The place is great. My daughter is there. Only complaint i have is there policy. Me and my wife drove 1 1/2 hour. And only one can visit. Then was told my service dog could NOT come inside.

My son is completely transformed. He is definitely on his way to becoming the man that God has called him to be. Teen challenge is absolutely hands down the answer to your love one's addiction. This 12 month program is your childs pathway to recovery. Believe in its culture and watch your love one grow into a productive adult. I would definitely recommend this program to all who struggles with your love one's addictions.

I came to this looking for help for alcohol and found I really needed the help with mental health care. The staff is absolutely wonderful and the surroundings are so Serene and peaceful. There are no amount of words I could give for the gratitude I have for what this place is giving me back to me in my life. I am truly grateful. To me there is no amount of money that could ever give me what I retained here at mending fences. This place has been absolutely PRICELESS! I highly recommend if there's anyone that needs help, a loved one or friend this would be the place for their healing journey. I finally feel I have my life back.

I went to Mending Fences to get help with my debilitating anxiety. From the time I arrived at the facility I was met with friendly and compassionate staff. The admission process was very professional, very timely and the staff made me feel safe. Concerning the program, Mending Fences focused on a personal track of a healing process designed specifically for me. I was assigned a Therapist (shout-out to Jeremy) who patiently worked with me to guide me through the healing process. Every therapists that led groups were dedicated to making learning different modalities wether - CBT, ART, OUTSIDE ACTIVITIES, EXERCISE AND MUSIC - Fun and engaging! From playing volleyball, shooting basketball hoops, bon fires and even an open mic night! Unfortunately, due to a health issue I had to leave the program - this was very disheartening for me - but the Psychiatrist , therapists and staff made the exiting process a great experience for me! Just to mention, these people try to accommodate me so that I could continue the program - it amazed me how much effort they put in - thanks 🙏 One last thing the facility and the grounds were beautiful! One last thank you to all the staff, techs , therapists and Doctors who helped me 🙏🙏 Rex

I’ve updated review!! My son is going on 3 years sober!!! This is the place!!! My son is 34 and checked himself in 5 months ago. He made the decision to stay the full six months within the first month. I'm so proud of him and all the guys there. It's an amazing journey they go through. I know this place saved my son's life. Kindness, compassion and studying the AA 12 Steps and the way in which the program is run. It teaches responsibility, accountability and the tools to get and stay sober. Thank you God for answering prayers he led my son straight to Bridges of Hope!! Thank you Jesus It is now April 2024 and my son is still sober at 37 and in fact my nephew is getting ready to complete his 6 months and he is excited about being sober and they both know and love the Lord! God. He has answered my prayers and Bridges of Hope was the vessel. It is now July 1, 2024 my son is 37 and in August it will be 3 years Sober!! Praise Jesus and Bridges of Hope! To God be the Glory! Bridges of Hope saved my sons life!!! The staff is the best and they know what works in curing addiction, they are the best I've ever seen and I have had him in many. He makes sure to go over everything with you about your care and any issues you have. I love that he LISTENS! His nurse is outstanding as well. Any issues not covered was because we forgot. Beyond grateful for my two visits here at FRC. I am now coming up just shy of two years sober. I did my two stints at the old facility. The staff is extremely welcoming, the programming is great, and both times met great friends I am still in contact with today. Making the call to get a ride back to FRC after a month long binge, withdrawing in a fetal position on my floor, was the best choice I have made. From spiraling out of control and loosing it all, to building up a new prestigious career, brand new life, and most importantly, my peace of mind. I needed a break. A vacation from the lifestyle I was living. A trip back to reality. I couldn’t bear to live one more hour. FRC gave me it all. Get the hardest part over with. Make the call, you wont regret it.

I can't recommend FRC enough. This organization has truly been a life-changer and life-saver for me. My journey with FRC began in 2007 when I was a patient receiving care. I was at the lowest point in my life after years of substance use and a near fatal suicide attempt. Under the care of Dr. Teitelbaum, The support I found there was instrumental in introducing me to recovery, and I am incredibly grateful for the nearly 18 years of sobriety I have today because of that start. To come full circle and later spend over 12 years working on the incredible FRC Team has given me a unique perspective. I will forever be grateful for having the opportunity to witness firsthand the profound, life-changing work that happens there every single day. My appreciation for FRC, its mission, and its dedicated staff is immense. Unfortunately, I am starting a new job in another city to be closer to my family, but I will always carry FRC with me. If you or a loved one is seeking help, you are in the best possible hands.

"It works, if you work it, so work it, you're worth it!" I came to the Florida Recovery Center a broken man, suicidal, no self-confidence, and a great lack of a sense of purpose and worth. Through intensive individual therapy, group therapy, recreation therapy, in-depth 12 Step assignments and application, CBT (Cognitive Behavior Therapy), a multitude of informative and illuminating lectures (medical, recreational, spiritual, relational), and a greatly supportive community of people all working on the same goal of sobriety and sanity, I have been able to begin my life anew. I am now 90 days sober for the first time in 30 years thanks to FRC (Florida Recovery Center)!!!! I would not be alive to write this review had they not believed in me and, likewise, I had not believed and trusted the process. YOU must surrender to the process, be vulnerable, and be willing to choose LIFE for yourself - a good life without dragging around the heavy burdens of guilt, shame, and regret.....BUT YOU have to be honest with yourself and them or it probably won't work. IT WORKS IF YOU WORK IT SO WORK IT YOU'RE WORTH IT!!!!

This place is a little bit like jail LOL. But it really gets you in the right frame of mind for the intensive outpatient program, which is the next phase. Rules here are heavy, waiting list can be long, chaos can be constant, group amount can be overwhelming, privacy virtually Non-Existent... But stay tough and stick with it. The intensive operation program is great. Well, better 🙂... Just obey the rules and you'll be fine! And remember, the rules exist for a reason. Avoid the pods of guys, a lot of the guys are just there because they're homeless. Not because they're looking to get sober. It's just a reality. I'm sure 30 days of this is not enough to get you sober, so if you plan on leaving after 30 days, be ready to work your own program when you get home. If you find the staff to be a little abrasive at times, well get over yourself , this is not a hotel. They're managing a lot of people in a very enclosed environment . Sometimes to do that they have to be blunt. And they have to be forceful. So if you get your feelings hurt, shut up. Grab a book, sit under a tree, or lay in your bed and read and work on your recovery. And regardless of some of the animals that are around you, respect others and practice being the human being that you want to become. This part of the program could stand a new property. This property is not the best. And well I suppose they could do a little bit better with weeding out the riff Raff. But whatever, you're not going to die. Get what you need to get and be pleasant to others. Later!
