We want to thank the staff at Celadon for their commitment to what they do everyday to help those with mental health and substance abuse problems.
We first visited Celadon in August 2024, where Jan the Executive Director spent time with us to hear our son’s situation and how we wanted to participate in his recovery journey. After Celadon staff investing time with us, our son refused to go to recovery and instead was homeless for (5) months, living on the street, hungary, dealing with marijuana induced psychosis, and in and out of crisis mental health facilities. During this time Jan and Nathan were constant sources of support and guidance. Finally after 5 months our son decided to go to recovery with a diagnosis of bipolar, major depressive disorder and marijuana abuse disorder and Celadon was waiting for him. Celadon staff did our son’s intake on Christmas day, Adam and Andrew have been working with our son since December 27, 2024 and are helping him to understand that addiction to marijuana is as harmful as any other drug when you have a mental health issue too. They are assisting him to secure a sober living residence and helping him to understand what sober living will mean for his health and future. Thanks to all the staff at this facility for your caring and dedication to help those who need help the most for both mental health and addiction.

| SalusCare - Evans Campus, located in Fort Myers, Florida, is one of those behavioral health centers that really impressed me from the start. They offer a full continuum of care for children, youth and adults impacted by the negative effects of drug and alcohol abuse. They’ll treat you with residential care, outpatient care or if you need an inpat | Treatments Programs Payment Options | For people looking for Sober Living options in the Southwest Florida area, I highly recommend SalusCare. They came through in a pinch for me when I stepped down from residential treatment at the Hazelden/Betty Ford Clinic in Naples.
I had made arrangements to step down into sober living in Naples as my next step on the path to recovery. As you may or may not be aware, there is a huge recovery community in Naples, and the sober living options are often full with waitlists. I was originally scheduled to step down at the end of my stay to a recovery house system in Naples, but they gave my slot away on my day of discharge.
I was forced to scramble to find a place, and looked a little further up the state on Ft. Myers. That is how I learned about SalusCare.
The staff is fantastic, holding weekly community meetings for residents to check in and let people know what kind of help or support they might need. They can also connect clients with medical providers and help develop a plan to lead to lasting sobriety.
The units in the SoberLiving portion of the facility are modern, clean and neat.
At first I was a little hesitant, but the staff’s attention to detail and eagerness to help saw me take my next step towards sobriety and into sober living within 24 hours of contacting them.
I have been matched with a great set of roommates, and it is a nice step to kind of retrain as far as job assistance, cooking and cleaning — all the necessary life skills needed to ensure continued sobriety.
They are also conveniently located near a number of 12-step meetings and Grace Church is a short walk away with plenty of opportunities to volunteer and give back to the community.
I gave SalusCare 5 stars — the only reason being was that I couldn’t give 6.
If you are looking for a sober living environment, I highly recommend SalusCare.

I like Salus care as my new Mental Health Place I wanted to update my review and give a few peices of helpful advice: I nicknamed My Psychitrist DR Joseph Flask Dwarf in the Flask from Fullmetal Alchemist Manga and Fullmetal Alchemist brotherhood Anime. I finally got the help I needed from my Psychitrist, I highly recommend Dr Joseph if you live in Cape Coral Florida or Fort Myers Florida as I feel like I can trust people again in my life. I'm a very complex case mentally and Physically being a Mentally and Physically Disabled person isn't easy by the way and i wanted to mention that I'm a healthcare Advocate for an end of life Paitent and I've been going through alot emotionally and sometimes i have to come here to get my meds adjustmeted or refilled because I work long hours and being without my lifesaving maitence meds is a nightmare, Joseph Flask is a very nice doctor and he actually takes the time to listen this alone shows that he cares, and he understands that i run out of my meds sometimes, he looks and me and gets to work on fixing any issue that I have with my meds or treatment plan, he's the only the second Psychitrist I've ever trusted in my entire life of 25 years, Although in Fort Myers Saluscare Psych hospital have really really stiff and uncomfortable beds that need to be updated so they don't destroy your back everytime you sleep on them. If you sleep on those beds no kidding that'll put your back out of place for a month and you'll need to go see a chiropractor for a while, I also saw Guy there named Paul at the Salus care Psych hospital he's pretty nice I also recommend having a chat with him while your in the Psych hospital because he actually takes the time to listen to you because while your in there you might as well make the best of the situation your in whatever that might be even if your homelessness and out on the streets, I know because I originally came from Michigan before coming to Florida was homeless for about a week moving up and down state lines, when I came here they gave me what I needed which was medication and a place to get the horrible feelings mentally I had out of my mind because if I didn't have I would have been homeless again due to unfortunate circumstances within less then a year of moving to Florida for nesscisary relocation. If anyone here ever treats you like dirt talk to the people here that you have the most faith and trust in and if you don't trust them consider switching providers to someone like Joseph Flask who is a Decent Psychitrist especially if your mentally hurt and are a homeless person who needs a little help. These are Words from a Truth Traveler.

When people asked me if I was not scare of being put under general anesthesia three times a week for four weeks. In reality, my biggest fear was continuing to be a living dead. I was tired and so depressed that I didn’t had the energy to hurt myself. I know it’s funny, but it is the truth. I was used to the sadness and simply not being able to be happy, but when the anxiety kicked in, I thought I was not going to make it. I was jittery all the time. My speech started to suffer and I started stuttering. I felt my heart in my throat on the regular. I couldn’t complete any phrase without having a panic attack in my brain. Did I mention all I do at work is talk to customers over the phone? I needed to take a leave of absence, recommended by my manager at that time.
In April 2025, I returned to Park Royal Hospital, where I was Baker Acted and admitted 6 years ago and stayed for 7 days. In this escenario I wanted to be part of group to hear others deal with their ghosts. I attended a couple of days, but was pulled aside by two angels that God sent my way: Dayana and Melanie. They evaluated me and introduced me to the ECT or Electroconvulsive Therapy. KEEP READING! Yes. It’s therapy with electricity, BUT it has given me a new desire to stay alive and repurpose myself. There is openness in my thoughts. There is still the tendency to miss being sad and feeling guilty, but now I can say that it is OK not to be sad and don’t feel guilt about it.
Dayana, thanks for leading my journey. “I have seen miracles happen there”. Since day one I believed in the treatment because of the passion and care in your voice. “We're going to take away those sad little eyes”, you said, looking at me with a level of compassion that changed everything for me. You are the boss and the heart of that unit. My eyes are remembering how to smile.😊
Melanie, your level of care, your diligence and your kind nature soothes the nervousness and anxiety for the unknown. Hearing you greet everybody by their name and celebrating that we made it to treatment is encouraging and inspiring. No surprise you have that Dominican blood. 🇩🇴
Dr. Seike, you and your humor is a fresh sip of water in the formula. You ask the questions and pay attention so I know what’s happening next. You made me want to wear shoes more often. 👟
Dr. Aleem, your demeanor projects in me the confidence of a person, not a doctor, a person who has invested their life in looking into this edgy treatment to make people’s life better. I feel calm and at peace with you treating me. I see the satisfaction of my progress in your subtle smile. Thank you. ❤️
Mike, I enjoy our conversations about our kids and I can feel your love for yours on how you defend them even from your own comments. You always show excitement about anything new that I share. I really value that. 💪🏻
Peggy, you are a light and If you ever felt that I was the one shinning, remember the relationship between the moon and the sun. You help a sad gray rock to be seen as shinny. Thank you for all the love you express when you speak. I have felt it and I have treasured every single word. ☀️
Karen, you and I know that my sickness is not only physical, but also spiritual. You added another dimension to my time in the hospital and really challenged me to keep my faith. I enjoy every conversation because of your attention to details and wise words. Oh, no adhesive please. 🤣
Zane, it makes me happy every time you are the one looking for me in the lobby. I feel cared for and I value how you make sure I am comfortable every step of my treatment. I treasure our chats in the parking lot when I am super loopy and we are just waiting confused as of why the Uber is not here if they said 5 minutes. You are admirable. My veins pop just to see you coming with the IV. 💉
Tyrah, you’re cool and super easy going. Quiet, but checking all the boxes to build your career. That’s inspiring and it makes me know I’m in good hands. Thank you. 🤓

These people saved my life. After my failed suicide attempt, I stayed for a month and with the help of the clinicians, psychologists, doctors and work on my part; I am a survivor. I wished many times that my condition could be diagnosed and visualized like an exray of a broken bone. However it takes learning the language of how to express how I am feeling, honest hard work to follow their direction and the support of those who love me to make me well. Now through trial and error, I have found what I need to keep me stable. I never miss a checkup or fail to take my medication. If I feel that I'm in trouble, I don't walk, I run to them. Recovery is possible with their help.

If you’re looking for a five start resort style mental health facility here, you’re not going to get it. Want to know what you won’t get though? A 700 something dollar bill from here after insurance! Want to know what you’ll get here? A fully staffed facility that works around the clock with hardly any breaks, 12 hour shifts and always a smile on their faces. The staff goes above and beyond to make everyone feel calm. You want your blanket while you’re in the day room? They’ll allow it. You’re not feeling group because you’re too emotional? They understand and will try again when you’re ready to open up. Snacks? It’s a state funded place, their budget doesn’t call for many snacks. The food? Isn’t going to be 5 stars, but it’s seasoned and tastes good and nutritious. You can’t sleep because you’re a female and have cramps? There’s a tech ready to assist you & a nurse and make sure you’re comfortable. I have been to two psych wards and by no means is this place fancy top notch, but the comfort and the feeling of being more than just a face passing along is there and that’s what matters. I hope the state gets better funding for them, the staff truly does care about everyone there and takes the time to make a plan for after you get out, set up with dates and counseling for you. The facility is cleaned, they clean it every day, sanitize your blankets you have to put them in the hamper for them to do so. For the people complaining about their family members not having clothes and blaming here ? Why aren’t they bringing their “loved ones” clothes for them? Why are they relying on a psych ward that’s state funded to also clothes their loved ones, they should be bringing them clothes during visitation and or dropping them off in their spare time. They offer visitation hours for adults only, so if you do have children they can’t visit which is kind of sad but it isn’t their rules, it’s a guideline they have to follow

Honestly this program helped a lot! The staff really knows thier stuff and made me feel heard most of the time. I do wish there were more LGBTQ resources. The place itself was decent (not fancy or anything) but clean. Some parts felt kinda old. Still I left feeling stronger and way more grounded than when I came in.

I recommend this place. I struggled with opioids after breaking my leg at 15 years old. Doctors prescribed OxyContin and I became addicted. Very addicted! I ended up with a 78 month federal prison sentence for a methamphetamine conspiracy charge. Since being in groups recover together I have been able to enjoy my life, hold down a great job, raise my children, and get my dream car and a home all of my own. Groups made all of this possible for me and they are very supportive and helpful with any aspect of your life, NOT JUST PRESCRIBING YOUR SUBOXONE! They truly made it possible for me to enjoy my life and freedom without the risk, search, stress, withdrawal etc. from drug addiction. Thank you Groups for my life!
