The facility is beautiful, on the water, with an exceptional pool (ideal for swimming laps!), and a state of the art fitness center, with a marvelous indoor basketball court. I was really skeptical about the procedure and believing that I would have no cravings afterwards, I did a lot of research and found someone on Facebook that had gone through the procedure and they reaffirmed everything that the ANR Clinic stated. From the first phone call to my intake at the Hospital as well as my aftercare I was treated with care and compassion by each and every member of the ANR Clinic. I had my procedure done on March 24th 2026 and it was the best decision I have ever made, I have never experienced any cravings and each and every day I am feeling one step closer to the man I was before ever taking opiates. I was fortunate enough to stay in the new housing for the duration of PHP. It’s a good balance of freedom and accountability. As compared to being locked down like other PHPs I had considered. Sophros provided a number of different approaches in sessions to help keep everyone engaged. And my therapist Shannon was top notch. Definitely would recommend. From the councilors like Raven, Kassi, Jessica and Evelyn to the wonderful nurses Tina, Chandra, and Mary (they are the best part of my day)who ensure that you not only get what you are prescribed but also that you are feeling your best. Not only will you never be shamed and only encouraged and motivated by staff but they truly are rooting for you. If you want to succeed and feel your best then you should be treated by the best and they are all here. Added bonus is that you can receive full panel blood screening to make sure that you don't just think you are ok but know that you are. I am the hardest stick and worst to draw blood from but Nay is the absolute best vein expert I have ever seen. My Experience at Riverside Recovery Tampa I want to take a moment to give a huge thank-you to the entire team at Riverside Recovery in Tampa. From clinical staff and nurses to the techs and everyone behind the scenes, I have been treated with kindness, respect, patience, and genuine compassion. There are so many people I want to recognize. David, Gerardo, Sequoia, and Jaden have all been amazing and have made me feel supported throughout this process. The entire tech team has been there when I needed them. I especially want to thank my therapist Janet for helping me open up and talk about things I haven't always been able to talk about. My ARPNs have also been phenomenal—passionate, caring, and truly involved in helping me. A special thank-you to Shannon and Lane, the detox coordinators. I've been through detox more times in my life than I care to remember, but this time feels different. There have been moments when I've felt like I wanted to pack up and run away, but something here keeps making me stay. And at the end of the day, I realize that I don't really want to leave. Riverside is showing me that there may be a different way to live. I'm beginning to understand that recovery isn't just about getting through detox—it's about opening up, facing yourself, accepting help, and learning how to build a different life. I'm incredibly grateful for everyone here who has played a part in my journey. Thank you for treating me like a person, not a number, and for continuing to believe in me even when I was struggling to believe in myself. The staff were exceptional. Caring, sensitive, and experienced. The facility is beautiful, on the water, with an exceptional pool (ideal for swimming laps!), and a state of the art fitness center, with a marvelous indoor basketball court. Groups encouraged sharing, and the therapists are outstanding! Dining is very, very good. Wonderful experience for my husband, as Riverside gave him a great start on his recovery journey!

Honestly can't say enough good things about this place. I learned so much in just 30 days there. My case worker Sammy n my therapist Joel went way out of their way to get me the help I needed. If you apply yourself there you can really retain a lot. There's a bunch of amazing counselors that run groups that you can get a lot out of. An also a great amount of extra circular activities. If you're looking for a place to start your recovery in Southwest Florida. This is the place.

I'm just curious does this work well for opiates like methadone because I am reading about people who were on buprenorphine but methadone has a very long and unpredictable half life and have you had successful patients who were on high doses of methadone and still not have ridiculous cravings post procedure?

I used the ANR Clinic to get off of Opiates that I had been taking for close to 10 years due to a back injury which led to 3 back surgeries. I was really skeptical about the procedure and believing that I would have no cravings afterwards, I did a lot of research and found someone on Facebook that had gone through the procedure and they reaffirmed everything that the ANR Clinic stated. From the first phone call to my intake at the Hospital as well as my aftercare I was treated with care and compassion by each and every member of the ANR Clinic. I had my procedure done on March 24th 2026 and it was the best decision I have ever made, I have never experienced any cravings and each and every day I am feeling one step closer to the man I was before ever taking opiates. I cannot recommend the ANR Clinic enough, if you are struggling like I was take the first step and call them, they will help and guide you every step of the way.

This place really helps a lot if you just stick with it and want it for yourself everyone is super nice and compassionate and super helpful, and they are just there that do their job and they're all professionals, and they do very well at the job and they're very kind and they just want to see people do better, that struggle with addiction, but you also have to want it for yourself. The program works. It's definitely a great program. I definitely recommend it if you're struggling with an addiction. It helped me and I helped other people I know friends and family i rate it a 5 star and the staff you guys are awesome work very hard.

Best thing that has happened to me in about 10 years. If you're really ready to get help this is the place to get it. But only if you're ready. Don't waste their time or money. When I first walked through the doors of Sophros, I was at one of the lowest points in my life. That rock bottom everyone talks about. I had been to my fair share of rehabs and treatment programs and somehow could not seem to get sobriety to stick. I was hopeless, alone, and scared. But this place changed that, and set my life on a new trajectory I didn’t think was possible. This place is truly one of a kind. I hit the jackpot when I was assigned Shannon as my therapist. You’ll see her mentioned a lot in these reviews, and for very good reason. To bluntly put it, she saved my life. And I’m not being dramatic when I say that. Her wit, compassion, and dedication is one of the main reasons I’ve made it this far. She taught me to not complicate the uncomplicated, to stop trying to outsmart my disease, and get out of my own way. Simple truths, that seemed impossible to grasp. The entire team at Sophros is made up of some of the most caring humans I’ve been blessed to encounter. They didn’t give up on me, especially when I felt like giving up on myself. Outstanding program! Everyone is very welcoming and supportive. I was fortunate enough to stay in the new housing for the duration of PHP. It’s a good balance of freedom and accountability. As compared to being locked down like other PHPs I had considered. Sophros provided a number of different approaches in sessions to help keep everyone engaged. And my therapist Shannon was top notch. I have gone to many, many treatment centers in an attempt to adress my alcoholism. Countless. The staff at Sophros is unlike anything Iv'e encountered. They are not just a business, and we are.not just numbers. The individualized attention and care for our wellbeing is by far unmatched. I went here and saw Catherine Meadors probably about a year ago for a 6 month program. During this time she helped me get through things I didn't even realize I needed. Par was a great place overall but when your six months are up you are scrambling to find somewhere to go. They DO NOT help in that area. To be completely honest it was the best rehab I've been to. It's the only one that I've stayed out of trouble since leaving.

My first visit to this VA clinic. Some things don’t change. VA nurses/Techs need access to my medical history not just doctors. Be ready to answer tons of questions for both primary care and mental health. Why not have both in the room for patients who get care at both???? Similar questions. You need an appointment for Labs???? Good thing no one waiting because it was empty in the AM and PM. Patients need easy access for ancillary services! Lab team was amazing! Overall long visit.

I love getting my services here! The concierge Renee physically walked me to my destination. Sheila was able to get my info over to my primary. Dr Parsamehr and her nurse Mia took care of me and got me over to Jay. Jay was able to communicate with Nelson who fit me into a tight schedule and he and Adianez got me all set. All this coordination took less than an hour! I love my teams here! Thank you all for taking such good care of me!
