This is the best group I’ve been in when it comes to counseling. I’ve had many counseling classes before that I’ve had to take and I dreaded going to class whenever I had to go, but not here my counselor Kim made me feel very comfortable with the whole process I stopped looking at it as a class and really enjoyed having someone to talk to every week. Very helpful and learned a ton thanks to my group got a lot of different perspectives and ways to cope with my emotions. I appreciate everyone in my group and my counselor of course she makes the group what it is trust me keep up the great work you do for people Mrs Kim really.🙏❤️

Ms. Kim was amazing, she has helped me feel comfortable to talk and explore my emotions and learn how to handle my emotions as well as controlling them. Thank you tricounty for having such amazing staff.

Working with Gulf Harbor Treatment has been a pleasure. All of the staff are pleasant and have a strong understanding of their goals and the needs of their clients. The facility is private and everyone shows utmost discretion.

This is very specifically for a woman named Stephanie Talbot I believe who answered the phone when I called to make an appointment, I truly believe I have never talked to a more kind individual while scheduling any kind of appointment. It was such a joy and she was able to help me so quickly after I have struggled for months to get an appointment anywhere. I am amazed at this individual she deserves a party.

As a kid i've been in and out of this place This place was just like family to me when I didn't have the family support I needed . And even as an adult Open in and out of it Now it has been over five years I have found myself who I really am.Am I identity got my life together Have a beautiful little girl now .

Great staff great food best over all facility in Florida. Eric Hudson is overall the best worker in the unit. He deserves a giant raise.

I loved so much that I went back for more. Jo prioritizes safety, fun games and reinforces adaptability, growth and leadership.

Staff is wonderful, could use more staff though. But very welcoming. Mostly everyone is nice and chill. Just if you become a patient. Focus on you. No one else is your problem. ATTEND THE MEETINGS YALL. Don't sleep in

I went here a few years ago to get my life together, i've been clean since.. so much to do around here and the staff is excellent. 100% recommend!

So for me the mustard seed was a life saving experience for me,the staff were professional courteous respectful and very helpful They also had a open door policy where if you had a problem with anything they would address it They also had a kitchen provided meals for you daily snacks put out at all times They have a regimented schedule in which is very flexible to the people that had jobs The living conditions were great It's communal And there's a lot of independence For me it taught me to find out who I am It taught me how to be responsible. It taught me how to be a functional adult again And the director there Mrs Linda aka moma bird She genuinely cares for each client that comes through mustard seed it wasn't just a residential treatment center for me it was my temporarily home Mrs Linda carried me until I could carry myself for that she will always get the respect from me Thank you I miss the mustard seed But they gave me the strength and the tools for my next part of the journey for that thank you To Mrs Linda Billy Tina Tiffany All the techs Kitchen All the counselors that came in to my life and enriched it with the wisdom and the experience that they went through Ty to everyone who is thinking about recovery Mustard seed is a great place to get your life back together Where you can be safe I loved it there Signed Sam

I took my brother there for his appointments. Large parking area. Seems very well organized, clean, helpful staff. A large variety of services offered.

I would like to publicly apologize for a review I made in anger.Ms.Doreen,Ms.Trudi,amd Mr.Milton no matter how much bullshit I create for them,they still act in a very professional manner that just amazes me.I am not perfect by a long shot,but the faith these three have in me to succeed goes beyond anything I have ever experienced in my life.Thank you lakeside.

This is place is AMAZING! I came in last week and this place SAVED MY LIFE! Staff & Nurses do EXCELLENT work and care for EVERY client!

At first I have to say, I would not have given them any stars BUT I went in high and by day 2 felt pretty bad already. I walked in on my own accord and on day 3 almost walked out. Thanks to a few of the employees there I did not. They talked me through the worst of the times I had in there and that alone is why I am sitting here typing this review. They literally saved my life. Anyone who is reading this I just want to say something that I hope the right people hear....there is nothing easy about getting clean or staying clean. But there is also nothing easy about staying high. It is possible to live again after addiction. But no one can be forced into it. They have to be ready. At their ropes end so to speak...emotionally, financially, physically what ever the case it has to be their choice. Someone who is not an addict cant tell an addict what they need to do and how they should just stop. That would be like telling someone not on drugs to stop breathing. I know anyone who has never been there and is reading this is thinking that I am a moron, and well maybe but I am a CLEAN moron. 75 days today. I am a great father again and a great husband, son, brother, uncle, friend and I AM ALIVE for the first time in many years. So please to the parents with an addict for a child, or a spouse with a husband or wife that has an addiction or a best friend....Please go easy on who ever it is that you are trying to help. Have compassion and love in your heart. Try to be understanding even if your angry at them and you are most certainly angry at them but your angry because you love them and you are worried about them. Try to remember that every time to want to offer them help. Because I will tell you the Gods honest truth, a true addict and this is coming from someone who was putting 500 dollars a day of Fentanyl in his arm (the most powerful opiate for human consumption) but a honest to God true addict doesn't want to be. They are in a very very lonely place. They feel like they are in this world all alone. Like being on some deserted island with no happiness at all not even from the drug. More guilt than you can even begin to imagine from all the lies, and the stealing money and losing everything or selling everything they have ever owned. Trust me when I say they know where they stand in the eyes of the world. So its up to you as their loved ones to give them them the confidence and strength and support that they need to make the right decision and its up to them to make it. I do apologize for the long review but if only one person gets something helpful out of what I wrote here today then I feel like Im helping. So the original post........how do I rate the detox unit in Bartow (AKA The Mary Lyons Center) well, 5 stars. Yes its state funded and the bottom of the barrel but you are not there on vacation, your there to go through 5 days of hell to get your life back. Honestly I would imagine that it would not matter where you are when you begin to get severely dope sick. There is no meds to help with the withdrawls other than clonidine and for an addict thats like eating skittles. But the worse it feels and the more it hurts the longer your going to remember what you went through and hopefully you wont want to put yourself through it again. And PS all free detox facilities are going to suck to some extreme. Thank you to everyone at The Mary Lyons detox unit for everything. I honestly owe my life to you. Oh everyone but Marlena. She caused me more problems than she even realizes. And if your reading this Marlena.....I'm still clean and doing better than I ever have so what you told my wife on the phone was just simple ignorance. Anyone whos thinking about getting clean...dont think about it just walk in and do it. Its so worth it. God Bless and I wish you all the best
