About Operation PAR – Medication Services

Inpatient detox at Operation PAR involves 24/7 medical care and supervision during the earliest stages of recovery. During this process, healthcare professionals use evidenced based practices including the use of FDA approved medications, individual and group therapy to support clients. They also offer case management services to help individuals regain stability and prepare for a lifetime of sobriety.

Their medication assisted treatment (MAT) program called Medication Assisted Patient Services offers FDA approved medications for individuals with a history of opiate use. These medications make the early stages of recovery more comfortable in an outpatient setting. Medical professionals at Operation Par use naltrexone, methadone or buprenorphine to ease withdrawal symptoms and ease cravings, stabilize body functions and normalize brain chemistry. Clients also receive coaching and counseling by trained professionals.

This place is disgusting, very dirty, the walls the floor the BATHROOM. They have a double standard for how they treat people. For instance one person can have an overdose right out front and continue dosing their daily no problem another person can have Medicaid and be told after 5 months of it not being paid that now they need to pay out of pocket all of a sudden or be dosed out at 10 mg a day. You have to bring your medication in to be counted if you take any other substances and Alex has a problem with when you bring it in it has to be the exact right moment for some people. I used to bring it in at the beginning of the month that was a problem the end of the month that was a problem I saw just several people who bringing their medication at the very beginning of every month and never had the issues I had they literally started dosing me out of the program because I refuse to bring in my medication every single week so that I could be hassled by the druggies in the parking lot when they see me at that window. I'm so glad I switched clinics. UPDATE I am no longer on methadone!! The new clinic helped me get my dose low and then I weaned myself the rest of the way. I was so tired of going to the clinic. It has its purpose but I really wouldn't recommend methadone to anyone, it is so hard to get off of if you're looking for an alternative to withdrawal try buprenorphine. it doesn't make you tired in the middle of the day. Even when I was on 10 mg of methadone I was tired everyday. I could barely hold down a job. The struggle in having to go to the place every single day until they deem you fit to get one take home, the process is incredibly slow when you can go get buprenorphine and get a whole week's worth the very first visit. Wherever you go don't go to par. Brand new one out there who's still struggling just know that we all do, you're not alone. don't let the shame keep you trapped. Anyone can become an addict I don't care what they say about it, most of us started off on pain pills during the oxy epidemic. When you get prescribed pills from the doctor you get addicted to them. There's nothing simple about it because it's organic it can happen to anyone. But not everyone chooses to get clean.

Accepted Insurance

Please contact to verify your specific insurance provider.

Operation PAR – Medication Services works with several private insurance providers, please contact to verify your specific insurance provider.

Other Forms of Payment

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Financial aid can take many forms. Centers may have grants or scholarships available to clients who meet eligibility requirements. Programs that receive SAMHSA grants may have financial aid available for those who need treatment as well. Grants and scholarships can help you pai for treatment without having to repay.

Medicaid is a state based program that helps lower-income individuals and families pay for healthcare. Medicaid covers addiction treatment so those enrolled can use their coverage to pay for rehab. When a program accepts Medicaid the client often pays very little or nothing out of their own pocket.

Medicare is a federal program that provides health insurance for those 65 and older. It also serves people under 65 with chronic and disabling health challenges. To use Medicare for addiction treatment you need to find a program that accepts Medicare and is in network with your plan. Out of pocket costs and preauthorization requirements vary, so always check with your provider.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.

Clients typically choose inpatient rehab when they are in early recovery or are experiencing a crisis that puts them at an increased risk of relapse. They reside at the treatment center for the length of their program, which may range from two weeks to more than 18 months, depending on the program design. Intensive psychotherapy is often the primary treatment modality, but clients in inpatient care may also receive holistic treatment and recovery-focused life skills training.

Intensive outpatient programs (IOP) involve frequent and robust therapeutic sessions for clients requiring high-level care. Clients may engage in a combination of medication assisted treatment (MAT), addiction counseling, recovery skills training, and holistic therapies for a minimum of nine and a maximum of 20 hours per week. Intensive outpatient rehab is designed primarily for persons in early recovery, those exiting detox or inpatient care, and those at an elevated relapse risk.

If a person with a substance use disorder continually denies their problem or refuses to get treatment, a drug intervention in Florida may be necessary. Intervention services can help mediate the intervention by providing an addiction expert. This professional can de-escalate situations and facilitate a healthier discussion between the individual and their loved ones. Specialists can also help families handle issues they don't know how to navigate on their own.

Drug and alcohol addiction often takes a heavy toll on one's body. Over time, a physical dependence can develop, meaning the body physiologically needs the substance to function. Detox is the process of removing drugs and/or alcohol from the body, a process that can be lethal if mismanaged. Medical detox is done by licensed medical professionals who monitor vital signs and keep you safe, healthy, and as comfortable as possible as you go through detox and withdrawal.

Treatments

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

Drug rehab in Florida provides quality treatment to help individuals overcome dependency related to a wide range of addictive substances. Programs address both the physical and mental aspects of addiction in order to help you make a full recovery.

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

Substance rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from substance abuse, including alcohol and drug addiction (both illegal and prescription drugs). They often include the opportunity to engage in both individual as well as group therapy.

Programs

Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.

Clinical Services

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

Recreational therapy helps you recover from addiction by giving you structured activities that promote your physical health and mental well being. These activities could range from sports and fitness to creative arts and provide a constructive outlet for your emotions and stress.

Types of creative arts therapy in Florida include playing music, writing poetry, journaling, dancing, painting, and sculpting. These expressive activities can help you process emotions and work through challenges with the guidance of a creative arts therapist.

I'm a 52 year old man unfortunately been going through a dictionary for over 30 years I've been trying for 2 weeks to get into the detox program there and because I'm a methadone and when I get off of it because of the side effects I'm getting and which are really dangerous in the Sun I'm told to taper off at my clinic before I got five different other answers I was told to drop from 70 to 30 mg from my clinic and then go get a 7-Day takeout then after Bridget told me her supervisor needed to call me and never did and then I tried to call Bridget back towards the end of the day nobody answered I went there the next day to find out what was going on this evening I was told I was harassing them when I was trying to find out what I need to do to get into the program this evening I was told to go back to my methadone clinic in taper off to zero how will I be able to do that and not work and not pay my bills because if I do work out in the heat I might die because of the methadone I'm taking she told me that if I feel sick to go to the emergency room I believe that's the care coordinator if you got a problem I would go to Lakeside medmark
