I admitted myself to Spring Gardens 17 months ago. It was the best experience ever. The accommodations were great, the staff were amazing, and the treatment I received was class A! I was in pretty bad shape when I arrived. With the care I received, I have begun the rebuilding process.

I came to this looking for help for alcohol and found I really needed the help with mental health care. The staff is absolutely wonderful and the surroundings are so Serene and peaceful. There are no amount of words I could give for the gratitude I have for what this place is giving me back to me in my life. I am truly grateful. To me there is no amount of money that could ever give me what I retained here at mending fences. This place has been absolutely PRICELESS! I went to Mending Fences to get help with my debilitating anxiety. From the time I arrived at the facility I was met with friendly and compassionate staff. The admission process was very professional, very timely and the staff made me feel safe. Concerning the program, Mending Fences focused on a personal track of a healing process designed specifically for me. I was assigned a Therapist (shout-out to Jeremy) who patiently worked with me to guide me through the healing process. Every therapists that led groups were dedicated to making learning different modalities wether - CBT, ART, OUTSIDE ACTIVITIES, EXERCISE AND MUSIC - Fun and engaging! From playing volleyball, shooting basketball hoops, bon fires and even an open mic night! Unfortunately, due to a health issue I had to leave the program - this was very disheartening for me - but the Psychiatrist , therapists and staff made the exiting process a great experience for me! Just to mention, these people try to accommodate me so that I could continue the program - it amazed me how much effort they put in - thanks 🙏 One last thing the facility and the grounds were beautiful! One last thank you to all the staff, techs , therapists and Doctors who helped me 🙏🙏 Rex

JEREMY, MY VETERAN THERIPIST WAS VERY GOOD AT SHOWING ME THE RIGHT ROAD TO RELIEVE MY SYMPTOMS SYMPTOMS OF SOCIAL ANXIETY AND TO BECOME A BETTER PERSON. THE FOOD AND KITCHEN STAFF WAS AWESOME. THE CLEANING/LAUNDRY STAFF ARE ALL GREAT AT THERE JOBS. THE MEDICAL STAFF ARE VERY GOOD AT MAKING YOU FEEL BETTER. JASON WITH ADMISSIONS WAS EXCELLENT AT GETTING INFORMATION I NEEDED. The Refuge is a safe, structured and welcoming place that allows growth and genuine healing. Life at The Refuge is structured in a way that truly brings positive results. Not your typical rehab at all. If you've reached the point where you realize life could be so much better and you're willing to do the work then I highly recommend this place to you.

My experience at The Refuge was truly life-changing. From the very beginning, the atmosphere was professional yet incredibly warm and caring. The staff and providers genuinely care (especially if you show your desire for help), and it shows in the way they support and guide you. A special shout-out to my therapist, Jessica—she was amazing and helped me process and grow in ways I didn’t think were possible. The food was excellent (better than I expected!), and the amenities made a real difference in my stay—the gym in particular was a great outlet. What stood out most to me, though, was that the quality of treatment really depends on what you put into it. The Refuge provides the tools, the resources, and the support, but it’s up to you to engage and make the most of it. Overall, I’m deeply grateful for my time here and would recommend The Refuge to anyone who is ready to invest in their healing journey.
