We’re from Valdosta, but live in Cape Coral, Florida. We gave up our house and lived in an RV for a year to get in the House of Hope started here. The program we have are for men. We tried to get a program from women, but could not find a woman strong enough to head it up. Thanks for the wonderful work that you are doing in South Georgia. It truly saves lives and brings people out of the darkness of addiction and into the beautiful light of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior God Bless y’all 💕

My daughter’s therapist has been there for her each and every time we have needed her no matter the time of day. She is interested, caring, knowledgeable, and she is involved in every aspect of treatment. Also, she never fails to follow up with her. My daughter also has a Para pro that comes to our house weekly to help her with her coping skills, and many other issues that help her deal with day to day life. I can’t begin to say enough about these amazing people. They have quickly become a part of my family just by the amount of caring and support that they have given my family. GO TEAM CK/MC

Groups has been amazing! When I was in a tough spot with no childcare nor transportation & I found myself out of my prescription I searched around for telemedicine options & found Groups recover together. I decided to give them a call to explain my situation & they were a life saver where I happened to get into the program the very same day. In the beginning I was a little nervous of the weekly group meetings as I have anxiety being around others, especially with strangers while sharing about personal experiences that are not my proudest moments. I quickly overcame that & enjoy everyone. I consider many of them friends I can talk to when I need a listening ear. They have an app that I’ve never had any problems with, you will use this to update your care plan, submit drug test, & will join your meetings through if you choose the telemedicine option. Once in the program for a while, you meet with your counselor, office manager, & the other members in your area weekly; then a physician monthly where they will then send your medication to the pharmacy. If you have any problems you will have their numbers to reach out to, also a hotline you can call after office hours for anything from support/prescription issues/if you need to see the DR sooner/want to attend an extra meeting/reschedule if something comes up in your usual week etc. They are here to help you, not judge/punish you if you have a slip up during your recovery. Just make sure to be honest with them. Everything is confidential; A quote we say is “what happens in Groups, stays in group” (like in Vegas :D). You can be yourself & not feel judged as none of us are perfect but we’re all doing the work to become better. If you’re thinking about it & struggle with opiate dependence, CHOOSE GROUPS! I continue to recommended to any family &/or friends that need the help. I am truly thankful for this program, the ones who work for groups, as well as the participants that keep the program going. So many of us rely on what Groups offer & I pray the telehealth option in our state continues as I wouldn’t be able to be here without it. Thank you truly! -- Sarah, a proud “Groups Recover Together” member.

Poor customer service. They gave me a number to call and I've been calling it everytime to schedule appointments. Lady snaps at me saying, "You don't need to call me. Just call the office." (Well don't tell me I can call you and give me the number to call) I've asked for testing to be done 3 or more different times and they still haven't done it keep asking if I want it. (No I'm just asking for the testing, because I don't want it.) Last of all they never said anything about payment or cost and I have been going for a few months now without paying. Last time I went she asked for a fee and I figured it was because they finally figured out insurance so I was paying what was left, but then I got the receipt with the balance on it... (With no prior notice of balance or bill in the mail) They also wanted me to write my social on a sticky note, They don't smile, and are very rude. Never going back

In the last few years I lost a lot due to my drug use. I'm still losing more and more to this day, as people find out what I've been through and as I see former friends die due to their addiction. Turning point turned my life around exponentially. I was at a point where I was going to lose everything that was left. I alienated my wife and kids. I used every dime my family earned to fuel my addiction. Turning point's recovery program helped me learn that I was acting against myself in wanting to keep what I had. They showed me that I was a danger to my family and not the other way around. I've been clean since June 5th 2023. It's not without it's struggles. Today is April 12th 2024. I'm still clean, thanks to Dr. Calvin, an addict in recovery himself. In my recovery I've realized that those closest to me were enabling me. I made some tough choices but those choices were exactly what I needed. I am liberated! I know I will struggle but I have been and will take it ONE DAY AT A TIME! One year ago I thought I would not be happy unless I ended my life. Today I am grateful for the extra time I was granted. If not for my higher power, I would not be able to write this... I'd be in the ground. Please if you read this, you can turn your life around at Turning Point! I know it sounds like a paid ad, but, I am living proof! Turning Point works Miracles!
