the inside is so incredibly deep I still cannot put it into words. The BHTS are A M A Z I N G and they truly become your family. Ryan & Mike (idk if Mike is still there) are absolutely phenomenal therapist. It was SOOOOOOO refreshing to go to a treatment center that focused on the WHY instead of sticking to the “scientific” reasons like every other treatment center I had been to prior. The lady who did the art therapy was so intentional and went above and beyond. The food is so delicious you will literally want to go back just for the food lol and the cooks become your family as well. The therapy and the groups went so deep and were never surface level let’s try and pass the time… I am truly not very good with words LOL but I’m just trying to say that there is something so incredibly special in this place. I truly feel as though Gods hand is mightily upon SJRP with His favor running through the walls. This place saves lives and I will forever be so insanely grateful for SJRP. Thank you guys.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

aftercare iconAftercare Support
Rehab aftercare programs are a collection of highly individualized services designed to promote long-term recovery. These services evolve as your needs change. Case managers and recovery teams typically begin formulating the rehab aftercare service plan early in the recovery process to facilitate your reintegration back into the home, workplace, and community.
inpatient iconInpatient
Clients typically choose inpatient rehab when they are in early recovery or are experiencing a crisis that puts them at an increased risk of relapse. They reside at the treatment center for the length of their program, which may range from two weeks to more than 18 months, depending on the program design. Intensive psychotherapy is often the primary treatment modality, but clients in inpatient care may also receive holistic treatment and recovery-focused life skills training.
sober-living iconSober Living Homes
A sober living home in Florida often serves as a transitional residence for individuals coming out of inpatient rehab. This helps those in recovery avoid isolation that can sometimes happen after they return home from treatment. It offers a supportive environment where they can practice skills learned in rehab. Offering a combination of structure and freedom, men's or women's sober living is a good stepping stone to independent life in recovery.

Treatments

When a person has alcohol use disorder (AUD), also referred to as alcoholism or alcohol addiction, they experience withdrawal symptoms when they stop drinking. This physical dependence results from overuse of alcohol, which may be used as a coping mechanism or escape. Individuals who have AUD can overcome the alcohol addiction through alcohol rehab in Florida. This treatment process involves essential therapy and supports to help the individual achieve and maintain recovery.

Drug rehab in Florida provides quality treatment to help individuals overcome dependency related to a wide range of addictive substances. Programs address both the physical and mental aspects of addiction in order to help you make a full recovery.

mental-health iconMental Health And Substance Abuse
opium iconOpioid Addiction

In Florida, substance abuse treatment focuses on treating mental health and substance use disorders concurrently to improve recovery outcomes and overall health. Levels of care include medical detox, outpatient, residential treatment, and intensive outpatient programs. Clinicians utilize evidence-based therapies such as dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) or medication-assisted treatment, group therapy, and skills training activities. This comprehensive approach to treatment helps to ensure sustained recovery.

Programs

adult-program thumbnail image
Adult Program
Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.

Clinical Services

Individual therapy often includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. This is a structured approach to identifying and changing negative thought patterns. During therapy you learn how what you think drives your actions so you can develop healthier coping strategies to manage addiction triggers and reduce drug use.

Group therapy provides a safe and supportive environment for people in Florida who are struggling with drug addiction. There you can openly discuss the challenges and progress you're making without fear of judgment from your peers who experience many of the same things you are.

Therapists who apply cognitive behavioral therapy in Florida believe patient thoughts and behaviors are closely linked. They use this treatment method to help clients change their thought patterns so they can also change behaviors and break free from substance abuse.

Dialectical behavior therapy in Florida consists of individual therapy and group instruction. This structured program is a form of psychotherapy that incorporates the development of skills for managing emotions and relationships.

Trauma therapy helps you work through the psychological impact that traumatic events have had on your life. Your therapist helps you identify the physical, emotional, and mental triggers and develop coping mechanisms. This helps rebuild a sense of safety and trust in yourself and others.

During family therapy sessions, you navigate the complexities of addiction and are provided tools to help improve communication and resolve conflicts. When you work together, families can better support their loved one's recovery and restore balance and harmony within the household.

As a short term therapeutic method, motivational interviewing in Florida requires only a couple of sessions. During these sessions, you'll have the opportunity to talk about your circumstances and any discrepancies between your current situation and future goals. You'll then decide for yourself what changes you want to make.

This is hands down the best rehab experience I’ve ever had! The staff go above and beyond to make you comfortable as well as taking the time to listen. I went to this rehab two different times and don’t think I could have made it this far in recovery without my time there! Thank you sjrp for all you do! I definitely recommend this place if you or a loved one are looking for help with addiction! Just try it you won’t be disappointed! It works if you work it!

Admitting myself into SJRP was one of the best decisions I ever made. It was so much more than a rehab, that place really was a healing sanctuary for me. The entire staff there really cares and they will hold a special place in my heart forever. I have 9 months and 4 days clean and sober today, and this wasn't my first time getting clean but the help I received from SJRP gives me the confidence it will be my last. If you need help do yourself a favor and admit yourself here. You deserve to be a better you and they can help you with that.

Response from the ownerInvalid relative date format:
"You deserve to be a better you" - love that! Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a review Lauren. We wish you continued success, health and happiness!!

This was the first rehab I ever went to. I really love all the staff and I made some new friends that I needed. By the end of my stay, I didn’t want to leave. I stay in contact with the ones that I became close to and we are like family. Becoming sober and being able to be myself around people I had never met before was life changing for me. I know that if I hadn’t gone to SJRP, I wouldn’t be here today.

This is wonderful to hear Mallory, thank you so much for sharing! We wish you all the best!!

These people give you one chance. A medical Uber shows up and is judgemental towards someone in recovery. I just got phone blocked by the Chaz at the center. Don't go there. White sands, or vista is a better choice.

Response from the ownerInvalid relative date format:
Hi there, do you work for White Sands and/or Vista? I noticed within days you posted a bad review for another facility and again recommended going to White Sands or Vista, so now I'm wondering if there is an ulterior motive here.

Either way, for those interested and ready to begin addiction treatment please know that we are a group of extremely passionate individuals who truly want to help those who want help. We don't use Uber, rather an actual staff member will drive to pickup a client if we are assisting with transportation.

We understand that most individuals coming to our center are deep in addiction and are experiencing a lot of fear and defensiveness during this vulnerable time. We strive to provide empathetic and non-judgmental care which means we give multiple chances in an attempt to help our clients, but ultimately, we cannot force an individual who does not want to be helped. We also have rules in place to protect both our clients and our staff.

We're here for those who are ready to take the next step in their recovery and are committed to providing a safe and supportive environment for that journey.

I haven't even gotten to the facility as of yet considering some legal matters in my past but Elise has been so understanding and has been helping me as much as she can. Even if I'm not accepted I thank you for the effort. I have to do this on my own but to have someone "try" to make it work with you is a blessing to keep pushing. 💪🏿🙏🏿

Response from the ownerInvalid relative date format:
Thank you for letting us know that Elise has been been supportive and we hope everything works out for you! Stay strong!
